Suzuki showcases striking new 2019 colours at Motorcycle Live

Suzuki is showcasing a number of striking new colour options for its 2019 model range at Motorcycle Live, including new liveries for its range-topping GSX-R1000R and V-Strom 1000XT adventurer.

GSX-R1000 / GSX-R1000R With a host of technical updates aimed at keeping the GSX-R1000R the choice of racers up and down the country – including an adjustable swingarm pivot and new stainless steel braided front brake lines – the award-winning machine is available in 2019 with an updated version of its customary, MotoGP-inspired paint scheme, as well as a fresh white variant with black belly pan and bold Suzuki lettering.

The GSX-R1000, which gets a quickshifter and autoblipper as standard next year, also gets new paint schemes. It gets the same MotoGP livery as its GSX-R1000R sibling, which is joined by a clean and crisp white and black option in next year’s range.

V-Strom 1000XT / V-Strom 1000 / V-Strom 650XT / V-Strom 650 The use of blue and white is synonymous with Suzuki, and for 2019 those colours appear on the flagship V-Strom 1000XT adventure machine, with a blue beak, rims, and seat trim offset by the white tank. An updated yellow version – which pays homage to the iconic DR-Z Dakar-racer – is also available alongside an all-black edition. The V-Strom 1000 can also be had in the subtle-yet-classy all-black, as well as a fresh all-white. A deep red model completes the options.

The motocross-derived yellow can be found on the V-Strom 650XT, complete with gold rims and spoke wheels. A new white paint scheme with subtle blue decals joins the range for 2019, alongside a red and black version of the same scheme. A stunningly classy black and grey V-Strom 650 comprises of a black tank, seat, and wheels, with a grey beak. That grey beak carries onto white and red versions of the middleweight adventure machine.

GSX-S1000 / GSX-S1000F / GSX-S750 The GSX-S1000 super-naked – which uses the famed GSX-R1000 K5 powerplant in a bespoke twin-spar aluminium chassis – comes in three new colour options for 2019. An all-blue model nods subtly to Suzuki’s MotoGP GSX-RR, with yellow and white flashes. It’s flanked in the range by a white version and a matt black variant of the same scheme, both featuring sharp blue flashes.

Aping its larger sibling, the GSX-S750 naked gets the same treatment, with 2019 getting a MotoGP blue option plus the matt black and all-white versions. The pair’s GSX-S1000F stablemate will also sport a MotoGP blue livery with the same yellow and white decals, plus a matt black livery with blue accents.

GSX-R125 / GSX-S125 The entry-level GSX-R125 mimics its bigger GSX-R1000R brother with a blue MotoGP-derived paint scheme, while customers can also choose from a white or black design with the same Suzuki lettering giving it a race-replica look.

The naked GSX-S125 takes similar design cues from the firm’s GSX-RR racer, with a blue variant sporting white lettering, a white version with blue graphics and wheels features black lettering, and a black option is offset by red wheels and graphics and more subtle grey lettering.

Burgman 400 / Burgman 125 / Address The stylish and original maxi-scooter, the Burgman 400, is available in a dark matt blue that oozes luxury, plus a pure white edition and all-black model that both feature sporty, dark red wheels. The learner-friendly Burgman 125 is available in black or white.

Zipping around town has never been easier or more fun than it is on the Address, and for next year the 113cc scooter will deliver more smiles per mile with a choice of black, white, or blue.

SV650 / SV650X Utilising a dark red trellis frame and red wheels is a new grey version of the ever-popular middleweight V-twin, while an all-black model and a white and black variant will sport a blue frame and wheels.

The SV650X – which gets café racer styling and lower clip-on handlebars for an even sportier riding position – comes with a new brown tuck-roll seat with a white and black retro livery. Both models also benefit from an upgrade to new four-piston front brake calipers in 2019.

Suzuki’s 2019 range is currently on display at Motorcycle Live, which is taking place at Birmingham’s NEC until Sunday 25 November.
