The Christmas vibe just ain't here for me this year, man. The vibe has pretty much been the normal day to day things, except for no one having to work. Then, last night, my wife went to wrap presents and realized she couldn't find the main gift we got for our youngest son. It was kinda small in size but it was something he asked for and is his current hyperfocus. We looked everywhere for it but didn't have any luck finding it. The good thing is that he's a very, easy going kid and will be satisfied with all the other stuff he'll be getting.

This morning, the wife and I had to run out early to get a few more things for our oldest son. Why? Because he's eighteen and doesn't really want much except money and gift cards. We wanted him to have more gifts to actually open tomorrow so we got a few miscellaneous things for him. We hated being out on Christmas Eve but we were back home in little less than two hours.

Other than some cleaning (mostly done by my wife but I did some too), we've been chillin' at the crib. It's been a gloomy day all day. The sun didn't come out at all. I'm hoping I can shake this negative, IDGAF vibe and attitude I got going on. This season just hasn't had that Christmas-y feeling to it at all for me.
