I had a two week holiday this year and they were instantly slurped up. it went so fast!#there was this big football thing the week before my holiday - basically teams of teens come from all around the world to play etc.#I heard a girl tell her teammates that 'I'd love to travel on this bus every morning; happy people all around you; just add some music...'#she was also very excited when the bridge opened. the 'happy people' around her sighed bitterly and leaned back for a ten minute wait.#it is thankfully over now. the bus home is no longer stuffed full of football teams. but it's a fun experience for the players etc etc etc #well. in other thrilling news I went to spy on our sister shops during my time off. to see what they do differently. maybe steal some ideas #one store was like an instagram post with fancy teacups and stylish outfits. who knew a second-hand store could be so boring.#the other was like a man-cave with furniture and a passively-aggressive note by the toys stating that 'if u break it u pay. idiot. tnx<3'.#the man-cave was my favourite :)#rant over now! take care and bye etc!

If Harrow manages to get into a new body/vessel it would be so fun to see how long it takes him to adjust to being a human again and how many bird habits he keeps

Him leaping off of ledges to take off in flight only for sweet gravity to humbly remind him of his mortal shell, him getting angry at someone and making bird sounds to assert dominance (life as a wild Xadian songbird is surprisingly cruel okay?), him relearning how to write and use utensils again, him being so good at birdsongs now to the point he can’t whistle them with the window open without catfishing some birds, etc.

A little bit of me over-analyzing Nevra :) again

Something I've noticed about Nev in New era is that almost every time he is giving orders, he uses expressions like "I suggest…" "If everyone agrees…" "If it's okay with you…" and is open to new ideas and suggestions, which… I love of him.

I wasn't sure whether he did it just to give the people he's commanding a false sense of control and keep them appeased or bc he genuinely is being considerate, but now I'm inclined to say it's genuine. Because!! hear me out!! the moments when there is really no other choice he never asks for anyone's permission. He can be quite assertive like that. (Like when Erika complained he hadn't asked her opinion on flying on dragon back and he goes something like "Because I didn't ask lol. You just have to.")

#sniff I love him #The fact that he gives people choices whenever he can #probably to make sure he doesn't abuse his power #But is as strict as he needs to be #and takes everyone into consideration help #He just seems like a good leader to me idk idk I'm a Nevra apologiser #That one time when he puts Leiftan in a team WITH HIMSELF #because neither Leiftan or Lance would't to be thrilled with each other #or him choosing who takes the hardest guard in the night the one that splits sleep in two #and automatically gives that one for himself and asks for a volunteer #I love him!!#He seems rude but is always so !! considerate!!#eldarya #eldarya ane #eldarya new era #nevra #eldarya nevra

kind of ridiculous how quickly people turned from begging for ian to take over writing from pontac and graff to complaining as if “harmless if slightly gratuitous easter egg references to other pieces of Sonic media” is anywhere near as bad as the 2010s status quo was

Man it really does get tiresome how much our society is built around the expectations of early birds

Like I'm not claiming to be an oprressed minority or anything but damn

The way it's always framed as "I know some of us like to sleep in but they'll just have to make the effort!"

I don't LIKE sleeping in, I'm fucking useless when I don't!

It aggravates every single one of my health issues from circulation to digestion to migraines.

It's not a willpower problem, my body will not adjust no matter how many days in a row I force it to wake up at a "reasonable" hour, it just builds until I crash and burn.

Just let me do the evening shifts that no one else wants. I don't understand why people want to flip flop between those and mornings anyway

#Sorry my team had a meeting yesterday to plan for the Christmas rush and I'm still annoyed at the “microaggressions” I was getting #Literally told them BEFORE I started I didn't want morning shifts cuz I'm not a morning person #Even gave that as my “greatest weakness” when they asked #And they didn't mind bc I said I'd work evenings and weekends instead #They were thrilled even #And now it's “we will all have to pitch in!”#Like okay let me pitch in with what I'm good at #You're just gonna get fed up when I get weak during my morning shift and I have to slip out to sit down or puke #I literally told her about that happening at my previous retail job
