On a serious note, I’m not as good at writing as I am at daydreaming. I would always have these movie scenes in my head and the only way to make use of them is to turn them into stories.

I got the idea for Flatmate when I moved into a flat that I shared with a few others and the guy that I always talk about. Most of the things that happened in the series actually happened to me irl (Y/N going broke and thinking about moving out of the flat, the chapter where Harry went to Japan was when my flatmate moved to another city for an internship...). I also have an anxiety disorder like Y/N. She cannot drive in the series because driving gives her anxiety attacks and I almost ran someone over because of it and have to always take public transportation 😂

My Girl is a bit more personal to me because I relate to the these characters a lot even though I don’t have a childhood best friend whom I’m in love with. It’s not just Bambi, it’s also Harry and his commitment issues, Ruby and her abusive ex, Isaac who’s nice to everyone and gets shit thrown at him anyway. I’ve even cried a few times writing the first book. I really hope once I’m done with the manuscript it won’t get rejected (too many times) 😂
