The release of IN FIRE FORETOLD will be between TWP1 and TWP2, what was the plan with Sword catcher in the past?

Actually it looks likely that the first Foretold book will be between WP2 and WP3. Sword Catcher 2 comes out in 2025, before any of those.

if janus takes clary there will be so many parallels to valentine taking jocelyn. not to mention both will have a son/son figure at home. but i do doubt that this would happen in early twp, or at least not tlkof because the tmi gang is separated from the original plot line. from what i’ve gathered, tlkof won’t be that crazy with different povs like tda

i really wonder if the black volume tec book will be about the janus situation or if it ends with them finding out about him and then some shit going down and that’s the spicy little cliffhanger before twp2

wish i had more info. i’m low key very frustrated with the whole kickstarter situation because we should have had the first chapter of tlkof by now 😐

First off, agree with the kickstarter situation. Before I get hated on, I know Cassandra is just one person. HOWEVER, the kickstarter was so expensive, even just the regular prices, and I can’t imagine how much shipping costed as well! I think the main problem is the lack of updates or even vague updates, I’m surprised we don’t have TLKOF by now especially since she’s been dropping TWP content left and right lately. And to quickly reiterate, people payed SO MUCH FOR THIS!! Really hoping these people are able to get it by the end of the month. Praying for all you kickstarter people!

Also, absolutely love the Janus and Clary parallel to Valentine and Jocelyn, I didn’t even think about that! Janus is such an interesting character and I’ll be honest I’d prefer a human main villain for TWP than a demon one. Absolutely hated the Belial plot for TLH, and it would have made more sense for Tatiana to be the overarching villain. Also not to mention, TDA and TMI (especially) have the best villains and none of them are demons! My #truth. Also yeah, I think the first TWP is going to be more mystery focused (at least the Kit and Ty plot). I can imagine that maybe Dru’s plot is more Faerie based! Also I think for TWP the first book POVs will be Dru, Ash, Kit and than probably other minor POVS (think Thais/Anush, maybe a Janus POV, possibly other characters). Although I have to say my truth, I prefer the first books mainly from one point view. Clockwork Angel, lady midnight and city of bones EATTTTT as first books.

Also I like TBVOTD being about the TMI gang finding out about Janus!! I always forget about TBVOTD.

Why do I feel like TWP2 will end with Kit being kidnapped/taken away?

A theory:

What if the events that Cassie said would cause the TMI gang to not be around would be what's happening during The Black Volume of the Dead?

Recently, while she announced The Secrets of Blackthorn Hall, she mentioned that in TWP the TMI gang won't be around, leading to their own story. However, since The Eldest Curses is Malec's story, and they are part of the TMI gang, I think that part will be contained with The Black Volume of the Dead. Right now, the TBVOTD is going to be published after TWP1, but before TWP2.

It's also interesting that Cassie confirmed Lucifer is going to be in The Wicked Powers (theory nation, how does that feel?) along with saying this about the TMI gang. If you have thoughts, feel free to add onto this.

I think ghost!livvy will disappear either in twp1 or twp2, I have absolutely nothing to support this idea, but I strongly think she will not make it to the last book the way she didn't make it to the last tda book omg it's a parallel, it's just a hunch that haunts me 😜

Atticus is not based on anyone in the AoT verse - he is an original character of mine. All of the new characters introduced in TWP: Arrival are my own OGs - I hope you enjoy reading about them! Without giving away too much, I’ll say that Atticus will have a larger role to play later in the story, and there *may* be some love interest/ conflict with Aya...  Stay tuned, as there will be more to come after TWP: Arrival 👀

ALMA, I AM SO CONFUSED. Clare said (she made a master post some time ago) that she'd publish the final TEC book after TWP1 and TWP1 after TLH3 and SC, so roughly fall 2022. That would mean TEC3 would come out in spring 2023 and TWP2 in fall 2023. But if she adds the Jemma novel (novels?) to the mix, meant as a precursor to TWP, then that would push TWP1 to spring 2023 and TEC3 to fall 2023? How is that feasible? +

+ What's worse, if she decides to publish TEC3 before TWP1, and keeps the Jemma novel as introduction to TWP, it would push TWP1 to fall 2023 -- and if there's another delay, potentially spring 2024? Thing is, while I do like Emma and don't mean to rush CC in any form, adding YET another book to the queue seems kind of a weird move? GOTSM made sense in terms of introducing new characters but TDA already served that purpose?

I remember that’s post and yes, you’re right... but look, she gave a rough timetable. Like, a really rough one. You can’t actually look at it as a solid fact. She can do pretty much whatever she wants since she never sold the series. She can publish it in 2030 if she wants 🤷🏽‍♀️

The good thing about a GOTSM kind of thing is that it’s not a book that has to be published... originally they were just stories that later came out as a book. So it doesn’t necessarily have to postpone TWP.

Though, you know... obsessing at this point is futile. There’s no new information and theorizing will give us nothing other than heartache and frustration 😔
