In June our comm went to the local zoological institute for ILD. My partner volunteers there and we frequent it in our free time so I'm a bit of an unofficial tour guide and know a lot of the animals' names 😅

Between the endless poplar fuzz and my old AP purse flaking and peeling my black dress was a mess so here's pre-meet photos.

Carlisle is a very rich man which means he will spoil you a lot. Not only with expensive gifts but also with a lot of attention and affection.

Every time when he gets home from work, he welcomes you with a kiss and warm hug.

When he has a day off, he will cook with you (even tho he cannot eat it, it's just about the time he can spend with you) or you will lay on his lap with his hand stroking your hair and book in his other hand, reading to you.

Every Friday he will take you to a fancy restaurant and than for a slow walk around the nearest park.

On your birthday or on International Women's Day (or any other 'special' day) he will spoil you even more than on normal days. Expensive jewelry, perfumes, clothes, shoes,...

Edward waited so many years for you, but it was worth it because he finally got you.

He loves when you kiss his forehead even tho he has to lean down because of your height difference, it makes him feel safe. Still his favourite place to kiss you is on your lips.

Edward will write poets for you and about you on small piece of paper and then put them somewhere in your room where you will notice them like your closet or on your book, laptop, notebook, pillow,...and he will bring you your favorite flowers right after the previous ones he gave you have withered.

He will also write songs about you (or for you) and then play them to you on the piano. Which he absolutely loves because you sit right next to him and look at him with those beautiful eyes of yours full of love. Edward cannot read your mind but he can sure read your eyes, the small spark and the love in them when you look at him, he just loves it!

Loves cuddling with you, his favourite position is when you lay on his chest or when he's the big spoon, face to face or hugging you from behind.

He loves having deep talks with you and he'll tell you about his childhood or about the time he was born in.

Jasper can be sometimes insecure just as much as Edward, they even have similar reasons... Jasper is afraid of him hurting you, he's afraid that he won't be able to control himself around you, but your words of affirmation and gently touch will calm him down.

Jasper doesn't talk much, he rather listens and he loves listens to you. It doesn't matter what you are talking about, he just loves your voice.

She tried hard to stay away from you but she failed, miserably. She needed you, she needed to be with you, so she will explain everything to you same as she would apologize for her acting.

Very protective of you, anyone could just try and test her patience.

At first she wouldn't want you to be near her while she was in her wolf form because she was much bigger and stronger so she was afraid that she could hurt you, but she became a sucker for scratches behind her ear.

Seth will often tease his big sister because she's really soft when it comes to you, which makes Leah give Seth few playful slaps.

When it comes to cuddling, Leah is the big spoon because she has the urge to protect you and being the big spoon makes her feel like she's protecting you in you sleep.

She find our that you touch calms her anxiety and nervousness so whenever she's nervous or anxious she will just hold your hand and squeeze it gently.

Today was International Lolita Day (Summer)!! It’s the first time in over 10 years that I’ve 1) been able to dress up for ILD (I didn’t forget and I wasn’t working), and 2) went to an IN PERSON meetup!!! It took a little scheduling and I had to drive to get there but it was fun to be around other folks!

Dress is French Cafe Chest Ribbon jsk; dress, headbow and socks are angelic pretty, purse is btssb, and the teacup necklace is a gift from @kayliemalinza (I love it!!!)

You were offered an exclusive opportunity to study abroad your final year of university with one of the most elite universities in Japan and intern with a prestigious media company in the heart of Osaka. You found that this was the perfect time to branch off from your family and lay down your roots somewhere besides your small town where everyone knows everyone.  You had saved up money every summer planning for an opportunity like this, finally you could live the life you had always wanted, pursuing your dreams and living life to the fullest.

Without a second glance, you packed your bags and headed to Japan ready to begin the adventure of a lifetime, or so you thought. Your move was very smooth to say the least; you were settling in nicely into your new studio apartment and had managed to make friends with several other students who attended the university and we’re pursuing your same major.

Since everyone in the friend group was alternative to some extent, including yourself, you all took it upon yourselves to explore the local alternative scene by going to goth clubs, attending local metal and rock shows, and meeting other people in the scene. This of course was when you all weren’t studying for exams, or meeting deadlines for your internships. 

Every dimly lit club your friend group managed to find themselves in on the weekends had one thing in common, the gorgeous stranger with the offputting aura who’s eyes never seemed to loose yours. There was something there, something dangerous, and you didn’t know if you had the courage to explore it, no matter how much alcohol your friends forced down your throat. One second you both were having the most intense trance-like staring contest, then the next they were gone with the blink of an eye. Strange. Intriguing. Dangerous. 

If curiosity hadn’t killed the cat, the cat would’ve never satiated its need to know. Know whether they were alive or dead. God, when the gorgeous strangers' eyes met yours one fateful night at your favorite goth club Yoru No Kage you knew that their gaze was simply one worth dying for. After your trance was broken, they were once again gone. Without any trace. You knew you had to find this ethereal being, even if it meant losing yourself to this growing infatuation with a stranger.

After hours of extensive research and digging, gathering any bit of information you could on them, you came to know several things. One, their name was Mana although they preferred the seniority title Sama being added when addressed in any context. Two, no one knew how old they were, no one asked and no one knew; simple as that. Three, they played guitar in several bands in the local Visual-Kei scene hence the Gothic Lolita appearance, but the one that stuck out the most was their founding project Malice Mizer.

Your friends had played some of their stuff for you before and the name was familiar, you remembered that every time you listened you were enamored by their catchy riffs and powerful vocals. Fourth, no one really knew Mana Sama on a personal level, nor did they know how he arrived there. One day he randomly showed up and had been there ever since. What an intriguing individual indeed.

You did manage to talk to one person at a bar who had quite a lot to say about Mana Sama, though their credibility was tarnished in the scene due to a falling out with Malice Mizer. Tetsu his name was. He was an ex-vocalist for them and some say he was driven crazy by the heartbreak of his band kicking him out even though they had every reason to when it was exposed that he was stealing lyrics from bands smaller than them.

He claimed that they were all wolves in sheep's clothing, especially Mana Sama. One thing Tetsu said about Mana happened to stick with you though was his ability to lure anyone to their demise with just a look. “Beware the leeching creature of the night who lives in darkness plotting for the next glimpse of sunlight to steal selfishly for themselves, draining life from the very source.” Yikes, maybe you should stay away from people you’ve been warned about.  Friday night rolls around like clock-work, and you and your friends are yet again enjoying a weekend of fun and relaxation after another week of stressful midterms and grueling internships.

It seems that recently Mana Sama has been popping up everywhere. The media company you’re currently interning at is set to shoot the latest Malice Mizer promotion for their latest album, and somehow you’ve been appointed Creative Director of the entire thing. This means you’ll be working closely alongside the band to bring their vision of the album alive. On top of that, there was a huge V-Kei showcase happening at Yoru No Kage where one of the bands performing was Malice Mizer themselves.

This exclusive showcase was invite only and how convenient was it that one day when you got home from school there was a perfectly and elegantly wrapped black invitation to the event with your name on it. You weren't one to turn down a party, especially when someone deliberately went out of their way to invite you. When the night came to attend, you put on your sexiest attire, did your makeup better than you ever had done in your life, and you made your way to the club to have the night of your life.

The bands performing throughout the night would be Dir En Grey, Buck-Tick, Plastic Tree, X Japan, Luna Sea, L’Arc-en-Ciel, Sito Magus, and then finally Malice Mizer as a guest appearance. You watched the entirety of the show yet malice hadn't gone on yet. You were even approached by several of the different bands’ members asking for your number and to take you out on dates, you declined of course. A certain pair of golden siren eyes lingered making sure that you knew who you belonged to. You looked good, you felt even better with all the attention you were getting, but you only wanted one persons. Mana Sama's.

You prayed and hoped that tonight would be the night Mana would make themselves known to you. You wanted so badly to properly meet them and hear their voice, feel their touch, your head was spinning with thoughts of Mana. Were your feelings reciprocated? Did they feel the same thing you felt when your eyes met? Did they think of you at night too when the loneliness got to be too much for a person to handle?

Every thought had been consumed by Mana and you really hope they experienced the same as well. The lights dim, the room going dark until a single blue light shone on a beautiful lolita guitarist with golden eyes. Malice Mizer had just began their set with their latest song “Aegen” and a beautifully haunting melody flooded the room around you. Mana’s eyes were on you and they watched you through the entirety of their performance.

After their set you decided to sit at the bar and have a couple of drinks before turning in for the night. The best part was that after this you could go home and sleep all day tomorrow if you wanted. Your thoughts were quickly interrupted as a certain guitarist slid into the seat next to yours.

“heard you’ve been asking about me” they leaned over and whispered quietly into your ear sending goosebumps racing down your spine. Being aware of the fact that they’ve noticed your growing interest in them you’re quick to spew a nonchalant rebuttal.

“took you longer than expected to notice honestly” you shrug playing it off cool even thought you were a mess of nerves on the inside.

“is that so? what did you expect from me then darling?” they muttered with their blue lips curling into a mischievous smile, almost as if hyperaware of the facade you were trying to hard toupee around them.

“I expected you to make the first move” you trail off, seductively leaning closer and finding your way to their neck to whisper in their ear “word around town is that you make yourself known when you find something you want”

“You’ve done quite a bit of extensive research darling” they look at you with a glint of playfulness in their dolly eyes, almost like they were taunting you to partake in a danse macabre, a dance of death. You pull away from them to compose yourself before continuing.

“Indeed I have, so tell me Mana Sama” turning to look them directly in their eyes challenging them “Am I something you want?” Mana’s mask slips for just a second before continuing.

“If I told you I not only wanted you, but I wanted to devour your entire existence in the most romantic form of cannibalism imaginable, how likely are you to think that I don’t?” Mana takes a strand of your stray locks to push them behind your ear as you flush blood red under your makeup. How does someone even recover from something like that?

“Your gaze lingers longer than necessary and you look like you want to eat my heart out every time I walk into a room” you allow a slight giggle to slip past your delicate lips and try to find a glimpse of ulterior motives in the gorgeous guitar players eyes, unsuccessfully finding none. “I just needed to hear you say it to confirm to myself that it wasn’t a sick delusion I’ve created in my head out of loneliness. If we both feel the same way where do we go from here?”

“where do you want to go from here? I have no intention of letting you go yet, for I have just managed to grasp your heart. what happens next is up to you” Mana brings their hand to their lips to lands a kiss on your knuckles before leaving butterfly kisses on the rest of your hands. “i’m content with just keeping you for and hiding you from the rest of the world but only if you ask me to do so. the future is in your hands darling” kissing up your hands to your arm.

“I want to be yours, and I want you to be mine. Simple as that, we figure out the rest as we go. Is that okay with you? I want to know what it feels like to be loved by you” you search for a hint of uncomfortable energy in Mana’s current demeanor and Mana lifts their hand to cup your cheek.

“It shall be done. I wouldn’t have it any other way darling. That sounds like a plan and a perfect one at that.” leaving a soft kiss on your knuckles. Mana’s golden eyes although softened still screamed danger. Who knew what the future had in store for you both together, only time would tell. Mana leans into you before placing a kiss on your lips, which you quickly reciprocate.

As the kiss intensifies and your bruising kiss turns into teeth clashing session of passion and yearning, mana begins to leave a trail of kisses down your neck, not caring who’s looking at you two. Mana hovers over your jugular before leaving an aggressive kiss, followed by an oddly painful love bite, WERE THOSE FANGS?!??

I hope you enjoyed this fic, I decided to take a more modern approach than nosferatu since I’m still new to writing and would rather give you quality since I knew I’d mess up anything with a historical element! I know I turned it into a whole work instead of a simple imagine but I was very excited for this request and wanted to give it a shot of turning it into a full work with room for a sequel. International Lolita Day Picnic --------------------------------------------------------------

Some late photos from my second meet which was at a conservatory. I should have taken more photos of the interior but it was 80+ degrees in there and I wasn’t going to drag it on longer than it needed to be. Surprisingly, you’re allowed to gently touch the plants. Afterwards, our picnic was outside where the temperature was much more lovely. Chim Chim also came along for the ride in her Saturday best. I wore my cotton Totoro dress since I only have two good summer dresses and I’m saving my sailor dress for a beach meet next month.

Today my comm hosted our summer International Lolita Day a bit early with a swap meet! Originally planned to be outside, the rain forced us all in when a very kind comm member opened her home to us ♡. Moments like these are the few times where I want a house. I would love to have an actual garden and a space to paint and decorate as I see fit, to host meets and such!

The meet itself was wonderful, it pulled out members who haven't been active since before the lock downs, new members, and friends who I haven't seen in a while. This year has been both very fast and very trying for many of us, so a chance for us all to get together and catch up is golden.

I ended up getting a pink headdress, pink headbow, and a white short sleeve blouse.

Seeing tables and furniture covered edge to edge with so many EGL pieces reminded me of some of the spreads I'd seen in Gothic Lolita Bibles, aesthetically a wonderful experience, and emotionally one that fills the heart and solidifies my love for the fashion and the community itself.

This meet marked the end of a 3 week stretch where there was a meet every weekend. With this coming weekend free, the following weeks are quickly filling up as well.

Today is winter International Lolita Day Winter ILD is rarely celebrated in Montreal because it's always cold and often snowy/slushy, but I am actually doing a small thing tomorrow. Summer ILD (in June) is quite big in Montreal, though! It's the opposite for Tokyo, since December is mild and June is already too hot and humid (often rainy too). Well, corona cancelled ILD for a while, but I think meets are back now that I am gone. I know this is the same skirt as the one used in my last outfit, but it was the only lolita outfit I had edited in my pile of recent pictures. Anyway, I only have two lolita skirts and two lolita dresses with me right now. I am trying to experiment with indoor self-timed pictures, and it's been a bit hard since it's so much darker here than in my last apartment. Sorry for the grains! “Dad, we’re here!” Jacob cried out, opening the front door to his familiar family home. 

Jacob Barber had just finished his Junior year at Columbia University and had just finished packing up his things in his apartment before driving back home. His parents had just finalized their divorce over the Christmas Break, and frankly, Jacob was relieved. His father, Andy Barber, seemed to be doing great, much happier without Laurie in his life. Maybe that was why he had agreed to let Jacob and his roommates from Columbia stay in their home for the entire summer leading up to their final year of undergrad.

“I’ll be right down, just changing a lightbulb in the bathroom.” Andy called out from upstairs, finishing his work quickly and disposing of the broken bulb in the bathroom trash can. He took his time down the stairs, smiling widely as he saw Jacob and his friends standing in the kitchen. “Good to have you home, son.” Andy announced, embracing Jacob in a warm embrace. He wasn’t lying at all, yes, he was fine after the divorce, but he did miss having his son at home playing video games or listening to his music too loud. Once Andy let go, he eyed the two other boys behind him, patting Jacob on his shoulder. 

“You boys must be Jacob’s roommates, right?” He questioned. 

“Yes, sorry dad, this is Rashad and Collin.” Jacob motioned to each of them, watching as his father shook each of their hands. “It’s nice to meet you all, and please, call me Andy. Only my clients call me Mr. Barber.” Andy took a step back, reaching into the fridge to grab a few Coors Light bottles, handing one to each of the boys before turning his attention back to Jacob.

“I thought you said there was another roommate coming, right? The one who you begged me to let intern at my office during the summer?” Andy asked, raising an eyebrow at his son.

Jacob took a swig off his beer bottle, nodding his head. “Yeah, y/n said she’d be here soon, she was just finishing up with a friend for brunch and then she was heading over.” Jacob, Rashad, Collin, and Y/N had been roommates this year in a quaint little apartment about five minutes from Columbia’s main campus. Andy had been to the apartment once to meet up with Jacob for dinner in the Fall during one of his many fights with Laurie, though Jacob’s roommates had all been out that day.

“Alright, well why don’t you boys make yourselves at home, take your pick of any of the guest rooms upstairs and let me know if you need anything. I was thinking of firing up the grill, it’s such a beautiful day out and the swimming pool contractors just finished with the new pool out back.” Andy opens the doors of the fridge again, pulling out the hamburger meat as the three men race up the stairs to look at the rooms they’d be occupying for the next few months. “Sure dad, thanks!” Jacob calls back, giving his father a short wave of his hand.

About an hour later the boys had all settled into the Barber’s backyard, speakers against the home blaring the hottest songs of the summer. Andy and the boys stood around the grill, exchanging stories of their latest semester and giving Andy a chance to get to know Rashad and Collin better. He was quite impressed with the type of people Jacob had chosen to associate himself with. Rashad was an engineering major like Jacob while Collin was studying chemistry.

After the boys finished laughing about Collin and Jacob’s double date gone terribly wrong, Jacob’s phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out, glancing at the screen with a smile. “Y/N’s pulling in, I’m going to go help her with her bags.” The other boys stayed next to Andy, watching as he flipped the last set of burgers on the grill.

“She’s gotta look heavenly in a bikini, right bro?” Rashad asks Collin, nudging him playfully in the side.

“You got a thing for y/n? Because I don’t think it’d be too appropriate to get with someone you are living the entire summer with, especially under my roof.” Andy objected, removing the burgers off the grill and onto the plate beside him.

Both Rashad and Collin burst out laughing, taking swigs from their beer bottles as they do. “Nah, Andy. Y/N’s a smoke show don’t get me wrong, but we can look but don’t touch. She’s not a relationship type of woman anyhow.” Rashad teased.

Just as the two boys finished their snickering, Jacob opens the screen door, the two immediately jogging up to give y/n a hug. 

“What, you boys miss me that much after being apart for only a day?” She teased, Collin finally releasing her from his death grip. Jacob pulls y/n out into the yard, stopping right in front of the grill where Andy was turning off the burners.

“Dad, this is y/n.” He gestures towards the woman beside him just as y/n sticks out a hand for Andy to shake.

“It’s nice to finally meet you, Mr. Barber, I’ve heard so much about you.” Andy finally turns his head in the direction of her voice, his eyes locking on hers as his heart skips a beat in his chest.

“It’s nice to meet you too, and please, call me Andy.” He reaches forward to shake her hand, taking in the whole sight of her. Her hair hung in loosely tousled waves down her back, stopping just above her breasts that were jutting out of her black lace bodysuit, which clung tightly to her hourglass figure and was tucked into her jean shorts that barely seemed to cover her ass. Her lips were plump and juicy, the color of a glass of fruit punch, a dotting of light freckles across her cheeks. Her eyes were striking, she wore no mascara, yet her lashes were thick and long. She was breathtakingly beautiful, a ‘smoke show’ as Rashad had said, indeed. 

Y/N watched how Andy’s eyes engulfed her body, tilting her head to one side as she pretended not to notice. “Well Andy, thank you again for letting us all stay with you this summer, and thank you for the internship. I would rather work a paid internship than work with these boys anywhere.” She teased, ruffling Jacob’s hair.

“It’s no trouble at all, our office could use a good intern for the summer.” He agreed, eyes lingering a little too long on her perky breasts again.

“Maybe we can carpool to work, I’m all about environmentalism.” Her words are flirtatiously drifting off her tongue, a seductive smile spreading across her lips. Was Andy imagining this?

“R-right, yeah sounds good.” He moves to grab the plate of burgers by the grill, gesturing to the house. “Boys, please bring out the salad, condiments, and tableware from the counter and come set the table. Oh, and get y/n a beer.”

Andy moves to the patio table and sets down the plate of burgers, watching y/n as she slowly sinks into the chair next to him. He catches a whiff of her perfume, a heavenly mix of oranges, vanilla, and sandalwood wafting through his nostrils. It’s the perfect scent for her, he thought, moving to sit at the far end of the table.

The boys come back with all the supplies for dinner, including y/n’s beer, which she is already nursing happily from. Andy’s eyes focus on how her lips wrap around the top of the glass bottle, clearing his throat as if to rid himself of his dirty thoughts.

“So, y/n, what made you want to intern in my office?” He questioned, assembling a burger onto his plate. Y/N tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, carefully putting a helping of salad onto her own plate before assembling the rest of her meal.

“I’m completing my undergraduate degree and then hopefully getting admitted to law school to become an attorney. I figured interning in a real office would be a great first step.” She stuck her fork into the salad, opening her mouth to take in the bite.

“So, what are you getting your undergrad in?” 

“My major is human rights with a minor in economics.” Her eyes met Jacob’s, a smile spreading on her face. “That’s how I actually found out Jake-y here was looking for another roommate. We had microeconomics together. Then I got introduced to these two losers-“ She teased, motioning to the other two guys at the table who feigned hurt expressions. “-and the rest is history.” The boys next to her were all chowing down as usual as if they hadn’t been fed in days.

As they take the time to finish eating, y/n lets the boys do most of the talking. She’s not a huge sharer when she first meets people, and frankly she’s glad to have the guys around to keep her entertained all summer. The dinner is spent catching way-too-long glances from Andy, his eyes lingering on hers for a bit too long here and there. There’s something about him that intrigues her, maybe it’s because he’s not a boy but a man, or maybe it’s just her usual game of cat and mouse, men usually fell to putty at her feet and she assumed he’d be the same.

“That was great dad, thank you.” Jacob says, finishing his third burger of the night. “Anyone up for a late-night swim?” He asked, standing up from the table and picking up a few of the items from it to take them inside. Rashad and Collin follow suit, with y/n trailing behind.
