hey thanks for the ask! hope you enjoy, though it might be short

-kara absolutely loves the legends, she thinks they're super great. the legends all love her too, they all get along really well. maybe kara even just like randomly goes to hang out on the waverider with them from time to time. she likes their energy and she has a lot of fun hanging out with them

-i think lena would be super fascinated with the ship and with gideon, especially. she's probably more,, awkward, or stiff, or reserved i guess? with most of the legends than kara is, but she'd probably get along fairly well with the science nerds on the team, spends a lot of time in the waverider's lab with them

-nia is like kara and she just absolutely loves the legends, loves spending time with them, loves how queer they are, all of it. she has a lot of fun anytime she gets to be on the ship with them

-alex is also a bit more reserved than kara and nia when it comes to the legends. she likes them enough, likes most of them a lot actually, but she's just. not as open, and a little awkward and stuff, around a lot of them. she's pretty awkward around sara at first but then sara is so casual and cool and she gets along great with her fairly quickly, and through sara, also ends up getting along really well with ava too

-kelly is pretty in awe of the ship and everything so that's where her head is at first but once she gets over the initial awe/shock, she gets along with them pretty well, though definitely still more reserved than kara and nia have ever been with the legends. she also hears about some of the things all of them have been through and how they talk about those things so nonchalantly and she's like. 😳😳 i think y'all need therapy?? and they're all like. yeah probably but 🤪🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️🤪

-brainy is kinda wondering why they're all impressed with the ship and he's like. guys it's just a ship?? we've seen plenty of ships?? and then he finds out there's only the one bathroom and then he's like. And there's only one bathroom?? c'mon guys really?

-ava and brainy clash for a while and no one really knows quite why they just. seem to get on each other's nerves and they don't seem to like each other all that much. they're not like outright mean to each other or anything but they're just. their interactions aren't Warm, to say the least, and they kinda end up avoiding each other for the most part

Legends and Ava are in a X Over but all of them feel uncomfortable, full anxiety and not worthy because they can't compare to Sara's "real Superhero" friends.

thank you for the ask! hope you enjoy! also i do just wanna say that our ask box is still open and i will absolutely still take headcanon requests if anyone wants to send them! however with that being said, this will be the last crossover-related headcanon request that i will be answering for a while. i'd still be fine with like individual characters from the other teams making appearances in asks occasionally, but i do very much want a break from the big crossover asks. i'm getting a bit burnt out on them, and have little inspiration/ideas for them, so all i'll ask is that you refrain from those types of requests for the foreseeable future, unless/until i say otherwise. by the time this posts, i'll have updated our pinned post regarding asks to reflect this. thank you, and again, hope you enjoy! :)

-anytime there's a crossover and the legends are there, they're happy to be able to help and be included but it's definitely also awkward and kind of uncomfortable for them. they feel like the odd bunch out of the group. they're all kinda on edge and tiptoeing/walking on eggshells a bit and kinda subduing themselves around the other teams bc they're not quite sure what to do with themselves

-theyre so different from the other teams in the way they operate and how they do things and they all know the other teams have been like. ummm?? how would this possibly work?? at times when they've brought up a plan or idea so they're kinda just anxious and awkward about things and just generally unsure of their place

-it pains sara to see it play out because she loves her team/family so much and she hates seeing them so unsure of themselves in the presence of the other superteams, many of whom she also cares a lot about. she ends up pulling the legends aside at some point for a little group pep-talk type thing, like just reassures them about a lot of things and stuff, and that kinda helps but there's still awkwardness and anxiety floating about

-at one point the legends mess something up a bit, and it's not even something really major, but everyone is stressed from trying to save the world, and oliver kinda calls them on it/chews them out a bit, gets a bit short/frustrated with them. sara gets annoyed then, too, and she's like "hey. do not talk to my team like that" and then kinda drags oliver away to have a word in private where she then kinda chews him out a little bit, until oliver eventually concedes and is like "ok ok yes i get it, i'm sorry" and then sara makes him apologize to the rest of the team

-maybe after that, sara gets a bit injured during a fight, or something happens that shakes her a little bit (or. y'know. Both) and the legends can tell that she's both in pain from the injury and also dealing with/worrying about whatever it was that shook her, even if she's hiding it well from just about everyone else

-ava of course is concerned and checks in with her as much as she can, and definitely gets more protective of her, whether that be from whatever the threat to the world is, or from the other teams, if they try pushing her or whatever else. the rest of the legends also get protective of her, and Sara can't help but love them so much for it

-as soon as the threat is over and the world is safe and it's all said and done, sara keeps all the legends close, gives them like a huge group hug, and well. maybe. just Maybe they all somewhat-accidentally end up in a giant cuddle pile on the floor for awhile, and they're all so relieved and giddy from saving the world and it feels so good and they all just love each other so much
