If Bill has different cults centered around different beliefs/ways of life, is there a weird scientist cult? Was that… just Ford? Asking for myself

Ford was telling the honest-to-god truth when he said he never worshipped Bill. At MOST, he considered the possibility that maybe Bill was some kind of angel—which would only make him the messenger of a divinity, not the divinity himself. Was he getting obsessive on the border of worship? Yes—but he never crossed that line. Ford was no cult of one.

But Bill has recruited other scientists before. He'd be stupid not to. Who better to build a technologically advanced portal than scientists and engineers.

He's probably never made a scientist cult, though. Scientist isn't an ideology. What was their original religion, what's their political alignment, what do they believe about the state of the world, what do they fear, what ideas are they susceptible to, what are they fundamentally lacking in their lives? That's what you organize a cult around.

i’ve been delighted to see the gravity falls fandom so active lately! as a long-time fan, i couldn't resist joining in and creating some fan art. i’m looking forward to getting the book of bill so i can read it. it was really enjoyable to draw bill again after a couple of years, and it felt like i was reconnecting with my childhood self while working on this piece. it was a very nostalgic experience!
