Hi!! I was wondering if you could do the gang(separate) with a fem!reader who is odd? Like zoned out a lot(kinda in her own world), she likes to connect random things like rocks or bottle caps or dice. 

The reader will go on a walk and then come back with a pocket full of things she's found and then she's like: “I found this thingy it reminded me of you”

PONYBOY describes your "oddness" as whimsy. He thinks it makes you more mysterious and adds to your charm. He'll always accept your gifts and remember all the context behind them. Pony likes to mirror thinks that you do, so if you give him rocks, he'll get you rocks. He's always a very detailed oriented person, so he's always filling you out on the things you missed when you zone out.

JOHNNY is totally whimsical with you. He loves collecting rocks, he's all for giving fits from the heart and not the materialistic stuff. He's always going on walks with you, just enjoying the scenery. If you're not talking to him or interacting he'll zone out like you. The gang thinks you guys are both so weird because you're sitting together staring out in the distance.

SODAPOP always think the "odd" girls are cute. He likes the dreamy and philosophical girls that just blurt out their random thoughts. For some reason he really likes doing your hair, so you always have a neat braid or two. He also likes your rock collection and has names for all your big rocks. They're all silly names, but they make you crack up so you keep them. Soda also likes to watch you zone out. He's always curious about what you're thinking or what you're looking at.

STEVE is also a bit absent minded and aloof. He's always zoning out too and he's totally missed important things because of it. He likes when you get him silver trinkets. He says it makes him feel like he's dating a crow, but he's got them all displayed up somewhere. He's always covering for you, if you zone out during class and a teacher tries to pick on you he'll secretly tell you the answer. He feels totally and completely responsible for you!

TWO BIT is secretly always attentive. It's stemmed from something into childhood but he learned that he could make better jokes with niche details that no one would really notice. He loves it when you have messy hair, he thinks it's cute. He has a BIG collection of beer caps and bottles that you try to add to whenever you either drink a beer or find a cap somewhere. Once you found a really special one that he was looking for and he couldn't stop hugging you.

DARRY loves "odd" girls, he finds that their dreamy and philosophical esque personality makes them feel effortlessly more mature, which was always what he was into. He'll always try and help you with things such as collecting. He'll try and give you things to add to your collections and tries to find the ones that are hard to find for you. He also loves going on walks with you but he admires you rather than nature.

DALLAS thinks that "odd" girls are just weirdos. He's not a very nice person, and it shows. He collects beer caps and silver jewlery, and the best gift you'll ever get is an important piece of his jewelry collection or you to wear. As soon as you enter, you can see fish on the stairs.

The sunlight filled home has a cheery living room.

Here's a nice feature- the dining room is very large and has an open loft above.

It's all open concept b/c there's a large opening to the sunroom off the dining room, as well as a second open space to the formal living room.

You can see the lofted area from here also. There's a large wood burning stove and a pink ceiling.

The thin cross braces in the ceiling are kind of interesting. I've never seen anything like those 5 tall lamps in the windows.

The cabinets are disappointing. They're dated and I don't like wood counters b/c I wouldn't want to have to maintain them.

But then he caught himself looking at her longer than he should. Involuntarily following her movements with his gaze, noting how the sun played in her hair. Despite his habit of solitude, he was always somewhere nearby when she was around.

"You're looking at me again," she said one day, rocking on her toes.

"You're hard to miss," he replied.

Nightmare Realm! Bill Cipher X Reader Headcanons

I don't see a lot of reader-insert writing for what Bill was like before the events of gravity falls. I think he'd be wandering the Nightmare realm for a long while, trying to understand how it works.

You remember the day you met Bill. You two are peas in a pod, joined at the hip since then, thick as thieves- sometimes literally! It's rough out here, in the Nightmare Realm.

It was a slow development, eons of keeping each other company and one day, his attitude towards you changed. It happens after you express a desire to leave the realm, to find broader skies and diverse dimensions. He's right there with you, already thinking of a ticket out of here!

You sometimes catch the way his eyes widen with something close to love, yet closer to obsession when he sees you fight your way out of a sticky situation. It was an intensity that would make the devil blush.

He'll give ya anything you want. A puppy? Sure! He'll make it rain puppies. They'll have an extra set of eyes or limbs, but that's close enough right?

Flowers? He actually paid attention this time and MADE you ones you like- plucked straight from the mindscape of the world's best florists. They're just as cute, fragile, and breakable as you! So what if they screamed and sprouted eyes?

Bill would never admit that he grows softer by the day with how you look at him, marvel at his powers and being with those wide, sparkling eyes of yours.

When you aren't looking, Bill makes sure to check on those flowers. With a snap of his fingers, he'd force life into them, making sure they never wilt.

In a world full of opportunistic and truly desperate dregs of what used to be people, he made sure to keep your light alive. The nightmare realm feared Bill, he'd keep you were safe.

He makes a ukulele from the hair of whoever wronged you- stringed intricately to it WHILE their streaming head is still attached to the instrument! It makes for interesting back-up vocals. He'd sing you a happy, whimsical little serenade he heard on Earth once. 

He's make sure to zip up the mouths of anyone who talked badly of you- literally! Sometimes you come across those random people around the nightmare realm, still unable to run their mouths.

He stopped a comet for you, just so you can cross the asteroid belt towards your favorite interdimexican joint. 

And if the line was long, he'd get rid of whoever's ahead of you with a snap- they'd turn into silly string or balloons. 

Of course, he'd turn them back to normal at your behest. He listens to you! Sometimes.

Bill is much more sappy than you give him credit for. He will deny it till his dying breath. It just looks… different than what mortals would call romance.

He painted the black canvas of the void with stars, comets, suns and moons for your amusement. He loves making them dance and spell out your name. Really extra, but Bill's all for big displays of affection!

He’ll poke fun at how dumb and easily amused you are, but if you see past his scathing banter, you'll see how his eye softens and gazes at you with an other-worldly fondness. Closer to obsession, really- but tom-ay-to, to-mah-to.

He'll never admit it, but he absolutely melts when you call him yours. Some other nicknames that would make him feel like putty would be Sweetheart, honey, light of my never-ending-all-consuming-void.

But of course, he won't say no if you started calling him by his REAL name. The one that would scramble your mind, melt your ears off your face, and vaporize you into nothing but atomic dust.

Just kidding. He won't tell you what it is. Depending on whether or not you're mortal, he'd never risk your well-being like that.

Much.

He will always praise you. For your ups and downs, for your wrongs and rights. He's right there with you, no matter what.

But, he'll get an extra kick out of seeing displays of power from you. Y'know, putting people in their place, defending him from opportunistic bounty hunters. Maybe burning a town or two in his honor, if you lack morals like that! That is H-O-T!

He loves you and his admiration burns. For Bill, love is something close to giving up your entire existence towards each other- in all forms, for all of time.

He will share pieces of himself with you, but give him an inch and he'll take a mile.

He's afraid of vulnerability. Love is a weakness, he's burned himself so many times with mortals and cosmic beings alike.

So, he'll expect you to give yourself fully to him... But he'll be hesitant to do the same. 

You and him against the world, forever and in death.

There are nights where he'll warp the nightmare realm into your own personal playground. 

He'll make music play out of nowhere, cheerful little tunes he heard in the mindscape of Earth's greatest artists. With a twinkle of his eye, he'll slip his hands over yours and guide you through steps. He teaches you new dances you've never seen before.

You'll dance the night away as he a chorus of screams and wearing flames surrounded you. Your very own, blue and warm spotlight shines over your perfect features. Bill can't possibly take his eyes off you! Whether or not your afraid or elated at the chaos he brewed, he absolutely ADORES you!

Love is acceptance and submission. No matter what, no matter the cost. So he won't understand why you disapprove of certain things he's done. He understands morality- but that's a meat-bag concept! You two are beyond that!

It would shock him to find you won't go with his Weirdmageddon idea.

His pranks turn harmful, well, even for you. Turning coffee to decaf was his worst idea before, but that quickly turned into making arsenic taste like blue raspberry so everyone in Gravity Falls wouldn't be able to tell the difference between that and Kewl-Aid.

Over time, his whimsical, funny little ideas turn into plans. Things that made you laugh out of the sheer absurdity of his ideas, becomes a twisted reality.

He expected you to be with him for all of eternity, no matter what.

So why? Why were you pulling away?

He just doesn't understand. Deep down, he does. But he refuses to acknowledge that.

The sweet gestures and love bombing come back tenfold. Until it becomes unbearable.

He nearly burns you in his attempt to show you a sun so bright and so powerful. He thought you'd love terrifying displays of power as much as he does. 

At some point, if he thinks you're pulling away, he'll try to cut you a deal.

He knows you from the inside out. He knows what makes you tick. What you need and want.

If you refuse him time and time again, he gets a little upset. But deep down, he likes the chase. He admires individuality, it is chaos and creative balanced- it makes you YOU. Not just some sad sack he had control over, in a world full of puppets.

Deep down, he doesn't want to take that individuality away from you by shackling you to his whims.

But Gods don't love the way mortal men do.

They consume and devour. Overpower everything until nothing is left and they can rebuild it all in their image. They do what they do best, cast dominion over everything they see and rule.

He whisks you away to the edge of the Nightmare realm, near a void no one comes back from. 

A pair of his slender black arms wrap around your waist tightly, almost suffocatingly. Another pair of them sprouts to lovingly cradle your neck and turn your gaze towards him. 

He holds you over the edge of this void, vast and endless. You drown in the twisted obsession building in his eye. He takes in your terrified, confused expression, and whispers promises of a future with him. Your form shakes, your feet swinging desperately for purchase.

"It's you and me against the world, I will never let you go."

All of this fear and hurt, just to prove his point. That you need him, and he needs you. If there was one thing Bill had been good at his entire existence, it was sowing fear deep into the minds of everyone he met.

It's up to you, whether or not you'll give in to that fear.

In your opinion, where do you think those silly eels would live? Would Jade be in a cabin up in the mountains somewhere? Would Floyd just go back to the sea? And if he didn't, what environment and house would he live at? I really can't think of one for him and I love how realistic you are in writing the twins. Hence why I ask you. If you don't mind answering of course!

I can definitely envision Jade living his cottagecore life in the woods or mountains. Anywhere that's isolated within the embrace of nature because that gives him all the time in the world to go on hikes and admire the scenery, and he has access to so many delicious things for foraging!!! But then I feel like he couldn't do it forever?? I've seen the argument that Floyd can function on his own perfectly fine, but it's Jade who prefers to lean on the company of him or Azul. I think their dreams in book 7 were really telling. As silly as Jade's dream was, it still included Azul and Floyd because they are such essential parts of Jade's life and he cares about them so much.

Part of me thinks he'd live in different environments from time to time just to sate his curiosity or immerse himself in a place he enjoys, but I think a lot of this would be temporary. Jade would like to live in a place where he has access to his favorite people, but it also allows him to have his alone time when needed. He can be just as spontaneous and whimsical as Floyd, so perhaps this is seen in how he explores the world and lives in both land and sea. I could see him being a world traveler,,, tbh though he's a Leech, so the world is basically his oyster and nothing is too crazy or impossible. T_T he could genuinely do anything,, money is never an issue for him.

As for Floyd!!! I'm inclined to place him in a city. I feel like the busy hustle and bustle of a city is exciting to Floyd. There's so much to do in a big city and so many parts and places to see and explore. Maybe I'm just severely the law of magnetism-brained because Floyd lives in the city in that fic, but I do think he'd enjoy city life. He's an independent guy, but I also think he can't do too much independence otherwise he's prone to stagnation like what we saw in his book 7 dream, where he did everything he wanted to do and then quickly became bored.

So similar to Jade, I think Floyd could live in a city for a select amount of time, but inevitably he might wish to go elsewhere once the shine wears off or if it's not everything he's looking for anymore. Since he's young, I imagine he'd want to travel and see lots of places much like Jade. I don't think either of them does so with the intention of settling down quite yet. And that's perfectly logical. Imagining they're both fresh out of NRC and in their early twenties, it makes sense for the both of them to be in a place where they're still finding their footing in the world.

Of course if you ask either of them their home is always going to be the Coral Sea. That's where their childhood home and family are. The sea is very cherished by both eels. They always mention it in-game, and I think it's not just because they're merfolk and the land and sea are very different; but also because they love sharing the beauty and wonders of the sea with others. The sea carries a lot of sentimental value to them.

Perhaps I'm delusional, but I think it's cute to imagine the eels wanting to share such an important piece of their background with you. >w< so perhaps they'll inevitably return to the sea one day,, maybe that's where they both retire when they're older. Until then, though, a lot of their early life is filled with exploration throughout various environments. For Jade, I imagine it's places like quaint villages (think a place like Harveston), the mountains, or the forest. For Floyd, I imagine busy cities, well-populated islands, or maybe even somewhere rural if it's interesting enough to him.

AS FOR HOUSES BECAUSE I ALMOST FORGOT!!!!! I love placing Floyd in a penthouse and thinking about Jade in somewhere small but smart with space,, like a comfy cottage. Floyd can be impulsive and a touch materialistic at times, so I feel like he'd buy a penthouse suite solely for the extra space and then eventually realize it's either not for him or just what he wanted. He's the type to turn a wine cellar into a storage room for all of his luxury brand shoes LOL. But then it really depends with him. Jade, too...... (un)realistically maybe they both start with a little apartment somewhere. It's not the best, but it's good enough for them being fresh out of school and searching for jobs. Realistically, they come from a family that has MONEY and so their living arrangements are probably considerably more luxurious from the get-go. T_T

Debut: Kirby's Dream Land 3

A penguin! What's more Christmas than a penguin? Many things. Many, many things. But they're still moderately Christmas. That's just your lot in life when you're an inherently whimsical creature living in a world of ice and snow!

While real Antarctic penguins are constantly fighting for their lives in a freezing polar desert, Corori is having a whole lot of fun! Instead of huddling with anyone else for warmth, it is playing with a snowball, rolling it up and pushing it down a slope. Yippee! What allows it to be unaffected by the elements? Clearly, the answer is its cute little hat. And the fact that its feet are so close to its blubbery little body. I know you don't see any, but they're there, I promise!

Corori's snowball is dangerous! What did you expect? This is a big rolling ball in a platformer! One must wonder, though, how much harm it actually intends, especially because I doubt it can see around that thing to know if anyone is in the way. Maybe it is just trying to get the snowball bigger to make the biggest damned snowman anyone's ever seen... don't tell Corori about Snowman's Land, please. It would be rather disheartened. After it pushes the snowball... that's it! It only had the one. I hope you liked it!

So, Corori is pretty "cool", huh? I think it's very n"ice"! There's "snow" doubt about that! If you don't like Corori, I might just have to give you the "cold" shoulder. If I ever saw one in real life, I would hope to have a "polar"oid camera on me! "Antarctic Krill"

Anyway, Corori gives no ability in this game. And it sort of makes sense, I suppose? Previous (and future) games would have penguin enemies with the Ice ability, but these are typically ones that have intrinsic Ice Powers, while Corori, as far as we know, is just playing with the snow. I could do that! But it doesn't make me able to produce ice from my body. With my unique biological abilities, I would yield the Pee ability!

After Kirby's Dream Land 3, Corori was gone. No one had any contact with them. They left no note. We did not know what happened, and resigned ourselves to a world where we would never see Corori again...

Until, after 25 years, Corori returned! "I'm back," said Corori, "and more powerful than ever." Indeed, in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Corori can now make multiple snowballs, getting to work on a new one right after pushing the previous away! You will also now notice its little orange feet, no longer hidden within its body. Enhanced snowball craft? Increased cold resistance? Could it be? Yes! Corori is now a source of the Ice ability! And its hat is so realistic now! I feel like I could wear that! But I won't. It's not mine.
