Been replaying New Vegas lately to battle The Dread! Revisiting an old face, because I always play the same character(s) in new playthroughs. It's a real treat.

XJ-976 looked around herself once on the surface. Orders received. Try to blend in. Find seats of power to occupy. Become eyes and ears for her faction. Simple enough. Still, it would be a pain to try to relate to these creatures. Sensing someone approaching, a weapon was quickly brandished from its holster. “Do not come closer. Name and purpose.” It wasn’t a polite greeting but she’d just been born yesterday.

DAISYBELL [Z-01]

Gen 4 synth prototype, officially known as the Zenith model. The concept was designed by Institute Director and Sole Survivor of Vault 111, Blair Costello, though only one was ever produced before the fall of the Institute. The Zenith model is the culmination of all the Daisy Experiments— the ultimate courser created to bring the other experimental synths in line... if only it hadn't backfired horribly

I FINALLY finished this drawing of my self insert main Fallout 4 OC, Arun [they/them]!

They're a robotic gen 3 Synth and never stepped outside the Institute before escaping in 2274. Before getting out of the Institute, their job was to take notes and records for one of the scientists and upon joining up with Deacon, they became the Railroad's record-keeper and tote their writing around in their huge backpack.

Gen 3 Robot Synths have 'skin' that's able to "heal" by fusing back together. If the break is small enough, there's no patch needed but if it's a huge one like the one Arun eventually got on their face, you need to find either a dead gen 3 robot synth or one that's willing to give you some of their 'skin' to use to patch the break.

I also made their shirt the Hubris Comics logo:

2023 vs 2016

This has been one of my favorite drawings of Muds ever since I did it, so favorite that I've done it all over again seven years later. Dunno what else to say beyond the fact that I not only love this crusty bastard but I also love it when he gets hit in the face.

9/10 times it's his own fault and I love that for him.
