Super Soco to Debut Two New Electric Machines at Motorcycle Live
Britain’s most popular electric motorcycle manufacturer Super Soco is giving two new machines their UK debut at Motorcycle Live, the CU-X Scooter and the Café Racer styled TC-Max; the fastest and most powerful Super Soco to date. Based in Hall 4, Stand 4C35 those visiting the show are encouraged to stop by the stand to learn more about the new models and company.
Launched in the UK in 2017, Super Soco offers urban riders a fast, fun, cost-effective and emission free way to get about town. The two current models, the TS and TC, have been very popular with motorcyclists looking for an environmentally friendly way to enjoy two wheels. Already the largest, and most popular, electric motorcycle brand in the UK, Super Soco is excited to be expanding its range further for 2019 with the addition of two brand new machines.
Unveiled at EICMA, the all-new CU-X will be making its UK debut at Motorcycle Live this weekend allowing visitors to get up close with the future of scootering. Featuring a 1.3kW Bosch Motor and weighing just 70kg, the CU-X offers riders up to 40 miles of riding on one charge and can be fully re-charged in seven hours – meaning riders can commute in the mornings, charge the removable battery whilst at work and then ride home.
The stylish scooter features a carbon structural steel frame which offers less vibration and increased comfort, all-in-one wing-style LED tail lights and has been ergonomically designed to allow riders to easily touch the ground whilst still allowing those over 180cm the room to stretch freely.
Highly energy efficient, the CU-X features an intelligent high-brightness dash display whilst the battery management system protects the battery from over-charge and discharge as well as offering over-current protection and short-circuit protection. The CU-X will be available in Moonlight White, Ferrarier Red, Starlight Silver and Space Gray and will cost £2,099 (after government grant, to be confirmed).
Alongside the CU-X, Super Soco will also be debuting its fastest and most powerful motorcycle to date; the TC-Max. With a top speed of over 60mph and acceleration to rival the fastest petrol 125cc bikes, the machine targets a more aggressive rider by offering 180N.m of torque. The removable, 72v and 45Ah lithium-ion battery fully charges in just four and half hours and offers a maximum range of 80 miles.
Featuring the same cafe racer styling as the original TC, the TC-Max comes with Brembo hydraulic brakes and a combined braking system. The brand new battery was developed jointly with ATL (supplier of Apple batteries) and utilises pouch cells to pack more energy into a smaller space, while maintaining excellent cycle life compared to cylindrical cells. Target cost is £3,999 (after government grant, to be confirmed).
Both the CU-X and TC-Max will be compatible with the Soco App, allowing riders to stay fully in tune with their machine; synchronising battery information automatically, providing real-time location tracking and intelligent vehicle fault warnings.
Richard Jordan, founder of Super Soco in the UK said, “Since launching our first models in the UK, we’ve had a fantastic reception from existing motorcyclists and new riders looking for an efficient and eco-friendly way to get about town. Dealers are starting to recognise the potential for an electric future and 2018 has been a fantastic year for dealer recruitment. We’re very excited to be doubling our range of machines on offer in 2019 with the introduction of the CU-X, our first scooter, and the TC-Max which is the fastest and most powerful Super Soco to date.”

Took the #supersocotcmax out for #FastFriday with #perthcaferacers. Very thin, light and nimble. 3 different modes with mode 1 being good for commuting in traffic, mode 2 being suitable for higher speeds and mode 3 for when you need to go over 80kmh. Bike handles well and when you get used to not having levers at your feet then it's so easy to ride. Really enjoyed the silent ride through the suburbs. Would be a great getaway bike! . . #electricmotorcycle #electricbike #supersoco #TCMax @supersoco_aus_nz @supersocouk @supersoco_ger @supersocoespana @supersocoamsterdam @super_soco_france @supersocomoto @supersocoitalia @supersoco_iran @super_soco_chile @supersocopl (at Leederville, Western Australia, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBDwZQsBRtE/?igshid=qw26ixgf98wd
