Just found out about the existence of the pro wrestler Koguma (irl), and also Hanan, and they both remind me a lot of Tade (Koguma more so but Hanan has the smile and the pigtails- tho not as long as Tade's lol)

sharing bc i thought they might make decent refs for ppl wanting to draw Tade? but also i wondered if maybe kui was inspired by either of these wrestlers or someone like them lol (considering the ogre-sumo thing esp). of course its hard to say, easily could have but easily not, but idk i just wondered what you thought :)

Very cute! I don't know if Kui would have used pro wrestlers as inspiration (at least there's no indication of it as far as I can tell) but I can see the similarities! Maybe she referenced female athletes in a general sense?

I remember this one portrait of her where Kui mentions the "image of an idol from the 2000's" so that's probably the inspiration for Tade's cute side

I also think Kui herself makes great refs for Tade so I'll add them here too (under the cut cause partial nudity) Ogres have different proportions from irl humans which is pretty cool
