Hi angel…..since ur doing hme q n a and It’s MOVIE edition i wanna know…what r the boys fave movies 🤔

Leo is a huge movie buff- he LOVES movies, even terrible ones. His favorites are forever rotating, right now he's really into Black Beauty, Clue and the movie vers of RENT!

Mikey's favorite is Mamma Mia - Leo got him into Phantom of the Opera as well, but Mamma Mia has been his favorite for a few years now <3 (Leo got him into Mamma Mia as well)

Raph is a little embarrassed, he's very picky and the last movie he genuinely enjoyed was Frozen :/ He and Donnie both tend to fall asleep during movies

Donnie always falls asleep during movies, so he doesn't have a favorite :/ He never sees the ending of any movie ever smh

Question since splinter is transphobic(?) does he still refer Leo to she/her?(or opposite) If so has he ever Heard like raph,Donnie or Mikey refer to leo Ms he/him and What wen his reaction

He does still use she/her pronouns when referring to Leo. Leo came out to him a while back but Splinter basically pretends it never happened. He does say Blue instead of Leo's dead name, though, sort of as a way to keep him happy ( there's actually a whole reason for this that I'm gonna make a comic about later ).

Splinter's reactions to Leo being trans are not from a place of maliciousness, but rather fear. So he is trying to not only keep Leo happy, but also still 'prove his point' IG.

The boys generally try to keep discussions of Leo's pronouns as vague as possible around Splinter, so they'll either say Blue, point at him, or use words like 'sibling' instead of gendered terms. The occasions where they have used he/him pronouns in front of Splinter, he has just sort of turned and stormed out of the room. ( and one time Mikey heard him crying a bit through the wall, but again he's got this whole other thing going on )

They just don't want to get in trouble. There was also a brief period where they actually forgot entirely and Leo had to be like ' guys did you forget '

Okay you said Mikey is the favorite brother, but how do all the others get along? Do they have certain things they like to do together? Like mikey and raph painting together or raph helping leo take care of his plants?

Hmmmm I think Raph n Donnie probably hang out a lot, specifically they sit in Donnie's room and watch meme compilations and tiktok.

Leo will occasionally rope Raph into helping with his plants, but it usually ends in a fight. He tries to get Donnie to do more stuff with him but ehhh they just really don't hang out a ton. Sometimes they'll watch Galaxy Adventures, but it's more like one of them walks in while the other one is already watching and then they're kinda passively hanging out?

Mikey n Raph definitely paint/do crafts together! They used to hang out a lot more as kids, but kinda grew apart when they reached their teens. They also are the two that roughhouse the most-

Mikey n Donnie like to play video games together, esp Minecraft. Uhhh I'll have more stuff later. They don't hang out that often tbh-

Leo and Mikey do karaoke and spend arguably the most time together!

The one thing they all do together no matter what is play video games/card games :)

Drop the HME Splinter lore! The spectrum of Splinters, even in canon, is always so fascinating to me. Is yours Hamato Yoshi or someone else? Is he closer to a teacher or a father to the turtles? How involved/aware is he of their shenanigans?

Ehehehe I'm pleasantly surprised that people wanna hear about him :3

He's definitely not Hamato Yoshi, I'm not sure what his name was before just yet. I should preface with for this iteration he was a white man before mutating because of the nature of the iteration ( that its based a lot on my own childhood and I am white, not to mention not wanting to make another Splinter that's a caricature :( )

He's definitely more of a father, just not a very...good one. He is a very nervous parent and sheltered them a lot when they were super super young. Since he doesn't really believe in their privacy he definitely knows alllll about their shenanigans.

I think he only taught them how to fight because he did try to go back to the surface once and Mikey ended up getting hurt ( not too badly, but still ).

He definitely is way more involved in their lives/shenanigans than they would like.

Sorry this is one of those answers that I wanna put a positive spin on it and say they're a lil happy sweet family but his overprotectiveness has evolved to create a rift :(

As far as TMNT:HME goes, I really didn't write out any sort of linear plot. A lot of what that iteration is is just personal childhood memories/working through some stuff, so I haven't picked it up in a while :/

I kinda just made a huge huge list of comic ideas and then only drew a few of them.

Tldr: I probably will not be starting it in a linear plot sense, though if I'm ever feeling up to it I may draw some more of the one shot comics :)

Yep, the turts are me n the sibs and Splinter is mostly my mom, actually. There is very little of my dad in there, but he's still in there smh.

April is mostly just based off of one thing that happened with one of my friends and then everything else is p much just traits that she has had in prev. Iterations. Casey Jones ( I think I keep miswriting him as Casey Jr which is an L on my part ) is based off of one of my friends because that's his favorite character ( the 2003 vers) but he also has a lot of differing traits and just stuff that he's had in prev iterations! I'd say abut 1/4 of his character is literally just my friend :)

I did let this friend know about it tho because I didn't know how comfortable he'd be with that

I've talked a little about leo's relationships with his brothers here

But never about his relationship with Splinter so let's get INTO ITTT

When he was really, really young, he craved Splinter's attention a LOT- Splinter wasn't...neglectful per say, but occassionally Leo would want to play with him and Splinter would tell him to go to his room so he could watch his shows :/ Which is part of the reason that Leo has decided that any shows/movies Splinter likes he has to hate - it's a whole thing

He simultaneously doesn't care about Splinter's opinion and doesn't want to disappoint him. Realistically, he knows he already has. He knows that him coming out as trans was Splinter's worst fear come true. He also knows that Splinter loves him, but he just- he doesn't understand. He cannot understand Leo on a fundamental level.

I would go as far as to say that Leo doesn't really care about Splinter. He apologizes for Splinter's behavior constantly, but it's less out of love/devotion to him and more out of the need to tell himself that it wasn't that bad. That yeah these things seem bad in retrospect, but they weren't that bad. he's constantly downplaying bad things that have happened/Splinter as done because he - for some reason- doesn't want anyone to think Splinter is THAT bad of a guy. But he knows he probably was. Probably is.

He knows he'd be better off never speaking to Splinter again and just abandoning him. He knows that. But he also knows that Splinter isn't as bad as other parents and that at least he provides for him and keeps a roof over his head

TLDR: Leo doesn't love Splinter as a parent at all, but he isn't completely devoid of caring in his own way.

💵 - Splinter has a job in the hidden city as a nurse! Before he got that job, though, they just scavenged for whatever they could! Splinter became very cheap as a result but later on when they have the money he tends to spoil the three younger boys :)

🤖 - Donnie does not have a robot child, but I think he'd make a bunch of prototypes! He's the most sociable turtle out of all of them, so he'd definitely want for friends :) robot friends!! Maybe one day he will be able to make one, though!

🎨 - Mikey is the artist of the boys, but Raph also does art! He's a bit jealous of Mikey for being 'better' though :/

I'll go one by one for the first one ( they don't have super special meanings or anything, just things they like )

Leo ofc has his stars! He just really likes space and the star motif is super cute!! He also has his scarf, its just got all their colors on it - he sewed on the little bits himself.

Mikey likes to make bracelets and has a MASSIVE collection, so he's always wearing em.

DONNIE HAS A TOOLBELT!!! It holds all his stuffs!

Raph has his ripped pants - which he wears exclusively to spite Leo. Also has some dogtags that he found on the ground and decided he was gonna keep forever ( for funsies )

I think Splinter probably thinks that Leo is too...irresponsible? He expects a certain degree of responsibility that Leo doesn't really hit. He also is transphobic :)

For Mikey he definitely seems to blame him for things that aren't his fault. On the other hand, Mikey is also very messy, hates doing chores and Splinter can't stand that.

Same sort of thing for Donnie, but much less so. Excuses it away with compliments and stuff. He is the favorite child after all.

For Raph its like he doesn't even know he exists. He barely talks to Raph or really??? Worries about him?? He's just overlooked due to being the same age as Donnie ig

They go out together all the time! They usually end up arguing, but its always a lot of fun! Sometimes Raph n Donnie stay at home, but almost always its all four of em. Raph and Mikey also go out on their own ( separately ) a lot.

Uhhhhhhh I am actually gonna hold off on answering that cause I have a comic I wanna make about one of Leo's habits ( tee he its just one of my habits but anyway ).

Raph chews on his mask tails. Not really unhealthy but def noticeable. Mikey chews his nails like so so bad. I'll add more when I think of em :)

Quietist is Donnie for sure, Raph is the loudest. Mikey is the second loudest. Leo can be loud if he needs to.

Leo spends the most time alone, he doesn't really have much going on as far as a social life. Raph has a lot of friends and that's usually who he's hanging out when he's out.

Raph is the most likely to go out in public. Sometimes its to spite Leo and sometimes he just wants to go hang out in the city. Occasionally he'll drag Mikey out with him.

Leo has been into space since he was a kid and he hasn't been able to shake it since, Mikey n Raph ofc have their art. Donnie has his tech. The last three are more like just huge aspects of their personalities at this point. Mikey has been watching Project Runway nonstop for like 2 years ( Leo got him into it )

I don't know any water brands- Raph and Mikey are the only two that actually drink water and I think they drink a store brand? Leo drinks tap water :) Donnie is eternally dehydrated
