what a core memory to start off this year.

overall experience at the standing pit near barricade is 50/50. definitely, it was incredible seeing svt up close. every single one of them is just so majestic (especially vernon!! hello!?!?! i got bias wrecked during the concert, so sorry jeonghan). i honestly can't NOT mention vernon because he was literally glowing. the moment my naked eyes met his figure, i was stunned at how beautiful he is, more beautiful than any human being. he looks like an angel who descended from the heavens and that's not even an exaggeration. i saw all of them up close and majority of the time, i just thought how can such stunning people exist, form a group, have crazy talents, and be goofy at the same time. when i say the svt members have it all, i mean it. they're the total package (and did i mention how diverse their discography is?? their b-sides are just as good as their title tracks fr fr). the downside of my section is that it gets too stuffy and crowded as the concert progresses with the fans pushing towards the front. i couldn't even jump during encore 'cause everyone was too busy taking videos and guarding their positions. could you just imagine, i couldn't jump when aju nice came in??? like that's never ending aju nice, the highlight of the show, and i couldn't even get to enjoy it, i'm heartbroken </3. if the next concert will be held for 2 days as well, i'll buy VIP for day 1 and bleachers for day 2 to maximize my concert experience.

here's a little bit of a story time of what happened to our tickets: my friend and i initially had day 2 VIP tickets, however, following the news of jeonghan's injury and the decision for him to sit out in the remaining follow tour stops (joining s.coups), i decided to let go my VIP ticket, and opted for day 1 standing (still in the same section). ideally, we wanted bleachers because we want to sit rather than stand, but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack, especially since we wanted the bleachers premium 1, near the stage. so, that's how we went from day 2 VIP holders to day 1 standing.

also, let me just rant: lnph is one of the worst event organizers. i had to argue with the staff in two occasions. first one was in the the ticket verification. we waited for 2hrs+ not knowing that they've forgotten about us. i was arguing with this one staff who apparently is like the team leader or something and i told her to do something--cut the line if they have to because we lined up first!! the other occasion was in the actual queue. so, we have this queue number that follows the timestamp of when you bought the ticket. we were at 100+ but when we got at the queue, the line was already long and they told us to line at the end like what the actual fuck, that's not how it works. i explained to them as calmly as possible that there's no way there would be duplicate of the queue number because it's a unique number per ticket. i sincerely have minimal patience with stupid people, it's a miracle that i was still able to hold back. the weather was hot, we had no water, we couldn't get answers from the assigned ushers for our line, and we have lnph people testing everyone else's patience. ugh.

throwback to one of the best nights of my 2022

i thought this was going to be my second heartbreak last year ‘cause i wasn’t able to go to their moa arena con last october, but the universe was kind and gave me a second chance to finally attend svt’s first con in ph arena. it was such a surreal experience. i feel like everything happened way too fast. i remember enjoying every bit of the con, even taking off my shoes just so i could comfortably jump during encore. i remember dying (figuratively!!) and resurrecting a few times ‘cause i couldn’t believe that the members were right in front of me, performing, and talking live. it’s true what they say, even if you’re a fan or not, you need to attend and experience svt’s con once in your lifetime. it’s a must-see spectacle.

you and your boyfriend are both sick after taking a trip together. it's only the second day of you two being sick, but both of you still feel pretty bad. as you lay on the loveseat, you read the temperature on the thermometer before dropping it on the side table near you.

"it hasn't gone down," you say to jun, who lays on the couch.

"mine has," jun says, holding a thermometer in his hand. he looks over at you, "you should go rest in the room. i'll sleep in one of the guest rooms for the next few days," he suggests and sits up from where he is on the couch.

"no, you should. i'll sleep in the downstairs guest room. my head is spinning so much that i don't think i can walk upstairs," you say to him and manage to push yourself up and off the loveseat.

"it hurts that much?" jun asks. "the meds haven't kicked in yet?"

"no," you answer. "i'm gonna sleep for a bit," you say to him. "love you."

"love you more," jun replies as you walk out of the living room.

you head to the guest room and immediately fall onto the bed. you get under the covers and start taking a nap, wanting nothing more than to wake up with a clear head instead of a headache.

you slowly open your eyes and look up to see jun in the doorway of the guest room.

"what?" you groggily speak.

"i ordered food. come eat," he says to you. "we haven't eaten all day," he reminds you.

"oh, you're right," you say to him and get up. you leave the room and go into the kitchen to see a bunch of food on the kitchen table.

when you sit down, you notice jun sitting in the living room with more food on the table in front of him.

"this is sad. we can't even sit near each other," you say to him and grab a pair of wooden chopsticks from one of the plastic bags.

"both of us need to get better quickly," jun replies. "i ordered a lot, so we can just heat everything up. we can eat it the next few days."

you smile at him, "thank you."

"of course, baby."

after you finish eating, you clean up and go into the living room to lay on the loveseat again. jun is still eating his dinner while watching something on his phone.

"jun," you call out to him.

"hm?"

"can i hug you?" you ask him.

jun looks over and raises an eyebrow at you. "did you forget that we're sick?" he asks.

"but i miss my boyfriend," you inform him, watching jun smile from your response. "my boyfriend doesn't love me," you say with a sigh.

"baby, we're sick."

"so? if we're sick, then we're sick," you reply.

jun shakes his head for a second. "one minute," he says and sits back to lean against the front of the couch. you get off of the couch and go over to him. you sit on his lap and hug him. "if i get worst than you, you better take care of me," he says to you while hugging you.

"i'll nurse you back to health. don't worry," you reply with a smile. "love you."

"love you more, baby."

seventeen right here — day 2

okay, so i have mixed emotions for this one.

it was the first time we bought bleacher tickets. we sold our standing tickets because the queueing number was impossible to go near the barricade. also, let me just talk about the queue. it was honestly disappointing compared to the queue for VIP/standing. they were supposed to let the bleachers in by 4:30pm but they opened the gates to the stadium at 5:30pm. this caused a delay for the other bleacher holders who were still lining up for security check. the caratzone closes at 5pm and the show starts at 6:30pm. some fans weren't able to go to the caratzone since it was already closed. the time management was distressing. i can endure VIP/standing rather than the queue for bleachers if i may be honest.

for reference, this view is bleachers mid 2 so it was on the second floor. the height was nauseating (or maybe because i wasn’t used to it). the carts were too far down and the fans stood up and literally blocked the view for the rest of us while they stood by the railings. the ushers were telling them to go back for security purposes but nobody listened (couldn’t blame them honestly).

anyway, the concert was still fun. the members made it fun. the bleachers, despite the far view, also gave their all out. i was quietly smiling while the rest sing and shout. when you’re at the ground, you don’t get to see and experience just how massive svt is for filling the stadium. so i guess that’s the beautiful experience that a bleacher seat can give you. you’re more relaxed as you enjoy the concert.

overall, it was still okay. maybe it would’ve been better if we were at the first floor. i don’t have much pictures of myself for this one since i was just walking around getting freebies and buying food to kill some time. i was still tired from the day before and i really thought the queue would be okay that’s why we just went around.
