I started watching a Turkish soap opera, because why not :D I caught about episode 3 on TV and now I’m on a binge. The protagonists are really adorable

And the supporting characters are a lot of fun. There is certain charm and lightheartedness about it, even though there is no shortage of melodrama. I mean, after all the point is mostly to see two people stumble their way into a happily ever after. So it is also very nerve-wracking. One step forward, three steps back. I find myself screaming at the TV Just kiss already every other episode. (Technically they already kissed but one was a dream and the other was a highly choreographed accidental lip touch, so I’m not counting those). I really hope they won’t pull a Sos mi vida, or wait with it till the last episode. 

I wonder whether shit will hit fan soon or if it will be this back-and-forth dance the whole time. Not sure what would be more frustrating. But so far the tempo is nice and I’m enjoying myself. Even though all the characters share exactly three braincells among them. And none of them for the protagonists. They are just clutching those candy hearts with Be Mine written on them. Can you tell I’m invested? Luckily their BFFs share one of them braincells so it’s not a complete disaster. I’m watching it dubbed and sometimes I have no fucking idea what they’re talking about and I’m not sure how much of it is the original writing and how much is just lost in translation. But as long as they give me these prolonged looks into each other eyes, that just go on and on and on and then a bit more, I’m good. 

And I’m also kinda obsessed with the title song.
