ozy & kallux — kallux. he's better at communicating stuff clearly, and probably at remembering locations. (although i think ozy is better at finding his way in a new place)

bran & sabine — sabine will give you directions and nothing else. bran will give you directions with flavour and advice thrown in for free. she is adored by little old ladies everywhere.

🍁 - How was their first kiss?

ozy & kallux — mmmm horny and brief. these two never kissed for the sake of kissing, it was always the prologue to sex, and their first kiss was no exception. they had more urgent shit to do than stand around making out. (oh how the turn tables)

🕸 - What does one do that scares the other?

ozy & kallux — word of DM says the only time kallux has ever been scared for/of ozy was when he decided not to help the rebellion based on a coin flip. it was the moment he saw clearly how far gone ozy was. kallux doesn't scare ozy, but he certainly confuses him.

bran & sabine — sabine has a tenuous relationship with her own survival. she'll throw herself headfirst into fights and dangerous situations without thinking, pays the price for that often, and bran is left there in the aftermath knowing this won't be the last time. bran getting seriously hurt absolutely terrifies sabine, but i think mostly she leans more towards worry than fear.

🥄 - Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon?

ozy & kallux — [head in hands] they would trade. ozy has mostly been the big spoon his entire life, but it's the dawn of a new era babey. let kallux spoon that man 2k24.

bran & sabine — bran big spoon :) she likes to hold the wife, and wife prefers being held over having to reach out for someone. plus the Hair situation.

💐 - Is one more protective than the other?

ozy & kallux — ozy 100000000%. unfortunately he didn't care about anyone for 50 years and now he's in the process of swinging aggressively in the other direction. only two modes.

bran & sabine — word of YOU (🧡) says bran has a slight leg up, courtesy of sabine being habitually reckless and bran being particularly precious about her people. she's a captain, it makes sense! (sabine's protectiveness manifests in key reckless moments)

I've been playing Splatoon since the very first game. And seeing my playable character in the first game reappear and grow in Splatoon 2 and 3, makes my heart clench with bittersweet joy because I grew up with them.

Splatoon grew and I also grew and I couldn't be happier to grow up together.
