sunday snippet

I was tagged by @voulezloux but only because I'm one of the few url's he has committed to memory lol. Okay, so the only wip I have right now is actually finished, but it won't be posted until Aug 24 oh shit that's coming up! Is that this week?? I just consulted a calendar...it's Saturday! Also, I do not remember what snippets I have given for this fic, but it's for @1dalphalouisfest and it is called Let the Feeling Last and I'm laughing because I forgot I titled it that. There's a whole story behind it that I won't get into here. Anyway, pig fic...

He ended up using grocery bags to carry half the popcorn out to Gareth’s pen. “What the fuck happened to you?” Gareth, who was covered in pink and purple splotches of color, ran over to see what Louis had in his bags, pushing his snout into one until Louis dumped them out onto the ground for him. He seemed to quite enjoy popcorn.  Louis scanned Gareth’s pen and found the gate pushed open. “How did you manage this?” A few hoof tracks showed the direction Gareth had been headed. Louis firmly closed the gate and headed off to see what Gareth had gotten into. Zayn’s half demolished berry bushes gave it away. Zayn was going to be pissed. Louis frowned and headed back to his pig. “Did you have to lay around in them? Don’t leave evidence behind! I thought pigs were supposed to be smart.”

I was tagged by @boosbabycakes28 (thank youuu!) to post a snippet from my wip. This is from my angsty, soulmates sickfic for @1domegaverseficfest

His stiff posture unchanged, Harry’s jaw twitched before he spoke. “I don’t know what you expect me to say. All is forgiven? Because it’s—.” Harry uncrossed his arms, his tote bag falling to the pavement. Even though this conversation was clearly not going in the direction Louis had hoped, he instinctively reached down to pick the bag off the ground.  “Nothing’s forgiven, Louis,” Harry snapped, snatching the bag from Louis’ grasp. His fingers brushed Louis’ for only a moment. “If you want to make anything better, just leave me alone.” The force that flowed through Louis’ fingers knocked him a bit sideways, causing him to stumble. At first he thought Harry had shoved him away, but in the next instant a burning pain seared up his arm. He clutched it in confusion, looking back at Harry as though for answers, but he’d already turned away from him.  Dread filled his heart. This had been the moment Louis had been waiting for all his life, his soulmate’s touch bonding them to one another forever. Louis can feel the bond, an invisible string between them tying its knot only to immediately be sliced through with Harry’s rejection of it.  “Sorry to bother you then,” Louis managed to croak out.
