Inside Job - We would have to be blind to not see what’s going on and Superior Avenue near the Interbelt. The redevelopment of the ArtCraft building is on full display, and has been for the last few years.

It was only recently disclosed that this would be the new headquarters of the Cleveland Police Department, so I was asked to be careful about how I display the photos that I was taking for my client who was installing the new “ historically accurate” windows. At first, I was only given permission to post pictures taken from the street outside the building, which is what everybody was seeing. These pictures I got to take from inside, on the building’s seventh floor, are very special to me.

UPDATE: CLEVELAND CURFEW LIFTED! The Downtown/Ohio City Civil Unrest Curfew lifted at 6am today, and will not be renewed at this time. However, the City of Cleveland retains the right to impose a new Curfew should conditions warrant such a move, based upon verified information of possible violence against the peace and well-being of the Municipality. Thus, all transit services from GCRTA, Akron METRO, LAKETRAN and SARTA into the City are restored. PARTA service remains suspended due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Additional venues in Ohio will reopen starting June 10, including museums, zoos, art galleries and aquariums. Gaming operations and amusement parks may return starting June 19. Jpeg of the Week #1,181 - CrossCountry Mortgage, really turning heads in the #SuperiorArtsDistrict - Top two photos were shot for the company installing the new windows. The next two photos are progress photos of phase two on the same block. 

The entire block, actually, the entire neighborhood has a fascinating history in the textiles industry. Today, it is turning into Arts, Finance and housing.

The bottom photo I shot Tuesday when they hoisted the signs into place.
