I'm surprised you never considered writing a fic about older women! BAMF! Alys Rivers x Aemond cause reading the books and seeing dark!Aemond obsessively fall in love with a bastard from House Strong and taking her as his "Prize of War" to warm his bed and bear his children after brutally massacring her entire family got me.

His jealousy at the idea of Cole even being near Alys, him threatening to feed her to Vhaghar if she doesn't obey, his brewing insecurity stemming from her admiration of the more skillful and beautiful uncle who is the same age and that daemon found her warmth first, him referring to her as “my Lady Strong”, him wanting an hier as soon as possible to tie her destiny to him, his conflicted feelings of warmth for a bastard from the house he despised all his life, him promising her the position of queen if she loves him instead of continuing to live as a low-born, him draping her in green to make her forget about her moral allegiance with the blacks added with religious guilt of being the same vile man as his drunken brother and him willing to let her be the death of him by trapping her with him forever in Harrenhall. Everything about it is so dark yet delicious

I honestly never considered Alysmond to that extent. You should write a fic with them, this was 🔥🔥🔥.

I didn't read entire Fire and Blood and I must admit I didn't pay much attention to Aemond before seeing him in the TV series.

Personally I like the most Rhaena x Aemond because they are naturally at conflict and he's her enemy(she's also Daemon's daughter!). I can also see their relationship progress to that of equals.

I mean if Alys is 400 years old as some speculate that is a bit too much age difference for me 😂.

You’ve been blurring lines lately.

Crossing boundaries that exist to keep you and Oscar as what you’re supposed to be— friends, roommates. Not whatever thing it is you’re both play acting as right now.

It’s not on purpose. It’s like the two of you just slip into it. Like, he calls you in for dinner and sets plates down and you eat facing each other like you’re a family. Like, you have to find him in the flat every time you get home to say hello and give him a hug. Like, your shoes are set next to each other at the door.

Lately, you’ve been watching TV together. You put the news on after dinner out of habit from the years living with your mum. Also out of habit, Oscar sits next to you on the couch. He starts on the opposite side, but your couch isn’t that big and your flat is cold. It’s not on purpose, but you always end up piled on top of each other.

Tonight, somehow, Oscar has slipped into your lap. His long limbs stretch down the length of the couch and his head rests on the blanket covering your thighs. He’s turned away from you, facing the TV and you’re staring. At the back of his neck, the freckles and moles there, his honey brown hair.

You don’t think about it, not really, as you gently draw a pattern between the moles on his neck. You feel him press back into you, ever so slightly. Your fingers drift into his hair, nails dragging lightly through the strands on the nape of his neck.

“That’s nice,” he mutters.

You hum, fingers drifting further up. Deeper into thick of his hair on the top of his head. Softly, you brush through his swoop of a fringe, scratching at his forehead.

He presses into your hand like a cat asking for pets. You laugh quietly, fondly at him and you don’t think about all of the lines you’re crossing.
