Día de Muertos, México The cemetery in Mixquic is one of the most recognized near Mexico City due to the fact the dia de muertos is celebrated in the traditional way.Over time many people will loose the real tradition of celebrating their dead. People gathered at night in the cemeteries to hold a vigil for their love ones. In the past, people stayed all night but currently this cemetery closes at 2am and people have to go home. This family like many others in the village of San Andrés Mixquic in Mexico City remember the souls of the deceased in the traditional way, which is important to teach new generations.
