OTP: 

SunWook : Kim Sun Ah and Lee Dong Wook - during Scent of a Woman. That tango (fans self). Those BTSs. The me2day flirting. Wook’s unstoppable smile when talking about her. Yeah.

Current WGM: liking them but not with a passion: Taemin-Naeun  - cute to the max, but frustratingly childish still.

And *drumroll* MC Hyejin and Danny Ahn. Sometimes there are these glances between them… it’s like a slow burning heat. She flirts, he teases. Watch it.

BroTP: EunTeuk - surprised? Teuk is good with most everyone on the team, but in most cases it’s a situation of Teuk giving and them thankful for his care. With EunTeuk, there’s some of that, but ever since EunHyuk took over I feel like he understands now really what it’s like to be Teuk, and though we haven’t seen them together since Eun Hyuk stepped up to the leadership position, I dare say we will see them be closer than ever now. I also like how they play off each other (DJ EunTeuk have the craziest footage) and even their fights.  

And I like leaders who are loyal and hardworking. 

And my first OTP ever, back when I had no idea what an OTP was? Moonlighting - Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd - David and Maddie. For me, the original squabbling but hot couple.

Sunwook's Scenarios 2012

Scent of A Woman was filmed and aired approximately one and half years ago! Can you imagine how late I am when I just finished it last week?

It was a great drama. Korean drama relies heavily on the couple, the chemistry between them. For me it does. Thats why some people might say City hunter is extremely good while I dont care much of it.

I am a big fan of Kim Sun Ah since MNIKSS, and I have been following her drama ever since. Scent of a Woman is definitely my favorite because Lee dong wook is now my daily fix (insert big grin here)

I am a sunwook worshipper. I love them. They are so cute together and I love browsing over google and tumblr for their cute pictures or interviews or just their subtle lovey-doveyness.

and here is what i think.

I agree on how they present themselves with a closeness that we fans all expect. Looking from the pictures together which are very, very "coupl-Y" and cutre and all and how in various events they are presented together.

I think since the airing of the drama (July 2011) up until December 2011 they were close and the hype was really big. Everyone wanted them to be a real couple or just openly announce they date already. But one incident where Sun Ah closed her me2day account and deleted pictures with her and Wookie was really like the end. AFterwards they were never seen together again. Presumably, they both were busy with respectable new drama, "I do I do" and "wild romance".

BUt that was all really. Up until now, they were never seen together again. I think it's like the hype from Ji Wook-Yun Jae couple is all wiped slate clean. Of course there was also this rumor about jessica and dong wook which really pissed me off.

Anyway, one of the sunwook blogger I really like to visit is donnapie. In one of her post, there was a guest saying sunwook is still together but keeping very low profile.

However, I start to think that this all very well might have only been a glorified fan service after all. I dont deny that they are very close. There are several scenarios that swerve in my mind recently:

1. They are indeed a couple but after the hype and incident leading Sun Ah deleting her me2day account, it became apparent to them that if they want to just continue the relationship it is better to not show it to the public. Since sometimes the netizen could be so overwhelming especially when it comes to who dating whom, it is definitely the better choice to hide it. But thinking more about it, Sun Ah is not a teen idol. She is a mature woman, whose age is already 37. I assume she wants to get married. Not just her, but also her family. Believe me when I say the marriage age is a big deal in Asian culture, for women specifically. If she is indeed dating Wookie, I think they might have announced their relationship by now instead of just keeping a very low profile. If they want to get married, that is. Of course I am just a fan trying to put myself in her shoes, I cannot say whether she has the same thinking with me or even the opposite. I could see in variety show Taxi where she was asked about marriage, she became really serious and said that she would have shown the guy to the public if she were indeed in a relationship with him. Because thats what she did with her previous civilian boyfriend.

If this is the right scenario, I would assume that either one of the sides or both of them haven't really agreed upon the marriage issue and are still figuring everything out. Although I entertain myself a lot with the images of Sun Ah sneakily visits Wookie's house and spend the night, or how they sneak up sweet phone calls during their hectic schedule..^^

2. WORST scenario. They were close, but all the for the promotional sake. I won't hesitate saying their closeness is not fake, but both of them are never planning to date. They might playfully post some cute pictures and had gotten tremendous responses, and their management asked them to continue. But since the incident they were asked to just avoid being seen together in order to promote their other projects. In strong heart, lee dong wook was playfully teased as having been interested in younger girls and was also teased by shin dong yup about his many girl "friends". Well, these could be the truth or jokes, does not matter. I know celebrities put a certain facade to entertain their fans. I am not saying Lee dong wook is a player, but I never expect him to be the perfect guy either. I love him for his manly charm and his smoldering looks, and I love him with SUn Ah because any one could vouch for the chemistry between them outside the drama.

3. BAD scenario. They were together, but did not work out. well basically celebrities get together and break up all the time. The difference between hollywood celebrities and korean is that the korean celebrities are basically terrified with rumors and put high attention on their image. So for all we know, SUnWOOK might be together for a couple of months, but things just did not work out and they drift apart. Although I said above that I never expect wookie to be the perfect guy, I still believe he cares a lot for sun ah and he would never hurt her.

I am actually very curious as in which scenario is the truth or what happens might be an unthinkable, different one. All in all, I just want them to get together again and maybe reunited for another drama.

It's no secret to anyone who had been following me from day one that i started this blog mostly because of my obsession with Scent of a Woman and because of my fangirly, shippy feelings over the reel and real life pairing of Kim Sun Ah and Lee Dong Wook.

My fellow SunWook shippers and i had the best of times during their heydays with the me2day exchanges, the private photos they have shared of how they celebrate birthdays together, their Cebu Vacation and most of all their fanmeet in Singapore and Malaysia.

To see them still as close if not even closer, still has the power to send me into mindless spazzing.

It feels great to see them like this once again after the drought of so many years and as jkijkl007 who shared this photo has said, it is made even special by the fact that it was unexpected and that it was taken behind the scenes where it was only the two of them together.

All i can say is... I am one happy, lucky shipper.

After all this time when i've lost all hope and thought that they are not as sweet as they used to be... THIS HAPPENS.

Co-star Lee Dong Wook could not make it to the fan meeting, but left a surprise message for Kim Sun Ah and the fans. Aigooo.... Now watching again, Scent of a Woman with my tita. She's also a huge fan of korean drama. So when she ask me that she wants to watch korean drama, i immediately suggest to her the Scent of a Woman. Omana! And me? Ofcors, i accompany her. Holy Crap! spazzworthy! ♥____♥
