A tear slips out of Neil’s eye as he smiles at Andrew, “I’ve wanted to say yes for a long time.”

“No time like the present.”

Neil’s shoulders sag in relieved defeat, “It’s always been a yes with you Andrew. That hasn’t changed, very little has apparently.” Neil says. Andrew wants all of Neil’s always, all of his futures, all of his forevers, and he wants Neil Josten.

Andrew presses his lips to Neil’s for the first time in five years and he feels for the first time like he is home.

Frozen Ashes master list (Calendula Chronicles, Book 3)

Story synopsis: Albert Wesker molded his captive into the perfect, pliable bait for taking out Rockfort, and cracking open the Ashford family’s secrets. But who’s really in control, once chaos breaks out?

The stakes have never been higher for Marigold, but she may not be fast enough to save everyone.

Regarding Frozen Ashes and The Antarctica Incident (Q_Alias)

Frozen Ashes was written as the other side of Q_Alias' The Antarctica Incident. Marigold actively enters that story around chapter 23 27 (5-1 in their narrative), and moves out of it as an active participant at some point after chapter 30 35? (6-5 in their story) eventually. However, she's very active in the background of Q's narrative. We started to soft-merge our respective plots back in October 2022 plots, rather than a strict collaboration (like 1981). When I started writing, I set up a little timeline of events for reference, so I'll link when relevant events are happening at the same time in that story.

Okay, so I need to write a generic rom-com with the standard formula ~5 chapters and 20K words. Should work right? Wrong. I will address your comments concerns and questions from the previous post first.

How do you define “popular” and “unpopular” fandoms?

A. With the number of works and general popularity of the fandom. Ex. Sex Education is moderately popular as a TV show but in the fanfiction world, there aren't many works. The priority here is how many words are there.

I will try to post Anonymously. But I need to figure this out.

Yes, I will post on AO3 and FF both. Since both work slightly differently the quantitative factors are different (ie. comments/reviews, hits/views). The results will be considered separately and never together.

Tags should be same beyond the ship - it's a brilliant suggestion

I will most likely use the same titles and summary - otherwise, that itself is a variation

Right now I am sticking to cishet couples

I find there’s a sweet spot in the popularity of a ship where you will get a lot of reaction. When it’s too popular, it’s easy for your fic to get lost in the masses and the readers to be pickier, but it has to be popular enough for there to be a demand.

What exactly are you hoping to measure? Response statistics? I think in some cases, this will depend more on the specific fandom than its size.

With the first taste after a five year drought Andrew finds himself desperate for more. It’s exactly like Neil’s freshman year all over again except Andrew’s long since grown out of his self-delusion that this was nothing.

He knows without a shadow of a doubt that this is everything because he knows what his life is without it.

He deepens the kiss with Neil and Neil follows suit, just as starved for Andrew as Andrew is for Neil. Andrew’s hands let go of Neil’s and find their way to Neil’s hips. Neil’s breath catches as he pulls apart, “Wher-”

“Anywhere,” Andrew confirms and Neil wraps his arms around Andrew’s neck.

Just like you Abram.” Andrew looks at Neil and watches when Neil looks up at him.

“I got hurt tonight because of my own past.” Andrew reminds him, “Aaron was wrong. I didn’t make any sort of decision to save you. It was a reflex, muscle memory, the same way someone would bring their hands up to protect themselves from a fall, it was self-preservation to save you that night. Do you know if Riverdale is still on by May 1? Like if they air the season finale or is it a week later? It’s kind of irritating cause may 1 is my birthday, and here in Sweden it doesn’t come out until the day after, and that’s May 2. And May 1 is a break day bc it’s some tradition that I don’t know why we are celebrating, and the day before May 1, on April 30,we are going on a field trip with my class. So it would be kind of cool if it was on on Thursday, so I get three good days in a row lmao.

A couple of notes!

1) I’ve heard 3x18 is on 4/3, but that has not been confirmed by the network, we’ll know one way or another shortly.

2) It’s reasonable to expect that 3x21 will air on 5/8, and last year they aired five in a row into the finale - so it’s distinctly possible 3x20 would air on 5/1 if so!

3) Also, I have no idea if that’s the actual title for 3x21, it’s just a guess based on an instagram hashtag! Do not take that as canon!
