"I Want A Love That'll Last Forever" - Saturn in Synastry

When Saturn aspects personal planets in synastry, it creates a bond that's forged in fire in iron. This means that come hell or high water, y'all will always feel a deep unrelenting devotion to one another. It's always feeling a sense of reliability between each other or towards the person it affects more. Of course it takes more than the 'promise' of forever - There's commitment and diligence.

But Saturn aspects make it easier to stay the course for the long haul. Even harsh major aspects or confusing minor ones have a 'sticking' effect. Like, even if this person seems difficult, you still keep coming back to them or vice versa. Imo, this may result in feeling a comfort in the familiarity and security of a relationship opposed to who it's with. Squares and oppositions also suggest there's a fear or anxiety around commitment because of the looming 'what happens next?' that can contribute to someone projecting fears of being trapped or controlled and require their autonomy to be respected somewhere. But they're workable.

However, in my professional and personal experience, issues with Saturn directly point to deeply rooted hangups around how secure you felt around your parents and early childhood environment growing up. It can create a mistrust of those in a place of authority in our lives bc so&so wasn't there, was inconsistent, or we were neglected or in a way that makes us crave yet fear stability and security. It's wanting a stable and loving figure but we don't think we're worthy or ready for that because we either never had it or didn't receive it without it disappointing us. Children are meant to be held and consistently supported but not all of us had that. Sometimes our experiences with our caregivers were traumatizing or influenced us to think 'true stability' means we have to over-extend, over compromise, or hurt ourselves further to receive even a crumb of it. That fear can persist in relationships where nothing's seemingly wrong.

From a sociopolitical point of view, this can be an analogy for how because we exist in a constant state of scarcity, we approach relationships from a scarcity-mindset. They feel transactional, fleeting, and in lieu of Saturn--No one feels as if they quite have enough or are getting what they truly deserve.

Saturn in its exaltation in Libra tells us that true security is rich and abundant with plenty to go around but we have to remember it's not 'too perfect' (Libra) for us to receive consistently and at all. We must believe, like children, that we'll be endlessly provided for by the people we love. And that's a general Saturn lesson. If it's not around us, then we must believe it can be found elsewhere.

What does jack’s Margaret have to do with the eye theory?

back when taylor released the delicate music video in 2018 she got a lot of flack from the internet because people were making comparisons between the video and an ad from kenzo that had been in circulation. people were saying taylor was copying the ad and that her dancing in the delicate mv was a watered down version of the dancing in the kenzo ad.

in the kenzo ad, the woman is dressed in green and dances with abandon like nobody is watching, and at one point she jumps and breaks through a huge eye.

we connected it to the eye theory in the sense that maybe taylor was in fact paying homage to the ad but with blessings, as an eye theory easter egg. aside from the eye break symbolism, one part of the eye theory is this idea that taylor’s eyes are more blue and karlie’s eyes are more green, and so taylor wearing blue in the delicate mv and the woman wearing green in the kenzo ad worked with this.

anyway so, the woman in this ad just so happens to be margaret qualley! not that it means anything. it’s just funny!

Last Song: Cruel Summer. I have a confession to make....I am notorious for stubbornly rejecting trendy stuff/people/books etc just because they are trendy. Eventually I come around and jump on the bandwagon, at least with some things... deserving things...like Hunger Games or Taylor Swift. I will admit, I don't like the song Anti-Hero because they blasted the thing on the radio every fucking day non stop. The first time I heard it, a few lyrics hit me the wrong way and my kid was like, this song is a like a fever dream, I had to agree...but...besides that song and Teardrops on my Guitar, her music is actually good. I've come to the dark side, I'll admit it. I still can't listen to Teardrops to on my guitar because it came out the year before I had a really nasty breakup with my ex and his name is in the song. During my break up it was on every station, I swear...ugh... Moving on... Cruel Summer is actually epic...and well, I've been kind of on a fanfiction binge lately, was reading some Obikin and just had the epiphany that the song fits some messy modern au so well…

Favorite Color: blue and green. I love bright colors though, like the ones most people hate. Like bright neon green or burnt orange or that weird ochre yellow color. I don't wear said colors, I wear a lot of grey and black, but I like those colors for decorations.

Last TV Show: CSI Las Vegas. Hubs has been binging early seasons. Shrugs. I usually half pay attention half read. It makes him happy.

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: Savory. I love stuff like chips or fries. Beef jerky, cheese, etc. I have to watch it a bit, as too much salt is not good for my kidneys or blood pressure but everything in moderation. I love spicy when it's actually done right, like the amazing Chinese restaurant in NYC that had real Sichuan chili oil, so good. Or a good vindaloo curry. Sweet stuff is not really my thing. I stopped drinking anything with sugar (non alcoholic anyway) 3 years ago and now everything with a lot of sugar tastes too sweet. Except chocolate. Chocolate is always ok.

Relationship Status: Happily married. My husband just sent me the link to one of the black series Obi-Wan figures I don't have, telling me he took care of it 💖 He enables my obsession 😆 Nah but for real, he's the best for so many reasons.

Last Google: That was a whole odyssey…the doctor's office fax number so that my insurance could fax a confirmation of insurance for my son. His card was apparently expired and I spent the whole morning playing phone tag to get it sorted.
