Those who do not know what are they talking, they are talking about Rahxephon and Raudeen's reaction. One of them think they are not enemy but more than just friends (aka Rahx and Raideen are lover)

You fool, the light of the moon can never hope to touch the heavens!
.
It is super weird that Moderoid did the Great Zeorymer first as a model kit, before doing this, the base form, and most recognizable form, of Zeorymer of the Heavens. An internet friendo, when I shared a pic of the box when the kit showed up, said that Zeorymer was a deep cut, as far as mecha stuff goes.  And I suppose it is!  But I happen to love Zeorymer, I learned of it initially through the Super Robot Wars games (it appears in MX and J), and I went out and watched the anime (even have the box dvd set!), and really enjoyed it.  I keep getting told that the manga is... well there’s more story, but also it’s apparently kinda porny?  I’ll be honest not super interested in reading the manga personally, I’m fine with the good anime, and using in SRW games where both appearances it is an absolute BEAST of a unit that can solo most stages if you upgrade it at all.
Two more shots under the cut, but honestly there’s only pose that matters with the Zeorymer XD and thats the one above, the HADES ATTACK!  There’s no reason to pose it doing anything else really.

Earl Zolubu’s entrance
-Earl's intro, which references an 80's Super Robot Anime, 'Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos', and an famous WCW wrestler, Sting-
It usually starts with Earl shouting 'Cease!', and Earl will stand somewhere, light blue, white, and black aura fire being under him, in an 5 meter wide area, and mysteriously, black storm clouds come, no matter the time of day, even with that Earl has no weather powers, and thunder just starts to strike down. All the while he has face paint on, giving an short speech to his enemies, and then, after rebuttals the enemy's words with 'I am The Blue Scorpion King, mortal son of Hades & Persephone!', his left eye changes to having black sclera, glowing pupil in an solid green color, and veins around his eye sockets and face bulging, and just walks through the fire, but not burned shockingly. Then, after the fire 'circle' is dispelled, he stops at an arm's reach of the main enemy, if they are in an group, keeping his left eye locked on them, never breaking that. And music similar to Sting's 'Crow' theme plays, but with more of an Old Western, Scottish, and Gothic organ feel, plus with an deathly harmonica, taking cues from Ennio Moricone music from Leone's Spaghetti Westerns, and the first 33 seconds of Emissary of Heaven track from Machine Robo, but with an ominous, deathly, yet heroic tone. This goes all the way back where Earl couldn't fully open his inner aura, until he became an X-Hunter and learned Nen. Hideo Ishikawa Reprises His Role as Ryoma Nagare in Getter Robo Arc
Nine days ahead of its premiere in Japan, the official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Getter Robo Arc, the final installment of the Getter Robo Saga manga series created by Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa, announced 11 additional voice cast members, including 51-year-old Hideo Ishikawa who will reprise his role as Ryoma Nagare.
Ryoma is one of the protagonists of the original Getter Robo series, who piloted the Getter-1 (Getter Eagle), Getter Dragon, Black Getter, Shin Getter-1, and New Getter. Following Akira Kamiya, Ryoma's original voice cast in Getter Robo (1974-1975) and Getter Robo G (1975-1976), Ishikawa voiced Ryoma in Getter Robo Armageddon (1988-1989), Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo (2000-2001), and New Getter Robo (2004). It has been 17 years since he played Ryoma for the last time for an anime series (Meanwhile, he has since played Ryoma frequently for the Super Robot Wars game series).
Ishikawa says, "It's been 17 years since 'New Getter Robo,' and I was surprised to see a new story of Getter on TV in the age of Reiwa. The first Getter was in the Showa era, the three shows after 'Armageddon' were in the Heisei era, and 'Arc' is in the Reiwa era. So the world of Getter has been connected for three generations. Once again, I think it is a great series. This is the fourth time for me to play Ryoma's character voice. I want to watch over the activities of his son Takuma, who has inherited the fate of the Getter, and the passionate battles of the new Getter team, together with all the fans."

The Madness of Super Robot Wars MX; or A Six Car Pileup Occurred On The Road To Being God
Super Robot Wars is a beautiful act of madness.
Super Robot Wars is a series of crossover games that takes whatever giant robot shows it can get it’s hands on, and attempts to to combine them into a semi-cohesive timeline of events. Naturally, the result is always a beautiful mess: a world in which there are multiple wars and alien invasions occurring concurrently, a world that seems to discover a new energy source that can fuel a giant robot every other week, a world in which Japan is a lightning rod for the weirdest shit, a world full of secret societies and hidden empires, a world full of psychics, superhumans, cyborgs, aliens, gods, and monsters.
I adore it. It is spectacular and bizarre, and I love seeing the results of trying to shove 20+ distinct shows into a single world, a layer cake of confusing history and bewildering mythology, stitched together by some sort of grand miracle.
Take for example, Super Robot Wars MX, a game which I recently finished reading a playthrough of. It attempts to shove pre-Char’s Counterattack UC Gundam, G Gundam, Eva, RahXephon, Nadesico, a bunch of old 70′s robot shows, and a whole bunch of other shows into one cohesive timeline.
Some highlights:
Earth has suffered at least five invasions by empires alien or secret in nature, and is currently dealing with five different alien invasions, two evolving sentient giant robots (one recently revived from the dead), a war with a separatist space colony, an uprising by fascists on Jupiter, a battle with a secretive monarchy of genetically engineered semi-clones with giant robots, and the Hundred Demon Empire.
There are three secretive organizations on the side of the heroes with dubious intentions that have teenagers running around in god-mechs.
The Gundam Fight still occurs, despite the whole premise of the Gundam Fight being that the world has a giant robot fighting tournament instead of waging war, and there still being a whole lot of war in the world.
A villain revived the Dark Gundam, an incredibly deadly bioweapon/sentient giant robot, just because he wanted a magic rock to not interfere with his plans of becoming god.
RahXephon and Neon Genesis Evangelion, both shows about angels/armageddon/becoming god, get a lot of their plotline and mythology merged, which mean that the nonsense level shoots through the roof.
There are a ludicrous number of alternative, super powerful energy sources-photon energy, Getter Rays, Daimolight, the Dimensional Coupler System, Mutron, the Meteor Cube, and Terminus Energy.
One character ends up just dropping his show’s plotline halfway through the game by just blowing up all his villains with an energy sphere.
A group of aliens have a conversation about the existence of god, and how one of them wants to get enough energy to have eternal life and outlive the cycle of death and rebirth of the universe
The overarching mythology of the universe is explained by two characters via an incredibly tortured and overlong metaphor regarding the phrase “all the world’s a stage.”
The game has a lot of fun with the phrase “deus ex machina,” specifically both how it relates to the aforementioned stage metaphor, and how a squad of pilots in giant robots is kind of like a mechanical god.
The game ends with what amounts to a six-way fight for who gets to be god. The villains ultimate plan is to have her learning AI/giant robot look at someone else ascending to godhood and grab that magic rock, which will give it godlike powers.

I finished Super Robot Wars V yesterday and I gotta say, I loved it!
Tumblr media
Anyone that knew me in my in college years knows that I’m a huge SRW fan and to finally be able to play an official English translated version of this game was a dream come true. It just might be my favorite of the franchise rn beating out MX (which is very nostalgic for me as it was my first game in the franchise)
Being no stranger to the SRW franchise I flew through the game pretty easily even on hard mode especially with the new addition of being able to use skills during the enemy’s turn but the final boss was something different, offering a real challenge.
Story wise it’s freaking wild, like fanfic territory, but in a fun way like a kid playing with his toys. New series like Space Battleship Yamato, Might Gaine, and Cross Ange (unfortunately) really got to shine here and the introduction of Emperor Mazinger was just bad-ass. Unfortunately I don’t think Rebuild of Eva was used properly but then again how could they when there’s still another movie coming.
Overall I had fun and what I took away from the series involved is that I wanna check out Full Metal Panic and Space Battleship Yamato, Might Gaine is cheesy good fun, and stay the hell away from Cross Ange.

Mecha Anime GEAR Fighter Dendoh Launches 20th Anniversary Celebrations
20 years ago, Sunrise premiered GEAR Fighter Dendoh: a mecha anime in which two grade-school pilots took on an alien threat in their awesome battery-powered robot. Now, fans can relive the excitement thanks to a 20th anniversary initiative from Sunrise.
Sunrise will be kicking off the program by running the first episode of the series on their official YouTube channel for a limited time. The episode will be viewable from July 20 to August 19, 2020. Region availability has not yet been confirmed.
Yatate Bunko, Sunrise's light novel imprint, will also be taking part. The imprint, which has published web novelizations and continuations of properties like Mashin Hero Wataru and GaoGaiGar, is teasing new GEAR Fighter Dendoh content from the show's original staff. To kick off, they'll be running an interview with chief director Mitsuo Fukuda and producer Naotake Furusato.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Sunrise mecha show without merch! The show's two main units, GEAR Fighter Dendoh and Knight Gear Oger, will be getting the Super Mini PLA treatment Bandai.
And finally—at least for now—players of mobile game Super Robot Wars X-Ω can look forward to Dendoh and Oger appearing in-game this year. This will mark the first time the series has been a part of the franchise since 2005, when a Dendoh storyline appeared in Super Robot Wars MX.
More details will be announced over time on the anime's official website.
