The Ultimate Goal

Beberapa tahun yang lalu, saya mengikuti sebuah kajian di Masjid Nuruzzaman. Saya lupa siapa nama ustadz yang mengisi dan apa materi utama kajiannya. Saya juga belum berhasil menemukan catatan dari kajian tersebut. Namun, ada sebuah momen dari kajian tersebut yang sampai sekarang tidak pernah terlupakan: pembahasan tentang cita-cita.

Ustadz tiba-tiba bertanya tentang cita-cita jangka pendek peserta kajian. Peserta kajian (yang mayoritas mahasiswa) menjawab cita-cita jangka pendeknya adalah mendapat IPK cum laude, wisuda tepat waktu, mendapat pekerjaan, dan lain sebagainya. Ustadz pun mengiyakan dan mengaminkan.

Kemudian, ustadz bertanya lagi, namun kali ini pertanyaannya tentang cita-cita jangka menengah. Mayoritas menjawab cita-cita yang ingin dicapai kira-kira 10-20 tahun lagi seperti punya rumah, mobil, jadi dokter atau pengacara ternama, dan lain sebagainya. Ustadz kembali mengaminkan namun tidak mengiyakan. Ustadz kemudian menyampaikan bahwa yang disebut peserta sebagai cita-cita jangka menengah merupakan bagian dari cita-cita jangka pendek. Cita-cita jangka menengah seorang muslim adalah meninggal dalam keadaan husnul khatimah. Seketika semua peserta terhenyak dan menganggukkan kepala.

Ustadz bertanya lagi kalau cita-cita jangka menengah adalah meninggal dalam keadaan husnul khatimah. Kira-kira apakah cita-cita jangka panjang? Kali ini, karena telah mendapat clue, mayoritas peserta menjawab bahwa cita-cita jangka panjang adalah masuk surga. Ustadz pun mengaminkan dan memberi tambahan: cita-cita jangka panjang adalah masuk surga dan bertemu dengan Allah. “Inilah yang harus menjadi ultimate goal (tujuan utama) seorang muslim”, pesan ustadz.

Beberapa tahun berselang, ketika membaca terjemah surah Al-Kahf ayat 110, saya baru menyadari bahwa pesan ustadz ternyata sudah disebutkan di dalam Al-Qur’an bahkan hampir setiap pekan dibaca.

قُلۡ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ يُوۡحٰٓى اِلَىَّ اَنَّمَاۤ اِلٰهُكُمۡ اِلٰـهٌ وَّاحِدٌ‌ ۚ فَمَنۡ كَانَ يَرۡجُوۡالِقَآءَ رَبِّهٖ فَلۡيَـعۡمَلۡ عَمَلًا صَالِحًـاوَّلَايُشۡرِكۡ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهٖۤ اَحَدًا

Katakanlah (Muhammad), "Sesungguhnya aku ini hanya seorang manusia seperti kamu, yang telah menerima wahyu, bahwa sesungguhnya Tuhan kamu adalah Tuhan Yang Maha Esa." Maka barangsiapa mengharap pertemuan dengan Tuhannya maka hendaklah dia mengerjakan kebajikan dan janganlah dia mempersekutukan dengan sesuatu pun dalam beribadah kepada Tuhannya. (QS. al-Kahf [18]: 110)

Dalam buku Lessons from Surah Al-Kahf, Dr. Yasir Qadhi menjelaskan bahwa ada dua kondisi yang harus dipenuhi agar kita bisa bertemu dengan Allah: iman dan amal shalih. Kita harus berbuat kebaikan dengan ikhlas dan semata-mata hanya karena Allah. Dan ketika kita menemukan bahwa niat kita bergeser kepada selain Allah, maka kita harus segera kembali kepada Allah untuk mencari perlindungan dan ampunan-Nya. Berikut adalah do’a yang diajarkan oleh Rasulullah kepada Abu Bakar r.a:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ

“Ya Allah, aku berlindung kepada-Mu, agar tidak menyekutukan-Mu, sedang aku mengetahuinya dan minta ampun terhadap apa yang tidak aku ketahui."

Apabila kita merasa riya’, segeralah baca do’a ini dan Allah akan menghapus perasaan tersebut. Kita membaca do’a kepada Allah untuk diberikan keikhlasan dan selalu memonitor agar apa-apa yang kita lakukan semata-mata fi sabilillah.

Secure Against Dajjal Fitnah

A person who recites the last ten verses of Surah every Friday will be protected from the fitnah of Dajjal when Dajjal came out.

Shine Light

He who reads Surah al-Kahf on Fridays, ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) will shower a light (NOOR) on his face that will last till the next two Fridays.

Forgive Sins

Those who recite this Surah on every Friday, ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) will forgive all of his/her sins.

Protect from Poverty

Whoever reads Surah al-Kahf on Fridays, ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) will bless his house and protect him/her from poverty.

"An Ocean of Ink." Conclusion to Surah 18, Al Kahf, "the Force."

Love is not in the air, only vengeance. No matter were one reads, as the Quran says, the Messengers have attempted to end the causes of vengeance by explaining it can ultimately have no profit unless it is Judgement Day, the very last time.

God told Muhammad if we could do it, stop the abuse, life on earth would resume its primordial shape. We know this is true, but the process of turning peace into a profit center that is as lucrative for the powerful as war, that process has not yet been found.

The Surah draws to a close with a convincing argument: Only where people are equal can the profit motive be pure enough to sustain the needs of the human race without causing the vicious cycle of war and peace. If the Kafh has any definition equilibrium would do.

Surah 18: 107-110.

"Indeed, those who believe and do good will have the Gardens of Paradise1 as an accommodation,

where they will be forever, never desiring anywhere else.

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If the ocean were ink for ˹writing˺ the Words of my Lord, it would certainly run out before the Words of my Lord were finished, even if We refilled it with its equal.”

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I am only a man like you, ˹but˺ it has been revealed to me that your God is only One God. So whoever hopes for the meeting with their Lord, let them do good deeds and associate none in the worship of their Lord.”

Thus ends the Surah.

17. Suratul Bani Israel : The chapter of the Children of Israel or Al- Isra (The Night Journey).

Makkah –111 Aayats.

This Surah in brief:

1.) What is the comparison of the Deen of Rasulullaah (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) to the rest of the religions?

2.) Just as Rasulullaah (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) is the Imaam (leader) of all Nabis -as seen in the event of meeraj- and so is his Deen to the rest of the religions.

3.) The Da'wah of Haq and the demand of responding to it.

4.) The similitude of the Da'wah given to us is like a spiritual "Day" wherein one is alert and sees it necessary to use the strength of all faculties in accomplishing any work.

5.) The Ahkaam (rulings) of the Da'wah to the truth explained in detail in two rules.

6.) All obstacles to the truth should be refuted after having responded to the Da'wah of the truth is explained in two rukus.

7.) If no response is made to the Da'wah of truth then whilst one is on the passage of Dunya (world) there is an oppressive robber who is ever ready to snatch away the effects of your Iman. Therefore if you have responded to their Da'wah then the effects of Iman will carry you safely through.

8.) If no response is made to this Da'wah then an eternal blindness will emanate of which horrid consequences will result. They will be severely penalized in the Aakhirat (hereafter).

9.) If one desires to be safe from the worldly and hereafter blindness then dosages should be considered from the source of cure and mercy.

10.) It is essential to abstain from asking irrelevant questions is mentioned in two rukus.

11.) Have high moral levels, treat parents kindly, pray for them, ‘brothers of satan’ are lavish spendthrifts. Do not waste proudly.

12.) The qualities of those who responded to the Da'wah are stated.

18. Suratul Kahf : The chapter of the Cave.

Makkah- 110 Aayats

This Surah in brief:

After a brief introduction, four categories of people in life are exemplified. From these examples it has been proven that each category can obtain the actual respect and comfort if their connection with ALLAH is improved.

The categories are:

1. The lowest level of pious – i.e. the Ashabal Kahf – the Inhabitants of the cave. From Ruku 1 – 4.

2. The lowest level of the worldly orientation – i.e. Ashabel Jannatian – the owners of the two orchids. From Raku 5 – 8. One rich the others poor. Rich was ungrateful. Warned by the poor. The rich man’s fruits were destroyed by rainstorm.

3. The highest level of the pious. The Nabi Moosa (ALAYHI SALAAM). From Raku 9 –10.

4. The highest level of the worldly orientation – i.e. Zul Qarnain from Ruku 11-12. Thus we have:-

1. Introduction.

2. The Ashabul Khaf hide in the cave.

3. Their awakening after deep sleep. The reason for Ashabul Khaf hiding is because they were monotheists.

1. After awakening from the deep sleep one of the companions went to purchase some food.

2. People are informed by analogy of this incident (the deep sleep) like death, then Qiyaamat (judgement day) will occur in the like manner (i.e. resurrection). The duration of their sleeping period was three hundred and nine years.

1) Muwahhid (monotheist) invites his fellow Mushrik (polytheists) companion to the true Deen of Islaam.

2) The Mushrik remorse is instant after the destruction of the orchids.

3.) The illusions of Dunya pleasures are explained as an appendix in comparison to the past subject of righteous

deeds.

4.) Those who severe their ties with ALLAH (i.e. Mushrikeen – Polytheists) strengthen their ties with Shaytaan the accursed enemy.

5.) Who can be more unfortunate than that person who severs ties with ALLAH and turns away when being called to HIS signs ?

6.) Moosa (Alayhis Salaam) takes on a journey to meet Khidar (Alayhis Salaam).

7.) After having met, conditions are laid for mutual benefit.

14வது தாராவீ

17. சூரத்துல் பானி இஸ்ரேல் : இஸ்ரவேல் குழந்தைகள் அல்லது அல்-இஸ்ரா (இரவுப் பயணம்) அத்தியாயம்.

மக்கா –111 ஆயாத்துகள்.

சுருக்கமாக இந்த சூரா:

1.) ரசூலுல்லாஹு அலைஹி வஸல்லம் அவர்களின் தீனை மற்ற மதங்களுடன் ஒப்பிடுவது என்ன?

2.) ரசூலுல்லாஹ் (ஸல்) அவர்கள் அனைத்து நபிமார்களுக்கும் இமாம் (தலைவர்) என்பது போல் - மீராஜின் நிகழ்வில் காணப்படுவது போல் - மற்ற மதங்களுக்கும் அவருடைய தீன்.

3.) ஹக்கின் தஃவா மற்றும் அதற்கு பதிலளிக்கும் கோரிக்கை.

4.) நமக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்ட தஃவாவின் ஒற்றுமை ஒரு ஆன்மீக "நாள்" போன்றது, அதில் ஒருவர் விழிப்புடன் இருப்பதோடு, எந்த ஒரு வேலையையும் நிறைவேற்றுவதில் அனைத்து திறன்களின் வலிமையையும் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

5.) சத்தியத்திற்கான தஃவாவின் அஹ்காம் (விதிமுறைகள்) இரண்டு விதிகளில் விரிவாக விளக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

6.) இரண்டு ருகூவுகளில் சத்தியத்தின் தஃவாவுக்கு பதிலளித்த பிறகு, சத்தியத்திற்கான அனைத்து தடைகளையும் நிராகரிக்க வேண்டும்.

7.) சத்தியத்தின் தஃவாவுக்கு எந்த பதிலும் அளிக்கப்படவில்லை என்றால், ஒருவர் துன்யா (உலகம்) கடந்து செல்லும் போது, உங்கள் ஈமானின் விளைவுகளைப் பறிக்கத் தயாராக இருக்கும் ஒரு அடக்குமுறை கொள்ளைக்காரன் இருக்கிறான். எனவே அவர்களின் தஃவாவிற்கு நீங்கள் பதிலளித்திருந்தால், ஈமானின் விளைவுகள் உங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பாகக் கொண்டு செல்லும்.

8.) இந்த தஃவாவிற்கு எந்த பதிலும் அளிக்கப்படாவிட்டால், ஒரு நித்திய குருட்டுத்தன்மை வெளிப்படும், அதன் பயங்கரமான விளைவுகள் ஏற்படும். அவர்கள் ஆக்கிரத்தில் (இனிமேல்) கடுமையாக தண்டிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

9.) ஒருவர் உலக மற்றும் மறுமை குருட்டுத்தன்மையிலிருந்து பாதுகாப்பாக இருக்க விரும்பினால், சிகிச்சை மற்றும் கருணையின் மூலத்திலிருந்து மருந்தளவுகள் பரிசீலிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.

10.) சம்பந்தமில்லாத கேள்விகளைக் கேட்பதைத் தவிர்ப்பது இன்றியமையாதது இரண்டு ருகூவுகளில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

11.) உயர்ந்த தார்மீக நிலைகளைக் கொண்டிருங்கள், பெற்றோரை அன்பாக நடத்துங்கள், அவர்களுக்காக ஜெபிக்க வேண்டும், 'சாத்தானின் சகோதரர்கள்' ஆடம்பரமாக செலவழிப்பவர்கள். பெருமையாக வீணாக்காதீர்கள்.

12.) தஃவாவுக்கு பதிலளித்தவர்களின் குணங்கள் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன.

18. சூரத்துல் கஹ்ஃப் : குகையின் அத்தியாயம்.

மக்கா - 110 ஆயாட்டுகள்

சுருக்கமாக இந்த சூரா:

ஒரு சுருக்கமான அறிமுகத்திற்குப் பிறகு, வாழ்க்கையில் நான்கு வகை மக்கள் உதாரணம் காட்டப்படுகின்றனர். ஒவ்வொரு பிரிவினரும் அல்லாஹ்வுடனான தொடர்பு மேம்படுத்தப்பட்டால் உண்மையான மரியாதையையும் ஆறுதலையும் பெற முடியும் என்பது இந்த எடுத்துக்காட்டுகளிலிருந்து நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

வகைகள்:

1. மிகக் குறைந்த அளவிலான பக்திமான்கள் - அதாவது அஷாபல் கஹ்ஃப் - குகையில் வசிப்பவர்கள். ருகூ 1 – 4 வரை.

2. உலக நோக்குநிலையின் மிகக் குறைந்த நிலை - அதாவது அஷாபெல் ஜன்னடியன் - இரண்டு ஆர்க்கிட்களின் உரிமையாளர்கள். ராகு 5 முதல் 8. ஒரு பணக்காரன் மற்றவன் ஏழை. பணக்காரன் நன்றி கெட்டவனாக இருந்தான். ஏழைகளால் எச்சரிக்கப்பட்டது. செல்வந்தரின் பழங்கள் மழையால் அழிந்தன.

3. பக்திமான்களின் உயர்ந்த நிலை. நபி மூஸா (அலைஹி ஸலாம்). ராகு 9-10 வரை.

4. உலக நோக்குநிலையின் மிக உயர்ந்த நிலை - அதாவது ருகூ 11-12 இலிருந்து சுல் கர்னைன். இவ்வாறு எங்களிடம் உள்ளது:-

1. அறிமுகம்.

2. அஷாபுல் காஃப் குகையில் ஒளிந்து கொள்கிறது.

3. ஆழ்ந்த உறக்கத்திற்குப் பிறகு அவர்களின் விழிப்பு. அஷாபுல் காஃப் மறைந்ததற்குக் காரணம் அவர்கள் ஏகத்துவவாதிகளாக இருந்ததேயாகும்.

1. ஆழ்ந்த உறக்கத்தில் இருந்து விழித்தபின் தோழர்களில் ஒருவர் உணவு வாங்கச் சென்றார்.

2. மரணம் போன்ற இந்தச் சம்பவத்தின் (ஆழ்ந்த உறக்கத்தின்) ஒப்புமை மூலம் மக்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது, பின்னர் கியாமத் (தீர்ப்பு நாள்) அதே முறையில் (அதாவது உயிர்த்தெழுதல்) நிகழும். அவர்கள் தூங்கும் காலம் முன்னூற்று ஒன்பது ஆண்டுகள்.

1) முவாஹித் (ஏகத்துவவாதி) தனது சக முஷ்ரிக் (பலதெய்வவாதிகள்) தோழரை இஸ்லாத்தின் உண்மையான தீனுக்கு அழைக்கிறார்.

2) ஆர்க்கிட்கள் அழிக்கப்பட்ட பிறகு முஷ்ரிக் வருத்தம் உடனடியாக உள்ளது.

3.) துன்யா இன்பங்களின் மாயைகள் நீதியின் கடந்த கால விஷயத்துடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் பிற்சேர்க்கையாக விளக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

செயல்கள்.

4.) அல்லாஹ்வுடன் (அதாவது முஷ்ரிகீன் - பலதெய்வவாதிகள்) தங்கள் உறவைத் துண்டிப்பவர்கள் சபிக்கப்பட்ட எதிரியான ஷைத்தானுடன் தங்கள் உறவை வலுப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.

5.) அல்லாஹ்வுடனான உறவைத் துண்டித்து, அவனது அடையாளங்களுக்காக அழைக்கப்படும்போது விலகிச் செல்லும் நபரை விட துரதிர்ஷ்டவசமானவர் யார் இருக்க முடியும்?

6.) மூசா (அலை) கிதாரை (அலைஹிஸ்ஸலாம்) சந்திக்க ஒரு பயணத்தை மேற்கொள்கிறார்.

7.) சந்தித்த பிறகு, பரஸ்பர நன்மைக்காக நிபந்தனைகள் விதிக்கப்படுகின்றன.

اَللّٰهُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ اَلْحَيُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ ەۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهٗ سِنَةٌ وَّلَا نَوْمٌۗ لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِيْ يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهٗٓ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهٖۗ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْۚ وَلَا يُحِيْطُوْنَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهٖٓ اِلَّا بِمَا شَاۤءَۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَۚ وَلَا يَـُٔوْدُهٗ حِفْظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيْمُ

Allahu laa ilaaha illaa Huwal Hayyul Qoyyuum, laa ta’khudzuhuu sinatuw walaa nauum, la Huu maa fis samawaati wa maa fil ardh, mann dzalladzii yasyfa’u ‘inda Huu, illa bi idznih, ya’lamu maa bayna aidiihim wa maa kholfahum, wa laa yuhiituuna bisyayim min ‘ilmi Hii illaa bi maa syaa’, wa si’a kursiyyuus samaawaati walardh, wa laa yauudlu Huu hifdzuhumaa, wa Huwal ‘aliyyul ‘adziiim.

اٰمَنَ الرَّسُوۡلُ بِمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡهِ مِنۡ رَّبِّهٖ وَ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‌ؕ كُلٌّ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَلٰٓٮِٕكَتِهٖ وَكُتُبِهٖ وَرُسُلِهٖ ۚ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنۡ رُّسُلِهٖ‌ ۚ وَقَالُوۡا سَمِعۡنَا وَاَطَعۡنَا‌ ۖ غُفۡرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَاِلَيۡكَ الۡمَصِيۡرُ

Aamanar-Rasuulu bimaaa unzila ilaihi mir-Rabbihii walmu'minuun; kullun aamana billaahi wa Malaaa'ikathihii wa Kutubhihii wa Rusulih laa nufarriqu baina ahadim-mir-Rusulihii wa qooluu sami'naa wa ata'naa ghufraanaka Rabbanaa wa ilaikal-masiir

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ ��َفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَهَا ‌ؕ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡهَا مَا اكۡتَسَبَتۡ‌ؕ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَاۤ اِنۡ نَّسِيۡنَاۤ اَوۡ اَخۡطَاۡنَا ‌ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَاۤ اِصۡرًا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهٗ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِنَا ‌‌ۚرَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهٖ‌ ۚ وَاعۡفُ عَنَّا وَاغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَارۡحَمۡنَا ۚ اَنۡتَ مَوۡلٰٮنَا فَانۡصُرۡنَا عَلَى الۡقَوۡمِ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ

La yukallifullahu nafsan illa wusaha, laha ma kasabat wa alaiha maktasabat, rabbana la tu'akhizna in nasina au akhta'na, rabbana wa la tahmil alaina isran kama hamaltahu alal-lazina min qablina, rabbana wa la tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bih(i), wafu anna, wagfir lana, warhamna, anta maulana fansurna alal qaumil-kafirin.

وَمَنْ يَّتَّقِ اللّٰهَ يَجْعَلْ لَّهٗ مَخْرَجًا ۙ وَّيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُۗ وَمَنْ يَّتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهٗ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ بَالِغُ اَمْرِهٖۗ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا

Wa may yattaqillaha yaj al-lahu makhraja. Wa yarzuq-hu min aisu la yahtasib, wa may yatawakkal alallahi fa huwa hasbuh, innallaha baligu amrih, qad ja alallahu likulli syai in qadra.

Artinya: “Barangsiapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah, niscaya Dia akan membukakan jalan keluar baginya. Dan memberinya rezeki dari arah yang tiada disangka-sangkanya. Dan barang siapa yang bertawakal kepada Allah, niscaya Allah akan mencukupkan (keperluan)nya. Sesungguhnya Allah melaksanakan urusan yang (dikehendaki)-Nya, sesungguhnya Allah telah mengadakan ketentuan bagi tiap-tiap sesuatu." (QS. Ath-Thalaq: 2-3).
