• Of course! I'm taking it a little slow with the oneshots, but do feel free to request for hcs for charatcers and what not!

☆ . Being the youngest, the entire team treats him like a little brother. When he is unable to go out due to his many accidents, they try their best to make spare time for him!

☆ . Back onto the first headcanon, if the rct team is free; they LOVE to build pillow forts together! Sometimes, Helly even asks to play 'kingdom' with them. Helly likes to protray himself as various things, but its usually him with a paper crown and a blanket as a cape.

☆ . Loves making artcrafts! For each member he had made one for them, and they all treasure it dearly.

☆ . Helly doesn't like the dark. It reminds him of when he fell in that ravine in episode 2 season 3. Usually Roy sits with him (because of his horrible sleeping schedule, hes usually awake) and comforts him until he falls asleep. Jin had made a little helicopter shaped lamp to solve this problem!

☆ . Droney and him are like best friends. They go on little adventures together, even if it causes total chaos.

☆ . Speaking of Droney and Helly, they LOVE to prank the entire rescue team. Once, they had filled up Poli's locker with fake catterpillars. Let's just say the entire town have heard Poli's screams that day..

☆ . Pretty sure this is a little canon but; he sometimes feels a little useless to the team. He has this mindset as to where they found him annoying because due to him being a child, he cant keep up very well. But the team reasures him that they love him and it will always be that way.

☆ . (This is a bit Royber related, forgive me.) Loves to tease Roy over his crush on Amber. The amount of times he has called Roy a hopeless romantic is priceless!

☆ . Loves food like any typical kid does. Candy, cake. And what not! And hates food that any typical kid does. Vegetables, especially green peppers. Poli and him have a shared hate over vegetables. (Little do they know, roy sneaks in veggies in their meals sometimes.)

☆ . He sometimes helps Jin out whenever shes making one of her many insane inventions. Sometimes, she even lets him screw a few things here and there!

☆ . On my GL2 design, he has a little hairclip of colors that represent the team. He just views the entire team as his older siblings.

☆ . Developed spring allergies. Spring is certainly not of his favourite seasons. It would be actually summer! He loves to play around on the beach.

☆ . Whenever him and Jin bicker, his way of apologizing is drawing Jin a little something. Jin had made a board to hang onto the wall so she can put his drawings onto there.

☆ . There's not a single day where you dont see him without a bandaid. It's practically an accessory to his outfit now.

☆ . He lights up the team in every way. Sometimes, he even manages to get them into one of his many silly shenanigans. (Besides Droney, Roy and him love to prank the others too. ESPECIALLY Poli.)

☆ . Once tried to make a propeller for Roy when the fire engine said he wishes he could fly like him too. Lets just say, it didnt end up very well..

Participants will receive makeup application tools and have the opportunity to experiment with various makeup products and build small prostheses such as scars.

November 11: MatchBOX Maker Showcase - This open house at MatchBOX Makerspace will allow attendees to see work from a variety of makers and explore many creative techniques. "...And Sewing Is Half The Battle!" will be there to talk about sewing and costuming.

November 15 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM: Thermoplastics Workshop - This workshop will teach the basics of working with thermoplastics for prop and armormaking. O My Gulay is one of the unique restaurants in Baguio that is located at the top floor of La Azotea building along session road. Cordillera culture is reflected in everything you would see in the place. Their wooden stairs arranged in a weird manner would take you up to their door cemented with broken tiles.

Entering it would reveal you to a forest like world with all furnishings having a touch of the Igorot culture.

Luckily for the vegetarians, this is the perfect place for you since coming from the name itself, all their food are vegetables. They also serve meat but the menu I ordered still has more vegetables in it.

So if ever you come across this restaurant do not forget to visit their Art Gallery. It is a one room gallery where paintings, artcrafts and such are merged together and are transformed into an artwork.

Take time to look at the masterpieces crafted by the artists such as Kidlat to somehow peek into Cordillera's history.

Week 6 - Supplemental

Prefabricated Housing: Abode for the Common Man

As I searched for interesting examples of architecture this week, I remembered that Marshall, WI is home to a rare Lustron pre-manufactured home.  Lustron homes were manufactured from enameled steel panels and steel skeletons. They were only produced between 1948 and 1950 and intended to provide affordable housing for soldiers returned from WWII.  Components were shipped to the building site and assembled on concrete foundations. I grew up in a later version of pre-fabricated housing, a modest 1950’s two-bedroom model that was composed of two modular components placed side-by-side.  The only evidence I ever saw for this was my father’s word and the unusual configuration of floor joists as seen from the basement.  I never learned the manufacturer of my childhood home.  It was not outwardly different from traditional construction in my neighborhood.

Not long after I left my modular childhood home, I settled into the epitome of prefabrication—the trailer house.  My 1979 Artcraft was 14 feet wide and 70 feet long and boasted 2x4 construction allowing for the possible installation of ordinary double-glazed windows and a shingled roof. There were no external architectural details to speak of, but the interior designer in me did appreciate the efficient use of interior space.

William Morris and his Art Nouveau affiliates imagined a comprehensive methodology of art and design that would change and improve people and society.  Our Eskilson text ruefully notes how the products of the movement tended to be far to expensive for common consumption thus minimizing the intended social influence.  So it was with the Usonian home.  Usonia was the word Frank Lloyd Wright applied to his philosophy for housing and modern urban planning.  A usonian home was a bizarre juxtaposition of “economical” features (no attic, no basement, minimal ornamentation) with bespoke design.  Wright designed each home for a specific client and controlled every detail.  In the case of the example I saw in Columbus WI, the Wisconsin Historical Register states that the owners had to obtain permission from Wright to make and addition on the home as their family grew.  (More on Usonian home design at: https://www.dwell.com/article/usonian-homes-frank-lloyd-wright-e75b5b56)

Corner Lot Modern Farmhouse

  Happy Thursday, my friends.. or whichever day you’re seeing this. How are you today? I must say that I spent most of my week feeling a little grumpy. I am usually very positive, always feeling thankful for everything, which I really am, but this winter got to me! It’s being really cold and we’re getting so much snow that I am missing getting outside and breathing some fresh air without feeling as if I am breathing icicles! 🙂

But life goes on and nothing’s better than a day after the other, right?  I am feeling better today for two reasons: You can’t change how it’s outside but you can certainly change how you feel inside. Besides, being grumpy because how the weather is, is being a little spoiled, right?! When something is not the way you wish it was, just laugh at the situation. Improve what you can and laugh at the rest. Nothing is fully in our control and that’s a blessing! 🙂

Now, let’s talk about this stunning corner lot modern farmhouse?! First off, just look how beautiful the day seems. I see the blue skies, the trees with leaves and that alone is making me happy. Add the beautiful architectural details and you have a great home to be inspired by.

  Interior Design Ideas: Corner Lot Modern Farmhouse

This home is not big and it could work on almost any lot – not only on a corner lot. Notice the  board-and-batten siding, the front porch and the brick accent, which really gives this home a timeless feel.

A fireplace with chevron marble mosaic tile and beam mantel is the focal point of the family room.

The kitchen island features a custom gray color. Unfortunately, the island looks like it had a blue-ish tint or purple. In person, the island is actually a gray color. If you like the color you see above you can give Benjamin Moore Normandy a try! That’s a similar color to what we see above.
