Reading City of Glass now and Jace is so unhinged about Clary it’s actually incredible. He wants her so bad. Like he is legitimately insane and I actually love him for it. My blonde blorbo is a menace for one girl only and yk what I can resonate with that sentiment. I too would be crazy over a girl if I knew she was the love of my life. OBVIOUSLY NOT IF THEY’RE SIBLINGS BUT I KNOW THEY’RE NOT SO I CAN LOOK PAST IT! Can’t believe I even have to say that…Cassandra…why did you put us readers in this position. Anyways. Jace is actually the funniest fucking guy around because his sass is unmatched. Bro is a Herondale for SUREEEE…also I’m so sorry but Clary is one of the dumbest people ever for throwing that tantrum and making her own portal like girl STAND UP! STAND UP. So glad we finally met Sebastian though I was waiting for him to show up I can’t WAIT for his big reveal…I will continue to update as I have before with the previous books! Jace is my number one still!

Re-reading the first introduction of Julian as Helen's little, totally normal twelve year old brother who was always up to something childish and fun knowing that he would just in a few months from then kill his own father (or what was left of him) and then practically become a parent, raising his own siblings and running a whole institute while hiding it is SO SAD. Like I literally teared up.

That Jules was long gone way before he should have been.

Rereading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and it’s actually a lot more boring than I remember, but it’s still decent enough for me to keep going! I also love Jace so so much, he’s the only character keeping me going at this point. I love a blonde blorbo. Vash, Jace, Meliodas, they’re all my blorbos. Although, I am DREADING the fake siblings arc. I do NOT want to see Clary and Jace have sexual tension while they think they’re siblings…but I have to get through it if I’m going to finish this damn series again…hopefully this second round is as good as the first. The last time I read these damn books was when I was like 11 and I’m trying to reconnect with my roots…pls don’t fail me Cassandra I LOVE JACE….
