I can't sleep.

Did knives ever try to communicate with his plant sisters on what they wanted? Did he ever ask them what made them happy?? What was his plan past freeing plants from humans because it doesn't look like he was improving the quality of their lives past not sending into a Last Run but what would an improvement on their lives look like??

Do the Plants even know what they want? They must, from the sparse glimpses we get from their perspectives.

Am I focusing on the wrong things in trigun lmao

#i just can't stop thinking about the Plants #We know so little about them #but they are so crucial to the plot #maximum has them finally being able to communicate with people they are ginally granted a voice #but from beginning to end we only really get brief flashes of their perspective.#and most of the time their wants and needs are ignored. god at least humans can claim ignorance on their sentience.#once again chewing at knives with my molars. gnawing on his relationship with his family.#gnawing on VASH's relationship with his family.#trigun #trigun stampede #trimax #trigun maximum #can u tell my favourite character types are those that are given no voices to speak of their own perspectives #so u can speculate wildly about them #unironically the plants are SO fascinating to me.

i don’t get why my brain doesn’t want to latch onto moriarty the patriot in a fandom way, but if nothing else it’s exceptionally good creator background noise.

#6th or 7th rewatch and i haven’t started skipping over the endings or my least favourite episodes yet‚ that’s rare…#it’s a good length and paced really well #or at least paced in my preferred way #starts with some one-off cases that escalate in relevance to the overarching plot #mtp reveals the moriartys’ backstory a little too early for my taste but still #it gives you time to get attached to the characters before shit starts happening for real #something i really missed in shows like lycoris recoil and trigun stampede even though i love them dearly #howling from the shadow realm
