He'll even make you a personal playlist with secret songs only meant for you to listen, even if the lyrics are highly unhinged like;

•If he sees you painting your nails, he gets offended because he's your personal nail tech.

I definitely see him as the type to tell you,

•Definitely the type to wake up no matter how late it is if you need anything. You're hungry? He's up and running ready to cook, go to the convience store or order food for you. Anything his princess wants. You got your periods? You think he already doesn't have your necessities stacked in the dorm bathroom already? Pads, tampons, everything- even if you're on cups, he'll always keep them ready for emergency purposes and incase the other dreamies have their girls over and they need it. He proudly admires his work and when you thank him he "kisses your ouchie" to which you cringed out for a solid five minutes.

•He's the type to say, "I GOT IT" to everything you're about to do.

Opening a jar? He's got it. Opening your apartment door after a date? GASP YOU JUST GOT A MANICURE, HE'LL DO IT. Reaching for the shelf to grab a mug? He's got his Johnny hyung to get it for you cus he can't reach it either.

•He absolutely thinks it's his job to make you laugh. You literally cannot laugh at another guy's jokes now. Mark is an exception tho, he'll fite you for Mark. How dare you not laugh at a stupid joke Mark made.

•Speaking of fite, He'll let you win all playfights. This is how you know shit is srs between y'all. Haechan is competitive. But he'll let you win. I know its an unpopular opinion.

•Especially if you don't have much in common with Haechan and start showing interest in gaming and ask him to teach you, he'll go very easy on you. Yknow, set his pride aside, let you win a lot of games before actually becoming competitive with you as well. Still he won't ever admit it even years after being together- if you have a particularly bad day, he would let you and not make it very obvious, even if you call him names and make fun of him for being a loser, he'll just have a lovesick smile on his face and stars in his eyes as you're doing a dorky winner dance for beating him.

The 127 boys are very proud of their maknae, he's surely grown a lot. You're both still incredibly immature but they love you together.

mamamoo are so great cause they sing so well and they have minimal dancing which is nice compared to newer girl groups where its all dance glitz and glam or they look dainty and doll like, it sometimes isnt really relatable imho. it just doesnt hold my interest in them fully cause its not my personal taste or again their age might be lack in experience if any of this makes sense? i cant get a time machine and go back to the 50s and the only other relevant music nowadays is kpop so either they should bring more variety or i will eventually forget about kpop cause its always the samey tiktok stuff

Okay since I have a few free hours for myself I thought I'd finnaly sum up my thoughts about the NCT Dream show in Berlin. And since I'm the "Do not step on the grass!" type of boomer, I'll start with the negatives.

First of all, what the fuck.

The event page said "camping not allowed," so I was kind of surprised when I saw several queues and people sitting down by the entrances with blankets and stuff the day before. But whatever. When we reached the arena around 4PM the next day, we were impressed by the way the queues are lined and how people are pretty organized. Right at the front, there was like a "camping site" where a bunch of people was sitting down in their blankets, on pillows, with their stuff, food, drinks, everything..... They were sitting right in front of the entrance, right in front of the door, surely they'd reach the stage first. But for whatever reason as soon as the door opened and they started letting people in, they abandonded all their stuff? Just left it on the ground. For other people to sprain their ankle on. I couldn't believe it, by the time I got closer to the entrance, I stepped on several blankets, duvets, full unopened bottles of water, somebody's dinner leftovers and dozens of posters that the fans were oh so proudly holding just a moment ago. I don't understand why you have to act this way? Please be responsible for your stuff???? Act like an adult, you are not 13 years old. I don't speak German but there are certain words I do understand and one of them is "schwein" which a German mom in front of me kept repeating, and I felt so embarrassed for the whole community. Shame on you. And shout out to the homeless guy who got really rich that evening.

Second of all, I can't blame people for being tall, I can't really blame the fans for waving the lighsticks even when they're holding it five centimeters away from my face making me blind, cause that's what you do at concerts. But come on, stop with the phones, guys, please! People shooting whole freaking movies like some girls didn't even stop to look at the actual stage, the Dreamies were 10 meters away from you!!!!!! I wanted to shake them so bad like "Look!! They're there! The actual humans!! Right there!" But like whatever, you want to shoot the whole thing, sure, film away, but do not obstruct my view please. It was already pretty hard to see and then when everybody and I mean everybody held up their phones, I literally couldn't see anything. Just the screens. I was mad and very very frustrated. And what nearly drove me over the edge was the fans that wanted to capture the atmosphere of the arena by filming the fans too. People sitting a hundred meters away from you in the dark probably wouldn't mind, but me standing next to you sure do mind a lot. One of the girls in front me made a panoramatic shot every 30 seconds, her phone would fly centimeters away from my face, I'm telling you, girl, I do not want to be in your video. I don't.

All of this made me genuinely not enjoy the show. I couldn't see properly, not only the stage, but also the big screens. All I could see were the phone screens which made me feel like I'm watching just another YouTube video. I also got super self-aware and was too scared to move or shout or sing cause I knew all of that is going to be in yall's videos so...

tldr: a week or so ago taeyong posted a tiktok with chaewon's "dododok" mistake and got so much hate from knetz he deleted it + a few members were dancing during yuta's ment at nct nation and people were calling them disrespectful for that but only focused on haechan.

a couple days ago ty posted a tiktok with a silly remix audio of chaewons "dododok" mistake she made at a le sserafim's show on tour. that mistake literally went viral and basically all of the kpop industry laughed and copied it and called it cute, because that's what it is, just a cute little mistake we can giggle at and move tf on. the audio ty used was funny and created a trend that is currently going viral in korea.

instead of laughing, calling it a cute interaction, and going about their lives, knetz decided to wake up and be horrible people. what else is new bruh. of course big bad ty had an evil plan to mock the poor defenseless kim chaewon for her terrible mistake that deeply affected her..

please i almost kilt myself when i saw he deleted the tiktok. this is how jesus fans felt when he died like ty is quite literally an angel, his eyes sparkle and he giggles instead of laughing, how can you take him in as a person and still decide to actually bully him for next to nothing. like.. maybe you need to die idk.

and what gets me is the way they were acting like she said her dad died and he used an audio of that. its not that fcking serious dawg. she laughed at the damn joke herself and if they dont stop and pray that he privated the vid instead of deleting i will actually place a generational curse upon the families of pannchoa girls who cant keep his name out their mouth and I STAND BY THAT

and my bias, my boyfriend actually, my snookie ookie pookie bear haechan, god give me strength before i type this bullsht : during the last nct nation concert yuta started giving his ment in japanese, and some members at the other end of the line began dancing and messing around. they immediately stopped when ty motions them to. again, it isnt that fcking serious, but jobless neo investigators created discourse out of it. they didn't interrupt yuta or cause a fuss, they were literally just fidgeting around to pass the time because 20 speeches is a whole lot to listen to in silence.

"Ai, baobei," Huang Renjun's voice was feathery soft like his touch that coaxed you out of sleep. There was a terrible pounding in your head as you attempted to raise your head from where you were slumped over your desk. When a whimper fell from your mouth, he was there to hold you up so he could cradle you against his body. 

You must have fallen asleep while catching up on your assignments. For some reason, your classes had all decided to body slam you with things to do, and while you were out sick, too. At this rate, you weren't going to get better anytime soon. 

"You poor thing," he cooed, hand smoothing over your hair. 

You pulled away to sneeze a couple times, and pawed his hand away when he tried to tug you back. "No, you're gonna get sick, Jun—"

"At least sleep in bed," he cut in, and this time when he took your wrist, you let him guide you over to your bed and tuck you into the covers. He sat on the edge, the back of his hand placed over your forehead. He tsked at the heat he felt. "Fa shao le," he murmured. "You've got a fever, baobei. I'm gonna run to the store for meds and some stuff for soup, okay?"

You gave a small nod, face half hidden under the blanket. "Thank you," you whispered.

You closed your eyes—willed, hoped, and prayed that this headache would fade when you woke up. MARK LEE — neglect

mark loves you, it’s obvious to anyone who looks at you two when you’re together. he smiles brighter, laughs a little harder, holds you close to his chest and presses the softest kisses to your face. mark knows that what he feels for you won’t go away, he knows that you’re the one for him and you love him just as much as he loves you; unconditionally. 

what he didn’t seem to understand, however, that relationships and love were more than just a good morning text or getting lunch together once a week. it’s more than the occasional invitation out somewhere or telling you that he loves you at the end of the phone calls you get occasionally. you know he means well, he tries his best but it just isn’t enough. 

you’re lonely, your apartment is empty when he’s not there but it’s felt like that far longer than you’d like to admit. there are only small things littered around your place that suggest that anyone other than you had ever been there; the two toothbrushes in the bathroom or the matching slippers near the couch, one pair still looking as good as new while the others, yours, look worn in. 

to him, as long as you love him and he loves you (which he does, very much), you’ll be fine. you’ll be able to overcome anything together; even his long nights away from the apartment that you’re not even sure if he calls home anymore and his lacking ability to show that he cares if you’re not right in front of him. you don’t want to leave mark, not now, not ever, but you’re not sure how much longer you can live with his ghost. 

HUANG RENJUN — insecurity

your mind was always buzzing with thoughts, most of them about your relationship with renjun. anyone could look at him and tell that he was beautiful, that he was like personified moonlight with little stars shining in his eyes, and no matter who told you differently, you could never see him as someone in your league. 

you weren’t pretty enough or funny enough or smart enough for someone as perfect as renjun. you’ve never told him this, of course, why would you? you don’t want to bother him with these stupid little insecurities, you want to keep the smile on his face. the way you see yourself is so different from how he describes you and you can’t help but fear that one day, he’ll realize his worth and walk away.

similarly, renjun isn’t sure why you’re with him. he doesn’t think he’s particularly handsome, he’s not super muscular, he’s not very tall and he can be a little passive aggressive. there are so many more people who could make you happy who are better than he is so why are you still here? he doesn’t tell you this either though, he doesn’t want you to see him the way he sees himself and leave him; he’s not sure his heart will be okay, if anything in him will be okay.

because you don’t mention the festering insecurities that pick at every little thing you two consider flaws, neither of you can comfort the other, neither of you can reassure the other that they’re not flaws, that they love those little things. it just builds and builds, the feelings weighing heavy on both of your shoulders until you can’t take it and then, piece by piece, the picture perfect relationship you two thought you had crumbles in front of your very eyes.

LEE JENO — right person, wrong time

you knew jeno was it for you. you knew that no matter where your life took you, who you met and what you did, you would never love someone as much as you loved lee jeno. he was perfect for you in every way, so much so that you were convinced you had probably met your soulmate. and over the course of your relationship, you realized that jeno was your soulmate. if only the universe didn’t make him appear in your life the moment your life was spiraling out of control. 

you, like most people in the world, were facing a lot of problems at once. school, friends, your family, you had so much going on at once that it was hard to focus on your relationship with jeno. he wanted to help, noticing how pent up you seemed all time but you just couldn’t allow yourself to let him see how badly things were getting. and that’s when you realized it. 

you were like a sinking ship and jeno was still on board, he’d drown if you didn’t force him away. you loved him more than anything and you knew he loved you but right now, all you were doing was hurting him and neglecting him. he deserved someone who was emotionally available to him right then and you knew you couldn’t be that person, not right now. so you make the hard choice of letting him go.

jeno was heartbroken, apologizing for things that didn’t make much sense, pleading for you to stay. but both of you knew that as much as you loved each other, it just wasn’t enough to look past how toxic things were with your current state. until you got better, until you could love him with everything you had, until you could commit your heart to him, you couldn’t make him stay. if you were soulmates then the universe would bring you back together. it had to.  

LEE DONGHYUCK — inability to change / taking you for granted

if donghyuck is anything, it’s consistent, though that’s not necessarily a good thing. his habits of eating other people’s leftovers or snoring in his sleep are manageable, but his consistency extends beyond those small things. his inability to change has always been the downfall of your relationship, right until the moment it ended. 

“you shouldn’t have to change for your significant other, no matter what they say. they’ll love you for who you are”.

you hear that a lot nowadays since you and donghyuck seem to argue over it so often. he’s young and he wants to have fun while he can, he wants to stay out late and drink too much and laugh at cuts and bruises he gets along the way. sure, he loves you but is it more than his desire to live his life the way he fully wants to?

in his mind, you’re too sensitive and too uptight for the lifestyle he needs. you don’t laugh at all his jokes, instead often scolding him for his timing, and you don’t like parties as much as he does, you’re no fun at the one he drags you too anyways. you’re too high maintenance when all you want is for him to spend one night in with you watching movies with some takeout, one night for just the two of you, one night where he at least acts like he cares.

and he does, of course he does, he’s your boyfriend. he cares but not as much as you want. donghyuck takes everything too casually, he’s too carefree to worry about the little things. you love him and he loves you, that’s all that should matter in this relationship. at the end of the day, you’ll still be by his side, you’ll still lay next to him in bed and he’ll wake up next to you, holding you close. right?

NA JAEMIN — accidentally leading you on

jaemin is far too nice, you think to yourself, now heartbroken in your room as he tries to text you, call you, anything. you weren’t expecting your confession to go well necessarily, but you definitely didn’t expect the obvious look of shock on his face and the way he quietly whispers “i’m not sure if i could ever see myself dating you”. of course, he hadn’t meant to say it like that but it slipped out before he could process it and you’re not giving him the chance to explain, though he’s not sure it would make anything better. 

you’re convinced that na jaemin is one of the sweetest people in the world. he feeds the stray cats and dogs in the streets, he holds the door for anyone and everyone, he’ll split his lunch with you if you forget yours. unfortunately for you, you thought that some of the sweet gestures were exclusive to you. 

the playful nudges when you sit next to each other, him linking his pinky with yours in crowded areas, the hugs where he sways with you while whispering jokes into your hair, driving to mcdonald’s at 4 am to buy you chicken nuggets; so many things that made you fall for him, things that made you think that it was a sign that he liked you too. and now you know, you were wrong, very wrong. 

jaemin never meant to hurt you, not now, not when you first became close. his love language is physical touch so he’s naturally clingy towards people he likes, completely platonically. he makes playlists for all of his friends, he sends everyone “happy birthday <3″ right at midnight, he plays with everyone’s hair if it’s within his reach. he feels horrible that he lead you on but, as horrible as he feels, his heart doesn’t beat for you and he knows he can’t force it to. 

ZHONG CHENLE — miscommunication

chenle’s a great listener, always willing to help you get through tough times in your life, ranging from your parents to school to your friends. what he’s not so great at, on the other hand, is talking. it’s easy to tell when chenle’s upset. it’s obvious by the look on his face. despite this though, you can’t remember the last time he told you what was bothering him so much.

he always looks up at you with that sweet smile and tells you not to worry, that he’s okay, just tired, that he didn’t sleep well, everything but the truth because as easy as is it to tell when chenle’s upset, it’s even easier to tell when he’s lying. you don’t ever push it, knowing that some issues are too personal, even for someone’s significant other to know, and you respect that. 

so it came as a rather large surprise when you overhear chenle on the phone with a friend, rambling about how stressful his life has been and how much he’s been struggling to stay on top of everything. he doesn’t tell you this because he doesn’t want you to be disappointed in him, ashamed of him, but it comes off the wrong way to you, especially when you confront him.

“it’s just... hard to open up to you,” he says, immediately wishing he had phrased it better when he sees the hurt on your face. he knows that there were better ways to express his worries about opening up to you than telling you what sounds like the equivalent of he can’t trust you, but he panicked, thinking you had heard what he was rambling about. the miscommunication becomes mistrust in your mind and before he can stop it, a void has begun to form between you two, one he’s not sure he can fix. 

PARK JISUNG — too young for love

jisung was always babied amongst his friends for being the youngest, his cheeks pinched and always cooed at. what better way to prove that he’s matured than be in a committed relationship? he’s always liked you, everything about you, especially since you don’t treat him like a child that’s just learned to walk. so he asks you out, texting his friends with a proud smile on his lips, telling them that he got himself a significant other. his friends are so shocked and excited and nosy that they don’t even notice how red jisung’s cheeks are, finally not teasing him, filling the youngest with a sense of pride. 

dating jisung feels like a rollercoaster; somedays, you swear you’re the happiest couple in the world, that nothing could ever make you doubt how he feels about you and the next, you question what you mean to him. there’s no doubt in your mind that the first feeling is love, the warmth the blooms in your chest and spreads to your cheeks, your heart beating so quickly that you’re scared it’ll fly out. but the latter makes you wonder if jisung is serious about you, if he wants to move past the “crush” stage to the “i love you” stage. 

you feel like some trophy that he shows off to his friends, something to prove that he’s mature enough to balance a relationship amongst his other responsibilities. you know he doesn’t mean to do this, jisung’s too sweet to do that but the fact that it’s unintentional doesn’t make you feel any better. eventually, you realize that you can’t stay, you can’t force yourself to pretend to be okay with the way his arm only slips around you when his friends are around or that he only kisses you when you’re alone.

it breaks your heart to see jisung so distraught when you bring it up, when you make it clear how differently he treats you when you’re alone and when he’s with his friends. you explain that he wasn’t a bad boyfriend or that you didn’t like him but you two were just too young to expect it to go as far as you were envisioning. you were just too young to fully comprehend love. but that doesn’t stop you from whispering the three words as you leave, pressing your lips to his cheek once last time. once the warmth on his skin disappears, jisung realizes that he hasn’t matured, not at all, because if he had, he wouldn’t have hurt you the way he had.

observations on rising signs

may not apply for everyone ‼️

usually it's kind of hard to tell someone's ascendant if it's a mutuable asc,, i don't know how to explain it but the mutuable signs tend to kind if look like each other? so if it's really difficult to guess someone's ascendant, they could possibly be a mutuable ascendant

this has been mentioned so many times but pisces asc truly do have such GORGEOUS eyes, they're almost deer like and they probably look like bambi lol

speaking about pisces ascs, i've noticed that they're usually well liked,, not sure what would be the exact reason but i would sum it up to the "serene" vibe they give off

this is probably a known fact but no matter what your ascendant is, if you have any planets in the first house i would honestly rather go by the sign that planet rules because it can seriously affect someone's impression on people SO MUCH especially if the element of the planet and the sign are literal opposites; if you have sun in 1h and a water/earth asc you'll probably come off a lot more bold and confident than you think

if you find yourself unable to relate to your ascendant it's important to (not only consider any aspects and other placements but) remember that your asc is kind of how other's see you, etc. if anything i would honestly ask someone to read the desc of your asc and ask if it fits you

scorpio ascendants/pluto 1H people might have a lot of moles on their body, have darker or tanner skin compared to others, and have darker/thicker body hair

leo risings don't have to always have a lot of hair in order to pass off as one,, i've especially noticed that if there's nothing necessarily noticeable about their hair, they just have nice hair in general

leo risings also probably look like a cat (may have feline features)

honestly i don't know why but i tend to mistake libra risings as virgo risings and vice-versa ; there's something very similar about them

I mean this in all seriousness, someone the exact opposite as haechan. while we can see in rare times that he does care for him, doyoung usually cannot stand haechan and all his tricks and taunting. as his confirmed type outlines, doie is really looking for someone who takes things seriously and listens to him well

I think he often feels underappreciated - a lot of times during his mv viewing reactions, the editors show another member during his part or just cut him out and you can tell he’s really disappointed (it hurts my heart). he would really like someone who goes out of their way to make him feel appreciated. 

when nct 127 went on oshiete japan, doyoung was the only one to pick the potted rose and the psychologist there said that it means he isn’t looking to just date around, but rather to settle down and have a stable relationship. I strongly believe that doyoung is looking for someone long-term.

also, his love language is giving gifts (from my observation since he often gifts the members foods during mv shoots and gifted TY the couple ring). my best guess is that he’d want to spoil his partner a lot with gifts to show his feelings. someone who appreciates his gifts and understands that they come from his heart

he thinks ariana grande is hot so that’s the only visual thing I can think of. she’s obviously very gorgeous but she’s petite and has an amazing voice

confirmed: a kind woman with long, straight hair who can communicate well with him. someone dependable, healthy, and into sports. someone usually calm but can be cute. doesn’t care if she’s older or younger. someone similar to him. someone like singer/actress IU. 

my thoughts: 

he has a lot of confirmed facts so I don’t have to make many assumptions here. someone with girl next door energy? 

he says he likes IU, so going with that, someone petite and cute. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and treats everyone with kindness.

I think J was born to be romantic (literally, born on valentines day). he said his previous ambition was to be a teen dad and his lines from make a wish english version “spoil her with loyalty” sum up my next prediction: he wants someone like a best friend who’s in it for the long run

my thoughts:

he said his favorite actress is shu qi. although I don’t know if he just likes her acting or if she actually fits his ideal type, she is a traditional chinese beauty which I think winwin appreciates

he’s really introverted and is often overwhelmed by affection (i.e. all of the nct members). the exception is jaehyun and winwin seems to be the most comfortable around him. this makes me think he wants someone calm and chic

sicheng prefers staying inside to going out. not to diagnose him at all, but I reckon he can get socially anxious around large amounts of people. he’d like a partner who doesn’t overwhelm him and understands him

he really can’t cook (he couldn’t turn on a stove to make an egg on winformation). in the end, it wouldn’t matter, but i’m thinking that if you can cook you’d certainly earn some bonus points with him. it’s like that saying ‘the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’.

my thoughts: 

of all the members, I think jungwoo has expressed the least about his ideal type. not to make any unnecessary assumptions (but that’s all this post is really), but someone said he has strong bi energy. I can’t say anything because I’m not bi myself and I’m not him, but I can see this being a thing. take this with a grain of salt because I don’t actually have evidence

during oshiete japan, he was the only one to pick the large bouquet of roses to give to his ‘lover’. the psychologist analyzed this as him liking to pretend that he is in love and wanting to show his good side. he “can’t express his real feelings and doesn’t want to ever show his lame side to his lover”. because of this, I strongly feel that jungwoo would need someone who lifts his confidence and reassures him

the members he gets along with the most are probably yuta and mark. their personalities are quite different but based on their similarities, I think he is attracted to confidence, open-mindedness, and good work ethic.

hello and welcome back, everyone! i’m back with another perfume review of nct’s jeong jaehyun’s perfume collection! i love smelling and collecting perfumes so this was a perfect excuse to know how he ‘smells’ like!

in this post, i will be reviewing:

again, for each of the scents, i will be adding photos associated with each perfume along with my reviews/reactions and listing if it’s masculine/feminine, my recommendation, and rating!

disclaimer: again, this is NOT an advertisement but simply a fun and personal review of his perfume collection! but seriously an endorsement deal would be nice like i’ve seen so many people buying his scents after publishing my first post

before you buy!! some of the fragrances will react differently on your skin as the scents are based on your body chemistry with certain chemicals listed on their ingredients. thus, you may smell a different scent when sprayed on your body than on mine. not only that, some of the perfumes utilizes synthetic ingredients, which can be a deterrent for those with a sensitive nose. i strongly recommend sampling them out at local stores before purchasing as these brands are expensive.

and i would like to add that i’m also not a big fan of spicy scents

initially, i wasn’t too hyped of the scent after spraying it on my forearm bc the spice overpowered the vanilla a little

but after it settled and the intensity of the spice faded a little

it smelled so sEXY OH MY GOD

like i’m just imagining him using it??

i was having thoughts the whole time and i still can’t stop thinking about it

but yeah i’ve noticed that with the tom ford scents: it smells soooo much better once you let it settle on your skin for a bit

if you were to ask me to pick between this scent and white suede, i’d pick white suede by a close margin

they’re both very distinct but so charming in their own ways

A Review on NCT 127′s 3rd Album <Sticker>

So NCT 127 just came back with their 3rd Full Album <Sticker> and this is my first 127 comeback since I became a fan last year! Neozone is such a special album for me as it was their first album that I explored entirely. I've known NCT as the group who never fails any expectations so I've kept mine up although I know they'll exceed it anyway. And guess what, they did! I absolutely love their new album hence this review~

This isn't a technical music review—as I am not a musician myself—but rather a listener's honest takes, goofy notes, and interpretation on each of the tracks in the album. I admit I've also struggled to build my own opinions on some of the tracks until I listened to them over and over again.

I have also heard there are mixed opinions on the title track <Sticker> and a lot says it's another acquired taste. But I think it's not just that, as it can be a grower, just like how most of NCT's songs were for me. Maybe after a few listens and a right passage of time, it will grow on those people. The bottom line here is, I like it a lot! 😛

So I listed down the songs according to their respective track numbers and followed each with a bulleted list of my opinions and interpretations.

1. Sticker

THEY DIDN'T JUST PUNCH A NEW NOTCH ON THE BELT LIKE THAT

THIS SONG SLAPS, LITERALLY SLAPS… AND WHIPS 

The recorder at the intro boyyyy I thought something was wrong but then I remember it’s NCT lmao

It already stuck in my head from my first listen from the Instagram audio.

With Taeyong opening the verse with his divine rapping, I knew I'm in for a new ride.

STICK-UH STICK-UGH STICK-UGHGHGH

To those complaining it sounding like noise music, imagine it sounding generic. I don't think it would fit as the title track. Not a b-track or in their repertoire, even. They are called NCT because they define the NEO in the music culture and music technology!

It honestly was an unorthodox, just like all of their title tracks, which I’m inherently here for.

Literally, no one does it like them!

The growls and the vocal flexes and adlibs! (You can tell it has Yoo Youngjin's brand.)

The crisp metronome sound that’s consistently ticking except for the pre-chorus and the dance break adds depth to the soundscape. I love how it’s used instead of the usual snaps.

The production quality blew my mind. Like how can someone think those melodies would sound so exquisite? CAN I CALL THEM GENIUS?

The piano at the back, oh my God—Yes! It adds this mystifying element to the song.

I'm not sure if it's a midi violin at the pre-chorus, but it added thrill to the song. It was a great transition from the bass line in the verses to the combination of the flawless harmony with the same instrumental.

"You treat me like a boy, like a grown-up child chasing a dream" JUNGWOO BABY NO MORE HUH

Taeil, Doyoung, and Haechan—the bridge vocal trinity!

But why the heck are they cowboys? I dig the concept, but why? LMAO

BTW GUNSLINGER MARK I’M ON MY KNEES YEEHAW

This is easily one of my favorite tracks from NCT 127's entire discography 💚

2. Lemonade

Jaehyun starting off this song with his deep voice eee

The song opens to a verse oozing with chill confidence. They're like, yeah you're lurking because we’re cool.

This is such a huge slap to their haters. NCT's not chillin' like a villain, nah they're the main characters!

Well maybe they’re villains, but still ya not cooler than them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Funny enough how they could have just referred haters as simply lemons whose sour/bitter to the taste, but 127 squad's success is sweeter than all the haters' spiteful remarks so yeah, SIPPY SIPPY LEMONADE 🧃

"WOOF"

I might have just barked too wOW

Yuta’s vocals hooooO his voice just sounds so glamorous mhmm

Also Mark referencing their previous title tracks such as: Firetruck, Cherry Bomb, and Regular (it's Irregular in the lyrics) in his rap part 👌💅

I just love Mark's energy when he raps. HE RESOLUTELY BITES AND STRAIGHT UP EATS EVERY TIME HE DOES.

3. Breakfast

Now breakfast time, oh jeez!

AAAHAHFU—

Summer 127's bestie!

If Summer 127 talks about dancing all night long, Breakfast is the morning after.

You know what it is.

"Even if I gulp and drink you, it's not enough for me." oho Taeyong no you ha—STOP

Sexual innuendos aside, isn't it just sweet if someone tells you they'd want to have breakfast with you every day?  Okay maybe I'm melting at the thought 😩🙈💞

And I can see myself dancing to this song as I make breakfast (in the afternoon or at midnight bc I’m crazy)

This was an okay b-track for me at the first skim on the album, but boy it grew on me wildly.

Honestly one of my favorite tracks in this album.

4. Focus

Did I just invade a private call? LMAO

The analog voice filters make it like so.

Dude, this feels intimate in the level of eavesdropping a phone call between seasoned lovers. Then you realize you hear them whispering their kinks over the line and you're ooh, that's sexy! hfgklhfhf

My first listen to this, I almost went feral because,

"I can't wait to eat you…" when it's actually "I can't wait 'til we chill…" aahaha

"Baby call me when you want me." OKAY!

This sounds relaxing and chill. I'd love to play this on a late night drive or just before bed time along with Fly Away With Me, Sun & Moon, My Youth, and Long Flight.

5. The Rainy Night

Ooh, the holy melancholy!

Piano at the intro—I knew I'd cry to this.

This song isn't just about break-up, but the heartbreak after one.

The yearning; the remnant pieces from the shattering of what was once there.

I think I crumbled from this one.

This hit so hard I felt like I fit in the shoes with the lyrics throughout the entire song.

What’s fascinating is I clearly forgot the title when I mentally said this sounds like a sad rainy day song from the first listen.

Something I’d turn up when it suddenly rains, just because I want to feel the blues.

Taeil and Haechan singing in lower register? I wanna cry :( they’re just one of the best vocalists in K-music industry right now.

Could have been also nice if they added Yuta to the vocals.

"My selfish heart who waits for you to come back," OKAY WHO HURT THEM?

And the fact that they sang it so good that it translated every ounce of the emotions well even before I looked up for English translations is the reason why I love this song too.

6. Far

Hmm… What the hell?! Do I like this? Wait...

Alright!

The jumpy vibe from the first verse to the pre-chorus set the mood for this song. It sounds merry and heavy. It was honestly too much to take until I’ve reached the chorus part.

Honestly, I think this song could fit NCT Dream better, as it gives off a vibe similar to Hello Future's b-tracks. If some credible source say this could have made HF’s track list, I might believe you too fast.

Also Dream’s Deja Vu where they go na nananananana na na na~

Playful yet confident! That’s what I mean!

As usual, the vocals are insane! Vocal flex from left to right!

I swear Jungwoo sounded a bit like Taemin at the second verse that I had to replay it hahaha

I love hearing Johnny as a vocalist! SM, how many signs do you need until you utilize his vocal talent???

Taeil's part where he sings, "go nuts, go nuts, 'til we go bust, go bust" IDEK BUT I SNORTED A LAUGH AT FIRST LISTEN HFCAHKFHK

Not my favorite, but still great though!

But wait it’s actually stuck in my head???

7. Bring The Noize

Yes, they never beat those noise music allegations

I love me some noisy percussions. AND THE BASS YO

This screams so much confidence!

The build up from the pre-chorus to the chorus—FIRE!

This song reminds me a lot of SuperM's Super Car, especially with the engine roar samples and the battle cry-like singing at the chorus.

JAEHYUN RAPPING? You mean Jaehyun the visual, the vocalist, the actor, the model, the funny dude, aka my everything?! (markie bb look pls look away for a moment)

THEY DELIVERED IT STRAIGHT FROM NEOCITY THAT'S SOME NCT MUSIC RIGHT THERE NO ONE DOES IT LIKE THEM

When I said I'd play Focus on a late night drive, and if I add this in the playlist, VROOM VROOM SPEED LIMIT WHAT

OUTTA MY WAY

“We got no shame” ouh TAEYONG’S FLOW IS JUST VERY HIM AND HE’S IN A LEAGUE OF HIS OWN

You know what's so clever about this song? It's how it ended with Mark's final rap without any instrumental, leaving you  standing there with a doppler effect-like post experience.

A super car on a super speed just whooshed past you and you look its way as it zips through the road. It's gone in an instant but you're floored dumbfounded at a sidewalk. That's how I describe this song.

8. Magic Carpet Ride

This song… Wow. Oh gosh it's so beautiful.

Their harmony in the chorus—it makes me want to kiss someone so passionately that I'd cry.

This makes me want to feel love that transcends the universe. Literally, just please take me on a magic carpet ride :(

The background harmonies too oh my goodness—HEAVENLY.

Jaehyun's voice is so warm and soulful it fits perfectly with songs of this genre.

Okay alright Doyoung Grande!

And Taeil makes me feel like I'm listening to old school R&B.

The first time I heard this from the track video, I can't stop replaying because it's just that great.

This makes me want to love. I think that sums it up.

9. Road Trip

This is such a soothing song for me, especially how I easily become nostalgic thinking about the road trips I've had.

Whenever I listen to this, my brain immediately conjures up thoughts of my ideal getaways. Gazing at the sky through the car window, stirring up from a nap in the middle of the ride, and   eventually reaching your destination.

Oh, to travel around anywhere... (curse you covid-19)

Okay that's it. I'M PACKING UP.

But where do I go—

I could also imagine Mark playing this on the guitar and the other members sing along together, something like that.

Just Wholesome™ vibes.

I love how it evokes such a nice emotion within me effortlessly.

This isn't my favorite, but I still love this.

10. Dreamer

Eyyyy such a refreshing song!

This song is so bright it makes me want to dance. I play this first in the shower!

It reminds me so much of Elevator (from Neozone)

The horns make it more lively I think!

Yuta and Jungwoo's voice suits lively songs like this.

The background vocal in low register in Taeyong's part in the first verse is so good ahhfhf

Taeil, the R&B vocal king you are...

There's this part where Doyoung and Johnny harmonized, that at first listen they seemed to clash, but it sounded actually fine after a few listens. Maybe it's just that I've never heard them do it before.

And I think it's Doyoung's laugh at the end of the bridge? Oh my goodness I really love this too!

11. Promise You

MY FIRST LOVE AND MOST FAVORITE SONG IN THE ALBUM!!!

The first time I heard this from their NCIT Sharehouse Sitcom, I fell in love with the song already.

It sounds like something you'd feel from a warm, welcoming hug.

The lyrics are so beautiful and endearing. It's definitely a be-there-for-you type of song that will touch your heart.

It definitely sounds like a promise.

A song about platonic intimacy.

This really fits to be the closing song of the album. It's like the end of it but holds a promise that says “see you soon.”

Because they cherish their fans like that.

It's also like I've watched a movie with a happy ending, where the camera pans up to the clear sky and this song starts playing.

Speaking of ending, I would love to hear them sing this as an encore stage in their concert. You know, that moment just before the stage lights die down at the end of the concert where they send final blows of flying kisses to NCTzens. Then you come home smiling and crying.

This wasn't supposed to be this long since I originally planned to write this with just simple phrases and emojis but I got too engrossed lol. I also meant to include my own ratings but I figured it’s pointless since I can’t really decide about them hahaha

I really enjoyed the whole album and I love how they're progressively defining what NEO means by breaking through standards. It's not NCT music if it doesn't make you say "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?" But then you realize it’s stuck in your head and you’re enjoying it already.
