Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde, liebe Kunstliebhaberinnen, liebe Kunstliebhaber,

meine Ausstellung KUNST.MACHT.SICHTBAR. bei Casini & Görner in der Liebermannstraße 44a in 22605 Hamburg, die vom 05.04 bis 20.06.2024 zu sehen ist, macht einen kleinen Zwischenstopp mit einer gesonderten Veranstaltung, zu der wir herzlich einladen.

DONNERSTAG, den 23.05.2024 von 17:30 - 20:00 Uhr

Nachdem wir zur Auftaktveranstaltung schon viele Freunde und Interessierte begrüßen konnten und die Nachfrage groß war, möchten wir das gerne nochmal wiederholen.

Kunst muss sichtbar sein, Kunst kann mächtig sein und Kunst macht auch den Künstler sichtbar.

Unter diesem Motto zeigen die Auswahl und Ausstellung der Werke, eine große Vielfalt auf. Insofern gibt es Bekanntes, Neues, Maritimes, Ikonisches, etwas Design und Popart, natürlich Abstraktes, Klassiker und ein bisschen Überraschung.

Neben der Kunst, Gespräche mit interessanten Menschen, Getränken und Austausch, soll aber auch der gute Zweck nicht vergessen werden und somit steht die Veranstaltung, auch weiterhin für die „Hamburger Sternschnuppe“, eine Initiative die Kinder und Jugendliche unterstützt.

Wie freuen uns sehr auf alle, die gerne kommen und möchten bei Interesse bitten, uns eine kurze Mitteilung zu senden, ob und mit wem Ihr kommt. Das macht die Planung einfacher.

I'm approving a patient for in patient physical rehabilitation for a month. Patient has all the diagnoses, both chronic and acute, including a pain condition and mobility issues, so there's zero issue with me approving the entire thing.

The hospital informed us that the patient, despite being aware of what's happening and them and having no memory issues, has problems with orientation and maintaining a psychological equilibrium if not provided with a familiar, stable environment. It is therefore vital their spouse come along. Again, I've got all the magic words I need to toss money at that too.

The suggested hospital is on an island an 8 hours' drive away from the patient's home address (one way, under optimal circumstances, provided no breaks are taken). They do not have a department for rehabilitative care, nor do they have an in patient department for the diagnosis listed as motivation for this entire thing. There's at least 6 major cities with excellent, objectively superior rehabilitative medical care on the way to the ferry over.

Hospital claims nothing about this choice of clinic contradicts the needs of this patient. It's purely incidental that this rehab is planned on one of the swankiest vacation spots in the country, just as tourist season starts. Also, we can't deny a patient rehab if there's a medical need for one. (:

And then today, Diarmaid posted he and Sam Heughan went riding MIDWEEK...Wednesday 👇

The story he posted today can be confusing because he mentions the weekend, but it's only in reference to the music played in the video setting the mood for your weekend "let this tune kickstart your weekend folks." 👇

So, they guys spent mid week riding together. And Diarmaid posted this weekend, but I don't take that to mean they're still together this weekend. Today is Friday, not Wednesday.

There's different possibilities of where Sam could be. Some say he could be hanging with Hayden Sylte at St. Andrews Golf Open. Others say he could be with his mom at an art thing in Edinburgh--his mom opened a new art studio.

We shall see where he is seen this weekend...

Anita Rée

Anita Clara Rée was a German avant-garde painter during the Weimar Republic.

Born into an old Jewish family of Hamburg merchants who traded in goods from India, she was the daughter of Israel Rée and Clara, née Hahn. Anita and her sister Emilie were however baptized and raised as Lutherans, in accordance with the social norms of assimilated upper middle class and upper class Jewish families in Germany at the time.

From 1905, she studied with the Hamburg painter Arthur Siebelist. In 1906, she met Max Liebermann, who recognized her talent and encouraged her to continue her artistic career. Around 1910 she, Franz Nölken and others formed a studio community, but it broke up due to her unrequited love for Nölken. During the winter of 1912–1913, she studied with Fernand Léger in Paris.

In 1913, she participated in a major showing at the Galerie Commeter in Hamburg. From around 1914, Anita Rée gained recognition as a portrait painter. In 1919, she joined the "Hamburg Secession", modeled on similar groups in Berlin and Munich. In 1921, she toured the Tyrol. From 1922 to 1925, her primary residence was in Positano.

She returned to Hamburg in 1926 and helped found GEDOK [de], an association of women artists. She also created several murals in public buildings, but most were later destroyed by the Nazi government.

In 1930, she received a commission to create a triptych for the altar at the new Ansgarkirche in Langenhorn. The church fathers were not happy with her designs, however, and the commission was withdrawn in 1932 over "religious concerns". Meanwhile, the Nazis had denounced her as a Jew and the Hamburg Art Association called her an "alien". Shortly after, she moved to Sylt.

She committed suicide in 1933, partly as a result of having been subjected to such hostility and continuing harassment by antisemitic forces, partly due to disappointments on the personal level. In a note to her sister, she decried the insanity of the world. In 1937, the Nazis designated Rée's work as "Degenerate art" and began purging it from museum collections. Wilhelm Werner, a groundskeeper at the Kunsthalle Hamburg preserved many of Rée's paintings by hiding them in his apartment.

Fall 1 -> definitely gonna be adapted

Fall 2 -> definitely gonna be adapted

Fall 3 -> 100% gonna be adapted like I have seen proof

Fall 5 -> for the vibes and the Paris trip. Probably not adapted in season 1, though Verena is actually cast, so who knows. Maybe we get the Paris trip. Give me the food smuggle.

(Fall 7 -> simply for Benni and Leonhard. Listen I need Franzi’s Skaterboyfriends in the show.)

Fall 9 -> let Marie talk about her special interest in Celtic Myths and Tarot! Also this case is just very objectively fun and entertaining. Like grave robbers, yessss!

Fall 10 -> Rumours about a witch, cats, attempted bribing and eviction. It has it all! Franzi’s grandma is the absolute highlight. I adore her. (Wrote that before it was confirmed that we would get it. And I’m so excited that we do)

Fall 13 -> Horses. That’s it. That’s the whole reason I want this case adapted. The horse cases are just great.

Fall 14 -> Spooky vibes! Graveyards! A medium! A criminal pastor and being trapped in a mausoleum.

(Fall 15 -> solely for Verena. The weird sexualisation of teenage girls can leave…)

Fall 17 -> The animal smugglers. It’s just an interesting case. Plus the breaking into the Zoo! Love it! Would work great on screen.

Fall 18 -> kidnap plots are just very interesting. (minus the creepy dude flirting with Marie)

Fall 19 -> Cult and conspiracy theories episode, my beloved.

Fall 20 -> Sunken cities. We love sunken cities! (Also Kim reads “D3F und der verschollene Pilot“ in the audio drama version of this and I’m still not over that part. XD)

Fall 21 -> England, horses and horse races!

Fall 22 -> Berlin, theatre and bank robbery. What do you need more?

Fall 23 -> is definitely gonna be adapted.

Fall 26 -> This case has some interesting themes and important discussions, like poisoning and discussion of suicide.

Fall 27 -> Bats. That’s the whole reason. I love bats! Bats are great! Also light spook vibes mixed with winter vibes. Idk the combination is fun.

Fall 29 -> Amusement parks are cool. That’s the whole reason. Also Felipe. Oh Felipe my beloved. I need Felipe in the show!

Fall 30 -> Boarding school! Boarding school case! Also important discussions regarding alcohol consumption and peer pressure.

Fall 34 -> They are on vacation in Sylt together and that is always great. (I haven’t listened to that case in years so that’s all I can specifically think about right now. I for sure remember it being interesting.)

Fall 35 -> Hehe vacation again! In Venice this time. Some Grevenbroich family things. Tante Florentine is just a fun character.

Fall 40 -> someone’s house getting bugged. Cases involving someone being spied on are interesting and entertaining.

Fall 41 -> stolen expensive art! And also Felipe and Franzi being a cute couple. Them being on vacation again.

Fall 42 -> the villa district! Some crimes of the past. A tiny little master thief legacy situation.

Fall 43 -> Blake’s first appearance! We love some explicit disability representation. Blake is awesome. Blake is great. The case is also interesting.

Fall 44 -> I can’t really think of any specific reason. I just think it would be a calm little case to be adapted. (The case actually is fairly “intense” with stalking and black mail. At the end it’s just actually been something completely different.)

Fall 45 -> on the list because we are getting it hehe! I hope they will make it a bit spookier. Like give me a spookier resolution.

Fall 47 -> Being suspected to have committed a crime is always just great story potential. (It’s Franzi’s brother under suspicion but still falls under it in my opinion)

Fall 48 -> museums and Felipe. That’s all.

Fall 50 -> make this a season final special! I don’t know if I want Kommissar Peters to act the way he does in this case. But also it’s the pain potential that counts. Like please give me the girls being suspects.

Fall 56 -> Moor and suspenseful setting. Creepy vibes. Somehow cozy at the same time. Don’t ask me how. Also it has a bog mummy.

Fall 62 -> UFOs and lost Roman graves

Fall 63 -> important discussions about racism and bigotry (I’m sure there is things to critique about how they handled the messages.) Also Aveen and Khaleed! I adore them! They are actually part of the Jülich family post this case and you can’t change my mind.

Fall 64 -> I really really like the side characters in this case!

Fall 66 -> Ballet case. Listen I love ballet.

Fall 67 -> Geisterbahn

Fall 68 -> Girls in IT! Bente having Kim and Marie crush on her hehe (in my personal reading)

This list might be added onto in the future. These are just the main ones I listened to recently (<- meaning like in the last months) that I think would make great premises for adaptations or I am certain would have great episode potential.

Die Be‘shan Art Galerie in Kooperation mit der Hamburger Sternschnuppe e.V. lädt herzlich zur Vernissage und Neueröffnung der Galerie ein.

Unter dem Motto „Aufschwung“ stehen Werke von Be‘Shan und Manu Verneuil zur Ausstellung.

In dieser Ausstellung stehen eine Sammlung bekannter und neuer Werke der Künstler Be‘shan und Manu Verneuil zum Entdecken bereit, die unter dem Titel „Aufschwung“ das Thema Veränderung und Neuanfang auf eindrucksvolle Weise interpretieren.

„Aufschwung“ steht auch synonym für die Neueröffnung der Be’shan Art Galerie, die sich ab sofort in neuen Räumlichkeiten im Mundsburg Center auf kunstinteressierte Menschen freut.

Dank der Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Kooperationspartner Hamburger Sternschnuppe kommen Teilerlöse der Ausstellung karitativen Projekten zugute. Der Besuch unterstützt somit nicht nur die Kunst, sondern auch wichtige soziale Initiativen.

Im Anschluss an die Vernissage seid Ihr herzlich eingeladen, die Dauerausstellung bis in die Weihnachtszeit jederzeit zu besuchen.

Creció en la atmósfera cultivada de una familia judía liberal burguesa, pero fue criada como protestante y recibió la mejor educación.

En 1903, hizo un cuaderno de bocetos con 46 estudios que muestran una clara influencia de Munch y Liebermann. Luego continuó desarrollando su estilo individual.

En 1906, Rée conoció a Liebermann en Berlín; él, siendo su ídolo artístico, logra disipar sus dudas y preocupaciones con respecto a su talento.

Ella aspiraba a una educación profesional y, por lo tanto, entra en conflicto con su entorno. Dio clases particulares con Franz Nölken, con quien compartió un estudio en Hamburgo en 1910-11. Después en París tomó lecciones con Fernand Léger.

Se había convertido en miembro de la alta sociedad de Hamburgo y sus retratos contribuyeron a su creciente éxito en los años siguientes.

Durante la Primera Guerra Mundial, recurrió a temas religiosos por primera vez. La crítica fue muy positiva con su trabajo.

De 1922 al 25, vivió en la costa italiana de Amalfi, y regresó a Hamburgo solo para sus exposiciones.

A partir de 1926 volvió a vivir en Hamburgo y participó en numerosas exposiciones, sin embargo, ahora también hay críticas negativas.

Aislada y conmocionada por las nuevas circunstancias políticas, se suicidó en 1933, en parte como resultado de haber sido sometida a tal hostilidad y acoso continuo a manos de fuerzas antisemitas, y también debido a decepciones a nivel personal.

En una nota a su hermana, condenó la locura del mundo. En 1937, los nazis designaron el trabajo de Rée como arte degenerado y comenzaron a purgarlo de las colecciones de los museos.

Wilhelm Werner, un jardinero en el Kunsthalle Hamburg, conservó muchas de las pinturas de Rée al esconderlas en su apartamento.
