...So I don't remember getting home last night. I've woken up, mouth suspiciously dry, with the recording from yesterday apparently completed.
I'll need to watch back footage..
And maybe try to piece together what happened last night. Memory loss isn't exactly a new phenomenon for me, mind you but... I'd still absolutely like to know what the result of that last recording attempt was.

DS9 sequel from the makers of Picard season 3
Sisko's second child is a Rosemary's Baby-type deal reincarnating Dukat's soul
Jake, contrary to his entire character arc, has enlisted in Starfleet, because of course he has
Sisko keeps saying "I can live with it," like it's his catch phrase
Bajor gets occupied again just so that our heroes need to return to the same jobs that they had 30 years ago
Kira has retired from military life (she comes back)
Bashir and Garak spend 55 seconds of cumulative time onscreen together across the whole ten-episode season
Somehow, Jadzia comes back to life; Ezri just disappears from the plot and nobody mentions her
Quips(TM), including a fourth-wall breaking laugh line about how "O'Brien must suffer"
Julian calls Section 31 "A critical division of Starfleet Intelligence"
Rom, Morn, Ishka, Cretak, and Martok all come back (only to be killed)
There's one good episode that actually pays of Tom Riker's plot from "Defiant" (and then he dies)

pinned post
Tumblr media
(my previous pinned post was getting a little old, so i thought i’d spice it up a little.)
hey! i’m hari- pronounced ha-ree. if you pronounce it as ‘hairy’ i’ll maul you
i’m 17 yrs old, and hang around unova. um. here’s me. and my pokemon.
Tumblr media
Maru is my ace, and very first pokemon. I’ve had her for more than.. about 14 years. He’s never left my side, and is very caring to those she loves. He also loves shiny things- to the point that when she evolved with all the things she’s collected in his wax, they carried to his evolution! Maru loves battling, and is very strong to boot. She has a track record for taking on foes almost twice his level- and doing so trilling happily. How could you not love her? [she/he, around level 57]
Mal, long story short, is a shithead. fuck them. Affectionately. They’re missing one eye, but loooves not only going into electronics, but creating them. They created their own main inhabitant- A prosthetic arm, which makes them electric/steel type. A smartass who loves causing trouble, AND steals my phone (more on that later). I care for them, though, and they care for me. I guess that counts for something. [they/them (rotoms are genderless lmao), around level 55]
Miss Tye is very temperamental, but is very loyal and protective of those she loves (especially Charm.) Her and her ‘sister’, Charm, stowed away on a ship from Galar, and appeared in Unova. She’s very sweet when she has a reason to be, but pretty easy to anger. She hits, and hits hard in battle, so she’s quite the force to be reckoned with. [she/her, around level 55]
Charm had appeared with Miss Tye, and was a milcery at the time. She had wanted to evolve for so long, so much so she kept her bow sweet, even after it broke in half. I gave her a berry sweet, but the bow sweet kept with her! Her cream is of salt and mint (two of my favs!!). Apparently, she wanted to evolve like so, so she could be blue, like her ‘sister,’ Tye. She is not much of a battler, so If I get a new pokemon, They may be on my team. Charm prefers to be a support in double battles, and she’s very good at it. [she/her, around level 30]
Locket just.. appeared in my house? I was on vacation, and upon coming back, we had an egg. I didn’t expect him to be a shiny when he hatched, but I love him very much!! I use him when I come across low-level trainers that challenge me to a battle. Otherwise, it would be no fun. [he/him, around level 10]
Arom is the only pokemon I’ve received as a gift- I got her as an applin from my (girl)friend, Maxie. She often competes with charm as to who smells better. A friend-of-a-friend sent me the Dragon Cheer TM, so I can evolve her, but I think I’ll wait a bit. [she/her, around level 53]
Tumblr media
There’s a few pokemon that appear that I haven’t caught- and they don’t want to be caught. They stick around. I like them.
Jackie is a gengar, and he’s one of the owners of the little house I reside in. Apparently, him and Rasp used to be rivals ‘back in the day’ (126 old ass…) but now be spends his time being lazy (I say this affectionately), bothering rasp (I’m convinced they’re married in some weird way), or just fucking around. He’s cool. Would give good hugs if he wasn’t. Yknow. Part poison type. [he/him]
Rasp is a trevenant, and he’s the second owner of where I stay. I would say he’s like a mother, if he wasn’t a 126 year old gay tree. Very galarian (yuck/j). I do love him a lot, as I have him to thank for teaching me how to cook. (Arc knows what I’d be doing if I didn’t have a hobby.) He keeps all the shitheads living here from burning the damn house down, and hell, if that isn’t an achievement, I dunno what is. [he/him]
Sev is a Dhelmise- arc knows how old he is at this point- and he often travels from unova to alola to paldea, and more. I don’t have much to say about him, considering that I don’t see him often (I mean, he’s in unova like.. 1/4 of the time, anyways. and it’s not like he’s straying away from the sea.) [he/him (why are there so many gay old men)]
Tumblr media
there’s gonna be a few other bloggers you see me interact with a lot so, it may be helpful to give a small introduction. i guess.
by the by, I’d recommend checking them out. not JUST because they’re cool and awesome and deserve love, but because it’s possible for pronouns to change. gender is a tricky thing, no?
@mmaxie-musings is my. um. girlfriend. She openly states that she’s a psychic, so I think mentioning it here is okay. met her in the woods, because her ditto wandered off into the woods I live in. the rest is history, as they say! [she/her]
@pkmntrainertrix and @uva-academy-vio are my fellow ghostboys!!! first people I met on this site. we’re weird, have odd relations with gender, but boy is close enough, and we like ghosts. what more could you want in a friend group? [it/he for trix, and he/him for vio!!]
@itshaunting-pkmn is my brother (in spirit. not by blood, but we call eachother brothers), and we met in some pkmn center some time ago, because he got big ol eyes at Maru and started awkwardly asking me questions. Aaaand then it turned out he’s also on rotomblr. and then we just. got closer! [he/him]
@alamos-garden-lover is a darkrai. yeah, i’m not kidding. I didn’t believe that at first either, but you kinda start to after you, yknow, send an ask his way asking for a nightmare because I can’t sleep anyways? ..yeah. but really, he’s very sweet, even if she’s a bit anti-social. i went to alamos to see her once, and I truly can’t wait to go back to see my dad agai- to see DARKRAI again. she’s not my dad and I don’t see him as my dad. totally. [he/she]
@aco-knight is the resident Creature (trix coming in a close second on the Creature scale), and it’s just a little bastard. other honorary non-blood-related sibling, because apparently darkrai’s just. Mentally adopted me (i’m not complaining) and I got aco as part of the little package deal (also not complaining). I saw ‘em when I traveled to paldea, but they just. Fuck around and teleport sometimes. It does that. It does a lot of things, get used to it. [they/it]
Tumblr media
so, uh, yeah! i know that was a lot, but i guess it’s better to have info here, in case you need it.
my Rotom REGULARLY steals my phone, and refuses to post on their own. So, their tag for posting is “MAL’Z POSTZ”
i. am nnnooooot the best when it comes to interacting with others, so be a little patient! i’m just a fan of ghost types and battling, nothing too special about me.
Because I’m a normal human. Totally.
Tumblr media
CURRENT EVENT: none
//ooc in readmore!
hey! finally redid the pinned, because this is waaay more organized. but, the ooc? lol. I’m just gonna copy and paste what I had. blehhhh :P
(oh and, P.S. - in case you forgot, the runner of this blog is @aimless-aimz !!! hi!! that’s me!!!!! i don’t bite, and I have a few interests other than pokemon, but you could find more pkmn art on my blog rather than this one.)
More will be revealed about hari and his team as time goes on!! please interact if ur a pokeblogger!!!! try to stay in character with this guy ok? lol
ooc storytelling will be tagged "hari's stories"!! they are often from askgames, but PLEASE request some if you ever get a prompt idea for this guy... you could ask about his past, present, and sometimes future!!
the current events each have tags for things related to their story! So far, we have the events “mourn the nineteenth”, “galarian imports”, “charm evolves”, “trip to alamos”, “unexpected egg”, “rebirth on the 26th”, "entombed event", and "Paldea trip". look at the tag to learn more!
there’s a tag for more serious stuff: that’s tagged as “lore”. Another lore heavy tag is “Forlorn presence”.

Hi! Do you have any idea if there’s a Kyle reading guide or something like that?
Have this list put together by @macabrekawaii. I bolded some of the titles I find fun or just more important, but you'll realize they're all at the start of the list lol because I haven't actually... read that many comics either...
If this looks scary to you, just read through his Ion arc as a Kyle speedrun. I haven't gotten there yet because I'm reading things chronologically like a loser but I heard it's good. It's also one of the more iconic Kyle stories, so you know.
(I've heard varying things on Omega Men. Some people laud it as a return to a more traditional Kyle, a normal boy who's just trying to do his best, some people hate it because of writing choices. Personally I'm saving it until I get the Kyle Vibes(tm) down so I have a fuller understanding of his character but you should totally form your own opinion on it. There are. A lot. Of opinions.)
KYLE VIBES BREAKDOWN
Green Lantern vol.3 #49-181 in particular 48-55, 129-136, 142-150 Green Lantern vol.3 #0 Flash vol. 2 #128-129 Three of a kind (Green Lantern #96, Green Arrow #130, Flash #135) (it's also just very good!) Aquaman vol.5 #10 Green Lantern Annual vol.3 #4-9 New Titans #115-117, 118-130 New Titans Annual #11 JLA/Titans: The Technis Imperative #1-3 (kis note: peak Kyle/Wally dumbassery) Wonder Woman #125 Titans #6 JLA vol.1 #1-76 (if you wanna just speedrun, 1-8, then 22-23 which is the story with Dream i am obsessed with) Green Lantern Secret Files & Origins 2005 Green Lantern: Circle of Fire Green Lantern Rebirth Rann/Thanagar War: Infinite Crisis Special Ion The whole War of Light stuff is pretty good but like, expansive. Sinestro Corps Countdown to Final Crisis Countdown Presents: The Search for Ray Palmer (extremely good especially if yr a filthy JayKyle shipper) Blackest Night Brightest Day War of the Green Lanterns Green Lantern: New Guardians v1 #1-16 Wrath of the First Lantern arc (in particular Green Lantern v5 #17-20, GL:NG #17-20) New Guardians: Gods and Monsters Godhead arc: New Gods: Godhead #1 Green Lantern Volume 5 #35 Green Lantern Corps Volume 3 #35 Green Lantern: New Guardians #35 Red Lanterns #35 Sinestro #6 Green Lantern Volume 5 #36 Green Lantern Corps Volume 3 #36 Green Lantern: New Guardians #36 Red Lanterns #36 Sinestro #7 Green Lantern Volume 5 #37 Green Lantern Corps Volume 3 #37 Green Lantern: New Guardians #37 Red Lanterns #37 Sinestro #8 Green Lantern Annual (Volume 5) #3 N ew Guardians: Storming the Gate (GL New Guardians vol 6 #35-40) Omega Men #1-12 Green Lanterns #9, 22-24

hey maría
idk how many’s too many so feel free to answer what you’d like and toss the rest:
5, 31, 55, 78, 98
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
hi tru!!!!! don't worry i love talking about The Process TM, you're fine lmao
5. have you ever made a playlist about something you were writing as an elaborate means to procrastinate when you could have been actually writing and if yes drop a link, son
have i ever made a playlist you say,,,, well. i make playlists for every single long-ish project i write and for some of the shorter ones as well klsdhg i have so many playlists, it's very ridiculous. the last one is this one i made for the persuasion au (codex fic that's currently in ice).
31. tell us about one of your characters who’s an absolute joy to write
cody counts right
55. do you have any abandoned WIP’s? What made you abandon them?
there's this fic i started writing back when i first got into the fandom. i posted the first few chapters, decided it wasn't very good and i wasn't that interested in finishing it anyways, and i decided to delete it. it's the only fic i've ever deleted from ao3, and it was a padmé lives au
78. how do you choose where to end a chapter?
it depends!!!! cliffhangers are fun, but sometimes it's at the end of an arc.
98. what don’t you like about your writing style?
hmmm i don't know if there's anything i dislike about it? it's more like. things i'm working at getting better at? for example, when i'm writing in english i'm very aware that i can't get as fancy as i do in spanish, and i'm trying to work on that. i also wish i was better at writing dialogue, but idk. if i don't like something about my style i simply change it!!!!

aight so I have a lot of (mostly non-positive) thoughts on the new episodes of Doctor Who so lemme rant for a bit because I’ve been wanting to do this for ages.
(if you enjoyed the new episodes and liked the storyline/execution/whatever or you just don’t want to get into The Discourse TM, I wouldn’t recommend reading this post, but do what you want):
This rant is mostly for myself to rant a bit, but also to see if anyone else feels the same way, which, is kind of the point of Tumblr anyway but akshjajsa
this isn’t an attack on Jodie as the Doctor or a “Chibnall ruined Doctor Who!!!!1″ type of post, but a measured critique on the aspects of the premiere of Series 12 that I really didn’t like.
This is only discourse on Spyfall Part 1 and Part 2, as I haven’t watched Orphan 55 yet.
Here we go.
First things first, the things I actually did like:
I actually only watched a few episodes of Series 11, so I’d just like to note I love Team TARDIS with my whole ass heart ahsjahsja they are great companions and have a great dynamic
I liked the concept of the mission they had to deal with it, even if I didn’t like the execution
Sasha Dhawan was EXCELLENT in this. The way his demeanor changes completely when he stops pretending to be O, his portrayal of the Master, everything about him here was great
The plot twist scene was great. The Doctor’s reaction, the Master’s child-like attitude and excitement, Team Tardis being confused af, it was really good from start to finish and Jodie and Sasha’s acting truly made it click.
Jodie was also really excellent here btw. The way she portrayed the Doctor’s feeling of being frozen during the reveal scene perfectly, her finally getting to show off the Doctor’s darkness, her dynamics with the Master, her seeing Gallifrey in shambles, etc. She killed it
Ada Lovelace and Noor Inayat Khan were GREAT additions and I kinda wish they were full-time companions lmao. Also I ship Thirteen and Ada a lot tbh
The whole scene with the back-and-forth between the Doctor’s message and Graham and Graham landing the plane was hilarious. Graham used to be my least favorite new companion but I think he’s one of my faves now
Part 2 was overall much more fun than Part 1, and the characters were more entertaining as well
I mentioned this before when talking about Jodie’s acting, but seeing Thirteen finally go dark is great. I’m excited to see where this is heading towards, and from what I’ve seen, it’s gonna cause Team TARDIS some conflict, which was kind of overdue. I just really hope Chibnall can lower his ego and allow other writers to execute these concepts in ways he can’t throughout the series
I was also left genuinely intrigued by the whole Timeless Child thing and am looking forward to that so. Yeah.
Now, what I didn’t like:
First of all, it’s written by Chibnall himself and he’s the only writer. ‘Nuff said
The episode seems to take a bit too long to introduce the characters once more and show their daily lives before we get to the point or even first see the Doctor. Maybe that’s just me but idk
Like I mentioned, I like the potential of this mission. A CSI-esque episode but make it sci-fi/Doctor Who. My problem lies with the execution. It wasn’t a fun storyline, and after the Master reveal, it just feels like it’s sidelined and simply there as “oh look Doctor, you looked away and the Master started using ANOTHER alien race to get your attention AGAIN”. It didn’t feel fun either, since there was just. So much info-dumping and not enough answers. The problem isn’t that it was unoriginal, it’s that it was uninspired and boring
Not to mention the Kasaavin ended up being sidelined so much that everyone was just ??? kind of confused about them. Also I’ve seen some people say they are literally just the Cybermen 2.0 and I kind of agree
I got the vibe that “O” and Yaz were flirting and just. Ew. I do not fuck with that
Part 1 in general just felt completely boring and the storyline was so generic you could replace the conflict with literally anything else and keep the twist and it wouldn’t change a thing lol
Also, as happy as I am that we have a POC incarnation of the Master, I’m...conflicted. I am going to miss Missy a whole lot, and the Master going back to being a man is...kind of boring, but that’s not my issue. I understand that, after what happened with her, Missy might’ve given up on redemption and decided to go back to her old Master-y ways, specially with the whole Timeless Child thing, that was so traumatizing the Master felt obligated to destroy Gallifrey, BUT it feels like it just inutilizes Missy’s entire character arc during Capaldi’s run and introduces a new plot element just to make the Master go back to their old villanous ways. It’s sorta cheap
Speaking of cheap plot elements just introduced to retconn things Moffat did, we’ll get back to Gallifrey later
The scene with the Master telling the Doctor to kneel made me uncomfortable. Having Thirteen be the first female Doctor (and arguably the gayest Doctor at that) and then have the Master, her antagonist, be a man...meh. But then have him tell her to kneel and to essentially humiliate her by telling her to call him “Master”, that had my stomach a bit uneasy. Like, yeah, Simm!Doctor did much worse to Tenth, but the implications are much, much, different in this context. Idk, I personally was left uncomfortable by that scene
The Doctor turning the Master over to the N*zi officers was so, so fcking shitty like. I’m not mad at the Doctor, I’m mad at Chibnall for putting that in the fcking script. WHY DID HE THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?????
The Doctor wiping Ada and Noor’s memories just felt so...unnecesary. Like, the Doctor has interacted with historical figures in the past and kept their memories intact (Agatha Christie comes to mind as an exception, though that was accidental). And besides, what for? Ada and Noor having memory of what happened interfered with nothing (I might be wrong on this as I kind of erased anything the Doctor said in that scene from my mind involuntarily lmfao but even so, I can’t come up with any good excuses that could be used there anyways, but if I am missing something notify me in the notes) and they don’t seem like the type to tattle about it or smth
Ah, and now we get to Gallifrey, or what I like to call, both the best and the worst example of what a retconn is. Listen, it doesn’t matter whether you liked Moffat and/or his decision to bring back Gallifrey, but you have to agree this is ridiculous. Chibnall didn’t want to have to deal with what Moffat left him with (a restored Gallifrey and the implications of that) so he had The Master just destroy Gallifrey by himself and discarded it like a chess piece, like. Am I the only one legit dumbfounded by this???? First of all, it took the Daleks an entire war to attempt to destroy Gallifrey, and they actually failed in the end, and yet the Master destroys it by himself, no stress. I legit don’t get it. Listen, I have mixed thoughts on Moffat’s decision to do so and I hate Hell Bent as much as the next person, but this is Chibnall discarding yet ANOTHER arc. That’s two arcs in one premiere. Wow. It legit sealed the deal for me that this premiere was a hot mess.
That’s it (that’s it, she says, after writing a whole essay). Again, this is not an attack on Chibnall’s Doctor Who, Jodie as the Doctor or me telling you how to feel about this episode. My opinion seems like an unpopular one from what I’ve seen but I stand by it lol.
As a closing statement, fingers crossed that Chibnall lets other people write too this series lmfao.
(This is my first indepth critique of anything here so, hum, if you disagree, please be kind akhjahsjahs I doubt this will get much notes anyways but)

Talks Machina Highlights - Critical Role C2E26 (July 17, 2018)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tonight’s guests: Matt Mercer, Ashly Burch, and Taliesin Jaffe. Heck, I’m nervous for all three of them.
Announcements: Critical Role will be at the San Diego Comic Con on 7/21 in 6BCF at 6:30pm. The panel will be aired next Tuesday during the TM time slot. They’ll also be at NYCC in October!
CR Stats! Episode 26 had 14 natural 20s, the most of the new campaign. This was in no small part due to Ashly borrowing Tal’s dice because she doesn’t own her own dice bag. There’s so much dice karma happening in that sentence I don’t even know how to handle it. It ties with episodes 55, 61, and 100. Keg has the most natural 20s of any single-episode guesting with 4. Molly got the M9′s 100th kill. He leads the party with 21 kills in all. “Hot murder streak.”
We’ve seen seven of Molly’s cards so far: the silver dragon, anvil, serpent, eye, moon, shadow, and the chariot. Tal says the serpent may be the same as the dragon, but he’ll check.
This was Ashly’s first time guesting on the show proper--previously she’d only been on oneshots. Biggest difference? “There were less people dying on the oneshots!”
Matt and Brian both take a moment to applaud Ashly’s characterization and sticking to the true roleplaying of her character over any min-maxing of the dice she might have done otherwise. Tal says the math would have come out either way as it was. It’s the first time she’s ever done something like that in a D&D game.
Matt always prefers roleplaying over what’s strategically optimal, especially since the moments where you falter and fail often lead to the true “hero” arc for your character. “It was very wild and unique to watch the cocksure exterior crumble.”
Everyone’s been kind to Ashly directly since The Incident. It’s only whispers she’d heard indirectly.
Tal already hadn’t slept the night before; he didn’t that night either, just curled up and thought until dawn. He realized in panic that he’d never come up with a backup character as Matt had asked months ago; he has rolled a new one since then, but he spent most of the weekend coping with making a new character in three days after spending six months on Molly. Bless.
Brian woke Ashley up during the live show when he heard Taliesin say “my Blood Maledict’s going to kill me” so that they could watch the rest together. He realized that Matt was hesitating a lot more than usual as things went on, that Matt seemed to be hinting more and more strongly that the impending encounter was about to go very badly for the M9.
Matt designed the Iron Shepherds to be a very dangerous, powerful group when they are all together (as they were that night). He’d planned for several options: the M9 following and never catching up, waiting to gather intel until Shady Creek, catching up but only observing from a distance, and for the actual battle itself. He tried to give them clues about how dangerous they would actually be: that there were more than five enemies, that Ashly’s character knew how dangerous they were, that they were prepared and tough-looking. However, he never wants to be too heavy-handed in guiding the players’ hands. His intent with the battle was to show some surprises and that the M9 didn’t know what they were dealing with, and had hoped that the M9 would take the hint and back out sooner than they did.
Brian could tell that Matt was very visibly affected as the fight went on, which Matt points out was in part due to how late it was. He allowed the battle to occur because he didn’t plan for it to be a long one (the Iron Shepherds were going to speed away...until the M9 dropped the tree across the road). Then he had no idea what was going to happen during the battle. He adds that DMs sometimes end up with encounters harder than they’d plan, and it was nervewracking because as much as he cares for these characters, he also has a responsibility to be true to the strength of the enemies and the realities of the dice. There were a lot of ways the fight could have still gone, but didn’t (parlay, discussion, more ambushing, better dice rolls).
If Keg hadn’t stepped up and used her relationship specifically with Lorenzo to halt the battle, it would have gotten way, way worse for the M9, including the kidnapping of more of the M9 to be sold.
Lorenzo has a specific vanity and enjoyment of power over other people, and Keg’s intervention played straight into that. It’s the only reason that encounter didn’t go more poorly.
Some of the Iron Shepherds’ background information was known by Keg; some was deliberate misleading on the part of the Shepherds to keep Keg in the dark.
Keg wasn’t happy about Caleb’s charming, but Keg knew there was no way she could take on the Shepherds on her own. She has a facade of being cocksure and proud but is truly a coward, and knew that taking them on alone would kill her. The charming was a “necessary evil.”
Taliesin knew the risks of the Maledict but planned to give Lorenzo disadvantage, hopefully dodge the next two attacks, and escape as soon as Lorenzo engaged with Beau. Then the dice came up with the rest of his HP and that was that.
Matt did in fact roll the Golden Snitch for the bad guys this game. Brian: “Let’s not give him the most powerful die in the game next time.” Tal: “Oh, it’s going to go mysteriously missing any day now.”
Lorenzo was not visibly afraid at any point during this fight. Matt declines to elaborate further.
GIF of the Week! u/rndmanswrs4rndmqstns from Reddit, for a gif of the battle map from last episode superimposed with a tragic news ticker footage of the slaughter.
Molly’s final words were an easy choice. “He’s not complicated in that direction, and his feelings on violence and death are easy.” Tal says it didn’t fully hit him until hours later. Still, Molly never really felt ownership of his own self; it all still felt borrowed. He knew death would come eventually and probably earlier rather than later. “As ways to go existed, I think that was a very Molly way to go.”
Matt thinks these reminders of mortality are important...depending on the type of story you’re trying to tell. Their game needs the stakes of having the risk of death, although that’s not what would be fun for every game and should not always be on the table. However, they know each other so well that he feels it’s an important reminder that there are consequences for their actions and that it suits the world they live in. Tal points out that the same thing is true for so many types of fiction: “they’re only fine because they’re not real.” Sometimes these stories happen in a vacuum and the hero is immortal...and sometimes, as in their game, they’re not. Matt thinks it’s important to be able to grieve and feel catharsis for even a fictional character (and cites a particular death from C1 as an example for himself). Matt: “In a weird, macabre way, I’m excited to see where the story goes from here.” Brian: “Me, too.” Tal: “Me, too. I mean, at first I was panicking, but now I have a pretty good idea.”
Ashly initially panicked when Matt revealed the Iron Shepherds’ abilities (since she thought she’d misremembered what Matt had said), but then felt even more justified in her RP. Everything felt worse because so many people were gone, including Laura and Travis. “I felt like the babysitter who dropped the baby.” She felt the whole time during the fight that they shouldn’t be engaging the way they were.
Molly’s final thoughts were “easy and simple and base...the immense, reasonable, and wonderfully sustaining emotion of ‘well, fuck you, too,’ which is the righteous and more reasonable cousin to ‘fuck you.’“ No fear, no panic.
The Iron Shepherds existed as part of the worldbuilding in the northern region and were intended to be a later issue, but Matt wove them into the story soon since Laura & Travis had to leave. He wasn’t intending for them to become such an immediate, intense antagonistic force, but DMs have to adapt to the situations and this one felt natural.
Cut to Dani Cam, who had a very hard Thursday night ( :( ). She asks Ashly how Keg, someone very self-preservational, decided to sacrifice herself for the M9. Ashly remembered that in their discussions, Matt characterized Lorenzo as someone who liked to make examples of people, and thought that if she prostrated herself in front of him, he might maim her but not kill her, which turned out to be accurate--so it was still fairly self-preservational on her part. They’ll find out more next week. Ashly will be with us the next two sessions and will be joining the crew at GenCon! Heck yes!!
As much as Tal likes Matt’s Lingering Soul class, he would never consider it as an option for Mollymauk. “There’s no version of Molly coming back as a ghost that doesn’t end with him desperately wanting it to be over.” Matt designed it more narratively to be a person whose sheer force of will keeps them from accepting the moment of death due to unfinished business or the pure determination to live...which they both feel is the exact opposite of Molly.
Matt liked how Taliesin showed that all personalities can play the Blood Hunter, not just the edgy grimdark type.
Fanart of the Week! @jesttothenines, with this pain. Ow.
If Molly hadn’t run to Lorenzo, Beau would have likely been his example instead. Molly was an easier target, though, because he was closer and more hurt. If Beau had been unconscious instead (and not dead) when Keg made her plea, Lorenzo might have asked what she was willing to trade to get Beau back.
This is the second of Tal’s characters Matt’s killed. The first one was a mad monk who liked to set things on fire who was eaten by ghouls.
Dani: “Why can’t this campaign be happy? And fairies?!” Matt: “We had the fairies last campaign in the Feywild! They murdered the pixies! They sided with the werewolves!”
After last campaign, Tal and Dani hugged while Dani cried pretty hard. Then Tal went home and cried himself. He left the table during the episode because he was on the verge of having a panic attack and couldn’t handle watching everyone else panic as well.
Ashly thought she was going to have a limb lopped off at minimum when Lorenzo had her kneel. She didn’t expect to be let go unscathed.
Molly would have considered his death “worth it” if he knew it meant Beau was spared. In a way, it helps that he now has an “eternal one-up” on her. Matt: “That’s very Molly of him.”
The persuasion success from Keg was a chief reason Lorenzo spared them, but it was also because the rest of the M9 were insignificant gnats to him. Keg’s reaction was the only one he cared about, so as soon as she gave in he’d gotten what he wanted. Then he just wanted to set the example and spread the word.
Ashly hadn’t meant to let them know she’d been part of the slavers until Shady Creek, but actually likes how it came out.
Matt really doesn’t think it was an overall bad plan. It was just a few strategic missteps, some very bad dice rolls, and an enemy that outmatched them.
Dani recalls to us all that Molly had told us it would be a cursed trip.
Molly’s parting advice to the M9: Tal declines to think about it much in depth. “Life’s short, eat a bagel. Join the circus. Lighten up. Life’s short; do something to a bagel.”
The illusion that cloaks the cages under the tarp means that even if the missing three of the M9 are in there, they wouldn’t have seen Molly’s death.
Molly is no different in Taliesin’s head than he was last week, which is why he's having a slightly easier time with this than everyone else. “He’s no different for me, I just don’t get to trot him out on Thursday.” He was based off of several friends, some who have passed away, and several experiences he had as a teenager and places and people he knew that profoundly affected him. He mentions a song off the soundtrack for Wristcutters: A Love Story, since that movie had a lot of “good carnie family vibes” about weird people taking care of each other. There was an archetype in film that was very much Molly which Tal hasn’t seen in a long time, and he explains: there’s a way of living a life where you don’t give a fuck about what people think but you do give a fuck about people. He never needed to be fixed and he never needed permission for anything. He’s not Iron Man where you’re waiting to see him become a good person, and he was never a creature of profound change like Captain America, where you watch to see the good they make on the world; his unfinished business was in each interaction he had with the people in the world and making them deal with him, but making sure that dealing with him was always a positive and kind experience. Matt gets very emotional at the description. Me too, friend.
His favorite part of playing him was being a teenager version of himself; the art and cosplay were spectacular. And the terrible accent, of course.
Brian takes a moment to thank Taliesin for making memorable characters and memorable choices that have a bigger impact than what only they can see. He looked at all the tributes for Molly this week because he wanted to get a feel for how the community was feeling so that they could hone the questions for the show. The character meant a lot to a lot of different types of people, and it’s a testament to Tal’s heart that people connected so much with this character.
Brian, Matt, and Tal are all crying at this point. Ashly starts reactive-crying. Dani’s crying on the Dani Cam. This is AWFUL.
After Dark: QQ Edition
We open laughing (relieving change) since everyone’s hurled obscenities at Brian just before the show went live. Matt enjoys being on the other side of that for once.
Beau is the member of the M9 who’s best earned the right to wear Molly’s coat. “She’s the one who needs to lighten up. Caleb’s never going to lighten up and that’s okay. Jester doesn’t need it. Fjord doesn’t need it. That’s not Nott’s problem.”
Keg is super interested in Nott’s never-ending flask. “I’m abandoning this super dramatic narrative. I’m going for the flask.”
A TPK was possible if the M9 kept throwing themselves at the Iron Shepherds, but Matt knew they were smarter than that and would either flee or give themselves up as Keg did. “It relied on the players’ actions at that point; that’s why I was so nervous. I was like, this is the scenario I built and now we have to see it through.”
Tal honestly doesn’t remember what Liam said to him when he left the table right after him. It was mostly a “well, that happened,” and Liam just refilled his drink before going back to the table.
Tal went home after the show, cried in bed, and then the sun came up and he realized he had no idea for a new character. He spent so much time working on Molly that he never got around to making anything else. He came up with his next idea in about thirteen-fourteen hours, and he’s very happy with it. Matt points out he was explicitly clear about how they needed to come up with backup characters when the campaign started. “These low levels are dangerous!”
Everyone addresses the new studio in terms most respectful and patient, asking it to be benevolent now that it’s had its blood sacrifice.
Keg’s going to grow a vengeance beard.
Brian talks about Ashley’s reaction on the couch; she leaned forward on her knees, looked over at Brian, and said, “I’m gonna kill that motherfucker.” Brian said, “Yeah, you probably will.” They now have a formidable villain for the early campaign.
Tal can’t even answer the question about how Yasha will react when she finds out. “Oh, no. Oh, no.”
Matt and Brian have a retrospective moment of panic about how good it is Yasha wasn’t there that night, since she’s a rage-based barbarian. Matt, wide-eyed: “There would have been no parlay. Oh, no. Next question.”
Keg’s favorite moments were the secret-sharing with Nott and the conversation with Beau. Matt loved their meeting: “When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. It was beautiful.”
Brian’s first desire after the show was to rage-tweet Matt Colville. He, apparently, refrained.
Matt thinks the threat of death should be present and played out when it happens, but he never likes playing DM-vs.-player.
Tal smiled when Molly was being killed because that was both Molly’s reaction, and because Tal himself is a nervous smiler.
Matt doesn’t consider this revenge for Tal killing him off so soon in the Vampire oneshot; Tal reminds us that he knew Matt knew about the very specific subclass he’d given Matt and they both knew what would happen when he went outside.
Tal and Matt reminisce about early PC deaths. “What was that, 2012?” Ashly: “Aw, you guys have killed each other so much!”
They’re asked about the best lie they’ve ever told. Tal convinced someone a nonsense Pirate Queen existed; Matt doesn’t really lie, but when he senses gullibility he doubles down until reality’s rearranged.
Tal started wearing black when Jim Henson died...except that he forbade black at his funeral. The camera zooms in on Tal’s iridescent loafers & his peacock paisley shirt: “This is Molly’s funeral shirt.”
Ashly will definitely be back on Thursday; Tal will be back as soon as the narrative allows it. He’s prepared for Thursday if it works out.
And that’s where it wraps up tonight. Be good to each other; it’s almost Thursday.

hello all! i took my third and final sat on august 25th, for privacy reasons, i will not share my exact scores, but they are in the range for the colleges i am applying to, so i am satisfied with them. here’s my guide to getting the sat score of your dreams; best of luck x
sat breakdown:
evidence based reading section: like act reading but a little more challenging (65 minutes, 52 questions, 5 passages)
evidence based writing section: exactly the same as act writing and language (35 minutes, 44 questions)
math (no calculator): don’t stress tm abt this section, it’s actually easier than math w calculator, main issue (for me at least) is timing (25 minutes, 20 questions)
math (calculator): more complex math, goes up to basic trig and geometry (55 minutes, 38 questions) both math sections have grid-in questions in which you have to write in your answer rather than select a multiple choice option
writing (optional): analyze a piece of writing in an essay, a bit more challenging than act writing (50 minutes)
highest score: 1600
lowest score: 400
general info:
the sat is made by the college board, who also make the ap exams. so if you’ve ever taken an ap exam, you have a college board account. if not, you’ll have to make one. it’s fairly easy to do.
make sure your password is something you can easily remember. if possible, set it so your computer remembers it.
you can later send your scores to colleges using your college board account.
when signing up to take an sat, make sure that you print out your admission ticket early rather than late. also make sure you have clear directions to your testing center if you’ve never been there before.
you will also be asked for an additional proof of id. if you take the sat through a talent search program, this will be provided for you. otherwise, bring drivers’ id, passport, or an sat id form. (the sat id form is kind of a pain to fill out, so i would strongly recommend you bring one of the other ids i mentioned.)
if you’re a senior planning to submit your sat score to colleges, make sure you’ll get your sat scores back before you apply. for this reason, it’s better to schedule a summer test over an autumn test.
cramming the night before probably won’t improve your score. if you have to study at all the night before, do your best section and look over math formulas. (they won’t give you arc length and that’s almost always on the test.)
bring a snack! a hungry brain will not improve matters!
check to make sure your calculator is approved by college board. most are, but you never know.
you can opt to take sat writing on test day if you found out a college you’re interested in requires a writing score. but lots of top schools don’t require sat w writing (all the schools i’m currently applying to are top 50 and none of them require a writing score). you only really need to take it if you have ivy league/uc ambitions.
ways to take the sat:
self study: this method is what most people do. they do practice tests online or through khan academy, or buy an sat prep book and do practice questions. this method is pretty solid, but you have to be disciplined to do it effectively. if you know you can’t motivate yourself to study, this is probably not the move.
sat classes/tutoring: if you have the money to do this, or if you can find free classes, this method is also fairly effective. if you know you can’t be trusted to study by yourself, this is probably the best way to study.
blind testing: this is where you take the test without studying at all. you may want to do this for your first sat, but it is not recommended you do this for any sat after, unless you’re some sort of test-taking god (but if you are, why are you reading this post?)
are prep books worth it?
yes and no. it really depends on the prep book.
i’ve always used the princeton review books. they’re pretty high quality and the questions are a lot like the ones on the sat. they tend to focus more on “tricks” then how to, like, do the questions though, which bothers me a little bit.
college board makes its own sat review guides, which are also fairly reputable. they have former sat tests in them, which can be helpful. however many real tests have already been released by college board online and are thus free.
kaplan also makes pretty good review material. imo kaplan tests are harder than actual sat tests. kaplan is also less focused on “tricks.” which i found more helpful than princeton review’s methods.
the tea on tutoring:
the summer before my junior year i took a kaplan course to prep for the sat. i got a lot out of it, personally. they gave us tips for taking the test at a much faster pace, and i brought my score up by 100 points.
that being said, tutoring is def not necessary for success. the course was p expensive, and it was also a lot of work to keep up with. if you’re already pretty busy, you may not get a lot out of a class because it does take up time.
if you have the time and money, i’d say a kaplan or other test-prep course could be worth it to you. if not, there are plenty of other, less expensive ways to prep for the test.
for example, studying with a group of friends can play the same role as a kaplan class in that it will get you motivated (or shamed into) studying for the sat.
other alternatives:
do not sleep on khan academy! if you don’t know what it is by now, it’s a free website with tons of helpful videos on just about any subject ( i especially recommend it for math and science.) they have sat prep material that has been verified by college board and you can customize a study schedule to your needs, and, if you log into your college board account, you can build a study plan that focuses on your weaknesses-based off your psat or your last sat.
take the psat if you can before the sat. it’s formulated quite similarly to the sat, and if you do well on the psat you may be eligible for a national merit scholarship.
staying motivated:
make a study schedule and stick to it. and be specific with it, so instead of saying “today i’m going to study sat math” say “today i’m going to review geometry topics and do fifteen practice problems.”
don’t attempt to do too much in one day. you will almost certainly get burnt out if you take a full practice test every day or something.
practice tests are helpful, but schedule them for days on which you literally have nothing else to do so you can time them properly (they are about four hours if you practice the essay as well.)
write down every question you get wrong in a notebook, along with an explanation of how to get the correct answer. that way, before test day, you can flip through the notebook and quickly review what sorts of mistakes you tend to make so you can be extra vigilant on the real test.
promise yourself rewards for good work! for example “if i get all the questions right today, i’ll buy myself a present.”
the day before the test, if you have to study at all, practice the section of the test that is easiest to you. this will get you extra confident for the next day.
i can’t afford the sat. what do i do?
fee waivers are available for the sat. see if you are eligible to get one.
is my score good enough?
to answer this question, check the sat “middle 50%” range for the college or university you’re applying. do not look at the “average” sat score, as this is a less reliable indicator of the necessary score needed for acceptance to that college.
if you are in between the scores in the middle 50% range or at the cutoff points for the middle 50% range, your score is very similar to the scores of people who were admitted. at the very least, your sat score will not keep you out of that college.
if you’re above the scores at the top of the range, you have a good shot at getting admitted, potentially with some sort of scholarship money.
if you’re below the scores at the bottom of the range, it will probably be harder for you to get in to that school. however, it is not totally impossible to get accepted, especially if you’re only ten or twenty points below the cutoff for the end of the range.
colleges do not look at just test scores, contrary to popular belief. plenty of people get turned down from top schools with perfect sat scores. recognize that doing well helps, but it’s not everything. the sat is simply a measure of how well you can do on the sat. it is not a valid predictor of intelligence or even success in college and beyond. you are more than just a number. you are. i promise.
superscoring:
chances are, if you’ve taken the test more than one time, your composite score has fluctuated a little bit. you might have done better in math on one test, but bombed english, yet when you took it a second time, your math score plummeted and your english score soared. so which score do you submit?
most colleges, thankfully, won’t make you choose. you can now submit multiple tests, and your highest subscores across the board will be taken to create your all-time highest score. this practice is called superscoring. be sure to check the score policies for the colleges your interested in, as not all colleges superscore (cough cough: the uc schools)
random sat tips that worked for me:
you know those reading questions where it asks you to answer a question and then the preceding question asks you to back it up with evidence? anyway, what i do for those is read the first question, and then, without looking at the answer choices, skip to the second question and select the evidence that answers it. only then do i answer the first question.
learn the arc length formulas. tattoo them on your forehead. they WILL be on the math section.
skip hard questions. they’re worth as many points as easy questions. bubble a random answer in and come back to them if you have time.
remember there’s no guessing penalty, so it’s in your best interest to bubble all the questions. you’re better off guessing one letter for all your unknown questions rather than “christmas-treeing” it. the right answer is not always b or c, contrary to popular opinion so guess a or d if you’re bad ;)
for english, the simplest answer is usually the best.

“Tiger Philanthropist” instant reaction
PREVIOUSLY ON STEVEN UNIVERSE: Tiger Millionaire and Purple Puma won the tag-team belt and saved wrestling! I mean, we are all assuming this is going to be a follow-up to that episode. And while we have seen Purple Puma a few more times since then (and, in one of those lines I thought might be more than just a throw-away joke, Amethyst suggested to Pearl in "Back to the Barn" that she should try wrestling), we haven't seen Tiger since then.
I’m watching straight through with no pauses or rewinds; the clock starts as close to “We!” as possible.
PRE-WATCH: The original "Tiger" episode was by Paul and Raven. Tonight's is by Lamar and Katie if the leaked title card that I couldn't avoid on Youtube is to be believed. 0:20 - Yep. 0:24 - And they are in fact, back in the ring! 0:35 - Uhh. This feels like a dream sequence. Amethyst looks wonky. 0:46 - OH MAN ARE THEY GONNA SMOKY? 1:13 - Lars exists. That's a rarity nowadays. 1:24 - Oh is she gonna retire? 1:30 - Yep. The Purple Puma is retiring! 2:00 - So have they been doing that on a regular basis for what must be two years?! 2:34 - Poor Lars. 2:45 - Tiger didn't even retire! 2:56 - Uh, Lars. How goddamn blind are you? 3:14 - Sadie, the only sane human. 3:31 - I don't recognize these dudes. 4:15 - OK. Exactly what it says on the tin. Tiger Philanthropist. 4:28 - Thanks for the definition of the word, Smiley. 4:45 - I know Steven's super-strong, but this seems like a poor decision. 5:03 - This has to be going somewhere. I just odn't know where yet. 5:38 - Throwing coins at someone, that's a dick move. 5:57 - Lars learned it wasn't really Tiger Millionaire he cared about, but really the Puma. 6:22 - Philharmonic. I chuckled. 6:31 - "The whole thing felt so off" - Parts of the fandom, on SU Season 4. (just sayin') 7:22 - Steven saying true things and, I dunno, not really gaining any lesson? 7:40 - He was doing it to have fun with Amethyst. 7:55 - He looks sad about it... 8:24 - Man everyone hates him. 8:44 - It's the return of those dudes from "TM" that aren't the-- 8:55 - NOW THOSE ARE THE DUDES WE WANTED TO SEE. 9:10 - The Puma returns one more time! 9:30 - Lars is even more confused. 9:55 - With a bang? Are they gonna take a dive? 10:30 - Lars, you're gonna get killed if you get in there. 10:53 - We waited how long for this episode? 11:09 - OK.
INSTANT REACTION: I really hesitate to label episodes as "filler", but I'm not sure we can really take anything from this episode besides "Amethyst wrestled as a way to deal with her feelings of insecurity and not being good enough, and after 'Earthlings' and 'That Will Be All', she really doesn't have that problem anymore." And, uh, yeah, that arc resolved itself... in "Earthlings" and "That Will Be All".

Do tính chất hữu hiệu của nó, đồng thời do nó giảm thiểu lượng nước cần dùng, hệ thống foam hiện nay được tin dùng rộng rãi.

[A Video is Uploaded on 1/19/25. Watch it?]
*[ The sound of the ambient static within these videos is starting to sound familiar now. Grainy, thrumming static runs ever present through the background of the tape. Simon is at the offsite lab again, and the familiarity of the scene makes it obvious that this time there are several chunks of the background that seem to be completely obscured by static on this recording.
Simon: It's taken me a moment to return to the lab. There were some things I needed to handle before returning back here. Not the least of which meant receiving a 'warning' that put me on my back for a day or two. But now that I'm back on my feet there's little reason to delay. So here I am. *[The Sound of the static dulls to a whisper. As if it was backing off just a bit to let him talk. Simon pulls a small stack of papers as he talks and begins to shuffle through them while speaking to the camera. Simon: Now it is, by now, likely of no surprise to you that Pokemon like TM 55 cause c̴̼͘ō̵̺r̸͛ͅr̵̟̾u̵̮͊ṕ̴̧t̶̳̾į̵̓ǒ̷̩n̸͔̄ ̷̪͊o̸̲̍f̷̙́ ̸̻̈d̸̹̐ą̵̅t̷̼̊ả̵͓ when they interact with recorded information, particularly when consuming information. It was proven within another study, who's source I would like to choose to leave anonymous, that when data is corrupted, it destroys both the object, and any references to the object. For example, if I were to write a name on a piece of paper, and the person that name refers to was later impacted by the ZZaZZ effect, the name on the paper would also appear corrupted. It however, would not effect an unrelated instance of the same name being printed elsewhere. It is for this reason, that identification of ZZaZZ victims becomes so impossible after an event has occurred. *[ It is clear enough the reason that Simon would not be documenting such a phenomenon today. Though, he pull a piece of paper from the pile and holds it up to the camera. It is riddled with corrupted text, completely unreadable in spots while, others still have regions of legible text. It appears that this may have been a sheet of notes about the Pokemon O PkMn 4x at one point in time.
Simon: Corruption from either TM 55, or its counterpart do not result in complete erasure of data, as you can see here. Some sectors of data are left untouched, while in other spots, large collections of junk data are left behind where data corruption has occurred. In a pattern typical of TM 55, the data that is destroyed is done in a particular pattern that leaves a hole in the š̶̢̛̛͛̑͒ĥ̴̷͚͎̲̲̝͕̺̟̗̳̬̽̓̑̔̊͝ ̸͓̝̮͐͒̿̚p̶̲̞̈e̴͉̹̭̥̾̇͂̇̃̈ ̵͇̖̲̜͒͗͆̏̀o̴͖͔̪͊͂̄̃f̶̡̬̼͓̾ ̵͍̥̰̔ ̷̷̸̷̸̢̛̗͙͇̫͎̜̟̗̳̯͙͕̀́͑͒̆̓͊̽̊̈́́̒͜͠ͅ
*[ The camera cuts very abruptly. As if the feed there was hastily stitched to a new segment without any transition. Simon doesn't appear to even be aware the sudden cut happened. He is now holding up a different piece of paper. This one, unlike the first, appears to simply cut off half way through the page.
Simon: Unlike TM 55's data corruption, its counterpart deletes data in large chunks, and leaves relatively little behind. As you can see. where this data has been impacted, the text seems to halt, abruptly. Instead of punching holes in the data, it appears as if the page has simply been torn. Now while a third form of Data corruption is possible...
*[There is a Thunk from somewhere off camera. Simon looks up, appearing startled by the sound, and looks around, suddenly alert, and notably, looking tense and almost frightened. Simon: Who's there?
*[ He turns away from the camera, and seems to hover closeby, as if ready to cut the recording at a moment's notice. Simon: This isn't a place to play in. Now I've heard you back there. Come out.. you don't know the risk you're taking by being here.
*[There's a voice that speaks back, but it starts to sound rather overtaken by static and Simon's expression falls, looking shocked. Terrified in fact.
Simon: No, no wait. I'm cutting the Camera, stop-..!

[A VIDEO IS UPLOADED ON 1/06/25]
Watch it?
*[Video is taken in the same spot as the previous two. There is still some light flickering on the video feed, as if every second or two something is causing a wave of static to ripple through the feed. Simon looks a bit more exhausted than he did in the last video, though he still has his energy.
Simon: So some time has passed since the posting of the first two videos, and both appear to still be intact and in good condition. Watching back doesn't produce any pronounced memory loss or confusion, nor does it seem the tapes have been significantly altered in any way, so I would consider this first leg of the experiment a success. *[ His tone is a little shaky, voice laden with static in spite of the fact that the video quality sounded clear.
Simon: You'll notice that last night I did experience some lingering effects after reciting several names that were deemed unsuitable to be spoken on camera. And I received a few messages voicing concern. And while I appreciate your reaching out, I am here to first assure you that I am fine, and no worse for wear. I simply ended the day a bit staticky.
*[ He smiles a little thinly, clearly wanting nothing more than to move on from the topic of his condition last night. In spite of the calm nature of his words he seems just a touch on edge.
Simon: As you might have noticed the name, T̴̡̧̢̛̮͚̼͖͙̹̤̬̹̟̰̥̋̒̃̌̂̾̂͑̆̕͝M̴̻͆̋̀̀̊͘͠ ̴̡̩̤̻͙̹͓̖̻̯͔͓͋̀̌̐ͅ5̸̛̦̫̫͈̓̆̓͑͆̆̈͐͗̌͐̕͠5̵̘͍̖͑͑̌̀̈͆̍̍̂͝ is not a standard Pokemon's name. Instead, it is categorized as a Nickname, but importantly, this isn't just a name that I've given to the pokemon in an attempt to be affectionate. This is a name that T̴̡̛̮͚̼̋̒̃̌̂̾̂͑̆̕͝M̴͆̋̀͘͠ ̴̩͋̀̌̐5̸̛̦̓̆̓͑͆̆̈͐͗̌͐̕͠5̵͑͑̌̀̈͆̍̍̂ itself has chosen to be referred to by. Interestingly, its nickname appeared in my notes directly after it ̴̶̧̺̒͒ ̴̘̀v̷͈͋o̸̎ͅ ̶̪͐ ̵̣͑ ̵̪͛v̵̥̇ ̷̲͆d̶͖̾ ̷͍͒i̶̴̬̩̇̀t̴͍̽o̴̖͛ ̷̛͜i̷͚̐ť̶̫ ̸͚͂ ̸̢̕ ̸͕͂ ̸̝́s̸̯̀ ̵̤̄c̶̣͝u̶̜̐r̵̷̢̛͚͒e̷̝͐n̷̦̓ṯ̴̀ ̸̰̈́f̶̨̿ó̵̷̙̍ͅm̴̟͌.̴̲̋... *[The video feed cuts out to static and remains that way for some time. When it fades back in Simon doesn't seem to have noticed this time, still talking as if nothing happened. Simon: So as you might be able to extrapolate, this pokemon is an extremely intelligent one, and is at least smart enough to want to have some manner of say over its identity. This means that great care must be taken in handling it, and clear, open communication is important. I would consider it about as intelligent as ̷̷̴̶̴̷̷̶̵̶̸̷̶̸̵̵̷̷̴̸̸̷̷̵̸̵̷̶̶̴̶̷̴̷̸̙̙̙̙̙̙̙̍̍̍̍̍̍̍ ̸
*[ The tape cuts for a short while now, static all that can be seen from the feed. When it clears at last Simon has stopped talking. He stands wordlessly, eyes far off, and expression serious as he approaches the camera. A deep, forest green glint can be seen from behind his glasses for maybe a frame as he turns off the camera feed without so much as another word.

Alright... so assessing after yesterday. All that information seems to have stuck around which is amazing news.
I don't... really remember when I got home yesterday though. Or very much of what happened after that. I think Zee and I made tea but that's about the whole of it.
I feel fine now at least...
