TSM to TS3 Conversion of Random Medieval Garments

A TSM to TS3 conversion compilation of several previously unconverted clothes for all your Sims! I finished this project about two months ago but wanted to save it for a special occasion... and what's more special than a followers' gift? lol. Hope you like it!

Based on my testing, I haven't found any issues with the clothes. They mostly use the same bone assignment system, and the only difference is how TSM handles skirts, which I adapted for TS3. If you come across anything, please let me know!

* Note that teens and elders have neck gaps. This is sadly the price for having them available! For teens, try using this and this slider by gruesim! I might convert these for those specific age groups someday, but for now, I just activated them!

NOTES (PLEASE READ):

As mentioned before, April played a significant role in this project, not only with her support but also with her contributions! The Commoner White Dress was primarily converted by her, and it comes in two versions: the regular one and one with a floor-length skirt! She also added extra presets to certain clothes, such as the Flowing Dress (purple), which has three lace variations! Once again, thank you, April!

IMPORTANT: Except for the burned pajamas for female Sims, you'll need to use the invisible shoes mesh by @danjaley​​, which you can find here! This is because TSM clothes have feet/shoes attached to them!

In the "Making Sims 3 Medieval" server, I saw an idea for making the Altar Necklace outfit (the one with the cross necklace and purple details) more historically accurate, along with directions on how to do it! So, for those who enjoy super realistic medieval gameplay, I included an edit aiming to achieve that, as shown in the preview! It's only available for male Sims. Hope you enjoy it!

The polycount for all the clothes is relatively low, as they were made similar to TS3's clothes. So don't worry about that and use them without hesitation!

All the clothes have 3-4 recolorable channels! They have many overlays, but I hope that won't bother you because I made everything I wanted to recolor recolorable!

These conversions have a different thumbnail style! I wanted to retain the original TSM thumbnails but added my logo to let you know these are mine! Here's an example thumbnail + the collaborative dress between me and April:

TSM to TS3 Nobleman Outfit conversion part 3

I teased this outfit back in October... Now I’m finally uploading it because I’ve found a way to fix bone assignments that everyone else probably knew about already lol. This outfit is decidedly not medieval, but it doesn’t make it less good.

The outfit is enabled for everyday, formalwear and career, and it has all morphs including the paternity morph. Polycount is gameplay-friendly, and it needs invisible shoes (imagine if one day I upload an outfit that doesn’t need invisible shoes... now that would’ve been a plot twist lol). If the outfit is behaving out of line, please let me know, I’ll find a way to bully it into working properly.

I am really having a shit time finding rococo and baroque conversions for TS3 males and children (women are fine) to the point I keep feeling like I might have to call off the challenge until I find some suitable stuff... 2 Cooking Cauldrons

This miniset includes two functional cooking cauldrons using the AMAZING new cooking mod by @spherefish​ over at MTS (which is REQUIRED for these to work).

TSM to TS3 Physician Fireplace REDONE

The Physician’s cauldron is basically a quick mesh edit I did of the one Spherefish made at MTS, removing all of the bulky masonry and lengthening the chain, so we just have a nice and simple cauldron for all your bubbling and brewing needs.

It’s fully recolorable, found under Appliances. (It doesn’t conflict with the original BTW, you can have mine and Spherefish’s at the same time.)

EA Magic Cauldron

Spherefish’s mod is such a godsend for me, cuz I’ve ALWAYS wanted the cauldrons to actually be a functional Appliance for more than just magic. (I really wish we could use them like TS4′s, where we can do spells AND cook with them, but oh well.)

You DO NOT need EA’s Magic cauldron for this one to show up in game. You can tell them apart cuz EA’s magic cauldron has the clear liquid inside, and the recolor channels are different.

I also added a few different variations, with gruel and guts, with 1 recolorable one too:

I made a website!

Now you've probably seen the attempt before, people getting mad at tumblr and then making a 'Simblr' (Tumblr clone). Though, despite tumblr being sometimes a bit frustrating because of their changes, that's not why this site came to be...

I wanted a place where Storytellers, Creators, and just generic sim players can all be together and get the exposure and fun that they deserve.

Not only that, but also for a place where the TSM community and TS1 can belong somewhere too without the use of a forum.

And eventually, I hope we can make it the home for Life by you and Paralives when that comes out :)

Plus, it's also NSFW friendly! While the site is initially PG-13, we've got tags and profile settings that allow you to browse NSFW items as well.

What can I find on Simblr.cc exactly?

Mods

I've specifically made filters for different games, and their needs in mind. For example, for TS2 there are so many awesome game fixes out there and clean templates, that you'll be able to navigate and find this easily.

Not only that, items can also be put in multiple categories! Especially great if you've uploaded a set!

You can also find Testers wanted only mods here if you feel like helping out fellow simmers with testing!

NOTE:

Mods do go through a "queue", but not in the same way as you may have experienced on MTS or TSR. I merely check if it's flagged as NSFW correctly, and then it's good to go! :) So the waiting time will be much less!

It's really difficult to find new Sim stories or Legacies on Tumblr, let alone for these writers to get people to read their awesome stories! Hopefully this should make the process much easier now!

What about moderation?

While there's a report system in place, and the items in the queue are checked for NSFW, but users could still turn their non-NSFW to a NSFW, items may be stolen. So do report these as that will never be condoned!

Additionally, all comments you get on your mods, story, etc. Those are primarily moderated by you. You can delete them, you can turn comments off even if you'd like. If things really go wrong, you can always ask an admin.

THE SIMS 3 TO MEDIEVAL DRESSES CONVERSION

color wheel and body morph compatibles, In order to unlock all clothing for ur heroes u need to either use "TestingCheatsEnabled on" in game and then "DisableClothingFilter on" OR edit the commands.ini file that u can find in "The Sims Medieval\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Ini" REPLACING THE 0 WITH 1 TO ACTIVATE IT

u can also use a cmar mod, that lets u pick the option " get undressed" or "get dressed", if u have issues seeing the clothes in game after cas, which u can grab here: Download - MEGA

Medieval Hose Pants - Updated & improved

Basic medieval hosepants (legwear) - now for all ages, many swatches.

Yes, these have shoes and yes, the necks do match up with the heads. No, there are no morphs. Can't figure out how to make morphs work so your sims will have to be average weight if you don't want a neck seam. Enjoy! I've got lots more coming!

Known Problems:

The capes clip with the arms when the sim moves their arms back a lot. Apparently TSM has some bones that ts3 does not, and the capes work fine there, but on ts3 they don’t work as intended lol. But I did my best and think these are the best results!

IMPORTANT: I decided to make a new thumbnail style for these TSM conversions, as seen at the bottom of the previews, because there isn’t really a way for me to take screenshots of them in Blender since they don’t have presets like ts4′s cc, and because they already have thumbnails attached to them I decided to re-use them! Hope you’re all okay with that!

The outfit with the fur coat has 6 presets, all courtesy of @aprilrainsimblr​, with different jewel colors and masks! I hope you enjoy them!

TSM to TS3 Commoner Outfit conversion part 1

Or, alternatively, my designated Beefcake Blacksmith™ outfit. It’s a very neutral and versatile outfit for your peasants and craftsmen, and it’s actually quite low-poly for a full-body outfit with shoes and 3D laces, so the NPCs in your town can rejoice 😄

The outfit is enabled for everyday, formalwear, athletic and career, it has all morphs including the dad morph, and the shape has been adjusted to fit TS3 body more closely. The shoes are part of the outfit, so you’ll need these for it to work properly. I’m sorry for hyping you up with the ‘part 1′ in the title since my next upload will be an outfit for noblemen but I have more peasant clothes in the working.
