It is kinda hard to explain š¤§ and drawing it's my hobby And I'm definitely still learning! but some things that help me when drawing anatomy is tracing screenshots from the source to break it down to it's basic shapes! Doing that a lot of times just kinda get's ingrained in your brain after a while and you also kinda can stylize it as you wish. And, talking about Miguel O'Hara in specific here, staring at his muscles for a while actually also helped LMAO

#i usually use pose references when drawings (be random pics from the internet or photos of myself but i kinda just went ham there)!#theres also a lot of resources nowadays for artists that are easily accessible! if you look into pdfs of anatomy for artists you will find#a lot of books!!!!#ehhh ALSO sketching loose poses from models or random people can help?#when i was younger i loved sketching ballerinas performances and just dancers in general! their poses are very fluid and usually the#costumes they wear accentuates their anatomy when they move so that too?#im also a taekwondo black belt so when younger i usually just sketched random fighting poses from my training lmao#im rambling at this point but i hope this all helps a little bit!!! remember to practice and have fun! :']#ask

So as youāve noticed Iāve been missing for a long time. I got a lateral release surgery done to my right knee and afterwards my leg atrophied. Iāve spent the better part of 2.5 years working on rebuilding my strength. Iām at about 80% now.
The goal was to get good enough to test for my fourth degree, and that was achieved last month! So now itās to keep working on the strength and hopefully get into the competitive sphere again :)

This style was developed by the Gracie family to change the judo style from using physical strength against your opponent but using techniques and positions for any person. Sparring or āRollingā situations can change if it is Gi or No Gi. #i miss taekwondo so much#and the guy who trained us is apparently still obsessed with me bc he keeps telling my friend who still goes there about my potential dhfgd#alas.... he had such high hopes for me and i dumped his classes and left to do a master's degree#in retrospect i think those few months were when i was at my most normal. i also made one of the stupidest decisions#of my life then but that's unrelated

My sister started back in Taekwondo with her wife and has a kicking paddle and apparently even while high and tipsy I still got kicks.
