I only have one au at the moment really, and it's sorta nameless rn, but for now the name is villain!Kieran au

It's set a number of years after Indigo Disk, but is based on the simple what if? concept of: what if Kieran never turned around? (by that I mean, what if he didn't apologise or still felt awful after the events of Indigo Disk?)

Time passes, things change. The Blueberry elite four are now part of the Pokémon league in Unova, there's about to be a new champion, and there's a new evil team going by the name 'team eternity'. Kieran has been missing for a few years after running away, but who knows... maybe he'll show up again soon. (He will and he does he shows up again)

I can't talk suuuuper in depth about this au because right now it's underdeveloped and I may write a fic on it, howeverrrr I will be posting about it on and off in the coming weeks so. If you're interested in it keep an eye out abjdhfj, I'll tag it all as villain!kieran for now until I give it a real name

I'll also show this again while I'm here. I wanted to say; his outfit is all purple/pink, but the hood is a mid-length green cloak. He'd also wear a mask to hide his identity, he is hiding after all.

And for an extra sweet little tease; he has a paradox zoroark as a partner/ace, named Iron Shift.

Wait- is erlang planning something? Isnt he supposed to be bad guy in jttw for burning ffm? is he gonna over throw wukong secretly or something, or cause drama between wukong and Mac? I don't get why macaque forgave him so easily in the comic?

The only bad thing Erlang did was burn FFM, other than that mans didn’t do anything else

He actually becomes a sworn brother to Wukong at some point in jttw, they’re on friendly terms

Mac is still somewhat salty about the burning but he 1) understand the Jade Emperor commanded Erlang burn the island and no one can disobey the Emperor, and 2) he acknowledges that Erlang could’ve done way worse than just burn FFM but he decided not to, because he knew it wasn’t right, that the whole thing was wrong but he still had to do something per the Emperor’s demands

He understands the guy and I think that’s all one needs to realize about this whole thing. Heaven’s punishments aren’t causal things, all things considered FFM got off easy, Heaven could have killed everyone if they so wished.

How is Kieran a villain?

I talked about it a little here before, but re-reading the post it really isn't clear. The plot is actually decided on now so I can better explain;

Kieran runs away to Castelia city rather than return to Kitakami after the events at area zero, only telling others that he's taking a break from school. He regrets this after only a day (especially after battling two grunts of an evil team, known as Team Eternity) and decides to go home after meeting an especially-sweet zorua that comforts him.

However, he's stopped in his tracks on the way back to the airport by more grunts– then more, and more– until two people appear in front of him, stepping out of the shadow to reveal their identities.

It's his parents! And they take him in from there. Thus, leaving everyone at Blueberry, Florian and Juliana, and of course his sister Carmine, to wonder where he's gone. Seemingly, he's vanished.

Five years later, Kieran is leader of Team Eternity.

His parents are very much not-good people and severely messed up his head, and idk if I'd really call him a villain because it's not like he's pure evil... definitely an antagonist, though. He's just a human in the end going through a lot of shit. Still, it's fun to play with the idea...

This au will have a better name eventually, but for now this is it lmao. I can't give too much away (I'm already spoiling details posting this) but I think this is a better way to summarise the au without getting too into it
