Hello there! Thanks for coming all the way to tumblr ♡

So, about those titles...I suppose this will be an interesting mix of genres.

For the classics, I recommend: Lois Lowry’s “The Giver”; Pearl S. Buck’s “The Good Earth”; George Owell’s “1984” and “Animal Farm”; Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s “One Hundred Years of Solitude”; and Leo Tolstoy’s “Anna Karenina”. I have a lot more in mind, and thought of including titles from authors that are in BSD as well, but thought you might have read them already in school/for leisure, haha!

I also like Dazai Osamu’s “The Setting Sun”, Haruki Murakami’s “Norwegian Wood”, Margaret Atwood’s “The Handmaid’s Tale”, and Kirino Natsuo’s “Out”; as well as YA, dystopian-themed works like James Dashner’s “The Maze Runner” series and Suzanne Collins’ “Hunger Games” trilogy.

Rick Riordan’s serials are a very memorable part of my teenage years, and I remember loving Stieg Larsson’s “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, and John Green’s “Paper Towns” and “Looking for Alaska”.

These titles are what I could list from the top of my head! I hope one of these catches your interest ^w^

The sound of footsteps could be heard as I tried to hold my breath and I hoped the sound of my beating heart could only be heard by me as I readjusted my hold on the knife.

I could hear the footsteps coming closer and I couldn't help the smirk that crossed my face, after all, I hadn't spent so many years tracking down my abuser not to be excited at the thought of finally being able to get my revenge.
