for Hazel!

i never talk about hazel's crisis control abilities.. but theyre VERY good! hazel is a phenomenal leader and has led teams through battles and challenges since she was a kid, always being the head of her, jade, and everest's little adventures. however... hazel has a tendancy to cause crisises (crises? plural crisis). both these things cancel out well!!

for Vander!

vander is interesting in this right, because he SEEMS like he can be all three. in his work, he prefers to go it solo-whether it be music, fighting, or his role as a gym leader-he typically works alone with very few exceptions (typically these exceptions are Jade and Ev) and if hes not close with you he can be sort of irritable if you interrupt him. but he's a very social guy-definitely a guy who has many aquaintences. but if you look into his life, he's mostly friendly just to survive-which has led to him making a few very interesting moral choices. seeing how he treats his closer allies shows a TOTALLY different vander. hes not just *casually* kind-hes one of the kindest guys youll meet. so.. he'd prefer a small group of true friends. friends who would accept him despite his bad decisions in the past

for Jade! (because i couldnt leave her out this entire time..)

jade's most cherished places are her current home with all her siblings, and several places in dreamland.

to be more specific, the Halberd and the training room are both dear places to her heart because they remind her of her time with Meta Knight when she was young, and Castle Dedede is the same deal-only with her time spent with Dedede and Bandee.

whenever the Lor comes around she feels another piece of nostalgia-magolor is a dear friend of hers, thanks to all the time they had together-he even taught her more magic! and despite her first encounter with mags being.. less than ideal, she's still grateful for all the time they had spent together on that ship. even if he had lied to her.

now, for negative memories... jade is, to this day, sort of scared of the mirror world. (thanks dmk..) peri lessens this fear quite a bit, but she still avoids the Mirror World if possible.

for Everyone!

in order to creat the new heroes of yore, Morpho had to present to all the main 4 his offer of immortality for them and their loved ones. technically he wasn't supposed to do this, but because it was a matter of destiny and that the Aeon Hero himself had confirmed these four were his choice. So, naturally... Morpho and Galacta keep in touch with the team. The group actually tends to forget they're divine (morpho being the grim reaper and galacta being an angel), but in their defense, Galacta tends to forget himself, and Morpho admits he shouldn't be hanging around so much. (so... why does he?-)

Now for two specific answers... and one i haven't covered yet...

Peri has regular experience with the divine-she served under Dark Mind for half her life, for gods' sake. But she also met her *true* creator- an entity called the Glassworker. she has now regained control of the Mirror World, so if someone shatters, she speaks to them directly. Peri, needless to say, is not shocked by this.

And for Everest, he actually has a passion for ghost hunting! So he tends to interact with MANY spirits. he usually does this alone, though, so he's really the only one who knows the paranormal.

for... Hazel and Vander! (both?! i thought these two were good!!)

truth is, i don't have an answer that encompasses both for ANYONE-but i can divide the question! so lemme rephrase it.

"Has your OC ever done something terrible?"

vander has too many experiences with making questionable choices-from sacrificing other lives to save lives of those he should consider opponents, to ratting out his best friend and putting him in a dangerous situation in order to save his own life... yeah, he's not a perfect person. he might not even be a remotely GOOD person. but he always did it out of fear. fear of dying or fear of losing someone. and he feels awful for what he's done. so he's okay in the team's book-thanks to jade.

"Have they ever lied?"

ohhh god hazel. hazel is a GOOD liar. but when she was younger she lied WAY too much.

hazel lied to the squidbeak splatoon about having prior experience, and she found herself lucky enough to posess skill that made her lie believable, and it was only when she admitted her lie to Callie that she was discovered-luckily Callie was so kind and understanding. then she didnt quite lie, but sort of.. left inkopolis for our earth's new york with zero warning. everyone thought she DIED. and that is how she lost her first girlfriend :(

she swore to me FAR more honest since then-and she has been!! she even repaired her relationship with the squidbeak splatoon! ..somewhat.
