#Take everything there with a graon of salt!

Okay so I'm not an expert and I've only ever trained my cats, but I would imagine if your goal is to have your pet lay on you, especially if they're already trying to help, you might have some luck with getting them there and then just... Giving them a bit of a treat? (Or a clicker noise if you use that method)
Depending on your state at the moment the dog would need to offer pressure someone who lives with you might have to do the actual training so you don't waste precious spoons trying to handle the treats and other such things
If your dog is attempting other methods it might be more complicated/more work, but if it's trying to help and stumbles into something that does help you (...may e other than a bite but more to avoid incurring anger from other people) I'd start by praising the shit out of them and go from there
I'm having a migraine right now so sorry if this is brain foggy.
Did you train Holly Mop to do the compressions and stuff? If yes, how?
My dog is trying to heal me with teeth acupuncture. It actually helped a lot when he squeezed my wrist.
Thank you for teaching me so much about health and having fluff version of book.
Ow, I’m sorry friend, I hope you feel better soon.
We actually didn't train Holly, she just started doing it. I can only think she was climbing on top of me for a cuddle and after numerous such cuddles, she realized laying on me helps lessen the Symptoms.
It's now her go-to when I’m blatantly unwell.
#Animals#dogs#AGAIN: NOT AN EXPERT#Take everything there with a graon of salt!#but positive reinforcement is how I get my cats to respond to commands like 'get down' or 'don't use your claws on me' so#i think it could work
