My class responded to our rainbow flag being banned for including a "sensitive issue that shouldn't be touched on in school" by changing to a pan flag and I think that's beautiful
#i thought my class was gonna give up and ditch the secret pride flags altogether#but no#they just pointed to the pan flag and told me You think theyll notice it this time if we dont say anything?#the future is looking bright#context is this year my school has a competition where each class needs to design a flag that represents the class#and someone in my class wanted it to include the rainbow pride flag to see if we could get away with it#one thing lead to another and now half of us are attached to the idea of making the school put a thinly veiled pride flag on display#by making our flag literally just some patterns on top of the rainbow flag#but then principal boomer-and-it-shows mcgee found out and we have to change it now#so i thought that my class would just give up and switch it altogether#BUT NAH#THE CLASS MONITOR JUST POINTS TO THE PAN FLAG AND GOES#HEY#WHY DONT WE MAKE THIS THE BACKGROUND INSTEAD LOL#INCREDIBLE#ASTOUNDING#THE AMOUNT OF SPITE TO HAVE THAT EVEN THE GOODY TWO SHOES MONITOR WANTS TO SAY FUCK YOU TO HIM#the teacher in charge kinda suggested to us if we wanted to keep the colourful theme we can#Just put primary colours! ^v^ It'll mix to all your other colours - no need to have a nasty homosexual flag ^v^ Wouldn't that be great?#and we went Yeah! ^v^ Sure!
