Genuinely do some people just like. Wake up and go to work and they’re fine? They’re not so exhausted they think about walking in front of the bus instead of onto it???? They just function? I’ll believe it when I see it

Stanley kept eating the soot off the ground. Huh, what's that? It seems like Stanley's lungs have filled with soot, and now he's choking to death!
You know, I could heal you instantly, but I find it fitting you go out like this.
Then Stanley dropped dead.

Simple, and poignant, This Is It? shows that death really does take all. We can’t bring these things with us when we pass on, so we should consider what it is we’re leaving behind.

TECHNO101-MVP Presentation
Tumblr media
Ok! Another week, another challenge
It’s almost time for the end game and I’m pretty sure, no, we’re pretty sure our MVP is an assured success. It can deliver a two-way communication between the base and the receiver and the distance of the Wi-Fi is without doubt A-Okay
Tumblr media
We organized and arranged the materials properly inside and also build our own DIY casing because we can’t be sure if the power supply casing could fit it all so we decided to make our own casing. It was hard and exhausting because of the sides of the casing which is very thick but manage to cut it through. So our casing is done in just 1 day and it was very great to appreciate the little things.

Analyzing, Testing and Handling. Three of these preferences are the key in our MVP. Since our startup is based on our thesis we just place what should have been laid in this project. Analyzing the program using our Arduino software in pc creating a bridge or connectivity towards our hardware. Testing is what we do in finding the errors and many mistakes in the program. Handling the materials is very important because it is very fragile and easily get broken but with the casing I think it should be safe and secured for the mean time (ha-ha) I think.
So we will wait for the outcome, expect what’s going to happen next and put faith in your own creation. Nothing’s impossible!

Today I Learned
that it seems we actually don’t know what happened to the great Library of Alexandria.
The Christians did not burn it, in 391.  That was the Sarapeum of Alexandria, which included a ‘daughter library’ of the main ~Great Library,~ - a smaller collection, at least originally, stocked with copies from the Great Library, where just anyone could go and read.  Because The Library was royal, and exclusive.  And may not have existed anymore, at that point.
Aurelian may have burned it in 272 along with a whole district of the city, when he re-conquered Egypt from Zenobia, rebel queen (self-declared empress) of Palmyra.
The caliph Omar, also, may have ordered it burned, in 640.  Per Ta’rikh al-hukama, The History of Learned Men, the Library by that time was filled only with writings of the Christian patristics; and its books kept the four thousand baths of Alexandria warm for six months.  But this book is the only source for this claim, and was written six hundred years after the event!
So: it is possible, also, that nothing in particular ever did happen to the library of Alexandria.  Perhaps it decayed, as things do.  Books were decomposed, were sold, were weeded out.
In any case... I’ve learned this repeatedly, every time I try learning about history, but it’s still, always, so counter to my instinctual expectations.  That the answers to so many questions, simple questions, definite questions.  Questions where you’d think surely, someone at the time must’ve written down the answer, it wasn’t secret or mysterious then.  Don’t appear to be anywhere!  And that’s part of the job of historians, of course, to try to piece together accidentally-left clues, from all sorts of odd places.
But it’s also, just... your own memory is fragile, fallible, you can’t possibly remember most of your life.  And history appears to be the same.  It doesn’t record itself.  You might think it would - it could! - but it doesn’t.  People don’t.
