Hello Tumblr!

I’m E, and ever since I join the Magnus fandom- especially on Tumblr- I’ve been scared.

Scared of the thing on the staircase? Yes. Scared of random yellow doors? Yes. Scared of popular children’s TV show mascots? Yes.

But also scared of speaking my mind. Fandoms have become so divisive these days, and I’m hoping to help make sure we all feel comfortable voicing our opinions in a space where we can talk without fear of negative/abrasive/exaggerated repercussions.

So, send me your unpopular magnus opinions! You can be anonymous if you’re worried about it, but either way, let’s be nice, even if we don’t agree!

i feel like people forget that tim stoker is just. a huge fuckin nerd. like yeah he's Assigned Canonically Hot by Basira, kayaking king etc. but he references iocaine powder from the princess bride! he has a specialist interest in architecture and regularly infodumps about robert smirke to jon! he casually namedrops stanislavski while bantering with sasha! he's got a first class degree from trinity college! he's forever borrowing books from the library! he's able to regularly phish utility companies for confidential information! he figures out where the unknowing will happen based solely off his own research even though the rest of the archival team have been trying for months! anyway live laugh love timothy stoker you wouldve been a great archivist if you weren't so silly at heart.

I’m not sure when during my first listen of TMA I started to headcanon Jon as having a lot of nervous ticks and bad habits similar to Danny— whether it be how they both obsess and throw themselves completely into things or how Tim describe’s Danny’s dramatic manner of speech. Regardless, I imagine Tim picking up on these similarities, giving him a sort of brotherly fondness for Jon at the start and making his anger towards him in the end only worse. Because why does it have to be Jon of all people that reminds him of Danny, even after everything he’s done?

With all that out of the way— here’s some incredibly angsty art :D
