“That’s just awful.” Suna said it with a laugh, the two of you were already in stitches over the accusations on his laptop. This one, like hundreds of others, was as terrible as it was amusing.

On June 4th, this bitch borrowed earrings that belonged to my dead grandmother and never gave them back.

You stifled a laugh with the palm of your hand as you watched Suna, who did nothing to hide his own thrill, type out the generously provided message, finishing off with the name of the culprit. Uploaded.

You found yourself once more on his shabby apartment carpet, eyes excitedly dashing between each submission. There’d been close to 400 just that week. The list was filled with expected and unexpected names alike: names you’d never read in your life, names of people who sat next to you in class, of someone you went to highschool with, repeat offenders, and your favorite, people who had pristine reputations. No matter how much of a saint these names appeared to be, once they went up on the website, their reputations would be tarnished by their wrongdoings.

It didn’t help their case that the entire school seemed to be waiting on pins and needles for each update. People always take a sick pleasure in watching others’ dirty laundry get aired out, you and Suna were happy to provide. There was only one rule to the whole ordeal: what they did had to be morally wrong. “It’s not gossip,” you’d told Suna, “it’s a warning.” As you saw it, the two of you were righteous benefactors of warnings.

“Are there any left?” You asked, peering over his shoulder at the screen, “Nah.” He clicked his tongue in disappointment. It certainly wasn’t a slow night, but you both knew you’d never get enough of it. Rintaro stretched out his sore shoulders, then leaned back against his palms, lolling his head over to look at you sitting cross-legged beside him. His brows shot up playfully, an unreadable parade of thoughts seemed to be marching through his mind in that moment. 

“I like this.” He stated plainly, to which you hummed in agreement, “Did you see that news article?” You followed, tilting your head curiously as he stood up with a groan and walked over to his nightstand. Suna pulled open the drawer, showing you the tattered clipping he had proudly cut from the newspaper, “I’m thinking of framing it.”

A satisfied grin twisted at the corners of your lips as you hoisted yourself up to get a better look at the paper, though you’d already read it tens, if not hundreds of times. University in Shambles. And it was all your doing. Together. 

Gazing upon the tiny printed words, something marvelous came to mind. It was a fleet of the moment idea until you broke the silence to turn it into something else, something better. “I wanna keep doing this.” 

Suna eyed you questioningly, “We’re not planning on stopping anytime soon, are we?” It’s true, the both of you had agreed not to quit your selfless duties unless you felt like someone was onto you, and so far, nobody had a clue. “I mean,” you started, taking the clipping from his hands to examine it with delight, “I want to keep doing this after college.”

To this, Rintaro finally turned to face you fully, eyes slightly widened, “Oh?” “Imagine it, Rin,” you sighed, slipping the little piece of paper back into his drawer, “not only knowing about the assholes on campus, but, knowing about them everywhere else.” Something akin to excitement flashed in his eyes, he keened on every word you said like it was the best thing he’d ever heard. It was the best thing he’d ever heard.

“It’s risky, but would you wanna do that? Make On Sight open to the public?”

His breaths began to shallow at the thought, how many submissions would there be? Not only would the university be in shambles, but so would the rest of the world. It made his chest bubble with unadulterated pleasure. Perhaps you weren’t great people for this, but neither were the ones whose names went up every night. A crime where the victims were no victims at all, they’re equally as bad as the two of you, if not worse. 

“That’d be terrible,” he licked his lips with fervor, “we should do it.”

You smirked with satisfaction, he was just as desperate for it as you were. Nothing was holding you back from keeping this rotten secret of yours for as long as you possibly could, not time and certainly not a lack of devotion. “Think you can keep a secret for that long?” You murmured coyly, inching closer to him, tantalized by this future you were beginning to picture. A future with him in it long past university.

“You know I can.” Suna’s face lowered to yours, eyes flickering down until he could feel his knees weaken at your grin. In that very moment, adrenaline coursed furiously through your veins, there’s nothing in the world that you could do without him wanting in on it. You two managed to bring out the very worst in each other, but it worked, it was beautiful, perfect, even. 

That was the point of the night in which everything blurred into one splotch of thrill in your mind. One moment the two of you were frozen in this sudden revelation of desire, the next his hand was on your jaw, pulling you into a deep, long-overdue kiss. Suna’s lips danced against yours with passion, need emanating in every touch to your flesh, your head spun as his tongue grazed against yours and you would have been able to taste his aching for you had the flavor of your own hunger not overpowered it. 

A clumsy three-step trip to his squeaky bed was made, he landed on his back, panting for more as you climbed atop him. You didn’t get the chance to see the way in which his eyes glazed over as you slipped off your sweatshirt, he’d already pulled you back down to kiss him in a frenzy. 

The air was filled with heavy breaths as he broke away to lose his own shirt, a scoff leaving his lips once you met heavy, lusted eyes, and you can’t help but laugh at yourselves. Foreheads pressed against each other and the tips of your noses touching, it’s all too wonderful. 

“You’re killing me.” He whispered against your lips, before seizing them, gripping your waist to flip you onto his pillow. 

The bed squeaked too loudly, you’re sure the headboard of which was fucking up the lazy paint job of his apartment, and the two of you couldn’t stop laughing between kisses, but that night would surely be the only perfect one in your life. You cherished it like it was gold. 

Suna was your best friend, but now he was something more, and there’s no doubt in your mind that you both would like to keep it that way for a while.

:D i just had to hop on the fnaf oc train but i just modified old ocs to fit the narrative! Oliver and Clover act as older siblings/peers to kids who want to wander the pizza plex but arent old enough quite yet to be left alone, especially kids who just aged out of daycare. Parents who just want to drop their kids off at the pizzaplex to run errands have no need to worry when their kid is a part of the buddy system and older siblings who dont want to watch their younger siblings can do what they like in peace :)

The twins have excitable personalities, and have a web interface to keep up to date with the latest trends. The pups are shorter then the rest of the animatronics so that younger kids wont be as intimidated by them, however they admire the glamrock band immensely, and while not anticipated to ever perform, they love to watch

Ok ok hear me out: a sleepover with the class 1A girls and the fem reader, they all let loose eating, doing face masks, dancing in their tiny pjs or whatever and the boys hear about it and go spy on the girls. Bakugou goes because he’s curious to see what the reader is like when they’re not in school (as she seems mom friend ™️) turns out she’s like a big goofball and a dancing queen and Bakugou gets all blushy after realizing he has a fat crush on her. summary:  in which you’re seen as the mom of class 1a, the boys got to spy on the girls sleepover and what they didn’t expect was you to confess your crush but also for you to have hidden talents that makes bakugo realise he needs to have you

It’s probably more due to his infatuation with you though.

This boy just wants to know what makes you tick.

How someone like you has the ability to be so caring to the class that even Mineta stops being a perv when you’re around.

He says he doesn’t care.

This man just wants to know if you ever act like a normal teenager.

You literally worry about everything with the class.

Making sure Denki doesn’t overcharge himself and become well dumb.

Making sure Ururaka doesn’t use her quirk too much to make her puke.

Even making sure Deku’s injuries arent as bad as they really are.

This man follows the rest of the boys to the girls sleepover and is in shock.

Utter shock at the sights of you doing the Tiktok dance Mina had been begging you to do.

The facemasks and music played in the common area on the bottom floor, the tight shirts and shorts on all the girls. You all had been playing truth or dare with masks you and Mina had bought hours prior. Ready to peel off the masks and toss them in the bin hopefully feeling refreshed and rehydrated. The Saturday night sleepover had been a sacred ritual for months now, the boys being banned from even daring to step one-foot downstairs.

“Truth or dare, Y/n.” Ururaka giggled with the tea that Momo had made in her grasp.

You thought looking around the group, “truth.”

The boys had finally got the nerve to come crawling down. They hid in the kitchen listening in, Mineta being locked in his room due to him being well a pervert. Even Bakugo stood alongside the group of his own free will, they were all listening in, watching how you were waiting for the truth question.

His eyes perked upwards listening into round faces question, he didn’t care about the rest of the girls. He just wanted to see how you were outside the comfort of class and school, of course he had seen you in your less worrying state but this, your shorts shorter than normal. Your shirt peaking upwards towards your stomach, he waited and waited until the words dripped from round faces mouth.

“Out of all the boys in the class who would you date?” It was unexpected and he hoped he said you, it was a wish, knowing how close you were with Todoroki and Midoriya he didn’t expects his name to ever come from a question like that.

He watched you think, your eyes looked tired but still happy before you confessed, “100% Bakugo.”

“Y/n I cant believe you’re actually into the angry Pomeranian.” Momo spoke up.

“Hey, it’s not my fault, like he’s not that angry with me and he’s just I don’t know, I think he’d be an amazing boyfriend.” You confessed the truth, knowing Bakugo would never found out so you didn’t care, “also he’s so fucking attractive.”

They laugh as the truth and dare continued, the boys had looked at Bakugo, his face beet red and his eyes were a lot softer. “She…she likes me.” He whispers.

“Now you can ask her out.” Kirishima nudged him with his shark teeth grinned.

“Shut it.” He muttered allowed not to anyone in particular. You liked him, you saw more past the anger and thought he’d be a good boyfriend. Hell you ever called him attractive, it fuelled his ego and he wanted to see even more.

The boys continued to listen in, “this was a waste of time.” Tokoyami muttered having been dragged here. He left with some others, Bakugo hadn’t noticed but Midoriya stayed talking to Todoroki and Sero and Kirishima and Denki paid attention to the girls so Bakugo wouldn’t feel self-conscious about staying to here you speak. Well Denki mostly stayed thinking that a pillow fight would occur soon enough.

“Y/n, let’s make the Tiktok dance.” She gestured; this perked Bakugo’s ears but he was unable to move. You weren’t going to dance; you were too pristine and clean to dance to a Tiktok song.

“Woah Y/n’s a fucking good dancer.”

“She’s doing what?” He listened to the sound of oops! By yung gravy, it had been playing in Mina’s phone for the past week and Bakugo had gotten sick of it.

But clearly you had learnt the dance as you did it with ease with Mina, you both did the dance with a swing in your step, he watched in awe at how your body moved. Heavily attracted to you and enticed by your movement. He continued to stare, moving his body to lean against the wall in view of the girls as he watched you. He needed you, he craved you and most of all he didn’t care who knew about their spying at all. 

“Agh.” Hagakure belched out, making you all stop. You noticed Bakugo’s eyes skim you up and down.

You looked at how the other boys fell out of the kitchen, silence occurred but Bakugo stayed leaning against the wall eyes directly facing you. “How long were you guys there?” You ask, “tell me.”

“Long enough.” Sero spoke to ease the tension.

You heard the noise of stomping down the corridor seeing an agitated Iida, “I told you all there would be consequences if you followed Kaminari.” The blame had shifted to the boy who jolted out of there Jirio and Tsu chasing after him.

Momo, Mina, Hagakure and Ururaka looked between you and Bakugo all knowing he had heard the words that had supposed to have been private. “Let’s go.” Kirishima muttered making the boys leave except Bakugo, the girls looked before collecting there things and scurrying away themselves.

Mina mouthed a sorry before you moved towards your discarded hoodie about to put it on, “leave it.”

It was a command rather than a suggestion and you obliged, tossing it with your things. Before sitting on the sofa, he sat beside you in silence, you looked down not wanting to meet his gaze, “Iida was right, you shouldn’t have been watching us.”

“Really you going to tell me off to avoid the real matter.” He pulled at his hair and action that made your stomach churn with butterflies.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” You lied.

He laughs cocking his head back before meeting your gaze, “you’re the one who said I’d be an amazing boyfriend and called me fucking attractive.”

“I…” You couldn’t lie he had repeated the words, word for word.

He moved closer grabbing your jaw with his rough hands. “You could’ve just told me.” He spoke making your face move closer to his own. His lips brushing against your neck, his hot breath fanning your exposed skin.

“Bakugo.”

“Katsuki, you already think I’m fucking attractive, so call me Katsuki you brat.” You took in a sharp breath, his hand still on your jaw, your cheeks squished between his fingers. “I saw you do that Tiktok, showing yourself off like that to everybody, only I can see that, not those shitty extras, only me.”

You hummed in agreement feeling intoxicated by his voice waiting for him to continue, “you want to be mine, want to be my fucking girl don’t you.”

His thumb brushed against your lips, a soft moan of a “yes” erupted from your mouth. It was beauty to his ears, he felt you lick your lips brushing his thumb.

“Prove it then.” It was another command, he needed you to beg, needed you to prove that you wanted to be his. “Beg for me.”

He brushed his thumb across your cheek, you closed your eyes, “I want to…to kiss you.” It was torture to say, torture to admit that you craved his touch even more.

“That’s all I wanted to here baby girl.” He let go of your grabbing your waist and bringing you closer to him.  “You’re a lot more than an irritating worrier than I thought.”

“Katsuki.” You pout, “I thought being nice would make people like me.”

“Be yourself idiot.” He spoke.

“O…” Before you could agree his lips smashed onto your own.

He spoke through the kiss as he nibbled on your bottom lip, “shut up.” You nodded wanting to feel his tongue inside of you, teeth banging together. His touch sending shivers down your spine, feeling him kiss you with such passion that drives you crazy.

His lips were exactly how you expected them to be, rough and able to bruise your own. Your lips felt sore, felt bitten and wary. You felt his tongue guide your own, you followed his movement, his hands in your hair pulling you closer.

He let go taking a breath, watching your dazed position on top of his lap. “Fuck, we should ugh…” He didn’t know how to speak your figure on him making his ears perk red.  “…go out or something, I don’t care.”

“I’d love too Katsuki.” You smile, you hadn’t expected his next movement. His arms wrapping around your waist into a hug, the words you had said prior about being an amazing boyfriend. Had shot something inside of him, you believed he would be good at something, and maybe even maybe you believed he would be your amazing boyfriend.

Reblogging instead of commenting cause ive got several points to talk about.

Personally, i see liminality as an 'au defines the rules' concept. I love seeing all of the different definitions people suggest and the ramifications of each. For any given story, the author is free to pick whichever definition that fits the vibe of the plot, but if you need a stricter definition, then overall its a term that appears to fill the "not quite fully living, but not a halfa" gap.

The definitions of liminality that ive seen, in order of most exclusive to most inclusive:

1. Danny is the only true halfa, and vlad and ellie (possibly jason) are pseudo-halfas, therefore liminal. No-one else is liminal.

2. Danny, vlad, ellie (and possibly jason) are halfas (generally defined as having a human and ghost form), liminality is a catch all term for all other forms of undead, of which in the dcu are many. If jason isnt a halfa, then he's liminal.

3. Same as two, but jazz is liminal for being raised in an ecto contaminated environment. She has a touch of otherness but nothing strictly beyond human baseline. On dc side, damian is now liminal.

4. Same as 3, but sam and tucker are liminal for being so close to danny's accident, again, otherness but still reasonably baseline human. On dc side, everyone in the batfamily that has died or been exposed to the pits is liminal (with some variations).

5. Same as 4, but extended interaction with ghost kind increases liminality. At this point, sam, tucker, jazz and sometimes valerie are given minor abilities or a single specialized ability (usually, jazz: empathy, sam: plant powers, tucker: technopathy). On dc side, entire batfam is liminal because those that arent included in 3 interact with those that are

6. Logical extension of 5, in that random civilians in amity that have been exposed to ghosts are liminal, usually Paulina has dragon abilities, Wes (fanon character) is a modern day cassandra, various students retain limited access to symptoms they had in the episode 'doctors disorders,' etc. On dc side, reserrection=liminality treatment is applied to any dc character that fits the bill, which includes many members of the justice league

7. Same as 6, but the open portal has flooded amity park with enough ambient ectoplasm that everyone in town is a low level liminal. Interacting with ghosts is not necessary but speeds up the process and/or makes you more liminal, however the spectrum is defined. On dc side, any character thats close to a character that fits 5 is now liminal

8. Logical extension of 7, in that the amity treatment extends to DC locations. Gotham and lazarus pits first, then other 'supernatural leaning' places. On dc side, we're getting to a point where liminality represents 1-5% of earth's entire 'human' population, and is basically a normal everyday thing (which makes the GIW all the more horrifying).

9. ectoplasm is a naturally created substance and necessary for continued existence. All lifeforms that exhibit emotions have trace levels of ectoplasm and the author might even associate that ectoplasm with the concept of a spirit or soul. Removing even this trace ectoplasm could eithrr cause death or leave the entity braindead. This entry on the scale is unique as it can be tacked on as an extension no matter what number on the scale the fic is set at.

Same goes for ecto-contamination, of which ive seen a few different treatments:

1. No functional difference, used interchangably without any thought, or liminality is used for simply being a shorter and more convenient word, or liminality is a slang term for ecto-contamination

2. no functional difference, but liminality is the term used by ghosts/ecto-culture/anyone who sees liminality as a genuine state of being (to be nurtured and supported), and ecto-contamination is used by giw/bad fenton parents/anyone who views ecto-entities as evil (do be decontaminated and destroyed).

2.5. Another possible split is the supernatural vs science divide - someone like the flash would insist on using the term ecto-contaminated because it has a rigid scientific definition, over the term liminality which has a squishy social/cultural definition.

3. Functional difference: ecto contamination is a build-up of latent/ambient ectoplasm without any side-effects, liminality is when a threshold (to be defined) of contamination has been passed and it causes changes that would have the person defined as a meta if a metagene had been involved

4. Extension of 3, where if the au defines liminality as a specific number on the liminality scale i defined above, ecto-contamination defines the groups included in the 1-2 numbers beyond that.

I hope that makes sense. I really enjoy trying to wrestle debated/explored concepts into definable tropes.

what do you guys actually consider liminal? Like, I genuinely don't know anymore

because early on it was pretty much just Jazz having grown up with ectoplasm in the house for years and in her food, which makes sense, and it was an extremely rare thing

then it got expanded to Sam and Tucker

Then members of the Bat crew that got resurrected by a Lazarus pit(and Dick for some reason? He's never canonically died guys...)

Now it seems to be the entirety of Amity Parkers, All the Bat clan, half of Gotham, Half the Justice Leage, the entirety of the League of Assassins

is it just having come into contact with ectoplasm/Lazarus Pits? Prolonged exposure? Because it's starting to feel like everyone is liminal besides the guys in white for some reason

a = affection (how affectionate are they? how do they show affection?)

ethan is incredibly affectionate in all senses of the word- big gestures, small moments, and everything in between. he brings you flowers or food quite often, just something small to show you that you were on his mind while he was out and about. you two would have a designated date night once a week where he’d clear his schedule to spend quality time with you; either taking you out to dinner or cooking and watching movies at home with spencer. also, ethan would definitely go out of his way to do little things around the house to help you out - washing the dishes, vacuuming, folding the laundry. however, ethan wouldn’t shy away from larger gestures of affection, either: he’d take you on surprise vacations or road trips for holidays or anniversaries. 

b = best friend (what would they be like as a best friend? how would the friendship start?)

being ethan’s best friend would be so much fun. he’s definitely the kind of guy that would send you a text when he was 10 minutes away from your house because he was bored and wanted to go do something together. you’d never be bored around ethan- he can talk for hours, and would 100% know how to make you laugh, even if the two of you were just chilling on the couch. a friendship with ethan would be filled with adventures; concerts, midnight snack runs, campouts in the backyard and lots of fun with spencer. 

c = cuddles (do they like to cuddle? how would they cuddle?)

yes, 100%. thinking back to unus annus, ethan was a vvv touchy guy with mark, and i think that would only be amplified with his significant other- touch is one of his love languages, for sure. he’d be the type to always have some soft of physical connection; a hand on your thigh while he drives, mindlessly drawing patterns over your skin while your working, aways holding your hand in public type beat. if ethan wasn’t getting your attention when he wanted it he, would not hesitate to pick you up over his shoulder and carry you to the closest soft surface before plopping you down and wrapping you in his arms. i think he’s probably a fan of having you laying on your side, facing him so that he can hold you, but still see your face/ talk to you. he’d also love laying on your chest because he’s such a boob guy but that’s a conversation for another time ,,,,,

d = domestic (do they want to settle down? how are they at cooking and cleaning?)

i think that if you and ethan were committed and had been dating for a while than he would absolutely want to settle down- but i feel like dating ethan would also include being around each other all the time (constant sleepovers while you aren't living together) so it wouldn’t be that drastic of a change. while he was living on his own, though, ethan obviously had to take care of himself, so he taught himself to cook and clean and do general, domestic tasks. i think he’d be a really good partner when it came to things around the house like that; ethan would always do his fair share and would pick up anything that you needed him to.

ethan just comes off as a very feeling, sensitive person (his brand is literally soft boy what do u expect), so i think breakups would be really hard for him. he wouldnt break up with his s/o until he was 10000000% positive that it as the right choice, and had thought through it multiple times. even then, it would rip his heart out to end things- he wouldn’t be afraid to show his emotions. ethan would definitely break up with whoever he was dating in person- he knows that he owes them that.

okay, this one is up in the air for me. i definitely feel like ethan would settle down with his person and be completely loyal to them- thats a no brainer. i just don’t know how he feels about marriage? i feel like ethan wants a life partner, i just dont know if he would marry them. (this could 1792049384% be my personal bias peeking through because i think marriage is fkn weird, but for some reason i think he would too ????? maybe thats just me)

ethan is just ,,,,, soft hearted, dude. he’s just gentle in general. i think emotionally he’s a total teddybear, and he feels all his emotions incredibly deep- he rules with his heart, for sure. he wants to make sure that everyone around him is happy, and if they arent, it would affect him more than he’d like to admit. physically, ethan can vary- like i said, he’s always touching you in some way, but i think he’d be down for getting a little rougher in bed when you guys want to. 

h = hugs (do they like hugs? how often do they do it? what are their hugs like?)

ethan is an envelope-the-whole-ass-person kinda hugger, hug-with-your-whole-body type deal. if you look at pictures from unus annus, even old old pictures from the tour he did w/ mark, ethan is always completely wrapped around someone, hugging them with everything in him. i think if his s/o was shorter, he’d love to stack his head on top of theirs, and if y’all were around the same height, he’d bury his face in your neck. he’s very huggy- when you’re out and about, he’s always hugging you from behind, pulling your body closer to his. i also think ethan would love koala hugs, where he was sitting and his s/o wraps their arms and legs around him- he’d sit like that forever, rubbing up and down your back.

hhhhhhhhhh don't clock me for this one, yall- if ethan was feeling some type of way, he would tell you. i don't think the length of the relationship would matter as much to him as the intensity and depth of his feelings; if ethan really truly loved you and wanted to say it, he would. he’d definitely preface it with the fact that you didn’t have to say it back, that he just wanted to get it on the table and out of his head. 

j = jealousy (how jealous do they get? what do they do when they’re jealous?)

ethan would be very secure in his relationships, and i think it would take a lot to get him jealous. however, when he was,,,,,,,, it wouldnt be pretty. like, at all. if it was a situation where someone was hitting on his s/o, he wouldn’t step in until you’d already tried to get them to leave you alone- not because he didn’t want to, but because he knew that if he did, it would get ugly. when he did step in, he’d start by saying something (not kindly worded, but to the point), and if that didn’t work i don’t think ethan would be above getting physical- he’s extremely protective of you.

cute. literally so cute. i think that ethan would love other people’s kids, but definitely doesn’t want any of his own- at least, not right now. however, with other people’s babies he is S O F T; he loves to hold them, and would absolutely offer to try and calm a crying baby down, rocking them and singing soft lullabies to calm their woes. i also think that he would LOVE toddler aged kiddos- like 3-6. he’d be cool uncle ethan, playing catch with them, taking them to the park, finding games to play and always letting them win. he’d totally try to teach them how to ride their bike, or how to do a cartwheel, or how to jump off the swings for maximum height. ethan would totally bring them a fun lunch at school or sneak the kid’s favorite candy over to them and eat it together in a secret spot.

m = morning (how are mornings spent with them?)

mornings with ethan would be slow and lazy and filled with golden light filtering in through the blinds. if he woke up first, ethan would be as soft as humanly possible in order not to wake you up & would sneak downstairs to make coffee and start breakfast for the two of you, sometimes bringing it up to surprise you with breakfast in bed. the two of you would spend an hour (at minimum) in bed together, waking up and peppering each other with soft pecks all over. i think ethan would be extra soft™ in the mornings- he’d be super cuddly and affectionate. 

n = night (how are nights spent with them?)

nights spent with ethan would always hold a sort of unexplainable magic- there’s something about the thought of falling asleep next to him thats just so… comforting? he’d be so warm and easy to fall asleep with, all soft and hazy and gentle; he’d fall asleep holding you as big spoon, but when y’all woke up he’d be wrapped in your arms, laying on your chest. also, if you were having a hard time falling asleep, ethan would stay up with you, talking through whatever was on your mind even if he was barely able to keep his eyes open. 

o = open (when would they start revealing things about themselves? do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

i think that ethan would open up more and more as the relationship progresses, going along with the natural advancement of things unless something happened that made it crucial for him to open up; if that did happen, though, you wouldn’t have to pry anything out of him. ethan is a pretty honest, open person and wants to be transparent with you always- trust is something that he values above all else and he wants to remain very truthful with you.

p = patience (how easily angered are they?)

ethan is incredibly patient and understanding- it would take a lot to truly upset him. sure, the two of you would get into little tiffs here and there about stupid things, but the small arguments would be resolved within the hour with lots of hugs and kisses and soft “im sorry”s. however, if yall managed to get into a big argument, i think it would take ethan a bit to calm down and he would want to put some space between you two while he did- not to anger you any further, but to make sure that he didn’t say anything he didn't mean. ethan has a bit of a temper while he’s angry, and he wouldn’t want to say anything just to hurt you out of anger. after he cooled off he would come back and be willing to re-examine whatever had caused the issue with fresh eyes. 

q = quizzes (how much would they remember about you? do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

if you’ve watched ethan ever, you know that the sweet bby doesn’t remember shit (cue the instagram live thats purpose was to help him remember a word)- but listen. i think that ethan would go out of his way to hold on to little pieces of information about his s/o, and would put so much effort into trying to remember little details. he’d store them in his brain (things like your favorite flower, the brand of chocolate you like best, etc) and reference them when he needed. 

r = remember (what is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

a couple moments would stick out to ethan - when y’all first met being his favorite. he’d remember every detail of the moment he was first introduced to you; what you were wearing, where you were, what y’all had been doing that night. it was something that he though about a lot, actually- he loved to reflect on the way you’d blushed as he’d introduced himself, how you’d hugged him at the end of the night. 

s = security (how protective are they? how would they protect you? how would they like to be protected?)

ethan isn't possessive, but he is incredibly protective of you. he secretly hates whenever someone flirts with you, even if it’s strictly platonic- you're his s/o, and he doesn't want anyone thinking any different. like i said earlier (reference letter j), ethan wouldn’t be afraid to step in and put someone in their place of they were getting a little too friendly. he likes when you’re protective of him as well, even if its something very subtle to show that he’s spoken for, such as calling him a nickname or dropping a kiss on his cheek.

t = try (how much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

romantic ethan my belOVED- he would try so hard. ethan would plan surprises for you for weeks before they would unfold, even roping your family and friends into his schemes. He’d be so creative with date ideas too; picnics, art classes, different seasonal excursions around california. For bigger occasions like anniversaries, holidays, birthdays and all that, ethan wouldn’t hesitate to go bigger- i definitely think he would take you traveling. he wants to see the world with his love :,)

u = ugly (what would be some bad habits of theirs?)

ethan bites his nails, which is why he’d had you paint them- he’s trying to break the habit

he’s a very sweary human, but so are you; the only issue is he has no filter and accidentally swears in front of kids all the time lmao

v = vanity (how concerned are they with their looks?)

eh. ethan is more particular about certain aspects of his appearance over others, but he’s generally well put together. he likes for his hair to look good, though- that’s the one thing that he’s picky about. 

w = whole (would they feel incomplete without you?)

ethan is his own person and is able to function on his own, but the two of you have developed a sense of codependency with each other, like any couple does. he can’t see his life without you at all anymore, and would much rather have you around than not. the two of you have fallen into a flow together- you and him against the world. life is much easier when you have another person on your team, and he’s honored that he gets to play that role for you. 

x = xtra (a random headcanon for them.)

he had a bit of an existential crisis , and started to spiral a bit

ethan wouldn't like smoking (nicotine), and if that was a habit that you were willing to budge on, he would really try to help you break it. 

overall, ethan is a very considerate and kind person, so someone that was rude or had a sense of entitlement just wouldn’t fit well with him.

z = zzz (what is a sleep habits of theirs?)

ethan can’t fall asleep without background noise. his brain gets too loud when he’s just in bed in complete silence, for better or for worse; sometimes this leads to great video ideas or new concepts for the channel, but other times it just lead to him overthinking his life. when it was that kind of night, ethan would fall asleep to soft music or one of those white noise apps- then he became dependent on it to be able to fall asleep. something about filler noise managed to calm him right down and lull him to sleep, and he pays $5 a month for the premium version of his favorite white noise app.

now im not quite sure if you want only writing tips or writing blog tips, so ive included tips and tricks for both!

WRITING BLOG TIPS :

have a masterlist. this might seem stupid and obvious, but ive seen people with no masterlist. people are lazy, so if they cant access your writing easily, they will just click away.

have a clean theme. aesthetics are important. they are. people love clean and easy to navigate themes. again, people are lazy, so if you make it easy to click through your blog and get to your writing, youll increase the chance of people reading your stuff!

how to get your work show up in general. putting links in your fanfic might lead to your story not showing up in the search. ive also heard that a banner thats too big can cause that. even using too many tags can lead to your work not showing up. its complicated.

the first five tags. im sure youve heard abt this already but the first five tags are the tags that will actually show up! so if someone follows #bts fluff and you tag your fic with that, your fic can show up on people's dashes as a recommended post!

tag accordingly. speaking of tags, please tag accordingly! theres nothing more annoying than finding a jimin fanfic in the taehyung fanfic tag. i really discourage you from mistagging your stories. if im scrolling through the taehyung fanfic tag and find a jimin fanfic, it makes me want to not read it. just tag your fics accordingly.

reblog your fics. i mean it. seriously, reblog them as much as you want! people live in different time zones or sometimes forget abt wanting to read your stuff, so reblogging it consistently for a week or so to get it on people's dashes helps!

teasers and taglists. i recommend doing both! teasers help to get people excited for your story and taglists ensure that people will read it, or at least remember to!

dont stress abt notes. now, this is less of a tip but rather something i just really really really want to tell you! i know youve heard this before, but please do not stress about notes. tumblr fame does not exists! it doesnt matter if your writing gets 2 notes or 300 or 5k notes! i do understand how getting a lot of notes can be motivating (every fics deserve all the love in the world by the way!!) but in the end, it should not be your motiviation to write. focusing on notes will ruin writing for you. it will. the amount of notes your fic will reach has nothing to do with how good your writing is. dont let something as superficial as notes ruin the fun of writing for you. its seriously not worth it! write for you and no one else!

WRITING TIPS :

write self indulgent fics. i seriously think all fics should be self indulgent. writing fics should be fun, so please write whatever you want! also, theres no such thing as an overdone trope. if you want to write a fake dating enemies to lovers fic, please write it! you might think there are already a bunch out there and its not worth writing another one, but youre wrong! there isnt one out there thats been written by you yet. go write it!

make playlists. now this is a bit specific to me because im absolutely obsessed with music, but making playlists that fit the mood of the fic has always helped me while writing and gotten me out of writers block before!

take your time. writing is freaking hard and when writers block hits, theres rarely ever something that you can do. try not to stress too much abt it! it happens to the best of us!

balance dialogue and detail. its important to find a middle. if im reading a fic and theres paragraph after paragraph after paragraph of detail, the chance of me just skipping that part is really high. because even though i love detail, it does get boring. so use dialogue to spice it up!

reading. okay, this sounds weird because youre asking for writing tips, but reading seriously help your writing so much! if you wanna improve your writing skills, reading a lot is going to be key. now, im not saying reading is necessary, but i do think that it can help you to better! whats even more important though is that you try to analyse people’s writing while reading. when i say you should analyse people’s writing, i do not mean you should write an entire analysis of a book, but to take a second and think to yourself how the authors just did that. how did they convey oc’s sadness? why did they just describe the weather? whats the purpose of this scene?

switch up sentence/paragraph length. shorter sentences/paragraphs = emphasise something and pick up the pace. longer sentences/paragraphs = slow down the story and allow for more detail. its important that you do a mix of both. utilise the length to your advantage. a well placed short sentence/paragraph can pack a lot of punch and turn your sad story in a heartbreaking one.

outline your fics. look this is very personal again because some people dont like to outline their fics, but i recommend outlining your fics. and when i say outline your fics, you can do it as little or as much as you want! it can be a few notes, or a long list of every detail you want to include. i just want you to know where this story is headed. its so easy to write yourself in a corner and trust me, you dont wanna end up there.

allow yourself to be free. this connects to the previous point i just made. even though i do recommend outlining your fics, i am also a firm believer of taking the story somewhere else if you feel like it. ive scrapped complete outlines before. half of the scenes i write also arent in my outline at all. you dont have to stick to the outline. if you think that a specific scene would add something to your story, then please go ahead and write that scene. just always remember where youre headed and dont loose focus.

have fun. i just really wanna reiterate this point again. its just so important to me that you have fun while writing! seriously. its just fanfiction. it should be fun. go crazy. i support you!

What is this account? And who are you?

Hello, I'm JJ and I identify as a pansexual non-binary. First things first, you may be asking, "what exactly is this account and what will I expect from it?" Well random stranger on the internet, I'm glad you asked. This account/blog will be all about my gender or sexuality and hopefully provide useful information for others? Im not much of an expert but I can definitely answer some questions. I mostly reblog things (aeshetics, quotes, you name it) but I think I'll do text posts from time to time.

Second things second, am I a boy or girl? The answer is neither. Although our race is evolving and becoming more open about this, there are some people out there who have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. And I get that. Non-binary is an umbrella term meaning it doesn't fit under the binary (girl/boy) spectrum. Its sometimes between, either or, or not at all. In other words, there's many different categories that branch out from NB. I tend to say NB but trans* works just fine with me. As explained by a site called "Its Pronounced Metrosexual" trans* means: Trans* is an umbrella term that refers to all of the identities within the gender identity spectrum. Which, in my mind, is very similar to NB. Therefore, you can call me which ever one you want. I do however, learn towards the "masculine" side (or try to) and hate being called female. I can feel feminine sometimes but I wouldn't want to be considered a "girl". Would this be called genderfluid? Kind of. However, I dont wish to be labeled as genderfluid. Non-binary/trans* are my go-to's. Pronouns: they/them

"Are you 'out' yet??" As a matter a fact, I am. I came out to both of my parents (more on my coming out story later?) about a month ago and they are perfectly okay with it. They do have questions and are still new and unsure, but I'm positive they'll get used to it. Well, they dont always use my preferred pronouns and its kind of my fault for not correcting them but I dont usually want to because I'm afraid they'll get annoyed or feel offended?

Anyway- onto sexuality! This one's a lot simpler. Pansexual means you like or feel attraction to all genders. It's not bisexual where you feel attracted to only male and female. When youre pan, you arent "gender blind." You don't care about whats in their pants, you care about what's in their hearts. Now, I'm not dissing bisexuals (love em, actually) I'm just saying how different they can be from pans.

1. One of my friends pits their arm through my arm whenever we walk next to each other sometimes and even though they're shorter than me it still makes me smile

2. Not being cold. I fucking hate being cold. Wanna get me a present? Buy me the warmest blanket in the world and I might propose to you with a hair tie

3. When my parents arent home so I'm allowed to bluetooth my phone to the speaker and play my music really loudly without any criticism or stuff like that

4. Swimming. I love swimming. Note to all of you, in the summer months if I dont post a lot, it's because I swim literally all day from within the hour that I wake up until the sun goes down or I get too cold.

5. This one is really weird but I like not eating. Partly because of the fact that I like the feeling that I get in my stomach and partly because I'm fat and need to lose weight but I can't excersice because my backyard is mainly woods and my house is on a highway so all I can do is hope my body will eat itself and I wont be 170 pounds anymore and I'll be more like 120 or lower
