Wow, you know so much about Lucy, but what about the other YB characters? (Don, TK)

[I've info dumped Don lore plenty. It can be found in the tags under Don and YB Lore or just Lore. But I think I haven't given TK's info so enjoy this nugget of lore.]

TK has had a rather proper upbringing. Granted, they grew up in a foster home because they didn't have parents. But the foster home TK was settled in basically adopted them. It was a Christian home, but they firmly believed that God's flock is made up of more than one type of sheep. So they simply adored and supported TK in every way. Laid back, responsible, caring. TK hardly ever thinks of themselves, focusing more on those they care about. They can seem like a pushover, but TK knows full well when to stand their ground and push back if tested. They are on the instinctual side when it comes to people, easily reading their body language. In general, TK is a sweetheart who will fight anyone who tries to harm you. Upon turning 18, TK took up a job as a Teacher's aid at a preschool. They did enjoy it, however, the salary was anything but desirable. So TK took on other odd jobs. From cashier, janitor, housekeeping, and security. On their days off, TK loved to practice their drum skills, though it had to be the electrical kind so they didn't bother the neighbors. If Y/N were a single parent, TK would gladly be a parent with them. TK's means of self-defense is a handgun. TK is easy to fluster since they already have a big crush on you. A little kiss on the cheek will leave them bright red. But once they're able to shake that off, expect gentle and tender kisses to come from them. TK's biological parents still stay in contact. They even try to visit TK once a month. The character's sex drive...TK: Low. TK is not much for wanting to rush things to bed. If anything, a good cuddle will leave them fully satisfied. But when things do get heated, TK is very gentle and takes things slowly. How would each character feel about a supportive significant other? (example: jogging together, working out together, both on the same diet, etc.) TK: All for it. TK grew up in a home where everyone does everything together, so they don't mind if their SO is happy to do the same. Though TK was never converted into the faith, they do love celebrating it with their older brother who is Jewish. They will celebrate Christmas, though they feel that the Christmas holiday is a little too artificial for their taste. TK dyed their hair green only because they lost a bet with the Boss. But TK loves the look so much, they kept it ever since. No, the Boss wasn't trying to be an ass. He's pretty chill most days. TK seems straight-up vanilla but secretly loves some furry porn. TK's ideal date is just snuggling on the sofa with you, wrapped in blankets and pillows, watching your favorite show or playing your favorite game. The two of you turn your phones off so that there are no sudden calls to work, no one asking favors or even scam callers. When the two of you get hungry, you both make something together, something simple that doesn't require much effort like opening a can of soup or snacking on whatever is in the pantry. Eventually, the two of you drift off to sleep, curled up against one another. TK will happily make you breakfast in the morning, maybe call in sick so the two of you can repeat the day. TK is a wholesome tender lover. TK's favorite game, which isn't a video game, is Uno. You know how Peter is cat-like and can purr? Well, the other characters also have traits that mimic their animal counterparts. Don/bear can growl. Lucy/cougar can hiss. And TK/wolf can howl.

47 Thoughts While Watching Part 1 of The Bad Batch season finale (spoilers ahead!!!!!)

How did Echo get so good at ship repairs? Unless basic ship crap is mandatory for sudden repairs. Which I guess if you hang with Skywalker, that’s a requirement.

Aaahhh, the Kamino theme is memorable.

So I wonder if Rampart planned to leave Crosshair on Kamino all along?

I love the fact the Kaminoans kept secrets from the Republic/Empire. Like using their credits to fund their own projects.

I wonder how Omega knew about that platform….I didn’t think she’d ever left Kamino. Unless she went there with Nala Se for whatever.

Damn, I’d hate always getting wet when I go outside.

So the pad and lift are proximity sensor based. Not weight.

So the tubes aren’t documented on any schematics. So none of the blueprints that Tech has access to have them on there. That means one of two things:

- there are “official” and “unofficial” blueprints. Like some the Republic were given and the actual plans.

- Nala Se had the tube system built specifically for her.

Private research lab doesn’t mean secret…but still, why did she get a private one? Was it just to create the enhanced clones? Or was it used for more “off the records” projects?

And if there are other tubes that run throughout Kamino, and they’re all secret, WHY!? Like why do they exist? Surely the Kaminoans know they can just go wherever they want whenever they want because they fucking live there. Unless….they became prisoners in their own home….

About how uncomfortable Omega is having to go to the lab…

“why would I be?” He sounded like he rolled his eyes there.

The amount of salt that is being sprinkled by Crosshair right now.

“We didn’t have a choice?”

“And I did?”

Okay so when I first watched this episode, I thought that meant he no longer had his chip. But now I see it as Crosshair not having a choice because Hunter had committed treason by what his orders were telling him.

Also, I love the colors used in the control room. Idk why. They just all work. I think it’s because the rest of that place is so blinding with white light.

So how did they build the tubes under water….

“Most in Tipoca City don’t know about it.” So some do.

Omega sounds so sad. Honestly since I’m certain there were more than just five enhanced clones, since Nala Se said that that was all that remained, I wonder if Omega saw the clones that didn’t survive the experimentation.

About how Tech always looks like he’s texting. I’m waiting for him to take a selfie with Echo or something.

About Hunter still trying to convince Crosshair that this is all influenced by his chip. I think Crosshair knows he’s being used, but he (like the others in Clone Force 99) want some sense of normalcy. Like Echo said earlier, “we’re soldiers, what other path is there?”

Okay the alarm reminds me of the purge siren.

And the indoor alarm sounds like an airport alert.

About Echo taking charge, although I think he naturally is the next in command rank-wise. Do we even know the rank of Tech and Wrecker? What was Crosshair’s rank before?

Omega should’ve gone and tattled on them to Rex. Like “and then they just ditched me!! Again!! I know I have no combat training but still…”

Its pretty clear that Crosshair knows how the team is going to act. Like what tactics they’d use and decisions they’d make. Like on Bracca, Crosshair knew immediately the scanner frequencies were being jammed, because he had seen Tech use that trick before.

“We’re running out of time Commander” I have enjoyed that guy’s voice. It’s soothing.

The way Crosshair spits out “the Republic” makes me think there is something more than just the inhibitor chip at play. I wonder if he’s always harbored ill feelings towards the Republic. Cut had issues with the war that were so strong, he deserted. I wonder if Crosshair had similar feelings.

Wow he is really hurt about being left behind. And I can understand that. But Hunter did have a responsibility to Omega, Wrecker, Echo, and Tech too. He couldn’t risk them being shot and killed while trying to reason with someone who is shooting at him. Of course maybe if he had made more of an effort to get Crosshair to come with them…..of course I do think the Empire has done some brainwashing of Crosshair as well.

“I was one of you. You may have forgotten, but I haven’t. And it’s why I’m going to give you, what you never gave me. A chance.”

I think there is more to this than face value. It could very well mean he’s giving them a chance to join the Empire. But that whole conversion always used the term “choice”, not “chance”. “Chance” is used more as “an opportunity to do something”. That “do something” could be making a decision though. Like “I’m going to give you a chance to join the Empire.” But it could be “I’m going to give you a chance to get out of here.” Hunter didn’t give Crosshair a chance to prove he was loyal to them either. Plus the way the rest of Crosshair’s team reacted tells me they weren’t aware of their Commander’s intentions.

I love how Tech, Wrecker, and Echo are standing there like 😐

I thought it was interesting Crosshair decided to send Omega on a shuttle off world. Of course where would that have been? Just pick some random coordinates and say “good luck”? How would that be received by Rampart? Of course I don’t think he cared about Omega. That was just Nala Se and Lama Su really. And honestly, Crosshair was sounding like he’d actually thought about this. Like if Hunter wants to keep Omega safe, then he needs to realize that she won’t be safe with them. Especially if they’re being hunted. However there may have been an ulterior motive here too. With Omega out of the way, It will be like “old times” when it was just them. He probably feels like he was replaced by a kid.

The change in music though. The emotional, sweeping theme dropping down to a more sinister theme when Crosshair mentions their superiority over regular troopers.

“This is what we were made for.” What if, and hear me out…what if the enhanced clones were created specifically for the Empire. Their deployment during the Clone Wars could’ve been a testing phase. They may not have been prepared for the chance the inhibitor chips didn’t work. Crosshair had mentioned that Hunter couldn’t see the bigger picture. What if that is the bigger picture. That all of them were created to serve the Empire. Not the Republic. Which would explain Crosshair’s sudden disgust with it.

That reflection shot of Tech staring into the mirror. I like that shot. That’s really beautifully animated.

I have a feeling Crosshair knew his new squad wouldn’t listen to him. The “stand down” sounded like he was just saying it to say it. I don’t think he ever had respect for them, not after what happened with Saw’s fighters. They weren’t following him out of loyalty, but fear. And loyalty is a big deal to Crosshair. Honestly I think he had planned all along to kill his new squad. Like from the beginning. Which is why he was trying so hard to get his old squad members. The sooner he got them and convinced them to come to his side, the sooner he could shoot his new squad.

I have a feeling Crosshair know’s the reason why they were all created. Granted that could be brainwashing by the Empire to gain his compliance and loyalty. But something tells me that they were created specifically to become an elite squad for the Emperor.

Crosshair has some serious Anakin vibes when he’s telling Hunter to not become his enemy. And Hunter has some Obiwan vibes with the whole “we never were” line.

I do enjoy the weight they give Crosshair when Hunter flips him. Like the sound of him hitting the floor. He’s heavier than he looks.

Lmao that one TK trooper like “nope, imma get the fuck out of here.”

“Let the clones die together.” Yeah that bitch always intended to leave Crosshair on Kamino. Rampart never actually considered him important since he was the one that pitched the idea of an all conscripted trooper squad. He only had Crosshair as a part of it because Admiral Tarkin still liked the idea of clones. I think Rampart is going to try to climb over Tarkin on that Empire ladder. He didn’t mention to Tarkin that Crosshair was still on Kamino.

Aaahhh now the subject of the chip. Does he or doesn’t he? I think he does. The Empire wouldn’t remove it and take that risk of losing that compliance and blind loyalty. Plus the “does it really matter?” tells me he doesn’t know when, which he would if it was recent. He did have it in the first episode though. It showed up on the scanner and he did the whole “good soldiers follow orders.”

So I don’t think he was going to shoot Hunter. I think he feigned movement to make Hunter shoot him. He may not have thought Hunter’s blaster was sent to stun even. He may have intended to have Hunter kill him.

I do like how Hunter doesn’t hesitate to not bring Crosshair this time.

Damn the shots of the empty facility kills me.

Okay, so I know this was sad BUT the bombardment of Kamino was beautifully animated. Honestly. The underwater shots of the bolts hitting the support pillars. And it reminds me…Omega asked Tech about these the war was like and now she kinda knows. She’s never seen explosions like that.

Carlos sets up a romantic dinner for TK’s birthday and this time they actually enjoy it haha

These two are so cute I swear.  Enjoy a cute picnic for the boys and TK getting some of the love he deserves.  Sorry for the delay on prompts but I am still working on them slowly.  

TK never really celebrated his birthday.

He had two powerhouse parents both consumed in their careers, therefore birthdays weren’t a big thing when he was growing up.  His parties were all when he was young and they were always held and catered at some kids playplace.  They had been fun, but not overly personal.  Then when he was older he partied so much that his birthday was hardly a special occasion.  His parents always presented him with a few gifts and his mom used to make french toast on his birthday, but that was about as far as celebrating went with his family.

Carlos Reyes couldn’t be more opposite of this if he tried.

As far as he knew Carlos celebrated each and every birthday with the four women who meant the world to him.  They knew how to throw a party and TK had been a little baffled by how far they had gone for Carlos’s thirtieth birthday.  The food was delicious and there had been dancing and decorations everywhere in the Reyes’s large backyard.  It had been nice, but definitely not what TK was accustomed to.  He was glad Carlos had his every year celebrated the way he deserved.  TK was certainly glad for each and every one of them that brought him here.  

So when Carlos outright pouted after TK told him he had picked up half a shift the morning of his birthday he struggled to understand what the big deal was.  The pout was adorable and it was nice that Carlos wanted to make his day special, but it still felt weird.  TK told him that he didn’t put much effort into birthdays in his family and that he didn’t consider birthdays to be a big thing.  Carlos simply rolled his eyes and said that was all about to change.  

TK got home to an empty house and it made his heart sink just a bit.  He didn’t want a fuss made, but he still would have appreciated at least Carlos being here.  He had woken up so early that they hadn’t had a chance to even share breakfast together.  His dad was sleeping today since he had an overnight shift so all was quiet on that end.  His mom had sent her customary text and of course Facebook had a flood of customary birthday wishes.  He tried not to let the house feel lonely as he got in the shower to wash away the sweat of his shift.  He took his time to enjoy the warm water and steam for longer than he usually would since it was his birthday and all.  Twenty-seven years might not be a milestone for most people, but TK would never take getting another year older for granted with all he had been through.  Not only his job, but also fighting mental illness meant he was grateful for each and every year he gained.  

He got dressed and primped as much as he ever did then resigned himself to sitting on the couch and scrolling through his phone until Carlos came back from wherever he had gone.  He walked out of their bedroom and jumped when he saw Carlos was, in fact, home already and sitting silently on the couch waiting for him.  

“You snuck in,” TK said a tad breathlessly as his heart calmed down.  

“To my own apartment?  Yes, so sneaky,” Carlos snarked back with a grin and TK couldn’t help but notice how nice he looked in a deep blue button down and pants just tight enough to outline his muscle.   “Happy Birthday, my love.”

“Thank you,” TK wasted no time in stepping closer to his boyfriend and running his fingers along his collar, pulling him close for a kiss once his fingers had reached the ends.  He was about to deepen the kiss to lead to something more when Carlos pulled away gently and brought one hand up to his face.  

“I plan to give you all the pleasure in the world,” Carlos promised him with a filthy smirk before his gaze grew more tender.  “First though I have something else planned for us.”  TK shot him a suspicious look which had Carlos raising his hands.  “I promise it isn’t a party.   Just something for the two of us.”

“Alright, I’m game,” TK trusted Carlos with his life, and he supposed that included birthday plans too.  

“Let’s get going,” Carlos smiled at him and pulled him by the hand out to the Camaro.  TK couldn’t deny he was curious about what exactly Carlos had planned.  His boyfriend wore a grin on his face and he seemed pretty excited for whatever it was.  He relaxed into the seat and really couldn’t think of a better way to spend his birthday than with the man he loved.  

They drove for nearly half an hour before Carlos pulled off the main road and to the edge of a gorgeous open field that had a large weeping willow tree to one side, perfect for sitting under.  The place was one of the most gorgeous in Austin he had seen so far, but he was still confused about what they were doing all the way out here.  The sun was starting to set slowly as he followed Carlos’s lead in getting out of the car.  Carlos stopped at the trunk of the car, popping it quickly and pulling out a basket with a classic checkered picnic blanket along with a few portable heaters to keep off the chill.  It was unusually warm for December and TK could hardly believe he had the boyfriend that would bring them out to a gorgeous spot for a secluded and romantic picnic. 

It only took a few minutes for them to be sprawled out on the blanket with a heater keeping them warm and tea light candles all around the blanket to give them enough light.   It was the most romantic and simple evening TK could have ever imagined.  

“This is…” TK couldn’t even find the words for how he felt right now as the candles danced across Carlos’s face enchantingly.  

“You like it?  Something different for us, but memorable I hope.”  Somehow Carlos had an insecure look in his eyes and TK had to remedy that as soon as possible.  That look didn’t belong in this moment.  He leaned over to kiss Carlos, not hesitating to pour his amazement into the kiss.  

“This is perfect,” TK whispered to him as they rested their foreheads together.  “Thank you for being so thoughtful, and so amazing.  I love you.”

“I love you too, Tyler,” Carlos kissed his forehead and TK could say this was the most perfect celebration he had ever ha
