I made a writing system for Tèràlthun the parent language of Tsekàn! It looks a little like this:
It functions like an abjad but vowel placement is already marked in this stage of development. It is started out on stone walls with your hands like old cave paintings, though most walls that are being written on are manmade ones. Later I will make versions where it is adapter for a different medium :3
It can still be written in any direction at this point however in this example it’s written left to right top to bottom.
Some fun facts: pronouns end wit the symbol ‘T’ from the word ‘Tèràl’. This is how the speakers call themselves and it makes helps telling them apart from other words that look like pronouns at first glance.
This Brings me to the second fun fact: vowel distinctions are quite important in the language which means that this system kinda sucks! However it takes a while to catch on so only later does it start improving more quickly.
That’s all for now! Haveja!

Tùlàn ju ìr Saròs harevang ju! (Tèràlthun)
Tùlèn u’ìr Saràs haravax u! (Àtrànthun)
Tlànurets Saròs harewangu! (Golithun/proto-tsekàn)
No translation cause uhhh I don’t want to lmao anyways the bottom too both are descendant from the top language so you can kinda see their differences and similarities

Whoopsie it’s been a while
Don’t have any long essays or whatever but I do have the first bit of the creation myth translated into my proto lang!!
Tanè tòs tö, nàlàs imné kì fja tsän lòséhè. Fa lòrtá hundòs lìrtá sehè rinè tòs nànförìr. Ràn hundòs fja séhè shénè fja tèrsaróvar. Fa ngitsú, tö vuróva mé.
Roughly it translates to:
In the beginning there was nothing but a vast emptiness. And to this empty void the Faces (gods) were drawn, like an artist to an empty canvas. And (like an artist) they started to create.
Also the proto lang is now called Tèràlthun which means something like ‘giant speak’. It’s the ancestor of all the Tèràl languages and Tsekàn will probably be the name of one of its modern descendants.
Anyways that’s it for now :3
Havéja!
