Okay, follow-up to this, LWPA Camilraeda timeline:

- Raeda are teammates on team DEHW at Academy. *Insert modified pre-canon Raeda fics here*

- End up in Oz’s circle of trust, due to Eda’s Silver Eyes.

- Eda loses an eye due to Salem shenanigans, falls into a spiral, said spiral gets so bad she gets her Hunter license revoked. Raine tries to be there for her, but she pushes them away. They aren’t completely blameless either, as they begin excluding her from Oz business.

- Eventually, they break up.

- Eda moves to Menagerie, begins work as a robot/engineer/woodworker.

- Along the way, Eda ends up adopting King, a SEW baby she finds in a shipwreck. Runs to the nearest responsible adult for help.

- Said adult happens to be Camellia Nocedal, recently widowed mother of two (Luz & Violeta/Vee). 

- End up becoming friends, and become the kooky aunts to each other’s kids. 

- Then Luz gets it in her head to be a Huntress, and goes to Eda for training

- Camellia is understandably quite worried, especially with what she knows about Eda’s disbarment. This causes some initial friction, but it results in a heavy heart-to-heart where they end up really, really, connecting.

- So, Eda ends up training Luz and the Nocedals & Hawthornes end up even closer.

- It is between the beginning of this apprenticeship and Luz going off to Academy where they have the obligatory oh moments.

- Plus, they find each other extremely attractive.

- They end up even closer after Luz ships off to Beacon/Hexside wherever.

- Meanwhile, Raine’s been acting as this world’s Qrow Branwen, accidentally ends up as a mentor to Luz & her team LWPA. They only find out the Luz & Eda connection when Eda shows up to cheer her on during Vytal.

- Begin to reconnect, Eda’s feelings are partially rekindled, especially since they begin to clue her in on Salem/Ozpin stuff.

- Then the Fall happens, where Luz experiences the worst, non lethal parts of Ruby, Blake, & Pyrrha’s arcs, and falls into a trauma coma. Eda also falls comatose after using her SEW powers for the first time in nearly a decade stopping the Wyvern & fighting off Belos & Kikimora.

- Raine brings them back to Menagerie, have a serious talk with Camellia concerning the Oz/Salem stuff. End up really hitting it off, despite the *gestures at Oz/Salem stuff*.

- Then Tyrian & Hazel (or an equally threatening equivalent) come to call, hoping to kill Oz’s top agent, the interfering girl, and TWO Silver eyed warriors in one go.

- Raine, badass they are, manages to hold them off for a while (with help from the recovering Luz) but it overwhelmed and gets a nasty wound in the process.

- That’s where Camellia arrives with Hooty and enough transferable veterinary knowledge to keep Raine from bleeding out or dying of poison.

- Drive off the assassins, and Camellia ends up helping Raine as they’re nursed back to health, speedrunning the oh moments in the process.

- It is during the early stages where Luz leaves, alone, armed with what little she knows, her training, and a massive guilt complex bordering on suicidal ideation, for Mistral.

- And then Eda wakes up. It’s been a busy few weeks.

...And that’s all she wrote so far.

What would an RWBY AU of the Owl House be like? I already picked out a team name for Luz and co. LWPA (Lupa, meaning wolf) with Luz, Willow, Gus, and Amity.

Belos is definitely Salem's minion. A very competent minion that she greatly appreciates (think Cinder but with 50+ years of experience). He's been arranging her designs for quite the long while. Ozpin or whatever analogue he has is probably locked up by Belos so there's no secret society out to combat her. It's quite possibly the best position she's been in for millennia.

And Luz sends it off the rails in ways she could have never predicted.

Luz wouldn’t be complete without her team, so, presented in reverse order of acronym, team LWPA!

(Sorry Gus fans, he’s to young to attend Academy here, but he’s still got a role!)

Amity Blight

Colors: Lavender, Lilac, Brown

Hair Color: Brown (dyed Lavender, formerly Aquamarine)

Eye Color: Golden (Glow Purple while Semblance is in use)

Sexuality: Lesbian

Occupation: Huntress-in-training

Affiliation: Team LWPA, Blight family, Odalia Blight (formerly), Gus Porter

Weapon: Mittens-A pair of bracers that unfold into spiked gauntlets. Contain water jets & Dust containers. Additionally, she carries a waterskin and a container designed to carry & melt Ice Dust

Semblance: Hydrocoagulation-The ability to manipulate water on a molecular level. She can alter its state, shape it into different objects & even generate enough static to electrify it

Symbol: Purple gauntlet erupting from a lilac wave

Team: LWPA

Partner: Willow Park

Notes:

Her Semblance proved very hard to control. She’s basically working up from the smallest scale possible. Definition of ‘weak but skilled’.

Weiss allusions are in full effect during LWPA’s first few months, rebelled from parents, wants to be leader, butting heads with Willow & Hunter.

Sees a lot of herself in Darius when they finally meet, begins to look up to him. 

Smuggled her cat, Ghost, out of Atlas as well. Not allowed a pet indoors, so she’s hiding it.

Her older siblings (Aldric & Amira here) are an amateur mechanic and medical student, respectively

Willow Park

Age: 17

Colors: Emerald, Olive, Gold

Hair Color: Black (Green streaks dyed in)

Eye Color: Olive (Iris & Sclera turn completely green and glowing while controlling Semblance) 

Aura Color: Emerald

Species: Human

Sexuality: Biromantic Demisexual

Pronouns: She/Her

Kingdom: Atlas (formerly) Vale (Currently)

Occupation: Huntress in Training, Florist

Affiliation: Team LWPA, Gus Porter

Weapon: Breaker-Oversized collapsible sledgehammer that can use Dust as a propellant, explosive charge, or avenue for Semblance when loaded with Plant Dust

Semblance: Nurture-Can encourage explosive growth in any non Aura shielded material she applies sudden pressure to. Prefers to use it on plants & Plant Dust, but can do so inorganic material like stone or even metal. Experiments with Dust are ongoing

Symbol: Golden hammer leading to tree-like roots

Partner: Amity Blight

Notes:

Born and raised in Atlas as a middle class girl who attended Amity’s school on a scholarship. Canon relationship ensues.

Moved to Vale at age 12, became friends with underclassman Gus Porter

Her Semblance is incredibly strong, but she had trouble controlling it at first.

Half tempted to leave Amity behind when they turned out to be partners. Made peace with each other after Willow knocked Amity unconscious sparring.

I feel she’d definitely considered a Maiden candidate.

Hunter Wittebane

Colors: White, Gold, Scarlet

Hair Color: Ash Blond

Eye Color: Scarlet (Turn Gold when Semblance activates)

Aura Color: Scarlet (initially) Gold (Post Semblance)

Species: Artificial Soul contained in a synthetic body

Sexuality: Indeterminate

Occupation: Huntsman-in-training (officially), Spy

Affiliation: Willow Park, Gus Porter, Luz Noceda, Belos

Weapon: Brand-Halberd that converts into a long range, sniper rifle-esque ‘death ray’. Rocket boots.

Semblance: Embrace-Can mark a target and provide a nigh invincible one-hit shield, though it includes a very high Aura cost

Symbol: Red gemstone half circled by a white & gold wing.

Team: LWPA

Partner: Luz Noceda

Notes:

Knows he’s artificial here, cover story is that he has robotic legs from a Grimm attack that killed his parents.

Not sure why Belos calls himself Hunter’s uncle

Is told the Huntsman are a corrupt system, and he’s there to learn how to ‘police’ them.

Tried to be a loner, but Luz snapped and literally handcuffed to two of them together. It probably shouldn’t worked, but it did nonetheless.

Repaired and befriend a damaged drone bearing the signature “Flapjack”

RWBY/TOH AU: Luz Noceda

Name Etymology: Luz (Light in Spanish) Noceda (Surname derived from Nocedal, meaning a field of nut trees)

Colors: Dark Blue, Purple, Black

Hair Color: Brownish purple

Eye Color: Hazel (Flash Golden with Semblance)

Aura Color: Dark Blue

Species: Garden snake Faunus (forked tongue)

Sexuality: Bisexual

Pronouns: Mostly she/her, but accepts any pronouns

Kingdom: Menagerie

Occupation: Huntress-in-training

Affiliation: Team LWPA, Gus Porter, Eliora Hawthorne, Noceda family, King Hawthorne

Weapon: Skullbuster-Designed by both her & Eda, a bat that can shift into a rocket powered hoverboard, or extend into a staff that can emit fire or create ice constructs.

Semblance: Aurora-Luz can bend the light around her, allowing her to glow, create and detach orbs of light, either of which can be used to blind opponents, and eventually evolves into an active camo ability.

Symbol: Purple winged snake wrapped around a teal egg

Team: LWPA (Hunter Wittebane, Willow Park, Amity Blight)

Partner: I’m legitimately unsure

Amity: Classic reluctant partners to friends to lovers, plus V1 WhiteRose leadership conflict.

Hunter: The idea of them meeting like in “Hunting Palismen” will never not crack me up.

Notes:

Sorta based on Beta!Luz in appearance, but noticeably more muscular.

Still obsessed with the Good Huntress Azura series, and tales of the Grimm Reaper.

Vee is actually Luz’s identical twin in this AU, Violeta, but she has a snake tail instead of a tongue (don’t ask me to justify that, just roll with it)

Didn’t attend a formal prep school, everything she knows she either learned from Eda or taught herself.

Camila’s still a Vet, but she deals in wildlife rescue, while her father Lucio was a firefighter who died in a blaze.

I dunno, if/when Maiden Powers get involved here, she MIGHT end up being one. The irony here would be she’s completely over the idea of being any sort of Chosen One by that point.

RWBY/TOH Thoughts

Within the RWBY/TOH thing, the main team is called LWPA (Lupa) as inspired by this post by @aspiringwarriorlibrarian, with one major change. Gus isn’t part of the team, at least at first. He’s a prodigy, sure, but he’s still just a student at a Valean preparatory academy.

Sidenote: I do NOT need to change many names here, Owl House has a surprising amount of CNR compatible names.

Lilith’s a Raven

Eda & Lilith are twins here.

Dell’s a roboticist, specializes in the creation of floating servitor bots, including what he gave to his family.

Waffles, his lab assistant & maintenance drone

Flapjack, a scout drone

Hawksley, Gwendolyn’s defense drone

Mike Socks, Lilith’s scout & surveillance drone

Owlbert, Eliora’s repair drone

Gwendolyn has Huntress training, but is actually a zoologist, Hawksley is a defense mechanism.

The twins represent the two main facets of the Hawthorne Bush. Eda’s the red berries, while Lilith’s the white flowers.
