director cut: The Journalist
Oh it's been a while since we've heard anything from the world of TJOURN. Once again I still have stuff waiting in the notes, at least in term of the prequel series... specifically seeing a different film festival with the pair of them running into the reason for our journalist's actor armor.
For TJOURN proper I had that first moment of dialogue in the first chapter stuck in my head.
“You. Want. A. Story.”
[ I'll put the rest under a cut because, as we know, I ramble. ]
Tom was seething and I wanted to know why. I couldn't quite figure out, at first, why he'd spit the words at someone and refuse to hear reason. Something that happened in his past and with great effort he moved beyond it only to have lightning strike so very close once more. I didn't want to write an actor couple, so was the person he was so mad at a different kind of professional relationship, or someone that was a civilian that got wrapped up in his world.
Ultimately, I thought the idea of a journalist becoming a significant other in an actor's life, and then having details leaked - photos leaked - would be an interesting something to explore. I knew we'd never really learn what happened in his past to make him react the way he did, without a moment of understanding or a second to catch his breath and think, analyze the way our journalist/ his SO was responding to him and say ok something isn't lining up here.
If I remember correctly it was the first attempt at trying to write a story where Tom didn't get the girl in the end, but I failed along the way. (Second attempt being Unsettled, though again - it's been so long the timeframe of which came first is a bit blurred.)
Of course I ultimately caved and went back to flesh out the background - what happened to Tom to make him react so harshly, meeting the journalist that makes him reconsider his opinions about the profession, yadda yadda how they become the couple we see in TJOURN proper. As for our journalist's actor armor and why it came into being... I think I've posted glimpses of it here and there in other ask games but the story of Henners and the journalist and what happened between them awaits fleshing out - somewhere in the piles of notebooks.

Writer questions: F favourite dialogue?
FanFic Asks
F: Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
Not sure why TJOURN's prequel series popped into my head -- and yes I had to dig to remember which one the exchange appeared in but... (TJOURN 0.5 if you're curious. Forget Me Not) Proud of it because it makes me smile and is such a human moment. Gotta love secondhand embarrassment.
You pick an out of the way table and settle into the chair, leaning forward and splaying your arms over the wooden table, allowing your head to thunk down onto its surface with a bit more force than necessary.
Thunk.
You should have listened to your gut. You lift your head a fraction and allow it to hit the table again, the surrounding environment seeming to shake with the impact.
Thunk.
You should have held more carefully onto your actor armor.
Thunk.
You should have better heeded the warnings about The Hiddleston Effect. You had faith that you could withstand the power of his smile, his laugh which you swear you can hear, his overall ability to win everyone over – faith that you would be immune, or at least better able to resist.
Thunk.
There. There’s that laugh again. You sigh heavily, fully aware that it is going to be a long battle to shake him from your system. “Stupid Hiddleston. Stupid heart.”
“Not sure which to address first… the comment or the way it was uttered.”
That was no hallucination of his laugh – that was voiced concern, quickly absorbed by the proximity of the surrounding stacks that would remain mostly empty for another hour at most. You sit up and blink away the lightheadedness from the action. Your eyes seek him out, finding him paused amongst the stacks of books, watching you. “Tom? What are you doing here?”
Thank you for the ask! I could probably pluck a favorite bit of dialogue from every story to be honest.

And another one... What if Tom hadn't been betrayed pre The Journalist? And this was the first time he was exposed?
[ Send me a Weekend What If ]
Oooooh The Journalist ( and the prequel series I've still yet to conclude )
What if Dylan had been a better friend to him. I love it. I'm sure he wouldn't have pulled away from interviews and journalists or harbored such a complicated history... or maybe something else would have happened to sour his taste.
BUT
Thinking about how TJOURN 00 influenced his side of things once we ended up in TJOURN proper... I'm sure his knee jerk reaction to what happened with her phone and the photos would have been more subdued. He wouldn't have jumped, care of her profession and aforementioned prejudices, to the conclusion that she was just like every other journalist out there.
It was SO fun to imagine a furious and spitting Hiddleston and unwilling to take two seconds to think through her clear confusion and horror at finding out what happened care of carelessly leaving her phone untended.

I really, really can't decide. I think YOJA was the first multichap fic in this fandom and I had so much to read!
But the angst that is Unsettled and The Journalist! Keep coming back to that.
I’m right there with you. YOJA being the first big thing I started ( that got away from me. I’ll freely admit to that ) and will always hold a special place in my heart - I was really excited to present TJOURN and what I felt was a different sort of narrative to what I had been reading in the fandom up to that point. Something a little more jarring, something that didn’t leave us cozy and warm.
But then oh - Unsettled. If TJOURN was meant to be jarring. Ha. I’ve said it time and again but the concepts that were within the asks/ prompts I blended to get that story going made me physically ill to think about. ( oh the massive downside to having an overactive imagination )
The angst is definitely what keeps me hanging on to the notion of the prequel series in TJOURN, and unwilling to get us more quickly towards the planned end of Unsettled.

The thing we witness @tinchentitri (that’s been sitting in my drafts for ages, unfinished, but that’s not the point) is a run in at a film festival where she’s attending - I *think* it was written as partially as Tom’s date, partially to cover one of the days of the event but I’d have to go back and re-check that.
A certain someone happens to also be attending and when he runs into the journalist he had a little cardio action going on with awhile ago he starts flirting like it’s old times. He’s changed a little since she knew him, personally and professionally - grown a little... and maybe even goes so far that he admits he was in the wrong for the way he behaved. 😉 We don’t quite get the full rundown as to what happened between the pair of them, mind (that’ll be coming, later, if I can ever get my shit together) but hurrah for finally seeing/ meeting/ learning a little about the reason for the actor armor Tom had to battle his way through.
Also, cause it’s fun: imagine a certain someone walking up to find Henners talking to our journalist. Imagine how he pieces things together from the things being said and what he’s witnessing. Imagine how his microexpressions might betray his inner thoughts.
“What is it like being considered a sex symbol?” He’s a bit surprised by the question and responds by saying, “Oh, God. Am I? I don’t know if I’m considered a sex symbol. ‘I don’t know’ is the answer to that question. I think, I mean, cool? If that’s the case, yay? My brothers will have a good laugh about that.” – Henry Cavill, Prestige Magazine.

November Notes & Nothings - buzz
[ Alright I know it’s been an age and a half since I posted anything related to TJOURN... Apologies to anybody out there waiting for anything further in the prequel series. I think I promised prequels right up to the start of TJOURN proper and I’ve thus far fallen short of that. (eventually I may learn to stop making promises I have no hope of keeping) * Also - wow I really need to get with the program in terms of finishing some of these WIPs* ]
[ The Journalist & the corresponding prequels can be found here ]
Berlinale is the reason that you’re at the Cannes today. The Berlinale Film Festival, which you’d worked simply because you’d been before, had connections, knew the area. Though one of Tom’s films was in the lineup, he was supposed to be elsewhere, working like the ever-busy man that he is --- supposed to be being the key portion of that phrase.
The whispers of his name that had rippled periodically through the crowd of journalists surrounding you did nothing to help the weird pull of gravity on your heart in the direction, you presumed, he might be located while filming. Missing him despite the lengthy phone call exchanged not two days before hardly made sense, but you did. Distractions while working only make the job more difficult. Determined to ignore the yearning to pull out your phone and text him, you pushed to the front of the group as another set of cars approached the drop off point, presumably ferrying the next set of celebrities to the event.
Balanced against – or pushed into, depending on your way of looking at it – the barricade diving celebrities from the media, you tried to focus on hearing yourself think over the buzz created by the journalists and photographers. The other part of your two-man team, the photographer also assigned to the event by your boss, stands guarding your right side, his bag containing the odd camera paraphernalia that wasn’t in use wedged between the pair of you.
As is the norm for every time someone appeared from within one of the darkened vehicles, the sea of media shudders with anticipation, the noise level increasing. Impossibly, as though summoned by the yearning radiating from your core, Tom had jettisoned out of a car, pocketing his mobile and looking dashing as ever.
It was easy, then, to ignore the vibration emanating from your jacket pocket. Tom! He was supposed to be halfway across the world! Not here smiling for the sea of cameras. Certainly not pausing as his attention passed through the journalists he was facing. Definitely not allowing his smile to grow as he locked eyes with you and stuttered into a quick two-step, beelining towards you and ignoring the rest.
Best to avoid such incidents in the future.
His argument, made by candlelight as the last few bites of a magnificent meal were polished off, had seemed sound at the time. It was already confirmed that you were going to be part of the team covering the Festival de Cannes. Rather than a last minute booking on his part, as had happened in Berlin, he was already planning to attend the Cannes as well. It followed, then, that if he was going to be there, and you were going to be there… Well…
Well, indeed.

Definitely yay to more YOJA! I keep on thinking if Tom will really come to Madrid 😅
And a prequel to TJourn sounds great! It’s always nice to read what happened before and after the story or to read it from the beginning of the timeline to the end!
The intention is definitely for him to come to Madrid to see our girl before she’s done filming there. Haven’t quite made up my mind if I have enough to allow it to be a chapter or if it’ll just be mentioned as something that happens. We will see.
In terms of the prequel series, we’ve gained an understanding of Tom’s defensiveness regarding journalists, and gotten glimpses of the reasons behind her ‘actor armor’. TJOURN 0.7 would be learning more about the who behind the so called armor. We’ve gotten hints in earlier prequels but would finally be seeing him actually interact with our journalist. It... makes me giggle endlessly, even through the grimacing and secondhand embarrassment. 😘😘

My favorite story of you is YOJA followed closely by the journalist story. I keep finding myself re-reading these!💞
Hello nonnie dear 💖
As luck would have it I’ve got documents open for both of those stories at this very moment! Yay more YOJA, finally, right? And technically the TJOURN doc is from the prequel series, but still... that counts, right? Both of them are some of the earliest works when I returned to writing fanfiction, definitely some of the first things I attempted for multi-chapter stories focusing on Tom.
Thanks for the note, nonnie!

20, 39, 49 for the Fan Fiction Asks
Fanfiction Writer Asks
20) Are there any stories that you wished you’d ended differently? Ended? More like ‘wish I could find an ending to’... but um, no. Sure, some things have surprised me for the direction they’ve taken but I’m happy with where I’ve left each of the stories I’ve closed the book on. It’s usually the letting go of the characters that I have trouble with which is how we end up with prequels. (TJOURN I’m looking at you.)
39) Do you prefer first, second or third person? Preference has little to do with it, I think. For me it’s just adapting to whichever formatting works best for the story. I enjoy the challenge presented in choosing different perspectives - what you can convey, what can be known, what is forced into supposition.
49) Can you remember the first fic you read? What was it about? The first fic I read was something written by my best friend at the time. She had started gushing about something she’d seen about our favorite musical group and started talking about how she had also begun a story of her own. Actually ended up writing a fic for her for her birthday... and down the fanfiction rabbit hole I went.

I did, while I was digging, also find TJOURN 0.7 -- both versions. So there's some sorting to do to figure out which darned one is the correct one. Past me hates me, I think.
What if the journalist was still having her thing with the actor who led her to develop her "actor armour" in The Journalist?
[ Send me a Weekend What If ]
Oh my dear darling nonnie. Her thing that led to her actor armor ::Henners shame on you::
Let's see if I can find that. Let's see if it's even posted or also sitting in the drafts someplace. Whoops.
SO. Errrr the only thing I found was something that is in fact TJOURN prequel related but isn't the actor armor reason specifically is from the word prompt challenges: Fi-fie-fo-fum there’s an American in my bed
But if you want to know the reason why she's got actor armor it has to do with loosely dating and then having your sex life publicly joked about on television. [See this gifset from when Henner's reveals Superman's Diet Plan]
*Incidentally digging to try to find the snippets already written led me to stumble upon a few other Henners things I'd written so. ha. That was a fun surprise -- contained below the cut*
"For cardio's sake... what do you do for cardio?"
Everything would have been fine if he'd just kept that cheeky grin held in place. Simply shook his head and moved on. Ignored the question.
Your coworkers have a field day. Your friends have a field day.
"So that's what the kids are calling it these days."
"Do a lot of running when he's in town?"
"Better run on home."
Everyone is laughing because it's no secret that you let him charm you into agreeing to something less than a relationship and more than friends. He didn't want the 'messy relationship stuff' and didn't want labels. Since he's been out of the country for several months filming it's more than clear the reason why. The downside to agreeing to a lack of exclusivity in whatever it was that you were to one another is you can't really be mad that he's playing the field.
So to answer your What If the long way round. What if things with Henners had gone differently? I imagine we'd have gotten:
Eyes a little glazed over despite the shower – easy to blame the long day of surfing, swimming, and sun… not to mention the drinking – Henry’s smile seems weary, but content. The vacation isn’t quite the trip that had been planned, what with the training to keep his skills sharp that pulls him away for hours and hours. It’s a complaint, yes, but halfhearted. It’s still a trip abroad, still warm weather and sunshine and a magnificent view – not just the scenery.
And while you’re contemplating all this after having snapped a quick photo on your phone, he’s leaning closer to say something that gets lost in the noise of the beach bar. Moment in time safely stored, you refocus your attention, “Hmm? What?”
The small, exhausted smile he’d worn moments prior changes, expanding into a dimple-showing laugh. He leans closer and as he jerks his head in a small nod he flicks his fingers lazily towards your nearly empty pint glass. “Do you want another?”
“No… I’m stuffed and…” Pleasantly buzzing from the drinks that have been steadily coming to your table. Perks of being Superman, everyone wants to send him a drink. He’s fostered more than one off on you. You keep shaking your head, laughter bubbling up through your words, “too many more and I’ll have to be carried home.”
He shifts in his tiki-esque chair and tilts his head to the side, mock pain at the thought, “Ooooh no, don’t even mention lifting anything. It makes my body ache.”
“That’s a comment about all the surfing and –“ Momentarily at a loss for words you shrug and mime a karate chop, aiming at his collarbone, “stuff, not my weight, right?”
“Right. Definitely not.”
As he’s nodding with emphasis to try to make your scowl disappear the waiter appears with the check. When had Henry signaled for it? Was your waiter a mind reader as well an enabler?
It’s a short walk back to the villa that has been rented out for your stay. At least, it would be if the pair of you weren’t taking your sweet time down the sidewalk. Typically not ones to meander and hinder the flow of foot traffic, it becomes the topic of conversation.
“How many more paces, you think?” You glance aside to study him as you ask the question.
Henry’s frown seems slightly sinister when lit from the streetlight overhead. He doesn’t dare to hazard a guess knowing full well you’d take that many and not a step more. “Too many?” Nodding after laughing along with you and passing from underneath the streetlamp, he looks up at the stars just beginning to be visible overhead. “I know. I’m exhausted, too. Might just fall into bed and not move till morning.”
You sidestep to bump into him, feeling him release your hand so that he can wrap his arm around your shoulders. It’s nearly too warm out for such close contact. With just enough breeze and the proximity to the water, the temptation to pull away from him lessens. He might’ve showered before coming out to the bar with you, but that was long enough ago that the scent of his soap has wafted away along with the heat of the day. “Hmmph. Hopefully not that exhausted. You smell like a bar, Henry.” Plus there are other activities you want to pursue after falling into bed with him, most of them requiring movement.
He draws you up short so that he can lean and audibly sniff your hair, “And so do you. Your point?”
“I’m just voting no to sleeping fully clothed.” You lift your eyebrows as you reply, attempting a knowing smile.
He’s adjusting where his hand lies on your torso as he maneuvers the pair of you back into motion, the pressure of his touch trailing down. Maybe he’s getting the hint. “Oh so we’re voting on it, meaning falling into bed isn’t off the table.”
Resisting the urge to roll your eyes, just barely, you shake your head, “Not the falling into bed part that I was objecting to…”
“And did you harrumph me, just then?”
This time you do roll your eyes, “No. Yes. Maybe. I don’t know. Just shut up and walk, Henry. I’m starting to get sticky again.”
He does sit down and fall backward onto the bed fully clothed, but your steady glare gets him back up again – with a deep, albeit resigned, laugh that makes your skin tingle – and peeling off pieces of clothing. Finally down to his boxer briefs, your displeasure lifted, he settles again on the king sized bed. Only halfway drawing up the sheets, waiting to pull them over you as well, he emits a sigh loud enough to be heard from your position across the room. “Ahhhhh.”
He’s even got his eyes closed. If he falls asleep before you even get into the bed… “Did you brush your teeth?”
Those damned dimples appear, but he doesn’t open his eyes. “Yes.”
“Liar. You didn’t step foot in the bathroom.”
He barely moves aside from the effort taken to reply to you. “Toss me the mouthwash?”
Maximum effort. You suppress a laugh, ducking into the bathroom to snag the bottle and your own toothbrush while you’re at it. He hasn’t budged. “Are you going to catch it?”
“Yep.”
“With your eyes closed?”
“Yep.”
Hmm would he move if you beaned him with the bottle? It’s only a little travel bottle, after all. But then if he’s nursing a bruise it certainly won’t get you closer to your goal, no matter how gratifying it might be in this instance. You’re careful with your aim, the release, and then – WHUMP – the mini-bar-sized bottle lands in the sheets next to his hip. Only then does Henry eek one eye open, first noting the location of the bottle, then to squint at you and note your toothbrush salute.
Teeth and mouth pleasantly clean and unfuzzy, you reemerge from the bathroom. The mouthwash sits on the bedside table next to his watch. Oh-Exhausted-One isn’t snoring, but for all appearances he’s out cold. You twist your lip into a momentary scowl, your libido not thanking you for being nice earlier. You huff under your breath, “Maybe I should have aimed a little to the left…”
The corners of Henry’s mouth twitch into a smile. “Mm very glad you didn’t.”
Ah so not sleeping, not yet anyway. He’s just really enjoying the backs of his eyelids. Maybe if you provide him a little incentive he’ll rise to the occasion. You let the sheets fall where they may as you settle into the bed cause if you get your way they’ll get shoved out of the way anyway. Resting on your side, you nudge him, “You could show me how glad…”
Still with his eyes closed, he lifts his eyebrows. “Tomorrow? Doubt I can even lift a finger right now.”
This time the noise you make is a harrumph, though he doesn’t call you on it. You reach across him to turn off his bedside lamp – saving Mister I Can’t Lift A Finger from having to do that, too – and flop back onto your back to enjoy the darkness and try to figure out how to keep from strangling your celebrity boyfriend in his sleep.
It’s just as you’re about to drift off and enjoy sexually frustrating dreams – you’ve come to the conclusion that you can’t kill him cause (a) too many people would miss him and/or notice right off the bat, and (b) you’ve nowhere to hide the body – that you feel the mattress shift indicating He Who Is Too Exhausted To Move has finally found a reserve bit of energy, probably to go to the loo since he hadn’t done so in prep for bed or while at the bar.
Unexpected contact – his hand seeking out the bottom edge of your shirt and skirting over your hipbone and abdomen – makes you blink your eyes open in surprise, and then annoyance. “Oh! Oh, so you can lift a finger.”
“I think, maybe I can…”
Oh yes he can lift a finger. You attempt to twist and push his hand from between your legs. You succeed just as his fingertips divert towards the edge of your panties, and you feel the fabric ruffle and snap back against your skin as he allows his hand to be pulled away from its task. “Henry… Fuck!” Your loosed explicative comes out breathless as you fall back on the bed again, once again sweating and hot in more ways than one.
His chuckle vibrates the bed, “That’s the idea, honey, though that does require more than a finger.”

🎢 - the journalist series
Writing asks: [ TJOURN series ]
🎢- Were there any scenes you were nervous about? For audience reception or otherwise?
Hello nonnie dear! That’s a good question wherein this series is concerned. For the story proper I really wasn’t hesitant or nervous about it till we got to the moments that were supposed to be in Tom’s internal voice. Not that he hadn’t spoken in the story until that point, cause ha - he’d been very vocal. I just feel like there’s a difference between the way we speak (and speak to others) and the way we write. There’s always a fear that it won’t hit the right mark, strike the right chord, and be one of those things that pulls you entirely out of the story.
In regards to the running prequel series - that I swear I’ll get back to eventually - I think there were a few small moments that I wasn’t sure about and wasn’t quite sure how to research. I guess the good thing about fanfiction is that there’s a level of understanding everyone has sort of agreed to already? You start out in that area of suspension of belief, allowing for a sort of leeway... or maybe that’s just my approach when I start reading.

Meta writers asks: 2, 6, 18, 21, 23
Fun Meta Asks For Writers
Oh goodness! Thanks for the questions!
Okey dokey here we go....
2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project
Ok so current project(s) wise: I’ve had what happens in Turn plotted since the concept for the story sprang from the screen and into my stubbornly-trying-not-to-start-another-WIP brain and can’t wait to get to the end. Future project wise: I’ve given up on keeping the WIPs at bay and have started compiling other ideas and characters and plots and stories. I’ve plotted myself into a ... shit I’ve forgotten the term for it already and need to look it up again. Tetralogy. There it is. Yes I’m a mess. I own it.
6. What character do you have the most fun writing?
It really depends on my mood and WHICH CHARACTER IS ACTUALLY COOPERATING WITH THE DESIGNATED PLOT. [ahem] I love not really knowing what Loki is gonna do, regardless of the ‘plan’ he may have helped orchestrate. I really enjoy it when he freezes for a split second when his agent does something incredibly foolish/ reckless - essentially when she makes life more difficult for him. It’s what she’s good at, after all. Really just point to a story and pluck out any character and I can give you twenty and seven reasons why they’re fun to shove into different situations.
18. Do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterisations?) Tell us about them.
I think I’ve mentioned before that Unsettled was supposed to go a very different way. It branched several times - or at least I meant for certain things to happen and was unceremoniously told NO it was not allowed. I’ve had a couple differing versions of the latest WISH installment written out before scrapping them and starting again. I have every intention of finding a way to work certain elements back into the story at some point, though, so shhhhh spoilers. TJOURN is another that had a different planned ending that I failed to reach. Granted I adore where we ended up but it was a sad day when I had to admit that I wasn’t going to be able to successfully pull off ‘he doesn’t get the girl’. The somewhat mollifying thing that I’m clinging to is that it’ll still work as part of the story, just a branched off section.... if I can ever get back to those prequels.
21. What other medium do you think your story would work well as? (film, webcomic, animated series?)
Oh man if only any of those were options! I would love to be able to adapt any of them into other mediums, or work with someone on adapting them. I’ve only just started stumbling upon podfics while indulging in stories in a different fandom. When I went through my Burn Notice rewatch (and deep dive into the novel etc) I found a few of the associated webcomics that brought to life details that were only mentioned in passing in the series, which I found incredibly cool. So yea, long rambling answer - as is my way - is: YES PLEASE.
23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?
YOJA - the story that pulled me back into fanfiction and reignited my passion for writing. If we go back further I’d have to sheepishly admit that most of those stories original works I’d posted on fictionpress don’t have an ending. I did go back and try to start to rework the vampire trilogy and find the ending that I’d plotted but got distracted by other plotbunnies. Maybe I’ll finish that set of stories. One day....

Do you have a masterlist m'dear?
Hello! There’s a long answer and a short answer to this.
The short, or middling-to-short, answer is yes - and if it’s something TWH related it can be found [here].
The long answer is yes - I’ve got a thing for compilation pages…. to the point it might be overkill [but it’s fun, so there].
The bulk of what I’ve written in the past few years has been related to TWH. Granted when I made the compilation page there were far fewer works to organize. I’ve given it a go but it’s due for an overhaul.
I do have a link that gets updated on rare occasions, a general writing page which includes odd whims I get that aren’t related to anything, but also has a few pieces featuring other actors or characters because who doesn’t dabble in other fandoms from time to time.
A quick and dirty rundown of the TWH things, at least of the big ones…
↠ You’ve Only Just Arrived [YOJA] - multichapter, ongoing - Longest running fic of the lot, and still not finished. Actor!Tom.↠ The Heart of a Villian - multichapter, cowritten, complete [with a sequel slated to appear if I can ever get my shit together] - Villain!Tom based on the Jaguar Art of Villainy commercials. Also featuring (or having face claims) Hadley Fraser, Hayley Atwell, Mark Strong, Ben Kingsley, and Nathan Fillion, to name a few.↠ The Journalist [TJOURN] - multichapter, complete - Actor!Tom, who I lovingly called Angry!Tom for the longest time. This also has a running prequel series, because I just can’t let go. ↠ Close Quarters - oneshot, complete - Actor!Tom (Sunshine), and his neighbor get stuck in an elevator.↠ Unsettled - multichapter, ongoing - Actor!Tom and because I dislike giving things away I’m going to leave it at that and say shhhh, Letta. Spoilers!
Which brings us to the weird, the AUs, and the character fics.
↠ The Manuscript - multichapter, hiatus - Actor!Tom with a southern gothic twist.↠ [I’ll Always Want] More - multichapter - Lawyer!Tom AU ↠ So far there’s four installments to the Loki WISH series: - Careful What You Wish For - Wish Away the Hours - Wishes Are Not Free - A Dream & A Wish
The only other thing I feel I should mention is that there are snippets and drabbles everywhere, and I’m sorry they’re not more organized. There are a fair few that have given theme to them, and they’ve been tagged as such.
If you’re on tumblr mobile I’ve yet to figure out a decent way to link all the fics to the home page that pops up, but I’m working on it. The web version is set up so that if I ever want to change themes the sub compilation pages will be fine but as to the home screen, I’ll be in a pickle. [whoops]
