Oh, sure Yuji, but Megumi also does this sometimes when he felt more comfortable with the relationship. I imagine Yuji giving sweet, innocent kisses to the tip of Megumi's nose when he makes a frown (which he immediately gets rid of, because this boy is weak to Yuji's nonsense 🙈🙈)

Megs wins this one for sure. Do you remember the way he looked at Osawa? He knows how cool, kind and amazing his boyfriend is, so he would keep closer to Yuji, keeping sharp eyes on anyone who tries to get close. Always attentive and keeping an eye on Yuji. But I also think that Yuji has a little possessiveness towards Megs, especially post-canon. After more than a month apart, it's no wonder he wants to stay attached to Megumi's hip lol.

- Pick up each other at the bar when they're too drunk to drive

They are both minors, so there is no such thing. But when they get older (AND THEY WILL GET TO OLD AGE!!!!), Megumi is much more responsible and less likely to get drunk. Yuji, on the other hand, is an affectionate and cheeky drunk. He would definitely tease Megumi all the time, trying to induce him to relax, while Megs remains sober and smiles fondly at his boyfriend's nonsense.

- Take care on sick days

Yuji, definitely. Megumi strikes me as the type of person who wouldn't admit to being sick until he's unable to get out of bed, so it's up to Yuji to take care of his boyfriend during these times. He is affectionate (and even a little overprotective). He wraps Megumi in warm blankets, makes soup, massages the painful parts, and lies with him until Megumi feels better. Megs says that Yuji will also get the disease, but YUJI comforts him and stays close (and if the next day he also woke up sick, YUJI won't complain about being taken care of by his boyfriend ❤️)

- Drag the other person into the water on a day at the beach

Yuji lmao. I can even imagine the scene. A beach in Okinawa. Megumi photographing Yuji and the sunset. Yuji approaches, takes the camera from Megs' hand before picking him up and running towards the beach. Megumin screaming to be put down, squeezing Yuji's neck to keep himself steady (although he knows Yuji wouldn't put him down). The two heading into the sea, laughing and splashing each other in the water before sharing a sweet kiss and then turning to watch the sunset while still holding each other. Wishaiaksiahai this looks perfect! 🥹🥹🥹

- Gives spontaneous massages

Hmm, I think Megumi would be that type. He would see Yuji's tense shoulders (too much post-mission adrenaline or stress because of Sukuna) and start massaging his shoulders to calm the nerves. But I also imagine that Yuji likes to massage Megumi's feet while he works on his cell phone and Megumi reads (he sometimes puts his hand on Megs' calves, which earns him a kick in the chest lol)

- Drives/rides shotgun

Megumi got her driver's license before Yuji, so he's the one driving the car while Yuji talks the whole way, checks the map on trips, and takes care of the radio. On the other hand, it is YUJI who drives the motorcycle, sometimes taking it to take Megumi on a date to the ice cream shop in the middle of the night. The two enjoy these freer outings after spending so much time confined to the lives of wizards.

- Bring another lunch to work

Megumi is the one who does this, because YUJI constantly forgets about food in his rush to leave. Megs doesn't mind since he has an excuse to see YUJI, lol. The two have lunch together at these times, sharing food and hugs. They're so sticky it makes me roll my eyes.

- Has a better parental relationship

Yuji. Choso accepted Megumi very well, at first because Yuji's determination to save him and chapter 143 convinced him that their relationship was mutual and true. He may not know much about human relationships, but even for a half-curse the bright, loving eyes Itafushi exchanges with each other is clear. (Miki would love YUJI too and Gojo already considers him a perfect son-in-law, but we know what happened in canon 👀)

- Try to start role-playing in bed

(The bad side of not knowing some expressions in English is that I end up in situations like searching for role-playing in bed on Google 🙈🙈🙈) Yuji. I won't elaborate further. Let's just say he has a lot of stamina and creativity.

- Embarrassingly drunk dancer

Yuji is a terrible dancer and his lack of discretion evaporates when he injects alcohol. Not only will he dance like crazy, he will pull Megumi to dance with him. Hands on hips, spicy jokes and slow speech. As if he wouldn't then fall on Megumi's shoulder the whole way back LMAO.

- Still cries watching Titanic

This film is prohibited in their cinema session. It doesn't bring back good memories for Megumi. You know, being submerged at the bottom of the sea... 😿

- Strongly believes in couple fantasies

Yuji is an idiot and he will drag Megumi into his idiocy because yes (and because he would sell a kidney to see Megumi in a bunny costume 👀), so at Halloween they combine costumes with references to films that only Yuji knows. Once, according to the meme, Yuji and Megumi dressed up as Satosugu, which offended Satoru. ("Suguru, tell that punk Megumi to stop pitching him voice and say it's me. It's annoying" "you're annoying, Satoru")

- Break the rule of expensive gifts during Christmas

Megumi really likes to spoil Yuji (and he doesn't have a very clear idea of prices after being spoiled since he was a child by Gojo and his expensive jackets lol), so he always buys something expensive but that he knows Yuji will like.

- Make the other person eat breakfast

Yuji usually makes breakfast for them, both because Megumi doesn't think straight when he wakes up, and because he likes to cook different things. And Megumi will always eat a full meal before the two leave.

- Remembers birthdays

Megumi has a good memory, so he remembers several important dates (even those that Yuji makes up like "the first day we kissed" ((which was December 24th, what a coincidence 👀)))

- Brings up having children

It was Megumi who brought the matter up when he observed Yuji dealing with a child. The way he seemed so patient and gentle with the little one made a feeling rise in Megs' chest. He had never thought about being a father (until he always believed he would die before he was 30), but seeing YUJI there made the desire come alive. yuji was more than happy with this notice

it does not come as a surprise that my most favorite character in jjk is.. megumi fushiguro. fun fact: when i first read jjk, the one that got my attention was actually sukuna but the second time i read it, this guy really captivated me with all of his qualities. so for 4 consecutive years in the jjk fandom and outside, my number one spot of anime man hasn’t been replaced, it has always been him (i am devoted for the rest of my life, quite literally). i even got a plushie of him, 2 figurines, 2 keychains, 2/3 manga version of him as the cover (in diff languages). yeah.. that’s my obsession i think.. (i got a thing for emo ass family/sibling issues and anger issues typa character) ((read: aki from csm, sasuke from naruto, rin from bllk, etc))

my second spot is definitely itadori yuuji! our mc and ball of sunshine <3 he’s just too adorable and well, i really love his character development over the manga. third spot goes to suguru geto. i didn’t really pay attention to him before i started writing him in this jjk blog. i just enjoy depicting his character then boom i’ve been into him since, so not much of a background story besides he’s hella boyfriend and hella beautiful. my honorable mention is zenin maki! the way i went nuts when i saw the leaks of her post-shibuya with her hair and scars.. aah she’s SO badass

now.. for the LEAST fav character.. i think i don’t have one? i don’t hold grudges towards the character for what they’ve done in the plot because everyone has a reason and their place yk. kenjaku? not really. toji? he’s not as a deadbeat father as the fandom makes him. mahito? nah they’re just a goofy character that gets on the nerves but i never feel any kind of despise towards them. so, in conclusion, i don’t have a least favorite character lmao

I just felt like writing a DA inspired piece and who to write for but my current obsession? Also, y’all cannot convince me that the plot for JJK isn’t Dark Academia at its core. Boarding school? Where knowledge is well and truly alive among the students?? And someone (lots of someones lmao) get murdered??? Fuck yes.

The scroll under your fingertips is rough and dusty, each small movement sending particles into the air and making you cough. The air is stuffy, your breath coming out in short gasps. You’re glad that you brought a flashlight instead of a candle, but even with the threat of running out of battery power, you wouldn’t dare bring a fire anywhere near here.

Bringing a candle to a library was an idea in itself just begging to stab you in the back. But an underground library? It would most likely lose oxygen before you did, and though the writings would be saved, it would do little to help you read their writings.

You breathe in, your throat scratching as you inhale dust and mold, but as you take a well-needed swig of water, you tell yourself this was a necessary sacrifice. It was necessary. You knew it, felt the truth burn in your bones like a raging fire of its own, ignited by the cold injustice of being forced to remain ignorant.

If those high and mighty Jujutsu Sorcerers would rather let their fear that you’d go against them rule over than prioritize teaching you how to properly use your cursed energy, then you’d teach yourself. No matter what it took. They took you in to train you, but they couldn’t even do it properly.

I won’t be useless anymore, you let out a small cough before taking another swig, eyes glued to the scroll sprawled over your lap. I know I can be useful for them, too. Gojo-sensei, Fushiguro, Kugisaki, and Ita-

“I thought it was stupid that I heard a mouse cough,” your hand stills, the room cold. “Turns out it wasn’t a mouse, but I wasn’t too far off.”

Trying to calm your thundering heart, you raise your head and your light up to the doorway.

Red is what catches your eyes. Was it the red of Itadori’s shoes and hood? The blood that glistened over his uniform when the light hits his body? Or Sukuna’s red eyes, looking down at you? Maybe it was all at once, his presence overwhelming. Or maybe it was the fact he was standing at your only means of escape, and now all that you can see is red.

“I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to be walking around in the open,” you lower the flashlight to the floor. Even with the light down, his eyes glow, and the conscious feeling of them staring at you does little to ease your nerves. You gesture to him with a fleeting glance. “Especially when you’re covered in… someone. Speaking of which, should I be concerned?”

Sukuna’s eyes seem to glow brighter, the corners of this lips rising ever so slightly before he waves away your question. You don’t push it, not when you’re not sure whether it’s your blood that covers him next.

“I’m sure you’re not supposed to be down here, either. I can still sense the remaining cursed energy in the air. They probably used a strong and ancient technique to keep this sealed up.” he leans on the doorway, blocking the exit more than you thought possible. You don’t miss the way he smirks just as your eye twitches. “How’d you do it?”

“Ancient, yes. Strong? Not really. It was simple enough once you understood how it worked,” you go back to your scroll. It took you months to tear the seal down, but you weren’t about to tell him that. “It was probably worn away by time, too.”

“Ha! You’re not wrong about that,” there’s something in his laugh you couldn’t put a finger on. Mocking, maybe, but it’s not quite aimed at you. “But still. Not bad, little mouse. You actually got a one up on them.”

The rush of pride that goes through you makes you flush, and you pray that he doesn’t see it in your face. “Thank you.”

He hums in approval before taking a step into the room, hands stuffed into his pockets.

You try to go back to your reading, hoping you can pretend he wasn’t there, and he’d pretend he never saw you. Now that you thought about it, what was he doing down here anyway? You have half a mind to ask him why he was here, but you keep your lips pursed. Sukuna did whatever he wanted, that wasn’t exactly new knowledge.

That doesn’t mean it doesn’t spark curiosity, though. You glance up at him as he looks around, taking in the shelves of scrolls and tomes. You frown when he stands right in front of you, leaning on a bookshelf to see what you were reading.

“I think you should clean up a bit.”

Sukuna blinks owlishly, thinking he imagined you speak up. But you glance up and down his bloodied clothes and the smirk is back on his face. “Worried I’ll get caught?”

“No, you’re in a library. And if you lean any more on the shelves, you’ll get blood all over them,” you shuffle away softly, holding the scroll out of his area with a frown and a grumble. “If whoever you killed was worth getting murdered, then I’d think their blood isn’t worth being imprinted on these scrolls, either.”

He scoffs, but he stands up straight. “Fair, but I wouldn’t be so worried if I were you. Nothing in here is worth spending time on.”

For a second, you forget who you’re talking to, and you look up from your readings to stare at him incredulously. He just looks down at you blankly, like he stated an obvious fact, and you feel like you just got the wind knocked out of you.

You’ve heard some higher-ups say before that teaching you was “a waste of time”, a phrase that cut deep more than you’d care to admit. But as you look down at the scroll in your hands, a volume explaining how humans were able to manifest cursed energy in the first place, you’re left dumbfounded.

“You’re telling me,” you start slowly, trying to gather your thoughts more than your anger. “Centuries worth of knowledge isn’t worth my time? I don’t know how to tell you this without sounding pathetic, but this is literally all I have left if I want to get better.”

“Dumbass, I’m telling you that whatever is in here isn’t worth the time,” he rolls his eyes, and when he pulls out a hand, flames dance around his fingers. The yell of warning is lodged in your throat as he raises his hand to the scrolls overhead, but instead of burning them, Sukuna seems to be reading their titles. His face is pulled back in distaste, completely unimpressed. “You think these petty fools too busy with their clan wars and traditions would willingly share their knowledge with everyone?”

“Well, they’re not open to everyone, I mean,” you gesture wildly to your surroundings as best you can without knocking over anything. “It’s a hidden library beneath the school. And it’s not like I can get all this info anywhere else.”

“Maybe you just didn’t try looking hard enough,” Sukuna clenches his fist and the flame goes out. He turns around and heads to the doorway. “Come on, then, I’ll teach you myself. There’s still a couple of hours before sunrise and the brat wakes up.”

“What? Are you… serious?” You blink. “Just like that?”

Sukuna merely shrugs. When he glances over his shoulder at you, red eyes glowing with a power you could never fathom, you’re reminded that this wasn’t Itadori, or any of your classmates. As a curse, he was still the only one of his kind. Even when he stood out so much in this room alone, it was the closest to where he really belonged, just as old if not older than the stories you’ve read in these four walls. You almost take him up on his offer, but then you barely hold yourself back.

“What’s the catch?” you frown, but you know you’ve already lost when you set the scroll aside and stand up. You’re not sure if he knows it, too, when you see him grin.

“Catch?” he barks out another laugh. “You’re worried about some catch, but not getting caught sneaking into a sealed, underground library?”

“Getting caught sneaking in doesn’t necessarily mean getting cursed,” you don’t know where this newfound confidence was coming from. You can barely remember that you’re talking to a curse infamous for being unpredictable, still drenched in his latest kill. But it’s too late to go back now; if anything, trying to go back might get you actually murdered. “I don’t think that sentence holds true if I come with you.”

“I wouldn’t be surprised if they did put a curse on that seal. They seem like the sort of humans to do that,” he turns half his body to face you and you’re surprised when he holds out a hand. “Live a little, why don’t you? I’m offering you a once in a lifetime chance, little mouse.”

“You still haven’t answered me,” you glance at his outstretched hand, feeling your own twitch at your side. “What’s in it for you?”

“Let’s say you’re more interesting than I thought prior - able to open ancient seals, breaking into a sacred library to teach yourself Jujutsu, among other things. If you come with me,” you would have blushed at his remarks, but suddenly he’s too close. You’re barely aware when you drop your flashlight from shock, the scent of death invading your senses so abruptly. He’s so close you can trace the black markings on his face if you reached up ever so slightly. “I won’t get bored for a while. So do make this interesting for me, won’t you?”

His hand is held out to you again. You take in his appearance one more time - eyes trained on you, blood glistening where the light hits him, red, all red - and you reach for his hand.

Part 1: The Compatibility between Pisces and Capricorn

Hello everyone! Today, since I am hella bored and have nothing to do this fine evening, I am going to talk about the relationship between our two boys; Yuji and Megumi and how much they represent their signs so much.

Before I get started, I am not going to talk about their sex life even though it’s kinda important if you are into astrology, however, for this case I won’t because both of them are minors. But if you want to read more about their comparability then be my guess and look at the underline links. I will provide links in the discussion so you can have a better understanding on how the signs are and use manga pages for you to visually see it.

Also, excuse my English. I am very bad at it! Even though it’s my first language I still have lots of errors in my writing!

Let’s get started on this very long essay!

Traits of a Pisces: Itadori Yuji

Positive: Compassionate (top), empathetic (middle), & creative (bottom)

We also have: Warm/gentle, caring, intellectual, animal lover, and romantic

Here we have the positive side of a Pisces and let me tell you it screams Yuji so damn much. Yuji is such a compassionate guy. I don’t think I have never seen a character who is very compassionate like Yuji (I have but we are talking about Yuji here lol). He can empathize with a whole lot of people and no matter what the situation is he understands. Yuji doesn’t need to have the same experience as someone because he can feel and get in their head to make him understand what their going through. Which brings me to that he has a really high empathy level when it comes to people (I can relate a lot because I have the same thing). However, having a lot of empathy isn’t all that’s cracked up to be but I’ll talk about it soon.

A Pisces is also very creative and they love hobbies. One of Yuji’s favorite hobbies is, I have a feeling is sports but that just based on what his old school thought of him + the baseball game. Plus cooking! Cooking is an amazing hobby and it lets you get creative with your hands and skills! I like to imagine that he is the best cook throughout the school and loves to share with his classmates and have them rate his cooking lol! Cooking is also a relief of stress so I can also imagine him having a bad day and just ends up being in the kitchen.

We also have: melancholy, lazy, stubborn, moodiness, etc

Yuji is a very emotional person. We have seen him at his best and at his worse. He is such an emotional person that he felt bad for killing Choso’s brothers. His emotions gets the best of him when Junpei died, Megumi was hurt, seeing what Sukuna has done in Shibuya, and Nanamin/Nobara getting destroyed by Mahito. It’s an unhealthy feeling because we’ve seen Yuji get distracted with his injured friends and him kinda fucking up on his fighting. Another unhealthy trait that Yuji had is not talking about himself. We’ve seen him not talk about his feelings and I mean personal deep feelings that’s always going to be in the back of his head. Like when Megumi knows that something happened to Yuji but Yuji simple doesn’t want to talk about and closes it. He doesn’t really like talking about himself and rather hear other people/helping other people rather than face his own demons. If he’s facing his own demons, he rather be doing it on his own.

I also want to point out that many people think that he gets over people’s death hella easily. No... that is not true whatsoever. The boy has been through so much trauma that eventually you just get so tired of crying about it and you don’t have the energy anymore, you eventually start telling yourself “it is what it is” or “what can I do now?”. Noabra is a perfect example. He didn’t need to cry because he had the biggest mental breakdown when it happened. So when he asked Megumi about her status... he just had to say “alright”.

In my theories... she is definitely alive. Again, Gege is playing half of you guys. She is gonna pop out in the next couple of chapters or even the one coming up next.

Another things that I find interesting in Yuji which according to the links I put, Pisces tend to trust people easily:

Ease of being cheated: A desire to see the best things in other people makes the Two Fish very impressionable individuals. They trust others without any suspicions and often suffer from their frivolity. Any pressure of stronger people is accepted as a command for them and they easily agree with them without any doubts.

For instant, Todo and Choso. Those two mf were about to kill him but they didn’t because of what Yuji’s mind fuck did (I know Gege sensei said that isn’t a theory but still it’s mind fuck lol) He instantly call Todo his best friend like I can hear Nobara (Big sis) twitching somewhere lol. Whenever I think of Yuji and Todo’s relationship, I think of Vinny and Paula D from Jersey Shore haha!

Any who, while trusting people isn’t a bad thing, you still don’t know what their intentions are and everything. It’s a very naive thing to do.

But I felt for Yuji and Choso... Yuji didn’t have much of a choice...

I would like to know what changed Yuji’s mind into staying with Choso. I’m curious how Yuji “trusted” being with Choso after everything that went down. Yuji is a very forgiving character too (minus Mahito). But now, I think we can see that Choso has no bad intentions towards Yuji because he “might” be his brother. And their so cute too!!

On to our other boy!

Traits of a Capricorn: Megumi Fushiguro

Positive: Resourcefulness (top), discipline/patient (middle: also thank @pantherbeamish for the photos!), and reliability (bottom)

We also have: Responsibility, loyalty, diligence, team player, etc

Megumi is a very interesting character. Whenever I see him I get more interested in him. He is exactly what you would describe a Capricorn. We have seen Megumi be resourceful when it comes understanding how curse energy works thanks to him. He is very detailed when it comes to explaining and also a very patient man when Yuji, who doesn’t know jack shit about the Jujutsu world. Never, not once, does Megumi call Yuji an idiot for not knowing all these things. That’s what makes him amazing because if it were other Shonen mangas, the “rival” would’ve called Yuji an idiot. The only time Megumi ever calls Yuji an idiot is when Yuji literally does or says something stupid. To me, that is normal and not being a dick about it because we all know that if we had a friend like Yuji we would’ve stared at him like “why are you like this...”

It’s me... I’m a lot like Yuji lol

But no, he is very patient and tries to explain everything to Yuji as best as he can. I have this thing where almost everyone relies on Megumi a lot because he’s a serious guy + very responsible with his tasks. We see Maki trusting Megumi too. Like the time when Megumi was hyping Yuji up saying he can beat everyone in the Kyoto school if they didn’t use curse energy (something like that lol). Yuji also can confirm himself that Megumi is very reliable. He mentioned it while back at the prison because both sibling duo thought they were lost.

We also have: Unforgiving, criticism, suspicion, pickiness, etc

Just like Yuji, we have seen Megumi’s negative side a lot but it’s simply because he’s sensitive and thinks logically. Sometimes, I also feel like he thinks through his heart as well but that’s just me. That is where the sensitivity comes along. Megumi is hella sensitive he doesn’t need to show it because you can feel it.

In many, many occasions we have seen everyone fucking around or getting on Megumi’s nerves, especially in our recent Jujustroll where Gojo is saying a bunch of nonsense and embarrassing tf out of Megumi. His seriousness gets in the way and that’s what makes him sensitive.

On the side note: I also wanted to add something. As I was reading a few articles, some mentioned that Capricorns are... bland. Please, Capricorns!! No me ataques! I just find it interesting that someone, like Todo, who thinks Megumi is boring. Todo honestly thought he was boring since he first asked him what was his type and while Megumi gave us the best answer, Todo expected something more fun. But no, it was boring. Also, Megumi lives a simple life. Now, I’m not saying that Megumi is boring because as a matter of fact I like how simple he is. He likes to keep things neutral. Personally, on his activities he is considered “bland” and honestly, I can see why but I would still go out my way to enjoy it with him if I was his significant other lol I also feel like he has a good sense of style in fashion. I’m saying that judging from the official arts + “Lost In Paradise” because in that ED Megumi be looking like a bowl of fruits. A bowl of snacks lmao!

But, anyways! Megumi is also reserved to himself. He does not like talking about himself at all (hon hon does that sound like someone?). He doesn’t open up to a lot of people but I kinda feel like he does with Gojo but that’s just because Gojo raised him and he just knows when Megumi is feeling a certain way. Also, I bet Gojo just knows when Megumi is having a bad day too. We witnessed him just being in his own bubble in the current arc that is happened in the anime. Yuji and Nobara calls him out about him being so reserved to himself. He does eventually tells them what is going on, but it takes a lot for a Capricorn to open up and it’s totally understandable. I feel as if you want a Capricorn to open up, you have to let them give you time for them to get to know you. Give them your intentions and put in the effort to make them trust you.

I think what I truly love about their relationship and love the idea of them being an endgame is the trust that they have for one another(even though someone is gonna die). They barely knew each other for 2 months and their chemistry is off the mf charts.

The picture above isn’t just them having an eye opening moment but the fact that they trust each other to save one another.

Megumi had saved Yuji so many time

Tbh, when I was thinking about Megumi coming in to save Yuji from Yuuta and Naoya, I thought it would be the same as when Yuji saved Megumi and Maki from Hanami, but we got something better. We got to see Megumi never doubting Yuji and always making sure that he gives him as many chances as he gives. I hope that sparks a realization for Yuji because sometimes I always felt that he doesn’t really acknowledges Megumi doing a whole lotta things for Yuji. I’m still complaining about it because if he can say “thank you, best friend” to Todo or “thank you, Kugisaki, for letting me know that I am not alone” to Nobara, then he should definitely see how much Megumi gives a fuck about him.

I expect a “thank for being by my side and never doubting me” for Megumi.

This is interesting because a lot of the time Megumi is always making the plans and the choices. I feel like Yuji tends to rely on Megumi a lot because Yuji respects the way Megumi thinks (I’m not saying he doesn’t do that with anyone either).

I want to use Yuji asking Yuuta to kill him if Sukuna comes out especially for Megumi’s sake as an example of “emotional needs” because we see that Yuji does not want to be anywhere near Megumi because of Sukuna. In Yuji’s emotional state, he would rather have Yuuta kill him than Megumi. A lot of people also have this head canon that the reason why he asked Yuuta to kill him instead of Megumi is because Megumi already has a lot on his plate or something. I forgot the theory lol

But... I have a feeling that Megumi is gonna end up killing Yuji at the end because it should be him...
