actually, might add an AU where i change the events of phantom menace slightly so that maul still kills qui-gon, but he never fights obi-wan (maybe qui-gon told obi-wan to leave naboo with anakin to get him to safety? idk, it's an AU so the details aren't hugely important tbh) which, in the big scheme of things, doesn't change much except maul would still be allied with palps and carrying out his orders and so on
#idk how things would work with dooku (and grievous) if maul hadn't been presumed dead in TPM#maybe they could have a mini dark council (grievous probably wouldn't be officially included but he might be present still)#i also honestly don't think it would be???? completely out of the question for palps to have two apprentices at the same time??#like from sheev's point of view he's obviously planning on them both dying at some point because his plan was always to have vader#as his “true” apprentice anyway#which is sort of related to why plagueis allowed sheev to take on maul as his apprentice. he was a tool not a real “apprentice” and thus#the rule of two wasn't broken so like... idk the same mentality could apply in this AU#(not that i think sheev genuinely cared about the rule of two... he introduced so much of the sith ideology into the empire anyway that#even if he upheld the rule of two it wouldn't matter because there as so much infighting in the empire between the non force sensitives)#not to mention the fucking inquisitors................... LIKE I REALLY DON'T THINK PALPS CARED or gave a shit about the ideologies of the#sith and empire at all.... he was just in it for himself and the ideologies served only as tools to further himself

The Importance of TPMS in Winter Driving: Stay Safe on Icy Roads
Underinflated tires compound this problem by increasing rolling resistance, making your engine work harder to move the car. TPMS relearn tools help by ensuring your tires are at the right pressure, which minimizes rolling resistance and, in turn, helps you save fuel. While this may seem like a small factor in winter driving, every bit of efficiency can add up over the course of a season.

2023 Autel MaxiTPMS TS508WF Wifi TPMS programming tool the function upgrade is mainly in the following aspects:
TWO TPMS SERVICE MODES
The Autel MaxiTPMS TS508WF is a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) tool that supports two TPMS service modes: the TPMS relearn mode and the TPMS sensor programming mode.
The TPMS relearn mode is used to reprogram the TPMS sensors after they have been replaced, rotated, or serviced. In this mode, the TS508WF tool communicates with the vehicle's onboard computer to reset the TPMS system and teach it the new sensor positions. The TPMS relearn mode typically requires the user to follow specific steps outlined in the vehicle's owner's manual, such as driving the vehicle at a certain speed or pressing a reset button.
The TPMS sensor programming mode is used to program new TPMS sensors or replace faulty ones. In this mode, the TS508WF tool can program new sensors with their unique ID codes, as well as adjust the tire pressure threshold settings for each wheel. The TPMS sensor programming mode typically requires the user to input the vehicle's make, model, and year, as well as the specific sensor type being installed.
QUICK MODE / ADVANCED MODE COMPARISON
The Autel MaxiTPMS TS508WF tool offers two modes of operation: the Quick Mode and the Advanced Mode. Here are the main differences between the two:
User Interface:
The Quick Mode has a simplified user interface that provides basic TPMS functions such as reading, diagnosing, and clearing TPMS codes. On the other hand, the Advanced Mode has a more comprehensive user interface that provides access to advanced TPMS functions such as programming and relearning TPMS sensors.
TPMS Functions:
The Quick Mode is designed for basic TPMS functions, such as reading and clearing TPMS codes, and displaying tire pressure and temperature data. The Advanced Mode provides more advanced TPMS functions such as sensor programming, sensor testing, and relearning.
Vehicle Coverage:
Both modes support a wide range of vehicle makes and models, but the Advanced Mode typically provides greater vehicle coverage and allows for more in-depth TPMS diagnosis and repair.
Update and Support:
Both modes are supported by Autel's frequent software updates, but the Advanced Mode may require more frequent updates due to its more advanced features.
User Level:
The Quick Mode is designed for entry-level users who need basic TPMS functions, while the Advanced Mode is designed for experienced technicians who require more advanced TPMS features.
EXCLUSIVE TPMS STATUS SCREEN
The Autel TS508WF tool features an exclusive TPMS Status Screen that provides users with a quick and easy way to view the status of all TPMS sensors in a vehicle. This feature helps to quickly identify any issues with the TPMS system and diagnose problems in a timely manner.
The TPMS Status Screen displays several key pieces of information, including the sensor ID, tire pressure, battery life, and sensor location. It also shows the temperature of each tire and the status of the TPMS warning light. Users can easily scroll through each tire to view its current status, allowing them to quickly identify any issues that need attention.
One of the most useful features of the TPMS Status Screen is its ability to display live data for each sensor. This means that users can view real-time data for each tire, such as tire pressure and temperature, as they drive. This helps to identify any issues that may arise while the vehicle is in use, allowing for quick diagnosis and repair.
FOUR MX-SENSOR PROGRAMMING OPTIONS
The Autel MaxiTPMS TS508WF tool offers four different MX-Sensor programming options:
Copy by Activation: This option allows users to copy the original TPMS sensor data to a new MX-Sensor. This is useful when a vehicle has one or more sensors that are faulty or have been damaged, but the original sensor data is still available.
Copy by OBD: This option allows users to copy the TPMS sensor data directly from the vehicle's onboard computer to a new MX-Sensor. This is useful when the original sensor data is not available or has been lost.
Auto Create: This option allows users to automatically create a new MX-Sensor based on the vehicle's make, model, and year. This is useful when a vehicle has a missing or non-functioning TPMS sensor, and the user does not have access to the original sensor data.
Manual Create: This option allows users to manually input the TPMS sensor data into a new MX-Sensor. This is useful when the original sensor data is not available or has been lost, and the Auto Create option is not accurate or sufficient.
Whether you're a DIYer or a professional technician, the Autel MaxiTPMS TS508WF tool offers an excellent solution for TPMS diagnosis and repair.

Thinking about missed opportunities in the "Star Wars" prequel trilogy again: it's weird with hindsight that Count Dooku doesn't appear in "The Phantom Menace".
Dooku was a Jedi, so it's perfectly reasonable for him to be at either the Jedi Temple or the Republic Senate when we visit Coruscant in TPM. It would have been easy to move a few things around and include him even as a member of the Jedi Council when initially constructing the films, if you were planning ahead when writing.
As Qui-Gon's former master, Dooku is in the perfect position to ask questions onscreen about Qui-Gon's conviction that he's found the Chosen One and Qui-Gon's decision to put Obi-Wan up for knighthood, both publicly with the Council and privately from a more personal standpoint. Dooku could be used as a tool of interrogation to better lay clear for the audience some of Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Anakin's characters, their motivations and fears and their potential flaws. An intimate conversation with his master's master could definitely be used to give Obi-Wan some much-needed character focus and interiority before his climatic fight with Darth Maul.
As the future leader of the Separatists, this is also the ideal point in time to have Dooku act as a voice of criticism, someone who laments both the greed of the Trade Federation and the inaction of the Republic. Dooku could have easily been the representative of the Jedi in the Senate, watching everything, offering grandfatherly sympathy to Padmé Amidala, remarking on the effectiveness of unrestrained power, perhaps even making a warning observation of the dangers of that as Palpatine becomes the new Chancellor. We don't have to see Palpatine and Dooku interact directly, the film could even suggest that Dooku finds this ambitious politician slightly distasteful, but it sets up an explanation for how these two might know each other.
And if we have reason to know and like Master Dooku, then it would actually hurt more when he becomes Count Dooku and betrays both the Jedi Order and the Republic. Even briefly, we could have seen him show frustrated affection and concern for Qui-Gon, give warm advice and praise to Obi-Wan, stand up firmly against the unfairness of the Jedi Council saying Anakin is too old at nine years old. We could have seen Dooku support Padmé in her struggles to make the corrupt Republic take action. We could have seen him as dignified and wise, perhaps one of the only members of the Jedi Council to immediately take the return of the Sith 100% seriously after Maul appears on Tatooine. We could have been made to feel like this experienced, slightly embittered, but righteous older man was the only one "speaking the truth" here.
It really wouldn't have taken all that much shuffling and reassignment plotwise to add him in as a supporting character.
We would feel intrigued at the beginning of "Attack of Clones" when we learn that Count Dooku has left the Jedi Order after Qui-Gon's death. We could see Anakin and Obi-Wan briefly exchange lines about how they miss Master Dooku as well as Qui-Gon (there is already an exchange in the films where they state they miss Qui-Gon), and how they haven't seen or heard from him in some time now. Anakin could suggest that Dooku is hunting down the Sith Master; Obi-Wan could counter with how Master Dooku has simply returned to his life on Serenno, which he couldn't have as a Jedi Master, which Anakin casually calls unfair and he suggests that Dooku can do far greater good as a powerful count (a parallel to Anakin's marriage to Padmé and own Fall). Dooku being established earlier in the trilogy would better highlight how he and Obi-Wan went completely separate directions after Qui-Gon's death.
And again, the reveal that Dooku has Fallen would hurt so much more, if we had actually seen him be affectionate and righteous and wise. If we had any point of comparison for how Dooku's embittered desire for peace and justice has been warped into the pursuit of control and tyranny. It would hurt to see that formerly good man sentence Padmé to death as "just politics, my dear".
"This will start a war!" Padmé tells the man who helped her help her people once.
"I know," Dooku replies, with ominous satisfaction.
It would hurt to see Obi-Wan beg Dooku to stop this (a prelude to him begging Anakin in the next movie: "Anakin, please, I cannot lose you too!"), only for Dooku to attack and nearly kill him when Obi-Wan refuses to join him. It would hurt to see this grandfatherly figure cut off Anakin's hand, someone he knew and was kind to as a child. Seeing where Dooku fell from would also make everything about his fight with Yoda hurt more as well. We wouldn't have seen Dooku's struggles directly, offscreen in the time skip between TPM and AOTC, but this Fall would help prepare us for witnessing Anakin's Fall onscreen in "Revenge of the Sith", illustrate for us how power and grief corrupts, how the desire to take complete control and "start over" corrupts.
And all of this would also make Dooku's death in ROTS hurt more: to see Anakin execute an unarmed, injured man who had once been kind to him, who had once had good intentions a long, long time ago. We could have even had Dooku perhaps try to warn Anakin about Sidious, as the fear cuts through him as he realizes Sidious has betrayed him, only for Anakin to kill Dooku out of anger (Dooku is responsible for so much death, Palpatine reminds Anakin) just before the ruined man can finish speaking. Dooku's former goodness underlines Anakin's arrogance in thinking that his own fate will be any different.
The novelizations of the prequel films and other extended universe materials build up an image of Dooku's life as a Jedi and his Fall for us. We can assume and imagine a lot. We can retroactively apply knowledge gleaned from "The Clone Wars" with Dooku as a major villain. But ultimately, Dooku as a more sympathetic and emotionally relevant character is just not in the films.
When "Attack of the Clones" reveals to us: "Oh, no! Dooku has betrayed the Jedi Order and the Republic!" I think that most of the audience is like: "Gonna be real with you, chief, I have no idea who that is."
He's only been mentioned before once maybe? In Palpatine's office? Master Mundi assures Palpatine that Dooku is a good man (or something like that), but we have seen no evidence of this ourselves. This line mostly just becomes really funny on a rewatch, rather than poignant, because the prequel films audience only ever gets to see Count Dooku as a Sith Lord and rather underdeveloped villain. We don't ever get to see him be a "good guy" first. We're told but not shown.
The audience has no solid reason to care that Dooku specifically has betrayed the Order, as opposed to any random Jedi, because we haven't seen him before at all, much less interacting with any of our protagonists or establishing himself as an opinionated player within the story. Which is a shame! Because he has strong opinions that stand in interesting ideological conflict with so many other characters, generating fun and dramatic exchanges! He has direct connections to and parallels with other characters! He's potentially a really useful storytelling tool within these films, and his character just doesn't get used to that full tragic potential.
In conclusion...? I wish I'd actually been sad when Dooku betrayed everyone and died at Anakin's hand, instead of mostly just confused and then vaguely pitying. I want to see some of the love between characters beforehand, so that it hurts more effectively when that love turns to hate.

Have YOU got an old Windows PC Microsoft has told you can't run Windows 11? It's time to give it a new life!
How to install Windows 11 on unsupported PC Hardware using Rufus. You can also disable some other Windows 11 bullshit like data harvesting and needing a Microsoft account.
It has been in the news a lot lately that Windows 11 isn't allowed to be installed on PCs without certain requirements, including the TPM 2.0, a chip that was only included in PCs made in 2018 or later. This means that once Windows 10 stops receiving security updates, those PCs will not be able to (officially) run a safe, updated version of Windows anymore. This has led to an estimated 240 million PCs bound for the landfill. Thanks Microsoft! I get you don't want to be seen as the insecure one, but creating this much waste can't be the solution.
(I know nerds, Linux is a thing. I love you but we are not having that conversation. If you want to use Linux on an old PC you are already doing it and you don't need to tell me about it. People need Windows for all sorts of reasons that Linux won't cut.)
So lately I have been helping some under privileged teens get set up with PCs. Their school was giving away their old lab computers, and these kids would usually have no chance to afford even a basic computer. They had their hard drives pulled so I have been setting them up with SSDs, but the question was, what to do about the operating system? So I looked into it and I found out there IS actually a way to bypass Microsoft's system requirement and put Windows 11 on PCs as old as 2010.
You will need: Rufus: An open source ISO burning tool.
A Windows 11 ISO: Available from Microsoft.
A USB Flash Drive, at least 16GB.
A working PC to make the ISO, and a PC from 2018 or older you want to install Windows 11 on.
Here is the guide I used, but I will put it in my own words as well.
Download your Windows 11 ISO, and plug in your USB drive. It will be erased, so don't have anything valuable on it. Run Rufus, select your USB drive in the Device window, and select your Windows 11 ISO with the Select button. (There is supposed to be a feature in Rufus to download your ISO but I couldn't get it to work.?
Choose standard windows installation, and follow the screenshot for your settings. Once you are done that, press Start, and then the magic happens. Another window pops up allowing you to remove the system requirements, the need for a microsoft account, and turn off data collecting. Just click the options you want, and press ok to write your iso to a drive.
From there you just need to use the USB drive to install windows. I won't go into details here, but here are some resources if you don't know how to do it.
Boot your PC from a USB Drive
Install Windows 11 from USB Drive
If you had a licensed copy of Windows 10, Windows 11 will already be licensed. If you don't, then perhaps you can use some kind of... Activation Scripts for Microsoft software, that will allow you to activate them. Of course I cannot link such tools here. So there you go, now you can save a PC made from before 2018 from the landfill, and maybe give it to a deserving teen in the process. The more we can extend the lives of technology and keep it out of the trash, the better.
Additional note: This removes the requirement for having 4GB Minimum of RAM, but I think that requirement should honestly be higher. Windows 11 will be unusable slow on any system with below 8GB of RAM. 8GB is the minimum I think you should have before trying this but it still really not enough for modern use outside of light web and office work. I wouldn't recommend trying this on anything with 4GB or less. I am honestly shocked they are still selling brand new Windows 11 PCs with 4GB of ram. If you're not sure how much RAM you have, you can find out in the performance tab of Task Manager in Windows, if you click the More Details icon on the bottom right. If you don't have enough, RAM for old systems is super cheap and widely available so it would definitely be worth upgrading if you have a ram starved machine you'd like to give a new life.

Tony Stark & Natasha Romanova, now in Star Wars
IDK if you folks were ever MEGA into crossovers but did you ever engage with the kind that can more or less be summarized as "isekai but the person 'hit by truck-kun' is a character from a different canon?"
Because that's what this is.
Tony Stark isekai'd into Star Wars (random planet) after dying in Endgame. He knows the movies, but not the supplemental material, as even by the time TPM came out, he was thirty and fucked up and making a name for himself in war. Bad times.
Tony wakes up sixteen and with Nothing to his name but his skills. He does not speak the language. Mostly gets by doing shit like skinning potatoes for a kitchen and pulling weeds and whatnot while he catches up on Basic. (He is apparently fluent, or at least conversational, in French, Spanish, Italian, Latin, and Dari. So Basic would be his Seventh language, and while four of those can be lumped into 'if you learn one, the next will be easier,' Dari is wildly unrelated, so I'd say he could pick up Basic a bit faster than average, especially with 16yo brain elasticity.)
A toddler, two years old with intensely red hair, runs into his shins one day and yells his name very clearly. He looks down, is a little confused, and then a nearby carer from an orphanage jogs up yelling "Nat!" The toddler is Natasha Romanoff. She remembers everything, including dying, but is about twenty-five pounds soaking wet and NOBODY will take her seriously.
It takes some… effort, to explain the situation to the carer. Yes, Tony knows Nat. He worked with uh…. her 'older brother, a man named Clint.' Tony does not currently have the resources for anyone to legally give him custody of a toddler but he's got some motivation to secure housing and a stable income.
He does that. Gets Natasha with him because of course he has to do that. It's the one person he knows. It's Nat.
Turns out she's Force Sensitive, though. A 'natural extension' of her more skillgrinding abilities to read/manipulate people. Tony is not Force Sensitive but he DID recently have a medical episode that took him to a thankfully-government-funded clinic that informed him he has a Bad Heart and will require a pacemaker despite being seventeen.
A Jedi finds Nat while passing through and they Discuss Their Options. This is when Nat is about four. There is a heavy discussion about how her mind is older than her body, so the Jedi would need to be ready for that, but also Tony needs to discuss this with Nat, who was like thirty-nine(?) when she died and thus more than capable of making her own decisions.
Despite fandom generally painting Tony as the most selfish of the Avengers and Natasha as the most coldly practical, they are still heroes who put in some Fucking Effort to become better people, and they come to the conclusion that Natasha would do much more to help this galaxy as a Jedi than as some kid in poverty on a no-name planet. So off she goes!
She's like five years younger than Obi-Wan, the story reveals.
Tony is a bit aimless and the work he's BEEN doing (probably laying down electrical lines or something at this point, IDK, he got into construction or something) gets sideswept by Damage To A Tool. He knows how to fix the tool, but he does not have a forge.
There is a forge in town. He goes to it and says that he can't afford to ask to have it fixed, but he knows how to do it himself, so could he borrow access for a small fee?
This is a Mandalorian armorer. They say no. In fact, they tell him, that would be significantly more expensive than just getting it fixed.
Buuuuuuuuuut for Reasons, the armorer decides that Tony (now 18-19 physically) can do it so long as the Armorer supervises. Tony is competent Enough that the Armorer gives him a datapad and tells him to read it and come back in a week to discuss the topic. Tony warns that Basic is far from his first language and he doesn't have a whole lot of free time, so he probably won't have read it by then. That's fine, they'll just discuss what he has read.
It's about Mando culture, in a mildly propaganda-y way, and Tony comes back to Argue About Religion more than anything. He thinks the Armorer is proselytizing, which they kind of are, but they are also more than happy to discuss the lines between the Mando culture as ethnicity and culture and religion and so on.
This becomes a regular occurence. Tony has made A Friend who has started offering him a side gig doing Basic Village Blacksmith Work that the Armorer deems too menial, like "horse"shoes.
Tony is offered an apprenticeship that he did not expect, on the condition of Becoming Mandalorian.
This is. A heavy decision.
However. Tony is a guy who is at least partly defined by his cool armor. Mandalorians are defined by their cool armor. He has been told, several times, that there are multiple ways to be a Mandalorian. So he accepts, because he decides it's worth for the chance to be somebody who can make a difference in a way he currently can't.
Ten years later, 'Initiate Romanova' goes up to Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon as they prepare to leave, and neatly informs them that she has a feeling they are going to have a Bad Time on their mission in Mandalore, and that if they need emergency shelter from enemies, to go to an Armorer by the name of Tony Stark, because that's her brother so she knows that he's going to be friendly to Jedi. (Tony has sent her a small handful of messages, through channels both official and not, about big life events.)
Of course, shit hits the fan and the two plus Satine end up finding Tony's forge and he hides them in his Underground Bunker, which actually has a tunnel to a cave system that is safer than the bunker itself. Because reasons. (IN A CAVE. WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS.)
He has helper droids! They are named indirectly after friends from the Past Life, things like Spangles.
On their way back after the mission they swing by to say hi and he asks them to bring something to Natasha and it's a matryoshka doll set he made based on the Avengers (it goes based on age so the outermost is Thor, followed by I think Bruce, Rhodey, Tony, Clint, Natasha, Steve, Sam, Wanda, Vision), as well as a plushie he had custom made by somebody in town of a Bird With Archery Gear, even though she's too old for that stuff.
Even among the Jedi, Natasha is WEIRD and SERIOUS and everyone's pretty damn sure she's going to be a Shadow, or at least do a HECK of a lot of undercover work.
IDK how this plays out but Tony is definitely keeping an eye on politics so he can figure out the Palpatine rise to power and remind Natasha in case she's forgotten because when they first split they didn't, either of them, know what to expect in regards to her memory given the whole Baby Brain issue.
"Why is Tony an Armorer"
Okay some more thoughts!
I think Tony's aggressively atheist and consistently watching whoever claims to be Mand'alor with a critical eye in case he has to step in, and does not take any references to ka'ra with any real seriousness. That said. He's an Armorer now. A weird one who refuses like half his clients for Ethics Reasons, but technically a cultural authority figure who's allowed to argue with the Mand’alor.
@penpalpixie:
fsr the initial meeting scenario with the armorer bugs me,like would they really just let him" but tbf Tony knows how to steamroll people and could probably dissect the forge in an instant.
Which, yeah, in my defense, I put this together in about two hours so some of it's a bit wonk? BUT. @threebea had a good suggestion for how/why the Armorer had Tony actually do things in the forge instead of telling him to scram:
Maybe Tony has been doing some 'crafting' on the side maybe droid repairs or modifications which is how the Armorer first sort of hears about him and then one day there's the kid that people have been mentioning the Stars aligned here's a pamphlet. He can't make a living off gizmos in his situation since most of what Star wars has is advanced tech and to do anything impressive he would need more resources and more of an understanding of the mathematics of this universe (Stares at ceiling one night trying to figure out if the law of relativity would be a thing here). That might slow him down just like… his math doesn't actually work here so on top of language he would have to learn things to do complicated stuff that he could already buy for a credit. But with armory it's concepts he knows well and adding weapons to armor especially no lethal ones is something he also knows. Mandalorian armor with UNI BEAM
When it comes to canon, he knows THE big thing (Palpatine is Sidious) and basically nothing else. He thinks he remembers the clones being Mando? but he's honestly not even sure he remembers the original Fett's first name correctly. He knows the guy is a Fett, because Boba was a cultural mainstay for Tony's childhood, so like, it was nice to have some backstory, but he's honestly not sure how likely "that baby Mand'alor that went missing" is to being Boba's plot-relevant dad. Could be an uncle for all he knows, or just a guy with the same last name.
@firebirdeternal:
I feel like to keep things fair Tony should be able to scale up a little harder than the average Mandalorian. Yeah all his tech knowledge is a bit out-dated and he isn't likely to get an arc reactor running in a way that'll be more powerful than anything locally available, but I feel like he'd adapt pretty darn quickly to available tech and start Improving Things Nat's skills all translate extremely well, once she's not got stumpy toddler body she's basically back to her old level PLUS telekinesis and wibbly force nonsense although I understand if that's also not the focus of the fic, being less "And now there's some Avengers Here (Powerset)" and more "And now there's some Avengers Here (Attitudes and Characters)"
Nat is very excited to Break Into Tony's Cave.
NGL this was initially going to be a Tony Raises Nat thing but I couldn't ultimately justify her NOT going the Jedi route after I realized I wanted her to be Sensitive.
There was also a discarded plot idea about her being a little older and having gone undercover in death watch, because Tony got kidnapped to work for them and got through to her, where she gets to use her Bites as a teen but I scrapped it.
I do think she successfully argues to her Master to visit him at 14 to get light armor though.
Nat's the sneakiest little initiate and also. Very, very controlled in the scary way during spars.
Bea:
Natasha as a Jedi is so good. Like, she would probably have a bit of dissonance between Jedi training and the training she received as a child, and it might help her work through some things. Nat: I've known Yoda for three days but if anything happened to him I would kil-- wait uh (pivots) I would be very sad. She would try to sneak up on council members. It is like a kitten stalking a cat on the outside, but also she's a grown woman and wants to be that good. (AU of this If Quinlan ever saw this he'd adopt her: Quinlan: Tholme I found a new padawan sister. Get training Tholme: [literally just finished with Quinlan. Had planned to take a vacation. Meditate. Drink. He loves his kid but needs literally a moment here] Tholme: She's seven. Quinlan: I was four. Tholme: … Quinlan: She has a secret tragic background toooo I know you like that 😄 Tholme: [Sigh] Nat: …wait is he supposed to be Sherlock Holmes. I think he's space Sherlock Holmes. Need to ask Tony if Star Wars had Sherlock Holmes? lol yeah Tholme just feels like he could blend well with an avengers story, and a Black Widow story in particular)
Not joking when I say I considered if I could squeeze Tholme into the timeline.
Tony sends her music files that he thinks sounds Particularly Ballet to her because he remembers how much she liked dancing, as the main or even only positive thing from her Red Room training, and how she once said that if she hadn't become a spy, she thinks she'd have liked to be a ballerina.
The first time they see each other in person in years is her visiting for baby armor at 14 and is hesitant to hug him because like. Yeah he's her "brother" and there were a few years where they were acting as such and he was helping her with Basic Tasks that she doesn't like to think about too much because it's embarrassing, and they cuddled THEN, because she was Physically Baby, but they're just coworkers in reality, right? Should she hug him? If only to sell the bit to her Jedi Master?
Tony is also not the most huggy person and isn't sure if HE should hug Nat because he remembers jokey stabbing threats from when they were Avengers and like. Does she still feel that way, now that she's not a bumbling like tot?
They are both unsure of if hugging is on the table and it's the Jedi Master who says "you know, you're allowed to hug, if you want" under the impression that they aren't sure if the Jedi would allow it. And then the hug is very tight and loving because at least subconsciously they DID both want that.
The Jedi Master takes a pic.
Bea:
Jedi master: (aw) It's one of those "we've been in life or death situations together and also grew up together kinda sorta and also we're trauma bonded," and the first opportunity to solidify Family as their dynamic they both jump in feet first. And both of them were like. Extremely lonely children probably. In different ways but still.
(It's why the Hawkeye plushie didn't make her CRY, per se, but she does start keeping it in her bed even though she's Too Old for these things.)
When it comes to hugging, Nat is understandably concerned about overstepping and like. "Taking" Morgan's place. (I'm going with Tony and Nat being friends (or at least friendly) from A1 to A2, and during the blip she stopped by for dinner once in a while. Nat doing her best to bring Child Appropriate Gifts for Morgan (she misses being Aunt Nat for the Barton kids).) Or as Bea put it: Tony: Are you spying on me or are we doing people things? Nat: Can't it be both?
Anyway, their dynamic is a weird little midpoint once they're in Star Wars but then they get to a point in the armor making where Tony takes a break on a bench and she slips in under his arm to cuddle and it's just Nice (even though he's kinda sweaty and gross from the blacksmithing).
Bea:
Tony: ….. so……. is Yoda… does he look like… is he…. Nat: …???? Tony: You saw the Muppets right? Is he still a Muppet? Nat: [totally has seen the Muppets] what's a Muppet? Tony: You're killing your brother, Nat ;A;
Also the comedy of having MULTIPLE "secret languages" that nobody can translate.
It's handy, too. Between her and Tony, but also lots of languages to give different uses to. Can teach one to a specific faction for communication. OH, the poor Threepio units! She got stuck in a room with one once, and don't get my wrong, they can pick up a language fast, but they need to hear long enough sampling of it. Nat: I'm not teaching you stop asking I do agree too that Tony and Nat no matter their circumstances would be working towards stopping Palpatine. Like is this a real space is this a dream is this another dimension that just happens to be like a movie in ours? Doesn't matter the dictator is going down.
The Jedi Master is somewhat aware of the whole 'used to be an adult, sort of' thing. I don't know that they believe she's linearly matured but probably they think it's something like what I did in Jedi Babies It's definitely more explicit with a mind healer she got assigned soon after arrival.
She didn't decide whether to play it straight and "get help" or just try to game the system until she was actually sitting down. But she'd been having screaming night terrors about things she experienced in her first life, so.
Pixie:
She meets Anakin after TPM (if it's not avoided) when Obi-Wan's trying to settle him in and goes "ah, I know how to handle this kid." At some point Anakin and Tony end up sending each other various schematics.

The Ultimate Guide to TPMS Sensors and Tools for Optimal Tire Safety
Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) have become a critical component of modern vehicles, ensuring that tire pressure is maintained at optimal levels to enhance safety, fuel efficiency, and tire longevity. In this guide, we will delve into the importance of TPMS sensors, how they work, the significance of using the right TPMS tools, and the best options available for TPMS programming and maintenance.
Understanding TPMS Sensors
TPMS sensors are designed to monitor the air pressure inside your vehicle’s tires and alert you when the pressure falls below a safe level. These sensors can be either direct or indirect:
Direct TPMS: These sensors are installed inside the tire and directly measure the air pressure. They transmit real-time data to the vehicle’s onboard computer, providing accurate readings.
Indirect TPMS: These systems do not measure tire pressure directly but use the ABS wheel speed sensors to estimate tire pressure based on the rotational speed of the tires.
Maintaining proper tire pressure with TPMS sensors helps in preventing accidents caused by underinflated tires, improving fuel efficiency, and extending the lifespan of your tires.
Importance of Tire Pressure Sensors
The tire pressure sensor is a key component of the TPMS. Its main functions include:
Real-Time Monitoring: Providing real-time tire pressure data to the driver.

A Jedi's Weapon
I've been thinking about Lightsabers recently. Everyone knows them, everyone likes them, and I'm pretty sure everyone reading this wanted one when they were a kid. But lately, I've been thinking about what they represent.
Lightsabers are weapons, yes, but it's not their only function. They are useful tools, and not only in combat, but in everyday life to light fires, to cut down the branches of trees when your travelling through a forest, etc. But most of all, I like the symbolism and the meaning they have for the people of the galaxy.
Everyone can pick up a blaster and shoot. And although aiming is harder, it's nowhere near the level of difficulty that achieving mastery in lightsaber combat is. Lightsaber dueling has several forms, all of them unique and useful depending on the situation and the individual, which is amazing if you think about it hard enough.
Blasters are almost always used to kill. Sure, there are stun blasters, and Jedi do seem to be able to use them when the situation calls for it (Obi-Wan killing Grievous with a blaster in ROTS immediately comes to mind). But, if you want to defend yourself with a blaster, the only thing you can do is shoot back, aka aiming for the kill, kill them before they kill you. That's why Luke using a blaster is portrayed as a sign that he's not a Jedi yet, that's why Ezra using a blaster instead of reconstructing his lightsaber/blaster hybrid is used to signify a dangerous shift in his thinking.
Lightsabers are dangerous, yes, but the greatest danger doesn't come from your opponent attacking you before you can lift your weapon. Even Force-adepts have quicker ways to kill you if that's what they wanted to do (look at how often Vader actually uses his lightsaber in the OT, for example, the only person he kills with it is Obi-Wan and that's because Obi-Wan let himself be killed; very clearly, Vader prefers Force Choking, which is entirely fair).
The greatest danger of a lightsaber comes from your own blaster bolts being reflected right back at you. That is a good incentive to surrender and solve things in relative peace, instead of a firefight. Even if that's not enough to stop you, even if you shoot anyways, it gives you some pause, which a blaster can't do.
When it maims, it cauterizes the wound, which prevents you from dying of bloodloss and makes it easier to find medical treatment (think of Luke in ESB).
When it kills, it kills fast and immediately, if your opponent knows where to hit. (Think of Qui-Gon in TPM, where he gets to say his last words to Obi-Wan and doesn't seem to be in much pain).
Dexter says this, in Jedi Apprentice. What the lightsaber represents to the people. Hope, safety, there's someone to protect us now… unless you are the one opposing the Jedi, of course. No other weapon inspires so much hope and fear.
It's a weapon it takes a lot of time and effort to master. It's almost a self-imposed limitation.
It's a weapon with sacred value, unlike many others. It's a unique weapon connected to its user's soul. It's a weapon which is used to protect, to defend. It's a sword used as a shield.
It's the weapon of a Jedi.
A more elegant weapon, from a more civilized age.

Not to get back on that thread: but people need to stop acting like Qui Gon Jinn freed Anakin out of pure intentions. He literally says the line that he hasn't come to free slaves and only gets interested in Anakin after secretly testing his blood, thinking Anakin fits a prophecy, and his pod racing is a good way to get that hyperdrive. If Anakin was not Force sensitive or just borderline Jinn would have mosey on with his mission.
From what I have seen Qui-Gon is equally praised and criticized for helping to free Anakin, positively because freeing someone from slavery is always something good, even if the reasons were questionable and badly because for many pro- Obi-Wan fans he seemed to worry too much to give a 9 year old former slave a place to live and learn about his powers over his 25 year old padawan who was ready to graduate from Jedi school and that´s a deal breaker for them.
Qui-Gon is a complicated and complex character in the PT and I believe it´s worth it to analyze his actions from different perspectives and the Jedi Order as well under those lenses.
First off: I agree Qui-Gon freed Anakin because he was the chosen one and if Anakin wasn´t force sensitive or he didn´t felt a strong presence in the force around Anakin, he probably would have left without doing much else for the Skywalker family, then again, given he rescued Jar Jar from being executed, there´s a possibility he would have tried to do something about Shmi and Anakin, maybe not much but something.
There´s a reason for this, George Lucas wanted to picture the relationship between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan this way. He said this about them:
"“Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan disagree about using what one would call in mythological terms "the guide” . One believes in the guide, the other one doesn´t . When you are walking down the street and the are beggars on the street , one character takes the beggar along and the other one says “Why are you doing this, this is not a wise thing to do” The other one says “Yes but beggars can be USEFUL to us” It´s a classic mythological motif but at the same time it´s conflict" (George Lucas)
Qui-Gon is the person who brings with him the beggars, in this case Jar Jar and Anakin, while Obi-Wan doesn´t consider it WISE and in fact finds them annoying and unnecesary(Like many fans at the time TPM came out XD)
It´s curious that while Anakin was in deep need himself, when it comes to him, it was Qui-Gon and Padme the ones in the beggars position, they would have died right there on Tatooine if Anakin didn´t offer them his home and a place to eat and he did it not because he found them useful, he simply wanted to help, he did it out of compassion and curiosity, the same reasons why he liked to help the old slave lady with her unit to keep her produce fresh. Anakin has COMPASSION because his mother teached it to him. Anakin and Shmi relationship to the force was BALANCED they helped the few, cared for the many and their actions led them to be instrumental in saving an entire planet while being just a pair of slaves themselves.
In the end both Jar Jar and Anakin managed to give Qui-Gon and Obi-WAN the tools neccesary to achieve victory on Naboo at a military scale and protect Queen Amidala, which was their mission, while they personally fought Darth Maul.
Lucas doesn´t quite says this but Qui-Gon, while not being perfect and maybe driven by his own interest on prophecies, shows himself to be more compassionate for Anakin and Jar Jar than the Jedi Council or Obi-Wan and the reason is simple, Qui-Gon cares for the living force while the Jedi care for the force in a more conceptual and personal level and as an institution, their missions for the Senate are always the priority. Not some slaves from Tatooine or some Gungan from Naboo.
I believe Lucas wanted to picture here what exactly it meant the fact the force was umbalanced.
On one side you have the Jedi Council and Obi-Wan who take Spock approach to their relationship with the force:" the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” it´s a logical, rational and analytical way of seeing the force, it isn´t wrong but it kind of lacks something very important, kidness, compassion, love for the needs of the few.
While Qui-Gon seems to be more of the oppinion that if you atend to the needs of the few, then they will become grateful, support you and eventually can become useful and guide you to achieve the needs of the many. It´s not wrong either but he may hurt people on his way to achieve that, Shmi was left behind a slave while he managed to free her Son and Obi-Wan felt hurt/abandoned by his decision to train Anakin and take him as his new padawan.
Some compassion and kidness is there but there´s no love yet and we need to remember the PT happens when the force and the Jedi are umbalanced, the force truly doesn´t achieve balance in the PT and because this is ONE movie, until Luke convinces his father to come back from the darkside and Vader agrees out of LOVE and COMPASSION = UNLIMITED LOVE for his Son which destroys the Sith and frees the galaxy from imperial rule: the needs of the many and the few are no longer separated because they are one and the same.
If Qui-Gon lived he probably would have gotten closer to that particular pov, while not perfect and with some issues himself, he at least was oppening himself to another way of thinking, while the Jedi Order seemed happy to keep themselves crystalized in their ways of many years and even centuries ago, this isn´t wrong or malicious but it could prove to be harmful for the members of the order, who, like Anakin or Qui-Gon himself, didn´t exactly vibe with their present philosophy and of course eventually had the consequence of alienating themselves from the rest of the galaxy, at the point there were people like Padme, who despite having a direct link to them, doubted they were allowed to love and this is what Palpatine used to convince the entire Senate it was ok to destroy the Jedi Order if they became Rogue and attacked them, the Order´s freedom was conditional to their obedience to the Senate, the moment this seems to no longer be the case is reason enough to destroy their entire organization with hardly any resistance. The needs of the many(Galaxy) are more important than the needs of the few(jedi Order) and the Empire is born.
This is something Yoda begins to discover as well in the last chapters of the clone wars but he dind´t had time either to reintroduce those concepts inside the order.
So in short yes, I completely agree Qui-Gon would have left Anakin behind if he didn´t believe he was the chosen one or a force sensitive, that said, he probably would have tried to free him and Shmi but he probably would not have gone further than that, because that wasn´t his or Obi-Wan´s mission.
Still I sometimes wonder if he did that originally and he just didn´t notice Anakin was a force sensitive, Anakin would have grown up safe, happier and better able for his chosen one role, free from Palpatine´s influence, after all Anakin didn´t feel cold on Tatooine, he felt it near Coruscant, because the darkside was present very strongly there.

inquisitor anakin with obikin au is this anything
palpatine’s timeline is moved up and the clone wars start six or seven years earlier. the events of tpm remain untouched, so anakin is obi wan’s padawan and his commander throughout this whole time. when general grievous is found on utapau, obi wan is sent to kill him like in canon, with anakin remaining on coruscant for his safety. unfortunately, palpatine executes order 66 and anakin is at the heart of it
anakin is not so integral to palpatine’s plans as he’s in his mid-teens at this point, but palpatine still wants him and while anakin is able to escape the temple and hide for a bit, he is eventually caught without knowing what happened to his master and palpatine is able to use all this and the various torture methods at hand to break anakin and have him agree to become an inquisitor. perhaps palpatine originally wanted anakin as an apprentice, but it’s too early to tell and the fact that anakin hangs on to hope and the idea that his master will come and save him for so so long, resistant to inquisitorius’ efforts, well he’s a fine tool as a dark sider, but a sith apprentice? that remains to be seen
five or so years pass and obi wan has been in hiding. without having to protect luke or leia, he only stays in one place for so long. it’s a thing of survival, but somewhere and buried obi wan secretly hopes he will find his padawan because he has to believe anakin escaped (he desperately hopes anakin made it off coruscant somehow because he knows if his padawan didn’t, there could be a fate worse than death for him) when obi wan uses the force after years of having it locked away to save somebody like cal did with prauf on bracca, an inquisitor is sent to hunt down the jedi
the eleventh brother had been sent to hunt down jedi many times now, so this report is nothing special. kill or capture them, whatever seems best. eleventh brother usually does the former. it is all standard, just a lead really without much information but if there is a jedi, he will be able to find them no matter what. what is not standard, is to find a jedi he knew when he was still a padawan. what is not standard, is seeing your old master who died abandoned you left you hated you
obi wan has seen inquisitors before, but not this one who wears a helmet fully obscuring his face with a vocoder so not even his voice can be recognised, although through all the alterations, it sounds familiar. and when the eleventh brother sees you in the crowd, gaze hidden by red transparisteel but boring into you all the while, he pauses and takes off his helmet to reveal a face you know so well and could never mistake even though the face belongs to a young man now and not an awkward teen, marked by a scar bisecting his right eye and the lack of a braid. it’s anakin. your padawan is the eleventh brother. and you know that death would have been a kinder fate for him than this
where this all goes from here? not certain but once they are reunited and anakin is not trying to kill or capture obi wan, well it’s been a good while and obi wan can’t exactly be blamed for finding anakin attractive (and maybe falling in love with him) and anakin has never been normal about his old master
i’ll figure out more but i mostly just wanted anakin as an inquisitor and you know one lone candle is enough
#obikin#anakin skywalker#inquisitor anakin#at work i’ll type more after lol#obi wan kenobi#i’m not scared of you weird timeline or explaining why palpatine isn’t so obsessed with anakin#apparently there isn’t a known eleventh inquisitor so that goes to you anakin but also i’ll do what i want#so if there are better numbers ill take it#im not scared of changing things up i love cal as fourth brother we could do that#i very much like the idea of the jedi trap in rots novel and just making it an inquisitor trap instead#will anakin cry a lot in this yes as he should and yes obi wan will want to lick his tears off his face#believing that obi wan abandoned anakin being the thing that breaks him is just delicious too#yeah idk all this was because i love some inquisitor cal kestis and thought why not make it anakin
