Oh, joyous day, a lovely correspondence! I shall endeavor to do my best!
Swords! Most anything to do with them, but specifically, the creation, use, and mythos surrounding them. Swords are a near-ubiquitous weapon, and there are so many legendary swords— Excalibur, 三日月 (Mika[d]zuki), Murakumo/Kusanagi, Kikuichi-moji, and Nasuada's Sword of Light, to name a few. Knowing how a weapon is made, or even better, making it yourself, gives you a sense of oneness with it that is almost sacred, and knowing how to use it makes it an extension of yourself— not just in body, but in soul. Or something.
Writing is fun! Putting thought to word can be challenging, but the right word choice and setup can make a piece of writing impactful and emotional. I find no shame in admitting my own writing has made me cry on multiple occasions, but I am of course biased. The other side of the coin would be...
Reading! You cannot be a writer without first being a reader. Reading inspires me to write, and gives me ideas besides. There's something special about cozying up with a good book, especially in a cold room with a warm, soft blanket.
I'm partial to a good game! Most kinds, but especially video games, card games, and chess. I prefer a challenge, but an intelligent one, so a human opponent is always better than a machine. No one wants to play Yugioh with me bc my deck is too good, lol. (This is a cry for help— PLEASE reach out if you play Yugioh. I Crave The Game.)
Rabbits, shockingly, make me very happy! Rabbit-based characters, too, like my beloveds Miyamoto Usagi, Mitamoto YÅ«ichi, Mirko, Lop, and others I cannot think of at the moment but exist!!
Thank you for the ask!
#ask#honorable mention is staying up way too late talking to people i like! especially when they have incredibly based opinions!
