Through magical circumstances somehow somewhere in the ml plot, Gabriel and Nathalie decide to stop being villains 🤷‍♀️ very non-canon, very out of character, but also I wanted them to come together and bring Léa into the mansion where Nathalie and her will live with Gabriel and Adrien. This could also still work while they're villains but I'm just having fun 🙈 I also wanted Adrien to have that relatable experience of thinking that since his father is changing for then better now (for other people) that he wasn't worth changing for? You know that one? I like that one. Adrien is weird about Léa and doesn't like her that much at first but they get close eventually bc that's literally what I made this whole thing for. I imagine that Adrien probably moves out as soon as he's old enough though because life is still life and he hates that house. Ouugh all four of them are a good family though. Just kind of awkward and eerie. Also kind of crazy thought if Adrien knows he's a sentimonster can you imagine he's not even related to Gabriel biologically but this weird little child in his house actually is LMAO although something tells me he'd take comfort in not being related to Gabriel.

He has lighter blue feathers, with blue eyes, and his hair is all in one braid down his back, with basht's feathers braided in.

Fun facts about these two:

-they are Teba's great grandparents, and they're a few years older than Revali. The ages seen above being their ages when the Calamity returns (I view Revali as 17 or 18 when the Calamity happens)

-Basht used to have hair almost as long as Emre's, but in his early days of spear training, his hair got caught on the blade of the spear when he pulled it off his back, and it gave him a very impromptu haircut. After that Emre fixed it by cutting it the style it is now, and even if he sometimes misses his long locks, he prefers how easy it is to manage short, and doesn't want to put in the effort of growing it out

- Emre brought the concept of rickrolling to Hyrule, which for him is usually hiding in places around rito village where no one can see him and playing the song, or giving performances and then just suddenly changing whatever normal song he's playing

-Emre was the one to ask Basht out, he asked him out by writing him a song and playing it in front of Basht's entire warrior training class. He said yes, obviously but is supposedly still planning his revenge for the mocking from his training mates

-They're mentioned a grand total of one time in The Champions Bond. They originally started off as just two random names I threw in there for convenience, and now, I love them.

When she grows up a little bit more, he starts actually teaching her how to fight, and use a spear and bow and arrows. (i'll also take this opportunity to note that i doooo hope that promptfest will produce some rarepair fills and prompt amnesty is ongoing. once again please don't flood the form with 20 prompts but if you want to drop one or two for a ship you can't believe is missing from the table…)

size is a challenge here. if the current iteration of tennis fandom were bigger sincaraz would still be the main course but at least you'd have other things to eat as well. rarepair would mean "ugh there's only a dozen fics in the tag" instead of "ugh there are zero fics in the tag." however that is somewhat out of our hands.

so the real, actual solution is… be the change you wish to see. this is not a very satisfying answer. believe me. beLIEVE me. i understand. but after MONTHS OF LABOR³ i'm starting to see the fruits of my rareishpair efforts and i believe you can too. take your character insights and flesh them out a bit, string a couple anecdotes into a narrative (optional), add some illustrative visuals, boom. mayafritzes' janholger post totally sold me and i think a lot of other people! (would loooove to read jannik/holger/invisible presence of carlos alcaraz fic.) of the ships you mention i would particularly enjoy seeing you or someone else do this for ben/carlos. :D if you can seed the ground with a fic that also helps.

anon this ask set every neuron in my brain on fire i’ve been WAITING to talk abt loserboy loverboy sugu……. because that is exactly what he is. he’s a loser. a lover. he loves you so much. he’s so good at hiding it, so good at keeping up a cool guy image, but deep down he’s a soggy little wet cat who just wants to play with your hair and have you play with his 😔😔 i think that once you’ve completely wormed your way into his heart he never wants to be away from you…. he loves just existing with you at home the most . that’s where he feels most at peace. most himself . :(((((( sniffle….

so when you go overseas…. i doooo think he sort of dies a little. very much turns into a little yearner!!! our little sad soggy cat!!!!! he WANTS to be normal about it so badly because . he knows it shouldn’t be a big deal if you’re away for a week or two. it shouldn’t be. and he desperately wants to pretend that he’s okay because satoru and shoko keep calling him codependent and he wants to prove them wrong. but i think he lasts like…. a couple days before his distractions stop working and he notices that everything just feels kind of wrong. like. where is his little baby!!!!!! where is his little baby who plays with his hair and eats his breakfast and smiles at him so sweetly :(((( he just feels sooo bored and so lonely and so mopey and after a while he gets bad at hiding it. satoru and shoko can’t bring him anywhere because eventually he WILL sigh longingly and go “i wish y/n was here.” sad little baby boy. 

when you’re talking on the phone i think he tries his best not to let you in on it though….. he just wants you to have fun where you are. he doesn’t want to be selfish and whine for you to come back :((((( even though that’s all he desperately needs…. i think he’s patient enough to just . wait . but he misses you. i don’t think he sleeps or eats very well when you’re not around either… but he really, really tries!!! and i do think he reaches a functional state eventually . especially if you remind him to take care of himself extra while you’re away :3 then he’s like . oh well. i guess i Have to. since they asked so nicely. say what you will but i think he’s whipped..

and when you come back……. yeah. you’re not leaving the house again anytime soon :33 he WILL keep you hostage in his lap on the couch and he will feed you a nice warm handmade meal. kisses your head every two seconds. cradles you soooo close . he needs to recharge!!!!!

Weekly thoughts, ep 174-

Not a huge episode, I know. I once again don't wanna call it "filler" because we saw important things like revealing the situation Rex is in as well as seeing Lyss making contact with Lauro and Rosie. But I know nobody is calling the episode that is mostly Stella on a talk show their favorite ep haha.

Anyway, as for my actual thoughts-

First off... I think you can thank all the marketing I got for Late Night With the Devil for this episode being a talk show. I think it would have absolutely been just another tv broadcast if I hadn't gotten 2039480293 tiktok ads for that movie and went "ooh, a talk show would be a nice break from how I normally deliver recaps/exposition" lol. (honestly, if there's one thing i think i'm guilty of in writing this comic, it's using the news on TV too much to deliver exposition lol).

But anyway, I thought it would in addition to be a way to show how Stella's being framed as this charming personality that has Glory City's best intent at heart, rather than just a cold, straightforward news cast or press conference. In addition, I thought it'd be a fun contrast to....everything that just happened.

I'm glad everyone picked up on how callous they're all being, with never once saying Desmond's name, and only thinking of the ""human victim"" (who is physically fine as she grieves the ACTUAL victim they barely acknowledge).

Meanwhile, also glad the part with Shnee got across. I doooo think it flew over some peoples' heads that Stella was actually referring back to Christoph, and how Finze partially blames himself for his death (as his mentor and the fact he was on his way to his place when it occurred). He brought Desmond along on this too, so he's really feeling like he's responsible for getting two people killed by red blanks.

Not super relevant to the actual episode, but I got a lot of asks about it in my QnA on IG this week- Finze won't take permanent ownership of Shnee. He's just with him while Lyss is occupied, then Lyss will probably take him, then... there'll probably be a decision if he stays with her or goes back to Lauro, since they've officially made contact. I'm actually not sure myself and have been sitting on the decision for a while.
