from what I saw, they didn't even bother to explain how or why the night warrior abandoned Tyrande during the fight with Sylvanas + they made a lot of unnecessary retcons (like Talanji being rescued from prison AFTER the entire Jaina arc in Kul Tiras) and mostly they just retold the cinematics from the game. Such a waste..
